I come here for the 4DX seats. Theyre a lot of fun! The theater is clean, sound and visuals are great, and you can scan your ticket and get snacks all at once.
Clean, friendly staff and great sound system. But there is only ONE theatre that is 3D/4D. All the rest are regular theaters and basic seating. Cute place, but havent tried a 4D movie here yet. Heard it is really cool though. Will be coming back soon :)
Ticket purchase means dealing with concession lines. Broken ticket machines, broken seats. Hard to find entrance. 4dx experience is more annoying than entertaining. Its like randomly having someone kicking the back of your seat and having fans turn on to blast you with cold air. Definitely dont forget to wear a sweater.
I can hear the other theaters from inside a theater. They also got rid of their chocolate popcorn which is pretty much the only reason I want to go there. Bring it back CGV BP!

I tried the Premium and it was awesome. The seat has incline/decline function and the leg supporter was great. I recommend to seat D or E aisle otherwise the screen might be too close to you. Caramel&Onion Popcorns were good~. Why 4stars? Why $19.50 for a matinee? If you are into Korean movies, definitely give it a try. You will impress your date for sure.

Also, they dont let you select seats with gaps, so you mist choose seats next to an occupied seats. Needless to say that I will be watching movies from AMC or Harkins.
I never thought of myself as a complainer, but It is absured why they charge the Booking fee on line, even they do not refund for the reserved tickets and even they get benefit from saving the labor cost with it.
This place is really fancy and has lots of options--from exciting ways to view movies (4DX, Screen X, Premium theatres, subtitles, etc) to different food and drinks. Blows any regular movie theatre out of the water.
The popcorn was good. They had several different flavors available. However the seats were uncomfortable for me. Also there was subtitles, witch distract me. Not the theater for me I guess 🤷
Theater is bit old and sometimes have little dust on the seat but the food and the workers there makes up for slight inconvenience!! :D
The newest CGV Cinema has now arrived in Buena Park with comfortable, reserved seats and a gourmet snack counter/bar. Plenty of free parking and extremely friendly customer service in each section of the theatre.Unfortunately, over the past few years, CGV Cinema has not maintained its cleanliness and many of the bathroom urinals, sinks and toilets have remained out of order for nearly one year.
I came here to see the movie The Moon with D.O. The theatre has great and comfortable seats and great movie selection.
4D theater was very cool, but the scent was akways the same and smelt like dead flowers
The best movies experience ever. This theater has the moving seats, wind, rain sound the grea8 prices on the food court. I recommend it 100% to anyone who want to watch a awesome movie with the best experience ever. My family and I watched avatar 2 and we drove 2 hours just to watch this movie at CGV Cinemas Buena Park
The seats from the pictures online looked a little old but were surprisingly comfortable. Very modern/independent vibe inside, more upscale concessions, located in The Source shopping center which was convenient for food afterwards. Will definitely return in the future!

Nobody checks tickets, so anyone can just walk in and take a seat in any theater. The food I ordered, which took a long time was given to someone else that ordered after me because they dont call names, they just ask who ordered the dumplings? Of course more than one person can be waiting for dumplings. They gave my pork dumplings to someone who ordered chicken. What if it was against their religion to have pork or allergic to it? The 4DX seats should not be turned on for previews. The previews are all action packed, so you feel like you are in a washing machine for 20 minutes.
Conveniently situated at the top of the mall, the lobby looks clean, food options and prices were typical of a movie theater. Was initially a bit miffed about the ticket price and seeing that the chairs were too tightly packed only to find out that it was 4DX! The chairs were moving! Probably wouldn’t have brought food in if I knew this beforehand. Watched Black Panther on it and it was really enjoyable with the moving chairs and wind from the fans. I guess bring a sweater/jacket if you get cold easily.
I went to see both End Game and John Wick 3 here at the 4DX screen 6 at CGV. I have to say that it ruined all the regular screens for me now because the 4DX experience is just SO GOOD. It works especially well when the movie is made for it as well. Again, 4DX is a must try. I love the sweet popcorn as well.
Great location for movies and love the customer service, everyone I encountered was extremely polite and happy, hard to see these days! I would suggest to get some recliners thus the four stars.
This place is very clean and intimate. It is a smaller cinema but thats its charm! Dont you hate having so many people crammed in one place? Well, here its much less sardine style, more time with friends and family. Easy recommendation to everyone.
Okay do have never went to a move in 4DX but went yesterday to see the antman movie. Soooo I think it was alot of fun almost like going on a ride that lasts throughout a movie! Most fun we had at a movie theater go try it out worth the prices!

I was surprised to find that the 4DX wasnt in 3D. The fans were too loud during quiet scenes and the chairs didnt really move according to the movie. I would not recommend their 4DX movies.
Saw Swing Kids . Good movie, cashier was very friendly and helpful. The kiosk out side would not read my card... she handled it cheerful.
Went here to watch Top Gun- maverick with 4DX but it was just meh.The seat shook way too much that made me head&backache. It didnt really shake according to the scenes which I found annoying.The air blew from front which made it cooler for A/C was either very low or not on at all.Dont waste your money for 4DX experience.
I loved the cinema and quality audio and image. Its a nice place to go and watch a movie with your friends. I would say the price is a little high for tickets and food for my liking. But overall a good place :)PD: good for Korean subtitles, if anyone is interested.

As soon as we got there, there was a long line for the food. Literally over 20 people in line. Plus to Kill the Vibe, they had ran out of popcorn and food & it was only 7:40! They Only had drinks, but the line was 30 minutes long. Than 2 Dweebs Were Sitting in our reserve seats & we had to set them straight & made them sit all the way down front. Horrible service in all aspects. Im going to watch the movie again but in a total different theater! Dont disappoint yourself & go to watch your favorite movie at another cinema! CGV just go bankrupt please.

This place is always so clean and has good atmosphere. Love the popcorn here as well. They have various flavors, and all of them are so good.
L movie theater food is super expensive they don’t check for tickets and the 4d is ok

Took my 14year old son to go see a movie here. When ordering some Nachos attendant notice machine was off that keeps the cheese warm, so No Nachos for us. My kid also wanted a pretzel but cheese wasnt warm because the machine was off. This was at 4:50pm So we settled for a drink only. One star given because there were two attendants at the concession stand and they werent paying attention to there machines being ready. Sadly will not visit again when visiting Buena Park, rather go down the street to the other movie theater at the mall. Peace out.

Used to be a great place to go. We would go every time a Marvel movie came out to be able to watch with Korean subtitles. They apparently no longer honor their membership program and dont do discounted Tuesdays (despite what their website says -.-). I realize after the pandemic they are stretched to make a profit, but charging $20/ticket (ScreenX) when we can just watch the movie at home on Disney+ for $30 all together is just bad business. Were sitting in the theater now to watch Black Widow, but we wont be back unless they reinstate the membership program. Korean subtitles are nice, but theyre not worth $50 extra.
Potentially amazing, experience not great yet but a cool looking place with charm. Wandered in, was never asked to show the tickets. If somebody cleaned up, fixed the out of order items and replaced the blown out light bulbs it would be great. Bathrooms dirty. Bar area closed. As for the 4DX, it’s lacking. No 3D glasses, no rain mist or scent, air blowers are weirdly placed and kinda loud in a distracting way. For an amazing 4DX experience I’d say go to Regal theater in N.Hollywood, upscale and cheaper too!
The seats are above average, three bigger theater has shared armrests and seats that only recline a bit.Nice big parking structure for the mall. Plenty of places nearby to eat before or after for your fix. Otherwise standard movie food.The sound system is surprisingly good.

Great theater with lots of different features. I love the 4DX and am so glad I dont have to drive to LA to see this format anymore.They also have amazing snack selections. The theater is very clean and everyone that works there is very courteous. I love the food and beverage selection, and I disagree with the reviews that said the refreshments are priced higher than other theaters. Also, I dont understand why some people based their rating on the Source, overall, as opposed to limiting the review to the theater.
Went to see Top Gun in 4DX,what a crazy ride.I love the experience but I wouldnt recommend it to people with injuries or motion sickness issues.Its in a great Korean mall.lots of food choices in a very modern atmosphere.went back again and loved it...
This is our familys go-to place because my dad loves having Korean subtitle when watching American movies and I love having English subtitles when watching Korean movies. Good choice of movie goods and foods! Great seats where it supports your lower back. Bringing kids? Make sure you pick up a cushion so they can extra boost!
4dx is a killer, must try it!

New, clean, and comfy! The display is large and the image quality is great. The flavored popcorn in the cafe is really excellent! All sorts of restaurants are in precisely the exact same building so its handy!
Place is pretty awesome. Really nice decor. The food is fantastic and lower priced than most. They have a huge selection of food. They have a lot of different types of popcorn. Chocolate, cheese,butter, onion, and Carmel. They also have Korean options, not my first choice but some, like sesame balls, are fantastic.They show Koreans flicks as well as regular movies. Saw Bohemian Rhapsody with Korean subtitles and it didnt interfere with the movie. You can also find some really cool Korean movies, if you have that kind of adventurous spirit.Tuesday is dollar movie day.They serve beer.Its a bit of a culture shock as it 90% Korean,so if your xenophobic you should not come here (unless your Korean).Love this theater.
A bit of a pricey spot to catch a movie. But its worth it! The seats are comfy and well kept. The food and drink bar is a step up from what youll find at other movie theatres. They offer a ton of cool foreign media that you wont be able to catch elsewhere as well as the blockbusters that everyone is familiar with.
We watched avengers 4dx. It was a great experience. I had so much fun. The theater is clean, with excellent surround sound. I loved the different popcorn flavors. Theres plenty of nice restaurants and food court next to the theater. Ill definitely recommend to friends and family.
The facility itself was very nice ... Was lil tricky finishing it within the shopping center. I saw Jurassic World: Dominion and truthfully the seats were borderline violent. Other than that was great.
The Source and its theater is awesome! The auditorium isnt huge, but not small either. The theater also has 4x experience special effects if you want to feel like you are part of the movie. I had 30 minutes til the movie started so we walked around The Source; grab a quick bite before the movie
Closed box office, busted auto ticket machines, tickets are purchased from the concessions which have lines for food. Bathrooms are dirty, The theater it self was nice and the 4dx experience is basically a roller coaster with no lap bar so be warned.I get that covid messed alot of theaters up so upkeep isnt where it should be but in that case management should be on the floor working too not just the 2 kids that do everything themselves.
I only give it 4 stars because the complete Shopping Center is still-under-construction kind of tough to find. as far as the theater experience great five star. Very comfortable seats and plenty of parking in the parking lot once I found it LOL just off a beachThey even do Korean subtitles on the bottom not that I understand them but a great bonus for that community the whole shopping center is catered to that audience
Not much people so I dont know how they are socially distancing people inside but there were 3 parties and we basically had the whole row to ourselves and no one in the row above or below us.Popcorn currently only original and sour cream and onion. Also smallest size is mediumTheater was clean though but you cant access soda machines I am guessing they get it for you

Movie theater is really nice and clean. :) We bought the premium tickets so the seats were very comfortable. They sell Korean munchies! We tried their spicy rice cakes with sausage and they were just OK... they were not very soft... at all. The fries were just ok, too (way over-fried). I did, however, enjoy the mini mandoos. The popcorn is not bad but nothing like Harkins! Overall, a positive movie watching experience.
This incredible movie complex features Orange Countys only 4DX theater. 4DX is amazing. The seats move like Star Tours, and there are weather, lighting and scent effects in the theater. Is it snowing on screen? Then its going to snow in the theater. Is someone riding a horse in the rain? The seats will move to emulate riding on horseback and mist will spray over the theater.Service is great. Theaters are clean and modern. Alcohol is served.Parking is easy. There are plenty of spaces in The Sources large parking structure, which offers surprisingly good views all the way to Downtown LA. Make sure to stop and have a look.Its also worth noting that CGV is a Korean chain and offers Korean films and some showings of American films with Korean subtitles.
The theater is amazing. Welcoming and nice looking place. The best part are the seats creating this environment based movie that has special effects. Nice bar on the side and great offers and benefits most times. Price may seem very expensive but it is worth for movies you know and will enjoy. Yes they have reserved seating.
First time experience, unfortunately not the best. What movie theatre “ runs out of popcorn”? That’s like no water in the desert. Also- $7.50 for a large fountain drink! Shhhheeeesh. And to end the night in the ladies room a total of 4 stalls, 2 out of order and the other 2 out of toilet paper. 🥴
Small, but upscale, trendy theatre. Absolutely perfect for Korean speakers wanting to watch non-Korean and Korean movies. Up-to-date selection of both Korean and non-Korean movies. Great sound and nice seating (reserved seating, recliners, etc). Their Genesis theatre even has lamps and charging stations.
We saw venom in 4DX! Amazing experience. I only want to see movies in 4D now. So fun. The theater itself is a twist of modern and classic 1920s vibe. Located in a amazing mall

The 4Dx experience is an absolute must ... unless you have serious motion sickness—my husband barely made it through Beauty and the Beast!The staff are helpful and friendly, and the interior is beautiful! Check out the ladies’ room whether you have to go or not ... it’s like a palace!They offer Korean-language, movies as well as English, with subtitles in some of the screening rooms.The snack bar is an amazing combination of Western and Asian goodies (try something new!), and the prices won’t make you want to cry.There is tons of parking in the structure off Beach Blvd. and it’s a quick walk to the theatre entrance.
First time here, first time 4D, and wow! what a great experience. Felt like a movie + amusement ride combined. Definitely plan on coming back for more action films. I prob wouldnt wanna spend $26 on a drama flick. This $26 is best spent on a star wars vs driving ms daisy
I absolutely love this movie cinema. The range of food is way outside of what you would expect from a movie theater(cheese sticks, dumpling and fries, quesadillas, flavored popcorn and much more). They also have 4D movies and X-screen movies. In addition to that, they will bring the food to you within the movie theater if youre movie has already started. Im general, it is a must go if you happen to want to watch a movie as it will make the experience many times better.
I love the movie experience here. The theatre is smaller and gives off a cozy vibe. You can purchase your ticket from a kiosk or get in line and get it and also purchase yours snacks at the same time. The theatre is nice and clean and located on the 4th floor. The tickets are cheaper than more well known there. It is assigned seating. Matinee is 7$, you definitely can’t beat that price. On Tuesdays they have special pricing also. All theatre utilized subtitles, and it’s in Korean because this theatre is located in the Source, a Korean plaza
I have been hear to see a 4D movie. A complete feature movie in 4D. It was my first time experiencing the full feature film in 4D. The theatre was large, screen was massive and huge. Nice place to visit if you want a change in how you want to visit the movies. The tickets are slightly in the higher end due to the services that are being provided. A lot of Asian movies play in the theatre. Have nice offers to grab for eventually. A good place to visit with the kids and the family to give them a new experience
The movie theater looks great! I love the way its decorated, looks old timey. The 4DX is awesome but the seats kind of suck because theyre a bit narrow and feel crammed which is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars.
All I can really say is the 4dx is a must. I really recommend it my kids loved it and wanna come back. Watch your drinks and popcorn.

Best movie theater Ive ever been to! Saw a movie in 4D but I enjoyed the theater more than any other Ive been to. Food was unique (sushi and calamari) as well as pretty reasonable prices for concessions. Highly recommended for anyone who doesnt mind the higher priced entry ticket
Real nice theater with Screen X and 4DX. they also have premium seat theater option that has wider and more comfortable chairs. Only con is they only play a few movies at a time as they dont have many. Also great that they play recent popular Korean movies with English subtitle.
The cleanest and freshest looking Cinema i have ever been to! 4DX just makes it that much more awesome!!! They have premium popcorns, but they do run a bit on the pricier end of course. Come looking fresh for an awesome date night!
New, clean and comfortable! The screen is big and the picture quality is good. The flavored popcorn at the cafe is so good! All kind of restaurants are in the same building so its convenient!
Was okay, did a 4dx movie but people started to fight in the theater and disrupted the beginning of the movie. Also the lights in the hall were distracting, wish they covered the door partially with a curtain like other theaters
Went to see the BTS documentary here. Dont like how you need to go in person thirty mins before to get a refund instead of online...but I guess whatever works. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Since its a Korean theater, they mainly have Korean movies playing there. Masks must be worn inside the theater and they disinfect the theater with ghost buster backpacks to keep people safe after every showing.
Nice, relaxing theater in an ever developing complex. We saw a Korean movie and the English subtitles were great. Theater sound felt louder than other theaters, had to cover ears during loud crowd scenes.
This theater is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and courteous, the theater is very clean. The food is always fresh. Its a great spot to hang out with friends, to take a date, or even just to catch a film by yourself. If you havent seen a film in 4DX, youre missing one of the best cinema experiences around. Its worth the upgrade price and then some. The only downside is all of the car commercials that are mixed in with the trailers for upcoming films. Really though, do yourself a favor and check this place out, and try the 4DX experience, its amazing! I seriously take friends and family here to show off 4DX as often as I can.
Spacious parking with many food selections - CGV cinema has some options of Korean movies. After watching some of them I find the stories are very interesting and amusing though I needed to read English subtitles while watching. I recommend this place!

Overall comfortable theater. Comfortable leather seats, but not recliner. 4DX is a gimmick you wont try twice. CGV suffers from a difficult website in the US. 한국말 서비스를 필요하시면 한국말 해도됩니다.
I cant believe they gave us 2 free movie tickets with our annual Knotts Berry Farm passes!!! Its a great movie theater! But they definitely need a separate line just for movie tickets, instead of making you wait in the concessions line!!!
Very impressed with this theatre. Staff nice and friendly, everything is clean and organized. Tuesdays are $8 for the shows and if you sign up for their rewards its $7. Really enjoyed it, we will be going back to watch the 4D shows.

I went to this place a week ago and this is my second time going to this place. I can not forget my experience here in beuna park theatre. It is called The Source and it has four floors of different stores its an outlet and movie theater in one which is amazing to see. All of it is all Korean culture based there especially the theater with the 4XD which is super cool to be part of the experience in. I had no complaint or problems with it. Since also they have outlet I would go to the kpop store to check out what albums they have to offer there I am a big fan of Twice and a dedicated collector. But besides from that check the out the theater yourself you would be amaze to experience it in person and after your done with the movie you check out the outlet stores while your at it to see what they offer or want. Totally recommend to all people who want to upgrade their experience.
They will let you in with an outside drink if you are asian but not latino it seems, as they immediately made me wait outside while other customers still brought in their bobas. Everyone was rude during the movie. The 4dx experience includes no 4d/3d. Its just a flat screen and moving chairs and horrible smelling spray that barely works. The theater worker flips through channels before getting to the movie and then no previews just plays immediately. Theres a light at the trash can in the theater that gets super bright every time someone walks in or out of the movie theater. Worst movie experience and what a lame mall full of nothing really..
Went 5/26 to see Deadpool2 and first time at CGV theatres.Great first impression!Note/Tip: look online first on the website because some showings does have korean subtitles and some dont.Pros: Friendly staff, Attentive Manager, great food. Best theatre seats. Assigned seats.Cons: Not really anything!Parking is easy to get because it belongs to a huge plaza.Food was pretty good! I suggest getting the sour cream popcorn and half caramel (also a plus that you can half your large popcorn incase you want 2 flavors). Pizza is okay but the corn poppers is bomb. Popcorn chicken is not like boba cafe ones, theyre american popcorn chicken but still pretty good and they all come with fries, gyoza, and sauce.Staff is nice and friendly! The manager john is very interactive and hands on with the work and friendly and welcomingOverall this us my first time at a korean theatre and I liked it. Ill be back for sure
Came here for their soft opening. Everything is still very new and workers are still training obviously, but it was a smooth experience for us. The workers were friendly and nice. Glad they have a bar where u can order beer or wine!! I posted pics of the menu so u guys can see the prices.Inside the theater, the seats were sooo nice and comfy (although the color choice is questionable.. does it not look like Crest toothpaste??). It felt like car leather seats. Had no problem watching rogue one in 3D.[TIPS FOR WATCHING IN 4DX:]I watched Edge of Tomorrow in 4DX in Korea and it was the best experience ever!! I never had such a fun experience watching a movie before. The chair was moving, water was sprayed at my face, and It was just amazing.But then I watched Rise of Planet of the Apes in 4DX and it was sooo boring. Not much movement or action other than the occasional breeze..So ---- I would be more selective on which movies I would watch in 4DX based on the type of movie. Tickets are expensive so I would hate to waste money watching a boring movie in 4DX.
Really interesting looking structure. Many food courts with really good food. Theaters are cool with recline seating or regular seating..but one of the theaters actually lets you feel the moment of a movie....Go and experience CGV...you will see!!!

The 4DX rooms are great. New, modern and stylish movie theaters, the only weird thing is the Korean movies and in some movies Korean subtitles, I guess the chain is from there. But well keep an open mind.
Really nice movie theater and interesting choices of flavored popcorn. Some movies have the korean subtitles and some dont, for me not a problem. They have great service and the past 3 times Ive been they havent been crowded which is really nice if you dont like being around slot of people like myself.
Bought a ticket to see a movie online but I found out that I was unable to make it to the movies. I thought it would be a easy fix and gave them a call. But they stated that I would have to be at the theater in person and that there is absolutely nothing they can do to make any refunds or changes to my ticket due to some liability and security reason. I thought this was ridiculous as all the other major theaters allows you to receive refunds and make changes to your tickets online. I live far away and its an extreme inconvenience for me to drive all the way there just to make some changes to my ticket. This theater has terrible customer service and I will not be visiting again.
This was not my first time at the Source, I have been here more times then I know of. I came here with my family even before it opened. It is a predominant Korean base outdoor shopping mall. On the second floor is CGV. They offer very cofotrtable seating, different types of screens like 4dx. Moving chairs and amazing sound. They have different types of popcorn like caramel yes carmel! Cheese, spicy, and butter. You can get a divider and try two different kinds with free refills. Id go Carmel an butter. Its a very nice theater. The crowd again is primarily Korean so most theaters there have koreans subtitles. Some reviewed that it bothered them, I was able to still enjoy the movie. They have free movie nights older Korean movies on weds. They offer alcohol and food as well. Pricing varies so see there website.
One of my favorite theaters easily. Only down side is since its a korean theater if you wanna see something that doesnt have subtitles youre kinda stuck going to the 4dx theater they have. But its still a awesome experience seeing movies in 4dx
I love this theater! Every time we watch a movie, we go to here. They have 4DX, Screen X, premium, and regular screenings. Very cool to experience a movie youre excited to see in either 4DX or Screen X.If you want something to drink they always have cool cups to buy whenever a big movie comes out(ex: Star Wars, The Avengers, etc.)! They also have a good selection of alcoholic drinks.Btw, you have to try their caramel popcorn!! Best caramel popcorn Ive tried!
To be honest, In my opinion, is one of the best local cinemas I ever went, is better than Edwards cinemas or AMC.My boyfriend and I just love it.Specially because you can find different kind of popcorn, since the old fashion popcorn till chocolate flavor.I recommend this place for sure.
Went to see Avatar in 4DX, mists where not working on our side. Wish they wouldve made it right when we brought it up to their attention.
This place is definitely become a cool little spot to come and check out to bring friends, clients, and guest from out of town. This place definitely requires you to come many times so you can try every single place as you can eat everything in one day.
Not bad but not better than other US movie theater.Pop corn is also not really good, sugar cane pop corn in other movie theater is better than caramel pop corn in CGV.Never try the sausage and rice cake package.
4D ... really is just okay. Good to try it at least once to experience it, but it isnt worth the cost just yet. If you are planning to visit on a new movie night plan for a long concessions line wait, usually out the door.
Beautiful theater, most importantly the customer service was absolutely Exquisite!!😊😆 I bought my tickets on Fandango to take my boys to see Cars 3 in DX (Which was an absolute Delight!) My sons loved the DX showing. Were an hour away from Buena Park I only went because they offer the D4 experience! Arrived and was told I was sold tickets to Cars 3 in 2D with Spanish Subtitles!! I was so upset I have a special needs son so he really wasnt feeling going back in the car for another hour drive home! To sum it up the young man who originally helped me was so apologetic and got the manager which didnt hesitate to offer me the next showing of Cars in the DX Which by the way was $25 a ticket but Fandango charged $10. I was tired and so glad I didnt have to argue with anyone the manager was so understanding and seen for herself online that it wasnt my doing, and had no problem giving us seats for the correct showing without charging me more money! Thank you CGV family! Super Clean theater also! I would Definitely recommend this Cinema to everyone!
Definitely a great place to have a fun night!The movie tickets are on the pricer side, but definitely worth it. Some of the movies worth seeing in this theater are action movies and superhero movies. If you were to watch any horror, romance, or comedies at this theater, you might not get your full moneys worth. The online system is a bit tricky to manage, but once you get the hang of it its definitely easier to submit your order online beforehand rather than in the theater. If youre planning on purchasing your tickets at the theater, you might have to wait in line. Get there earlier that way you can give yourself plenty of time before the movie begins. The theater itself doesnt just offer 4dx movies, they also offer the standard movie view, plus Korean subtitles for some movies.Ticket prices cost on average about $25 for 4DX movies. Definitely keep an eye out for an email confirmation to verify the purchase went through. Unfortunately the emails are not guaranteed, so have your reference number for your purchase available for the cashier. If you dont have your reference number you can always provide the employees with the card you used for the purchase so they can print your tickets.If you sign up for their rewards membership you save $1 off each movie, plus you can also accumulate points towards free items or free movie tickets. The concession stand has typical theater pricings, but unlike some theaters they do offer alcohol and you can also order flavored popcorn. Luckily they have plenty of parking at this theater since they have a parking structure.
I love here! Clean and friendly. Morning movie is just around $6-7 and you can get $1 discount if you have their fee membership. Really good deal for morning movie.

4d on Tuesday is 15, not 7. Now it’s 9 dollars with membership. Didnt have to pay at front counter. Actually paid at concessions. Comfy seats and good sound.
We liked the theatre very much but in the future would not like subtitles, I dont know if all the movies have them or just selected ones. Everything was very clean and it wasnt crowded. Overall a pleasant experience.
I went to this theater just for the 4DX experience to watch The Avengers Endgame, the movie was great! Unfortunately, the movie started 10-15 minutes before schedule. Also the AC wasnt working in which it was horrible!!!
It is a very good place to watch a movie.
Not the best experience in 4D if ur bringing food. Will bounce so much around and feel the impact of the action with the moving chairs..which you will lose your appetite.
I think everyone needs to try a 4D movie at least once for the experience. The concessions and food options are pretty good and this place has more of a restaurant / bar vibe when you walk in. It makes going to the theaters more of an experience and who doesnt want a drink while watching a movie ?
Tried ordering a pretzel and they said all they were selling was popcorn only and so I tried ordering an icee and the machine is broken. This was 4pm on a Monday.You would think they have more things available.
Clean, not too busy theater with awesome concession options and really nice theater rooms. Went to watch Aquaman in 4XD, it was like being waterboarded for 3 hours. Lots of fun. Will visit again.
4DX!! My Lord, if you have never tried this theatre with full of effects, you are missing one of the amazing experience you can have in Orange county. 4DX is the high-end theatre which is better than IMAX or 3D. For example, you can feel the movie along with the scene.
Best theater if you hate other theaters that have people chatting or being loud all through the movie. This place revived my hope in going to the theaters, everyone was super respectful.

They advertise wrong prices for the movie and charge more at the movie theater.All pee urinals at mens bathroom was out of ordered.Sell Tickets with popcorn and soda.So that you had to stand at long line.And most ah all service were bad.
Its a small theater but offers most movie titles and foreign flicks. The facility overall is modern and choosing your sit is very good, however the ticketing system needs improvement.
Empty mall.. it doesnt help the overall image of this mall when you see only one side of escalator is working.. bad way of saving money when it hurts more on the perception of the status of business. I hope they do well but it just feels badly planned site.
I had high hopes for the new Cinema in Buena Park but it smelled really weird and added Korean subtitles to Wonder Woman. This was quite unexpected and annoying as you can imagine. With all the options in southern California I will not be back.
Fairly good place hang out and watch movies!!!They also sell beer and soju at the counter to make your waiting time less boring.The mall is newly built so it has maintained the fresh environment including the restrooms lol.

This review is regarding the new Screen X theaters. What a disappointment. I thought the movie will be playing on all 3 walls during the whole movie. Sadly, there were only bits and pieces of the movie where all 3 walls were being used. 80% of the movie is just using the front screen only.NOT worth the money.
I asked a couple of water cups for my two sons after I purchased 3 movie tickets and popcorn & drinks inclusing two water bottles, but I was rejected. She said they dont give water cups even though they have a water button on their fountain machines. She was really rude. When I asked how my little son can drink water, she completely ignored me. Right, it is none of her business.
The 4dx screen is a pretty cool way to watch movies. Beers are bit pricey @$8 a cup.
More varieties of restaurants there now, havent visited all of them yet I heard good things about them. Fun place to visit when we wanna relax. Need to work on more housekeeping though...

I go for the 4DX experience. Its like a feature length Star Tours ride. A bit pricey, but Tuesdays are their discount days. Bring a sweat shirt, it gets cold in the 4DX Cinema
Great place to watch movies (be aware that most Hollywood movie have Korean subtitles). Awesome food. Watching Spider-Man Far from Home on ScreenX was amazing.
How do you go to a theater that has absolutely no food but only a few candies plus the long20 min line for the concussion would have been nice to know, plus the broken ticket kiosk

Its like riding a roller coaster for 3 hours great screen great display theres lights fog smells and lots of extreme motion... If your prone to motion sickness this is not for you
Exterior itself is nice but the theatre screen interior feels outdated even though it wasnt built long ago.Going to try vip seats next time as they have their own sections.

Nice theater but the 4dx had some flaws, the fans blew but too late the didnt account for the time it would take for the air to reach the audience so it took away from the immersion unfortunately.
There was no information open time in front of the door. It was uncomfortable and many people lead to make mistake to enter. So they kick them out. What a CGV customer care~!

The structure of this shopping mall is very complicated and weird, finding any store is like escaping from labyrinth. Parking space is very funny, there are two different locations in same floor not to find the cars easily.
This place has been open for several months. They have plenty of parking space, good restaurants & food court. Not much crowded yet.

2023-09-05 03:47:12Went on July 4th to see Indiana Jones. It was like riding the Disneyland ride and watching the movie at the same time. I was bouncing and giggling through the whole movie. This is an active viewing and not for munching on popcorn, IMO. Parking here is a pain because people are impatient.

Although not as big as some of the CGV movie theaters in Seoul 서울 or Gyeonggi-do 경기도, this has everything you need and Korean movies with English subtitles - which is the most important thing. Its located inside The Source shopping center, which also has plenty of Korean restaurants as well. Very comfortable premium seats. Slightly expensive but worth it. 그것에 관한 모든 것을 정말로 즐겼습니다. 대 한 민 국!

Sat on a seat that was broken sideways. Had to watch a 2 hour movie leaning to left side. Never going back unless repairs are done.

2017-09-05 23:25:32Disclaimer: for those complaining, CGV is a Korean brand theater - NOT an American one. What Regals or AMC is to Americans is what CGV is to Koreans. So of course, there will be Korean movies there and Korean advertisements. Also, about the subs, it should say before you purchase tickets. We bought ours at the electronic kiosk and it read in parenthesis whether it was subtitled or not.I love this place! The overall feel and aesthetic is great! Loved the service as well. Super sleek and modern theater with an old time industrial type feel.As a lover of Korean movies, Im glad a CGV opened here close to me. LA is too far so this is just great! Although for now, their movie options are limited and there are a total of 8 theater rooms, its still great! The only complaint I have is that the actual theater room aesthetic threw me off from the rest of the design of the place but thats it.The entire place is clean and located in a quaint mall that will surely become popular in time. Definitely will come back again ♥

2023-08-13 02:14:36Cute theater. Reasonably priced, easy, free parking, good assortment of concessions, and super clean overall. The seats arent recliners, but theyre comfortable due to their side bolsters and lumbar support. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

2023-07-19 23:02:06It was a nice theater at the Source Mall. However, the staff wasnt aware of its daily show schedule as a crowd was waiting outside the closed main gate after 10AM. We had to show an employee todays schedule, then they hurried to open the theater in 10 min. Wish they were more staffed as there was no soap at the rest room and it wast cleaned up to standard. Popcorns were not ready for the morning crowd as they needed more time to prep the machines.

2023-06-18 13:29:21First time going to this theater or one like it that has a full immersive experience. Having the seats move, fans blowing and strobe lights made for a very interesting and unique way to see movie. I would really recommend for everyone to try it at least once, but if you get motion sickness easily, probably not the best thing for you.

2023-08-05 23:20:56Its okay if you like subtitles sometimes youll get lucky and there wont be none itll be an English speaking movie but if youre Korean then thats what its all about youll have a great time. Just really pay attention to what is advertised and what language its in.
