Casa de Fruta Restaurant in Hollister

Always wanted to pass by to eat at the restaurant. We have been there for a pit stop and walked around. The restaurant did not disappoint. It has a modern rustic feel to it. Service was good. The food was amazing. The steak was as fresh as it can be. Actually cooked to the correct temperature I requested (medium). Seasoned enough to make sure the meat was the star. For $21 it was a steal. My son asked for orange juice and it was freshly squeezed and delicious. After we set we walked around and enjoyed the kids play area next to the carousel and pond. Definitely worth the stop

Literally one of my most favorite places to eat! The staff are all great the food is always cooked well and the atmosphere is really special. You can walk around and they have chickens and Peacocks hanging out on the property as well. Every time I need to go up north I stop here to eat and relax a bit, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I havent been here since it was a simple fruit stand with a little more. It definitely has grown and now offers a wide variety of merchandise, a park, train ride, ice cream store, wine store and lots of eye candy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an hour break from our travels. A nice place for the family to visit.

Must stop on the 152. We have been wanting to try this place out, and we finally did. We are glad we did. We went on a Saturday morning and only a few people were there. We were seated right away and got our order taken right away. The lady serving us had good customer service, and she made sure we were doing okay. The French toast was good with six pieces. The steak had a lot of flavor and looked bigger than 12 oz.We are happy with the service we got, and the food was delicious.There is plenty of parking nearby. Also, the restaurant is nice and quiet, and you are able to have conversations with your group and hear them.

A great restaurant just off the highway. The food is pretty standard American faire prepared well. Ive only had breakfast here but I suspect their other meals are just as good.I get the impression it gets very busy here, particularly on NorCal Renaissance Faire weekends. Plan accordingly.While our server was really sweet and attentive, others really seemed to have a hard time even smiling at us when we said hello. That seemed odd to us but they didnt have much to do with our overall experience.

Great first time experience eating at the restaurant and exploring the rest of the areas. Kids will love it and parents too. Playground, train, restaurant and shopping, also carousel and lots to Enjoy.

First time here. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Monterey. This place was great. Took my 4 yr old daughter on the little train ride & carousel. That was fun. Bacon cheeseburger & fries were really good. Nice thick bacon. Our waitress was very friendly & checked on us often. Gift shop & sweets shops were nice too. Definitely stopping by again when traveling through.

We did a quick stop .Went into the store to see if they had any of there Wine 🍷 on special 😁 tasted a few the associate at the wine tasting was very nice and and the tasting was complimentary and I did take 2 bottles ofClaras Rose 2021 always a nice stop they had the Carousel going 🎠

Just because the waitress puts her hand on your shoulder and calls you honey does not mean shes giving you good service. I was served rotten lettuce in my salad. My shrimp scampi was not ready with my dinner. My rice was clumpy. And there was a huge pile of carrots with only two pieces of broccoli on my plate. I asked for extra strawberry puree in my second cup of strawberry lemonade and the way just put so much in that it was undrinkable. I asked her for a second one to go and she just dumped the same one in the cup. She did not adjust the bill for me being unhappy with all of that nor did she call over the manager. She did however replace the rotten salad with a soup to go. I will definitely have to go back as the steak was delicious but I would definitely go to a different waitress

Decided to stop after seeing the signs for years. This place is a good resting stop for food and some quaint shopping.Pretty humorous how they leveraged the Casa de Fruita into so many sisters brands.I like Casa de Choo Choo. 😆I was looking forward to seeing the coffee cup flip thing I heard people talk about, unfortunately I but didnt see anyone doing it. I guess next time Ill ask about next time Im there.I thought the Casa de Fruita wine was funny. Would make a good office gag gift....the red wine is labeled as Sole of the Boot 🥾 😂
