I’ve been going almost every day since they opened — such a unique addition to North County! Love supporting a family business. The flavors are rich and everything(and I mean EVERYTHING) is HOMEMADE. Hard to find these days.I get a pastry nearly everyday on my way to work, but their a la carte menu is so good.Definitely worth checking out - a gem of North County!

This was an online pop-up food recommendation. We decided to try it out on a whim since its so close to home. Im glad we did! The service was great, they explained all the different foods and options. Prices are reasonable - the food portions were .... lets put it this way, we had to take leftovers home. Food is very flavorful with a fresh home cooked feel-no frozen or fast food vibe. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Definitely going back for more!☺️

Great new place in Oceanside! Food was delicious and the service was friendly. Whole family loved the lomo saltado, even the kids. Salchicha huachana was also a hit, as were the pastries, of course. We’ll be back!

Part of me didnt want to write this review to keep this my own hidden gem as a local but, hey, these people deserves all the recognition and fame they can get. The food here hits my heart, service is awesome, plenty of parking, and tables. They have a buffet with food that tastes homecooked and they also cook plates to order. To me their pollo saltado is not from this world. Must have! Thank you Casera for always make me break a smile when I eat your food. Love from Brazil!

The BEST Colombian/Peruvian food this side of the Mississippi. Wow. True to its name everything we tried was immeasurably delicious and homemade with love. Its the second restaurant the family owns, the other is in New York. They have everything from guava empanadas to chaufa to arepas. If you’ve been searching all over SoCal for authentic South American food like I have, then look no further.

Good selection of tasty Colombian and Peruvian food. The place is clean and the ambiance is really good. Service is 100%.Authentic Colombian empanadas and buñuelos, by the way notice that Colombian buñuelos are different than Mexican ones. Peruvian empanadas and alfajores are good as well. They have Peruvian and Colombian tamales, I think from El Valle area. We havent tried them but will soon.Casera is one of those places that you feel welcome since you open the door.

Delicious empanadas! Ive been missing my Peruvian fix since Panca closed. I also brought back some alfajores to work and the coworkers were big fans. Looking forward to returning for lunch or dinner.

I picked up 1 each of the empanadas (chicken, beef, and spinach baked empanadas and beef and chicken fried empanadas) and a couple guava pastries and brought them home to share with my family. For $30 we had a delicious handmade food, perfect for a afternoon snack for 4 or more people. I think the spinach and cheese empanada is my favorite but I cant decide because they are all so good!! They also offer full meals that are also really tasty. Definitely a must try restaurant!

Best empanadas ever had in US made fresh hourly/daily. Amazing bakery, breakfast, dinner and lunch entrees. Casual eat-in or grab-and-go. Legitimately Peruvian. Family owned, friendly service. Highly recommend if you crave healthy, savory or sweet, fresh, flavorful and authentic food.
