Food was delicious, they accommodated our large party of 16 and the food came out fast. The Catrina burger I had was delicious, my wife had the chilaquiles and she said they were good. Overall great place with good prices, wheel chair accessible and street parking right outside.

This restaurant was great. Very fast,friendly, and yummy. I got breakfast burrito with sausage, egg, fried potatoes. Their salsa had a kick and was heavy on cilantro. It was too big to eat all of it and unfortunately it would be left in a warm car. We had stopped on our way to do dolphin watching tour in Newport Beach.Great little place.

Party of 2 wait time at 10:15 am on a Saturday was about 10 minutes. Not bad. I was expecting much worse. It was our first time there and we ordered a cafe de Olla and a cafe Mexicano. Both were delicious. Both were just right on sweetness. I ordered molletes. They were delicious. The salsa was mild but had lots of flavor. It is filling. I only ate one and brought the other one home for later. My husband ordered chilaquiles. When he saw the plate, he said I shouldve ordered without lettuce. Ultimately, he loved it with the lettuce. He usually never orders green chilaquiles, but he loved every bite. The green chile was very flavorful and had a little kick. I recommend both dishes.The service was fantastic as well. Our server was helpful on menu choices and was attentive to our needs. Check them out.

Great breakfast and brunch spot! They have a great little coffee shop as well inside that you can order from while you’re waiting for a table. They have a few patio tables outside that are pet friendly as well. We went 7/30 and the barista and service was amazing!

Was surprised by this place. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was very good. I got the avocado toast and wife got the eggs your way. The avo toast was served on HOUSE made bread that was amazing. Flavor profile popped. Topped it was a poached eggs that was the best I have ever had. I dont get it, but it was so good.Wife got the poached eggs with yummy bacon and house potatoes, that were amazing as well. Green in color due to seasoning...flavor...oh my. Going again real soon.

Best French Toast Ive ever had in my life! They use home made bread and dip it in a Brulee mixture before they fry it. The Chilaquiles were great and mildly spicy. The Avocado Toast with Poached egg and potatoes was also great. They marinate the thin potato slices in a green herb mixture that provides nice flavor. Everything here has a homemade touch. Great coffee too!

I really don’t like to leave negative reviews, but thought it would be important to leave this review as a warning and as feedback.I visited this restaurant after reading many positive reviews and was excited to try the breakfast burrito. I ordered the burrito to go and sat down to wait for it after being told there would be a 20 minute wait.About 5 minutes into waiting, two women came in, saw me sitting at the table, and then asked the host if they could have my table. There were other tables available where they could have dined, yet the server came to me, also a paying customer, and asked me to wait outside. Again, there were other tables available.This is concerning to me as the only black customer in the restaurant at the time. It felt as though my patronage was not valued, and personally I refuse to pay for service that sends that message.I ended up getting a refund and plan to go Ubuntu Cafe instead.

Love this place, found it by chance and glad I did. I was initially waiting on crema cafe but didnt want to waste an hour to wait for a seat so I went here instead. I had the chilaquiles and my kids had the french toast. It was delicious and the service was excellent, the staff is very cordial, friendly and attentive. Ive now been coming back for over 3 years and I still love it.

We came here because of the Mexican twist. I love Mexican and dislike typical American breakfast. Ordered the French toast because one review said the best theyve ever had..... yall..... this was the best French toast of my life!! Dont bother with the maple syrup, ask for extra eggnog sauce... TRUST ME!The breakfast potatoes are so incredibly delicious, some of the best with their unique seasoning. The smoked salmon Benedict was awesome. Not fishy or dry as many smoked salmons can be. I would come here weekly if I lived here. Next time I fly to LA Ill be back! Also, the staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, kind, attentive. Perfect service!

Incredible hidden gem near the beach. Their French toast is to die for. Great coffee. Amazing, friendly service (I had to check if I was still in LA county since you never see THAT anymore). This is my new favorite spot near Long Beach. Will bring all of my dates here for the morning after 😏

Visited this restaurant recently and absolutely loved it. The service was excellent, the prices were/are reasonable, and the food was very fresh and delicious (I had one of their omelettes with potatoes). Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended.

Honest review- came for lunch and food was just okay- nothing special or savory. Felt rushed the moment we sat down. The gentleman who seemed like the owner or manager greeted many people but never greeted our table. The other lady with curly hair seened rushed too and we felt like she needed us to leave to use the table. The young woman was sweet though, she was knowledgeable and gave us recommendations. We wont be back, we had an okay experience.

Live nearby. My Wife and I have had lunch in here three times since this place recently opened. So far so good. Twice had the beef burger with potatoes. Once had the breakfast wrap. Everything has been very good. Service has also been very good. My wife had the vegie burger and enjoyed it. She also had the kale salad which she liked. They have WiFi but you need to ask for the password. They dont have fountain drinks, that is why I removed a star, they serve Diet Coke in a bottle. Prices are reasonable.

My friends and I are on Vacation from Tennesse, staying in Anaheim. We came to the coast to get a bit of beach time in, and were actually looking for a breakfast place he had looked up online but on the way stumbled upon Catrinas. The was one of thos happy accidents that turned into a wonderful experience. We were dead set on visiting again before we left for home so we went back again this morning. The staff is wonderful. We spoke with the owners and gave our praises for the food. From the presentation to the taste, it is unparallelled in any other breakfast establishment we have been to on our 11 day trip. I am glad we got to have it a second time, as it truly is a once in a lifetime meal experience. To anyone traveling through seal beach, this is a very worthy hidden gem that will not leave you disappointed. 10/10. Cannot wait to revisit this wonderful place again next year.

I absolutely love Catrina Cafe - it is such a gem in Seal Beach! Ive tried all of their delicious salads, and the kale salad is by far my favorite. The vegetarian wrap is also delicious! And make sure to save room for dessert - the snickerdoodle cheesecake is to die for! Its a great place for a quick sit-down meal (when things are open) and a great place for takeout right now during the COVID crisis. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything is sanitized.
