2023-09-09 07:12:31When i say the food is like home cooking, i mean that you could make something just as good at home. the servings are large and the sides are plentiful. so plentiful that there’s a lot of waste. the service was excellent, attentive, and professional. the dining room looks like the lounge in a bowling alley, though. the burnt cheesecake was great, so go light on dinner, just for the experience, and save room for dessert.

2023-02-05 19:13:49I and my brother celebrated our birthday dinner at Centro Basco. Absolutely amazing as always. My family has been loyal customers since the 70s. If you can afford it I urge you to experience it. I had a ribeye for my entree. We went with a family style service. We had a great time. Peace big John

2021-12-25 18:53:59This place is great. It was our anniversary and we decided to go out after a year or so not dinning out.It was a great experience. The staff here are very happy, kind and polite. Always checking in on a timely manner. We were well taken care even though they have a full house and a big party just next door. The food was great!! So good and everything arrived in a timely manner as well. It was tasty. They have a full bar as well. One can just ask them to make any type of cocktails and/or drinks one desire!Feel like part of a family eating here!Great experience!

2022-06-14 04:47:04Centro Basco specializes in cuisine from the Basque country, which lies between parts of northern Spain and southern France.Dishes range from roasted chicken, lamb/pork chops, or my favorite, oxtails. You can order individual dishes, but if your there for a family style dinner, you will be served bread, cheese, soup, salad, entry of the day, steak, fries, and of course, wine. The menu changes often, and depending on the day of week, may be served family style. Call ahead of time to find out what will be on the menu ...or just drop in and go with the flow.

2023-02-05 21:03:48I finally went to try the paella on Friday evening. It did not disappoint. It has plenty of seafood: shrimp, clams, mussels. Also, a few pieces of Lukinka sausage and chicken drumettes. Im a rice fanatic, so I would have preferred more. Insanely delicious and at$30 well worth it! I added the $8 to make it a meal which came with bread, butter, soup, beans, and salad. I loved the house made Bleu cheese that came mixed in and had a slice of Jack cheese on top. However, make sure to ask for tomatoes and onions if so inclined. I left very satisfied and definitely will return. Service was on the slow side, but very friendly.

2021-12-24 16:46:06I love Centro Basco. I have been coming for years on weekends for the family style lunch and today I tried the dine in weekday lunch service and was not disappointed.I had three scrumptious pan seared lamb chops with a crispy, flavorful outside and tender meaty inside smothered in chopped garlic. The lamb was excellent, full of flavor and prepared well with sides of mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. For dessert I had a homemade pumpkin cheesecake that was heavenly. Its texture was perfect and the crust was out of this world. The addition of a dollop of whipped cream brought everything together for a delightful dessert.Ive never had a bad experience here and have enjoyed coming with groups of 15+ for family style weekends. The staff is incredible and know how to treat you right. See you again soon Centro Basco! For more food reviews and pictures follow me on Instagram @Aimee.Eats_

2022-01-07 18:30:01(Via Eat the World Los Angeles) - There are multiple rooms (and bars), but even the main dining room can comfortably host small and big groups within its wood wainscoted walls. Old photographs and paintings set the mood of culture and tradition, but within minutes of sitting down even those with no familiarity into Basque food or people cannot hide from the warm, contagious vibe.

2023-07-16 01:46:24First of all my wife is angry because there was a noisy wedding reception crowd that was spilling overson into the public dining area and the waiters didnt bother to control the overwhelming noise pollution. My wifes chicken tasted old and was overcooked. All of my familys plates had the same exact sauce regardless of what they ordered. The bread tasted old and the butter was cheap. All dishes were plain with little to no seasoning which the cooking did not make up for. The meats of all dishes tasted like microwaved leftovers.

2023-06-05 14:01:49Centro Basque is a historic experience as much as it is a culinary one. Featured on their menu is food from the spanish-french countryside. While the price is in the mid 20s and above it definitely meets the cost. The boarders special will definitely fill you up and changes daily to let you try various flavors. Last time I went it was salmon and steak with soup and salad and while not for me it came with a glass of wine. A wonderful place with delicious food.
