2023-11-12 17:44:34I’m so incredibly glad this place re-opened!It’s like stepping into another world. Get the Sultan’s Feast your first time and be prepared to be dazzled as fish after dish of amazing food appears on your table.Bring some bills to tip the belly dancer (who puts on a family-friendly show!)It’s a great spot for a date, family night, or a meal with a close friend.BYOB if you’re into that.My only suggestion to management: dim the lights. The brightness of the new lights kind of messed with the atmosphere..

2023-11-06 16:58:52We were a party of nine. The place was packed and super energized at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. I think everyone arrived at the same time and so it took quite a while to get water and menus but honestly it was all well worth the wait, the staff was so kind and friendly. The food was incredibly flavorful and unique I cant compare to any other cuisine. We all ordered the Sultans feast and it really was so much delicious, high quality food. We had two vegetarians in the group and they had sufficient food, though maybe they could add one or two additional dishes for vegetarians just to round it out a little more. The atmosphere was awesome w a belly dancer. Ive only ever been here once before, and when we came back then, they do a hand washing ritual at the table, and then end with rose oil at the end of the dinner. As it was so busy they didnt do that this time but hopefully they do in the future! They dont serve alcohol but they allow you to open your own beverages at the table and they have a wine bottle opener and glasses if you need it. I would come back for sure- this place is an incredible cultural experience. Moroccan people are so much fun! Im very glad this is in our community!

2023-09-18 19:24:56The food was delicious. My only wish was that they had explained how the food was normally eaten. There were only two serving spoons brought to the table, so apparently, most of the food was eaten with your fingers or the pita bread. We had told them that we had never been to a Moroccan restaurant before. Otherwise the food was wonderful and we will try it again.

2023-11-18 21:22:40I’m SO happy they reopened! One of the best hidden gems in the Sacramento area. Delicious food that tastes homemade, beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, and I’ve always felt like family when I go in. Highest recommendation!

2020-02-13 05:50:43I ate at this restaurant two days ago and here is my honest opinion. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable to dine in. The seating area is very untraditional to common restaurant but rather vintage Moroccan style. Atmosphere makes feel homesick. Food is tasty, delicious and authentic Moroccan. Food preparation and serving was surprisingly fast. My favorite is the carrots salad, and chicken tajeen. The phyllo desert with almond is one of the best sweets I ever tried. Service is great and fast and the hosts are beyond kind and courteous. I recommend dining at this place over others particularly due to the tasty food and great service in comparison to other overrated and overpriced restaurants in the area.

2022-03-21 02:43:48Cant speak more highly of this place. It would 5 stars even if the food was bad, which its not. The owner Mourhit treats every customer as a friend and is such a pleasure to be around. My wife and I always order the sultans feast. Great flavors and consistency. The environment is intimate and cozy and it makes me want to stay longer. 10/10 recommend anyone who wants good food, to try something new or a wonderful experience.

2022-07-01 04:25:54When you walk into Casablanca, youre not walking into just another restaurant; youre walking into an experience. From the moment we entered, we felt a part of the family. Its not every restaurant that the owner personally spends time with each guest, makes a connection, and kindly educates about his culture. I knew from the very first dish that we were in for a treat. We got the Royal Feast and I had the Lamb Kawabata (sweet but incredibly balanced and interesting). The Bastilla blew my mind. I have literally been around the world- from back country Afghanistan, to Europe, to 5-star restaurants in Vegas- this meal made my top-ten best meals ever. Who knew Id stumble on this small gem in Sacramento! Worth EVERY penny.
