Pretty good food. Especially the Aslam BBQ chicken with naan. I also liked the chicken hakka noodle. The only thing I was rather disappointed by were the chicken momos, I wouldve ordered the veggie momos the next time

The food was not authentic. Their khatta metha flavor of pani-puri is good. Pineapple pani puri flavor tasted like syrup. Chole bhature were decent enough. Dahi puri had less chutneys.
Great place for pani puri and chaat. ~10$ for 8 pani puri with 5 different flavors. Loved all the flavors!Less variety of dishes/chaat yet and comparatively expensive. Would be nice if they had combos or more options.For owners, it would be great if you can upload the latest menu photo in google! Would help many.
We tried aslam chicken, chole bhatura and dahi puri. Chole bhatura is the best I’ve had in Bay Area. Dahi was ok, nothing great. Aslam was disappointing for me, it was too creamy but not juicy.
We got the Aslam chicken and the Paani puri. Aslam chicken was very delicious. The chicken was soft and flavorful. It is absolutely a must-try.As for the paani puris, you get to chose from 5 different flavors. We tried the khatta meeta, Kaala khatta and the mint flavors. They were pretty good as well.

We ordered the chole bhature and the Aslam bbq chicken. Impossible to pick which we liked more. Service was fantastic too. We are already planning what to order on our next visit.
If your main preference is food then you can visit this place. We ordered paneer tikka masala curry with garlic naan and rumali roti. The paneer was very soft and gravy was amazing! There wasn’t any food color or thing that was the best part. Garlic naan and rumali roti was also very very soft and tasty. Food took little time to arrive and interiors are so so. But all stars for the amazing food
Food served is halal.We tried Aslam BBQ chicken, honey chili potatoes and schezwan triple fried rice. All the food was delicious, the fried rice was on the spicier side but other than that we loved everything we ordered. The ambience of the restaurant is Indian street style, catchy and vibrant. I had a wonderful evening here with my family.
Best experience I had in many years. This place gives you a very good desi vibe through their decorations and unique designs in the wall. The variety of dishes in the menu and finger licking taste, I couldnt explain more of it. If you are in the bay area and havent been there, you are missing out a lot. Chandni chowk food truck in Fremont is my favorite place for chhole kulche but restaurant disappointed me.I ordered chhole bhature and tandoori paneer kebabChhole bhature: got 2 bhaturas, 1st bhatura was crispy like taco and another bhatura was soft so no consistency. Chhole at food truck has thick gravy but at restaurant it was liquid like misal.Tandoori Paneer kebab: awesome 👏 good taste. 10 on 10.
Went here for lunch after having tried their food truck multiple times. We ordered dahi puri and chicken chilly balls for appetizer. Dahi puri had way too much dahi which overpowered the taste and chicken chilly balls just felt like momos fried in shape of balls. Stuffing was not that great. For mains we had chole kulche and Aslam chicken. Chole kulche tasted good but aslam chicken was not upto the mark. Chicken was tender but taste of gravy was underwhelming. There was too much yogurt in the gravy. Overall didnt like the restaurant. Would stick to the food truck next time.

Great food! They have an extended menu here with non veg options. The chicken curry is a must try- tastes like a homemade curry. The owners are also very tentative and make sure you’re enjoying ur food. If you like the Fremont location but are looking for more seating and some more food options, try this location!
A must-try Indian meal in the city. Both the new restaurant in Santa Clara and the Food Truck in Fremont were the places I tried. I ate pani puri, it was so delicious. I also had their aslam chicken, kulcha naan, and they recently introduced aloo tikka chat, and it was delicious. Proceed to indulge in Indian cuisine if you guys want to eat.
We came here for chikkar choley. Ordered kulchey choley and bhaturey choley. Instead of kulchey they gave us deep fried peta bread. Choley had so much oil it was like i am drinking cooking oil.Dahi puri sev puri was flavorless. This is definitely not chandni chowk.Feels like i drank a cup of oil.Service was good. Had the chole bhature and Gobi Manchurian dry! Great pinde chole - the flavor and the texture was spot on.The bhature was a little tough and chewy however .The Gobi Manchurian was great too!Would come back again . Service and ambience were fantastic as well.
We have been here before and the Chhole bhature at the restaurant have dropped their standards in just a month. The chhole were watery the bhature were oily. The aloo tikkis in the aloo tikki chaat were not cooked properly. We have high hopes from this place because we love the food at the Fremont location.

Very terrible service. The staff and management doesn’t know how to treat customers as I addressed problems the staff said its new guy who caused problems. If you can’t train your staff then don’t keep them in the front also customer service is the key to the business. The guy on the counter also laughed on the complaint. I have reported to BBB too. Overall don’t recommend.

Presentation wise Aslam chicken looked just like the one served at Jama masjid, Delhi. It also tasted good.Aloo tikki chaat had great flavors but the tikki itself was a bit undercooked.The pani puri was really nice.

Bun maska gives you a nostalgic treat to your taste buds along when paired with the chai. The aslam bbq chicken was just fantastic. Never have had chicken so soft and tender with a perfect blend of spices. Must have dish here 5/5. The triple fried rice is also very close and so are chole kulche. The kulches are stuffed and generous. The ambience is also well thought.

2024-03-14 20:14:16I have been to Chandi Chowk truck in Fremont, the restaurant doesnt quite match the vibe of the truck because it is outside and standing by fireplace but the restaurant is no way bad. The food is excellent and has more options like triple schezwan rice, Manchurian gravy, other curries. Live pani puri is same as truck. The servers were awesome too, funny and very helpful.

So was thrilled when they opened up this place a little bit closer to where Im at.Went for a rainy day pickup.The ambiance here is true to the theme.The person at the register was super friendly. I was admiring the selection on snacks and drinks they had up front, so he offered a bag of potato chips (wafers) on the house :DAlso saw me staring at the live pani puri station and had me taste all the flavors of pani they had.The food:1. Chole Bhature:I believe these were pindi style. The chole was flavorful and the bhature was packed in a separate container (not foil) which made it retain its texture.2. Chicken Chowmein:Tasty with ample amount of chicken which was tender. My kid loved it.3. Aslam Chicken:One of the best chicken dishes I have had in the bay area. The chicken was juicy and creamy which paired perfectly with the rumaali roti (which is pretty rare to get in the bay area). I wish they had an option to buy the rumaali roti a-la-carte as well.Will definitely be back here for more food and the live pani puri.

The dark color (unlike tomato based red and yellow in other places) itself shows how authentic they could be. With the first bite I could taste hint of anardana and black cardamom. I must they don’t use canned chickpeas. The chhole were perfectly cooked. Bhature came fresh piping hot. They didn’t hold oil. Truly awesome taste.They are newly opened in South Bay. I my next trip I will try new item.5 stars taste and 5 stars decor.

I tried Islam chicken with rumali roti in santa Clara which was mouthwatering, extremely Delicious! so soft chicken just melts in your mouth even before you bite it, it just melts there leaving the juice and Taste behind. Staffs are too humble and extremely polite.Satisfaction in all the area is Guaranteed
