Chef Marco Garcia catered a film production set I was part of and I have to say the two days of meals served were a delight. A combination of Mexican with Indian and Asian fusion flavours still have me recalling the fresh flavours and ingredients. Thank you!
This is our go to Taco place. The meat is topped generously and Besides their delicious Tacos, Their empanadas are amazing.Staff is super friendly and attentive and you can never go wrong with anything on the menu. Trust me I tried it all.
This place is an absolute GEM.. had the Milanesa Torta and it was by far the best Torta I’ve had in decades ... we decided to try the empanadas based on some reviews and WOW, they’re better than places that specialize in them! Can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is. Whoever taught these guys how to cook should have a statue dedicated to their honor!
Probably some of the best Mexican food in the area. Always fresh and hot full of flavor and tons of meat. The price is also great buck 50 for a taco. Used to go to Mission Burrito now only go here. The owner is a super nice guy that runs a catering company that makes every single type of yummy delicious food you could imagine.
Best in the Valley: I bet youve never heard of this place Mexican restaurant in the valley. Simple menu (tacos, burritos, tortas, nachos, etc.) where everything is made perfect. May I add that the food is not greasy like so many others.
Ive come in twice in last 4 weeks. Marcos the owner is very friendly and has decades of experience and knowledge in the business. The place is extremely clean. The staff is friendly, professional and most importantly... HELPFUL. The food is delicious, especially the empanadas and the carnitas tacos. Everything tasted homemade fresh. This place was great! We ordered two tacos, carne asada and al pastor, two empanadas, chicken and beef, and a breakfast burrito with chorizo. The complimentary chips and salsa was a nice touch before our meal was ready. Tacos were some of the best I have tried with their salsa and the empanadas were amazing with their chimichurri sauce. The burrito was packed with tater tots, chorizo, eggs, salsa, and cheese. Breakfast is served all day, so thats a nice perk. I will definitely come back.

Great tacos. But my favorite is their homemade empenadas. I get the ground beef one. It is quite delicious. Also you get chips and cheese like a mini nachos while you wait for your food. A great place.

FANTASTIC restaurant. He has great empanadas, and the absolute best Al Pastor I have ever had! This is the kind of place that gives you free chips when you are waiting for your takeout. They also sell the Asada etc. in pint and quart containers.
Best taco shop in the west valley. Carne asada tacos were on point. They also sell empanadas and the beef and the spinach and cheese were the best Ive had in awhile. My kids liked the caldo de pollo. Price is very reasonable (1.50 for a street taco and 2.50 for an empanada) and the complimentary chips come with beans cheese and sour cream.Friendly staff

For the price, this has to be the best taco place in the area. Its tucked away in a strip mall so its s bit difficult to find. Also, their complimentary chips and salsa basket is amazing. (Which can be detrimental to any diet)

We heard about Casa de Papi Mexican Grill from a friend who is a foodie and now we only go to Papis its our neighborhood favorite. We have a big extended family and the food is made fresh without the long wait of a big chain restaurant.My husband who was born in Mexico City loves that we dont haveto go downtown for the authentic dishes he loves so much. The schedule online or on the store has no value.I so hoped to do business locally plus I liked their veg foods. Because they are so unreliable I am hunting for New Mexican restaurants

I figured why not lets do the burger.When I tell you it was a dam good burger, virtually a religious moment... you should trust me.Far better then anything you would get at Fathers Office... mind you Im only comparing the burger quality, portion, seasoning etc... you cant compare anything else.Double patty that cumulated is about 1.5 thick! The tomato, sliced from the heart. Thousand Island on one side, Mayo, Ketchup on the other... lightly toasted sesame seed bun.It was one impressive experience and I can attest! Being a native to Los Angeles, growing up on burgers such as Tommys (Beverly & Rampart), Barneys Beanery, Fat Burger, Ships, Flookys, Pinks, Jans, Delores, The Counter, In & Out, The Apple Pan, Astro Burger, The Palm (which still is ranked. #1 but its a ground steak burger, arduous to vanquish!)... Casa De Papi Id put right along side any of the aforementioned, minus the Palm.Bottom line, if you dote a great burger, and youre open minded... you genuinely should experience this.

2023-08-27 18:26:14I went there during what was supposed to be their peak business hours. They were closed. The hours posted on the door state that theyre open 11 am to 6 pm. For some reason when I went, they were just sorta randomly closed and I drove a long way to get there. The last time my coworkers went there they said the food was bad. This place was good at one time, and really cheap. Now its expensive and you just dont know when theyll even be open. I think were all done here.

I had a torta de jamon (originally wanted milanesa but they were out) and i also ordered 1 beef empanada and I must say the taste is beyond authentic. I ordered my food to go and they offered chips topped with mole sauce with cheese & sourcream mmm yummy I will deff be going back the service was good as well. Try it you wont regret it!!!
