This was our second time ordering from Cha Thai and it was even better than the last time.My favorite was Pad See Ew with beef. The flavors were fantastic and at medium heat it was perfect.I still enjoyed the Basil Eggplant a great deal. Something about Thai basil is amazing.Tom Kha was excellent. Very creamy and fresh with plenty of chicken, cabbage and tomatoes. The flavors were terrific.Will definitely order food again.

Overall the food was very good. Specially Eggplant Basil. The Pad Thai was very good as well. Mango salad was amazing, we loved it.The potstickers were okay, but really tasted like they were the already frozen kind that were heated. The eggrolls were trouble. They were mushy on the inside, very doughy.Overall I recommend this place and we will definitely go there again however I hope they do a better job with the appetizers.

One of our favorite and regular place we visit for Thai food. The owner is very nice and courteous. The food is great, price is regular.Try their Thai curries. One of the more ordinary dish which I don’t recommend is chicken satay.Had to edit and change the review.. we had Chicken Satay again, and they have definitely improved. Loved the Tom Yum soup too today, it was great too.

Today, I purchased a meal, and to my dismay, I found a foreign object in my pineapple fried rice. Fortunately, I noticed it before consuming it. I am quite upset about this incident

Pad thai and drunken noodles were very good. I liked their Basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice. We asked for soft tofu instead of fried one in fried rice dishes. They made sure we got that. Quality was pretty good.

Friendly, personable and nice but the food was terrible and that was evident by the empty restaurant at lunchtime.I was not asked which spice level I wanted so I assumed it would be medium: wrong. It was so mild and tasted like oil with no flavor. Really disappointed. Would have loved to save the leftovers for dinner but it wasn’t good enough.Easy parking in the large lot.

The food came out piping hot and very flavorful. We had crispy calamari, angel crispy shrimps, basil-pad kra pow thai spicy with chicken and pad thai with shrimp and chicken. A nice hidden gem in San Ramon

Waiter got no clue how to serve customers. Food is very average, dont expect too much from this place. Ordered medium grilled steak, got well-done with minimal caramelization. The manager handled it professionally and saved one star from the review.

Food tasted good, we ordered the eggplant basil & garlic pepper stir fry shrimp . My only complaint is the amount of shrimp wasn’t enough especially when you add $3 extra . Other than that i would eat here again . The lady who served us was great& checked on us couple of times asking if we need anything.

Tried the Pad Thai a couple days ago - good portion size and balanced seasoning, a good value. Today, I tried the basil eggplant with beef - very tasty, but I’ll order chicken or shrimp next time (beef a bit tough). The green curry with chicken was well-balanced, the perfect comfort food. Note that you can select the level of spiciness for every dish. The order was freshly made and ready every time I ordered through DoorDash. I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes!7/3/21 Update: best dishes - Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodles, Eggplant Basil, Green Curry. Not bad - spring roll, banana sweet rice, basil pad kra pow.

It was ok, much better Thai in the area. The chicken and pork in our entrees were really dry. I have to admit that dry/overcooked meats in a dish are a pet peeve of mine and therefore I would not return.

Nam helped me when I was here! I was hungry but didn’t know what to get but she helped me decide! Very friendly and nice! Restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe to it. Got Pad Thai and Fresh Rolls! So good! I definitely recommend this place to everyone in the area.

Very happy with the yellow and panang curry. Friendly service. Price is a touch high for lunch, but the quality and amount of food makes up for it. Recommend a 1/2 price & portion lunch menu! Thanks for the meal!

Best Thai food EVER! Mani is always so attentive and precise. She knows our order perfectly and it never fails to disappoint us. The portions are very generous. We usually order the cashew nut delight with egg fried rice and eggplant basil with brown rice. The pad Thai is also very good. We only go here for Thai food! Highly recommend them!

The food was okay, but my review is based on the fact that they added an unauthorized tip. Watch out if you are going to eat here. The staff seems nice but keep a copy of your receipt and double-check your credit card transaction a few days later.

Ordered a take out for the first time seeing the good reviews but was disappointed! First they forgot to give the Thai iced teas that I ordered. And asked to come next time to get them. Second, the food was not good. Not an authentic Thai place. The red curry had no taste! Would not recommend this place.

Loved the spring rolls in fresh wraps. Friend ordered shrimp soup and moved it. The portions was pretty big. I had Thai red curry and it was great as well. The server forgot one of our orders and later messed up with the cheque receipts. He was probably just having a bad day otherwise the place is good. Highly recommend to give it a try.

Went for lunch with a friend. Awesome location, right off the freeway. Quite roomy with lots of natural light. Friendly staff - advised us on portions and spice selection. My Shrimp Green Curry was tasty and so was the brown rice and Thai tea. Heard they have new management. Will definitely go again.

Very sad to be moving away from my favorite Thai restaurant. Their Thai beef salad is addicting and has converted quite a few people on its own. The staff is wonderful and very nice. Definitely stop by if in town.

Cha Thai restaurant I was actually in the shopping center for a different reason and had already eaten so I didnt get a chance to eat here but if I were to be hungry I would have eaten here first. Cuz I love Thai food and this looks like a great Thai food restaurant thats why I give it five stars without even trying it plus I read some of the other reviews from the people that review places. Are the best people to get your reviews from. And if you like the reviews always give him a thumbs-up thats always at 4. They were very nice they let me in to take some pictures Its A very upscale place if I lived in that area Im sure this would be one of my favorite places.

Found a hidden gem in San Ramon. Quiet, family run restaurant with tasty Thai food. We enjoyed the Spring rolls, pad Thai, kra prow, mango salad, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious, presented well, and with excellent service. We will be back soon!

Food is delicious, very fresh-i ordered the red curry chicken soup, and there were tiny pieces of lemongrass and ginger in the broth. Perfectly cooked veggies in my partners pad see ew-no precubed mushy stuff!!Service is a little slow, but we were there mid-afternoon and they had a skeleton crew staff on.

Disappointing. Pad thai noodles were all stuck together and not the thicker noodles that expected but more like vermicelli. Sauce tasted like ketchup. Thai basil chicken, wheres the chicken? Sparse amounts of it. Catfish dish was one filet of catfish with carrots and red bell peppers . Overall, unimaginative that food.We eat thai food, Andaman, Thai Basil, Simalan, a lot and this restaurant is by far the worst.
