The food is good, I like the concept, from what I noticed they make a lot of their own ingredients like pickles and pickled onion. Their was a brat sandwich added as a new thing when I went and I think they made that themselves which is always nice to have house made meats. As many of my reviews before I am a sucker for tots. The fries have a nice BBQ smoked paprika seasoning on them that I enjoyed.

I have not eaten here, however, I door dash from here. Food is always delicious. I always get the pulled pork sliders and recently tried their lockford sliders. Very delicious. And if youre a fan of tater tots I highly recommend them. Dear management, if you read this, please add the fish and chips back on the door dash menu...

The staff and the food here are amazing! Our company hosted a private Christmas party here on a Saturday and they opened up 2 hours early to cater to us. The inside is kind of small. A hole in the wall kind of feeling. This would be a real good place to grab a bite and a drink for two. We will definitely be visiting again soon to try other things on their menu.

Despite their fryer being down, the food offerings were good. Hubby had the Brussel sprout taco and the carnitas tacos. He loved them! I had the sausage sliders and they were delicious too! There was live music and the performer was awesome. This was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to going back.

This place was so good!My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food last night. He ordered the cast iron burger and I ordered the cast iron carnitas tacos. I also got a Michelada and let me tell you, IT IS THE BEST IN TOWN!!!!! I love Micheladas and not everyone can make a good one. My first sip was breathtaking. It made me so happy knowing it tasted so good since I’m usually disappointed by other micheladas. The food was delicious and so was my drink! The environment is great and to top it off we ordered their brownie sundae and it was so tasty!! I’m super impressed with this restaurant. Don’t hesitate to come in!

Stopped by on the way home from Reno on a Saturday Nite about 7pm. Had a Wonderful Young Trio playing some Good Music, Good selection of Beer and food was Delicious. Recommend the Carnitas Tacos the Wife had a Salad and it was Great. Would stop there again and recommend. Neat Place

Visited this location simply because they offered vegan options. As my daughter is vegan. Once we arrived we were greeted by the staff which were all nice. We placed our order and then we sat down to wait for order. Once we received our food the owner came out and sparked up a conversation with us also informed that he wanted to extend location for more outside dining experiences. Looking forward to visiting location again food was good need to partake in the bar area next visit

I like to call this place little Napa because its like going to Napa Valley for a great food experience! This place serves burgers, pizza, salads, bar style food, and the food is amazing. You can tell the quality of the food they are serving is top notch. The prices are a little on the higher side, but it is so worth it. If you get a burger, make sure to get tater tots!!

Came in for a vegan crunchwrap night and it did not disappoint. Im not vegan but my sister is and my hubby is vegetarian so Im what they call a vegan enthusiast 😉I had their classic margarita and brussel sprout tacos and it was 👌Staff was friendly and the environment was warm and welcoming. Staff was exceptional!! They were energetic, polite, and very efficient. The food was amazing honestly, had the Totchos and parents had the B.E.C Sando. You could tell ingredients were fresh, cooked with attention to detail, and a twist of rustic meets modern. We also had their churro donut dessert, it was DELICIOUS. Donut had soft interior and crunchy exterior, came w/ whipped cream & fresh strawberries. Will go back and highly recommend.

We just discovered this place and its a great place to get a beer and have some delicious food!! Especially on Thursday they have live music. Staff is always kind. They have beer on tap specially pliny the elder, and they also offer cans beers to and if you dont drink beer no worries they have non alcoholic beverages to!!.

Out of the items pictured, I only truly enjoyed the tots and the cucumber slices that came with the grilled cheese sandwiche. The tots themselves are $2 and you get an ok amount of them for the price; they were hot, crisp, and nicely seasoned. The burrito while being the most expensive thing shown, $8, it was also the biggest disappointment. While the burrito is a decent side, there was no taste to it. You cannot tell that theres carnitas, French fries, and some kind of chipotle sauce wrapped in the tortilla. Lastly, weve come to the grilled cheese that came up to $7 and wasnt listed on the small menu. For $7, you would expect to get at least some actual fries on the side. Nope youd be wrong to think that, you get the sandwich and some delicious cucumber chips (total of 3). Otherwise its your standard grilled cheese with some fancy toppings, that at first is great but quickly becomes old in your mouth.The establishment itself was nice, the woman working as cashier seemed to be in a little rush and didnt inform us of the price of the grilled cheese sandwiches until after I had tried to figure out why the bill was so high.

The veggie burger and garlic fries were amazing, the cast iron burger was astounding, and I am definitely coming back! There was a live act that apparently plays Thursdays. Seating is both indoors and outdoors at this time. 10s across the boards! The original fries are a must try!I could rave on forever, so just try it.

Like any place, you go for the food and good service. And this place has both.I had the carnitas taco. It was juicy and full of flavor. I suggest take a bit first before you add hot sauce. It is so awesome as-is. My friend had the carnitas burrito. Dont get me wrong but it was tasty and had a sweetness to it. GOOD! But I did like it with a hint of hot sauce.My partner had the brussel sprout taco .. TO Die For he said. It must have been cause I couldnt get a bite in.So check it out, Bri is so sweet and has great suggestions. Try it!

Love this little joint! Very friendly vibe. I went when they had live music. Alex Reyes and his band were so wonderful and talented. I hope they keep bringing him back! Food was great! Wanted to try somewhere we had never been, made a good choice. My wifes food came well before mine did (irritated me a bit) and she waited for me to get mine before eating. With out me saying anything the owner saw that it was taking too long and (in my opinion) went above what they needed to so I would have a positive experience and I did.The staff was extremely friendly. I took their suggestion on beer choice and was glad I did.Will definitely be back.

Id pass on the avocado toast, not worth the price. However the tachos were good, and the tea and coffee tasty and freshly brewed. In general the prices seem out of range for most stocktonians. Im hoping to change my review to 4 or 5 stars after i try some lunch items.

Food was DELICIOUS! The girl at the register was awesome. We asked if we could move tables together and she said of course. Another girl came and and said we couldn’t with a really condescending attitude. Told us the girl that said we could “was new”. Every option we asked, she rejected. I understanding the reason was because of the live band coming, we really just did not appreciate her attitude towards us. Other than that one worker, everything else was perfect . 3/4/23

Absolutely amazing find that I highly recommend. The menu is always changing and fresh. They have a fantastic selection of beer on tap as well as an extensive beer fridge. They make unique coffee drinks. I came for a networking event that they hosted. They allow other local businesses to come in and advertise. It was a great experience. If you have the chance to stop by for a meal or just happy hour do it.

I went here with a friend for one of their unknowns exhibits. It was pretty cool. The artist was there, and he walked us around and told us all about his art. There was a guitarist jamming in the background who was fun to watch. Plus, the beer was good and the food smelled great (but I wasnt hungry so we didnt order anything).I would go here again!

This is a quaint little hole in the wall located in downtown Stockton with great food and amazing coffee! I am still thinking about both hours later, I even ate every bite of the Roasted Roma tomatoes in my BLT, I never eat the tomatoes! And I do mean never, unless they are heirlooms. Their Roasted Roma Tomatoes were amazing and the pecan smoked bacon was extra thick, next time I would add one more slice, was fried perfectly with no greasy fat!I added the regular fries that were perfectly seasoned and my meal off with a slightly over priced coffee for the size, but taste wise perfection! It was a Tres Leches Iced Latte (16oz $4.75)

My wife, and I, happened up on this place on our way to a poem reading next door. We went in, because we were a little early, so we decided to just sit, and have some fries.The fries were good, there was live entertainment, and a football game on the TV. I cant give a review on the food, since we only ordered fries, but the service was good, the atmosphere was, absolutely, inviting, the facility was clean, and the ambience was perfect. Im glad that we decided to go in. We will definitely be returning. Even, though, we didnt order a full meal, by the looks of all the smiles on everyones faces, and all of the empty plates, I would assume the food is really good... Lol. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, I had the nugget burger, which is not always on the menu and the lockeford sausage sliders. Both dishes were perfection. The cozy spot was packed full on a Saturday night when I picked up my food, but the staff was still kind and attentive, and got me in and out in an expeditious manner. I will always come back here for takeout and when Im in Stockton for pleasure, if ever, I will be coming in to sit down and enjoy whatever special the chef has that week, because Im sure it will be amazing. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. Very knowledgeable on their beer selection and eager to help recommend a beer to try. I had a double onion Podesto burger. The burger itself had somewhat of a sausage taste to it which kind of threw me off, but the fries had a nice sweet seasoning to them that countered the strange flavor of the burger patty. Had a couple of beers with the meal and hung out at the counter with the friendly staff. The chef came out to greet us and he was very kind and friendly. He seemed genuinely excited that we stopped in to eat. We also tried the Hawaiian pizza and that was REALLY good. Pineapple DOES belong on pizza 🍕😋

I am a Travelling nurse working in Stockton. My hometown is Portland Ore. where breweries and live music are found in abundance. I cant say enough about how great this place is. Thank you yelp for guiding me to this gem in Stockton. The inside is trendy with nice decor and quite a bit of indoor seating. The decor appears to have a rustic industrial look which I felt works with the menu and the overall theme of the restaurant. The food was really good. I enjoyed the sliders; the pork was my favorite, the salad and their tots are also delicious. The prices are about average for a place like this not too expensive it falls right in that sweet spot. But the food is definitely worth it. The pork was seasoned perfectly and the tots were fried to perfection and the salad tasted so fresh. And the dessert! I had the doughnut cupcake it was amazing! So delicious! It wasnt overly sweet which I loved. It had just enough sweetness to satisfy but without making you feel super guilty. It was really great. I will definitely be returning its worth the drive.

My first Five Star Review! Came here in the time of Covid19, outdoor seating was well-spaced and had plenty of shade and misters to keep cool in the late afternoon. We wore masks indoors to place our order. The staff was so friendly and helpful! And their beverage selection is INCREDIBLE. I ordered Brussels Sprouts tacos and SO ordered a burger. Let me tell you, these tacos were AMAZING. The texture and flavor were perfect! I wish I would have had room to eat more!! Will definitely be back here to try more.

Holy moly it was fantastic. I had the veggie burger and fries, with the fries cooked extra crispy. The fries could not have been better. they were crispy, fresh, and had a light dusting of some seasoning. I wouldnt say they were spicy but they definitely had a fantastic bite and flavor.The veggie burger was about the best veggie burger Ive ever eaten. It wasnt large, but it was cooked perfectly. they use the beyond beef patty, which is indistinguishable from meet. The bun was as soft as a fresh-baked bun. It was slightly charred, giving the combination an unbelievable flavor.this is not a place that you would stumble onto. It is in downtown Stockton, which is a very quiet City on a weekday evening at 7:30 pm. this street does not look terribly inviting, although it is just one block up from the multiplex cinema. But you must go out of your way to come here.

This place is good. Im on jury duty in Stockton so Ive been visiting the local joints. This one is my fave so far. I had the Totchos. Tater tots nachos and they were quite good. I also had the grilled cheese and was not disappointed. The last thing I ate was the avocado toast. Never had it before, but I think I like it. A lot. I definitely recommend this place.

So many said to try this place out for the vegan options but I found it too taco truck oriented. You stand in a line out the door to have very limited options and mostly alcoholic beverages. If you get a table there is zero service. You have to get back into that long line to get another drink. Very pricey for a sub par experience. I truly enjoy this gem of a hole-in-the-wall. When the music is good on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday night this place is packed. And even when the music is less than good the food is still delicious and fresh. I’ll often pair some brussel sprout or shrimp tacos with the sour beer or lager on tap. When I’m feeling healthy I’ll get a salad and a hard kombucha.

The food is good but their portions are small and their menu could use some expansion. I don’t eat pork and there were only a few things on the menu I could eat. I heard they had chicken and waffles and they had brussel tacos but neither of those were available the day I went. My wife and 3 teenage sons came here for a very late lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals, fresh ingredients, interesting flavors and groovy hipster ambiance. I had a “black lager” and pulled pork tacos, and everyone else had toasted cheese sandwiches or fish and chips. We also had a basket of the turnip fries with a zingy pesto dipping sauce.

Easy to find with a fun atmosphere and a no nonsense menu; thats what we were promised and thats what we found at Cast Iron Trading. My coworkers and I were in the area for a business meeting and the general foreman on the job said this was one of his regular haunts. Sandwiches and salads was all we were really looking for, but instead we found a place Id love to visit again. The employees were welcoming and the artistic and industrial decor made it feel like a cool place to hang out, rather than dine and dash (as in eat fast, not skip paying ha). All six of us ordered something different, with my gluten-free needs being fulfilled by the one salad option, though the sandwiches had a GF bread option as well. With just two dressing options, I opted for the Green Godzilla ranch-style dressing, I wasnt sure it would be more than a classic side garden salad, but boy was I surprised. It was flavorful, quite large in size, and very colorful.

Visited Stockton on February 24-25, 2018. Three of us started off next door at the local brewery, which had a band playing and was a little too loud. The staff there suggested walking next door to Cast Iron Trading Co., both for good food and a diverse selection of beers on tap and in the frig. I am SO thankful for that piece of advice!The food was excellent! We had sliders with sausage from Lockeford Meats (a Lodi institution), which were super tasty - great sausage complemented by a slaw and soft but substantial slider buns. The brussel sprout tacos were killer. The sausage pizza special was very good, but is really kind of rectangular flatbread, not a typical pie. All the food was very tasty and I highly recommend it. We met the chef once the kitchen shut down, and he was a very nice, personable fellow.The beers on tap were excellent, and quite diverse, even though there were only about 8 or so. A few I had not heard of, and I am an avid beer enthusiast. Even better was the refrigerator that had dozens of cans and bottles covering a broad spectrum of beer styles, all from breweries across the US and even into Europe. Our group tried about 7 of those cans/bottles and not once were we disappointed.Owner Eric Lee closed the place up, and chatted with our group and another couple. He was congenial, informative, and also a beer enthusiast. Chatting and tasting beers with him was the highlight of our trip to Stockton. Looking forward to heading back in a few months and seeing what his beer guru has ordered up.While not cheap, this place had excellent quality and selection.
