We came here on s Sunday evening. Food was ok but not very impressed by their meat. Tofu soup was amazing. Ice-cream was just okay... usually very crowded during night time.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Eat all you can is a very good option. Also the waiting Line is not too much we not had to wait for 10 minutes and it was Sunday!
The price did went up from the last time I went. The price was $25 per person and now its $30. I think the price hike is fair because the quality is good. Meats and side dishes are really good. The wait staff are slower than other KBBQ places but they are pretty friendly. This place is probably my 3rd reccomend KBBQ place in OC.
Vero different experience. You cook your own food. They give you an egg thing and an ice cream cone with your meal. Two different options of food. Good dinner overall.
Celebrated my friends birthday here and the food was GREAT. Couldnt believe how good it was and the price made everything even better. All you can eat food plus u get free ice cream haha. Cant beat that. Will definitely be coming back soon!.
Not a bad selection of meats, but Ive noticed that their meats had way more fat on it than it used to. Marinade is delicious, wished that they had more side bon chons. Our server was taking forever to come by to change out our grill. It started to burn, get smokey and my hair smelled like char.
Mixed reviews from our dinner here. The short rib was really good but bulgogi tasted oldish. I’d give their sides a 3/5. The biggest factor against this place though was that they have no air conditioning!
My friend brought me here as a surprise birthday dinner and they were very nice and awesome. The food and soju was delicious and filling. I will definitely come back!

We love Korean BBQ and foods. We decided to try this place. Their meat selection is very limited, but we didnt mind moving forward to order. The worse situation was that the grill went up in heavy smokes and our eyes were burning. We request to change to a different table, but the owner/manager ignored our request; they keep pouring ice into the hot grill to calm the smokes and keep saying it will works. Apparently, we were eating and inhaled carbon dioxide at the same time. We couldnt continue our dinner and had to leave. Poor management, mediocre foods and high costs. We definitely will never return to this place again.
Hardworking staff, good side dishes, disappointing protein.Highly recommend ordering half portions to start off with so you get used to how big they are. I have to say, the taste of the meat here were just OK. Many other Korean BBQs have more flavorful meat (through marinating or providing a more vibrant sauce/dip). Its a little sad when I find the little side dishes much more compelling in terms of taste.But of course the prices here are very fair, and the service staff worked very hard, providing grill changes every 15 minutes or so.Overall, a good but not great experience.

The best flavor of korrean BBQ you will ever have and the Bob Barker would say the price is right. I enjoy this place ever so often but make sure you come here to eat serious because if you come with a small apptite this place will knock you around with food like mike Tyson did in his prime. And once you are all finish dont forget to stand in line for some self serve ice cream it was goes down really good after stuffing.

The food was pretty good and they have the best service of any AYCE Korean bbq around here. Since COVID they changed their prices and limited their meat options quite a bit. Personally I think the quality here is better than most and they stock up on thrifty ice cream.
This is the BEST Korean BBQ Ive EVER HAD. I have been coming here for over 10 years. I never wrote a review because this place doesnt need one to do well and its already too busy. Ive moved further away, but I still ONY come here when friends or family want Korean BBQ. Its worth the drive!!!
Ive eaten here for years. Its a bit on the older side and could use a remodel. But overall the service is on point compared to most places. I had a new server I have seen yesterday by the name of yojhann. He had exceptional service. Most servers are either there to do their job, some put on a fake smile. But he truely had great customer service. He smiled. He said thank you, hed say Ill be right back, and let us know that our order is almost out, etc. He hustled.

Our family loves this place, both kids and adults alike! We always take family and friends visiting from out of town! The food is delicious, the servers (Shout out to Jesus) are friendly and nice, and the overall experience is great, whether its your first or 10th time! Highly recommend you try them! They have adult and kids pricing, all you can eat meat and sides, with one serving of soup and even ice cream at the end!
2023 Update: the price per person is now $30 yet I still feel like Im paying for the old price services. I want to support local BBQ spot but really dont necessarily think what Im paying for is worth it. Its more 3.5 stars now. Regardless, theyre sti crowded though so I dont think this review would make any difference.Limited menu with no steaks but the meat quality is pretty decent, I only like brisket so for $18.99 its great, not so busy on weekdays.

Came here tonight for dinner with 2 buddies. Guys Night Out. Much needed time out. We went in exactly at 5pm. Food Quality was very good. Besides us, there were 2 other parties already in there eating. While we were eating and talking, more parties started to show up. By the time it was 6:45, this place was packed. We started to get little nervous (due to rise in Delta Variant Virus), paid, and left. Service was great.
Good all you can eat Korean BBQ place. Price is not too high and not too low but worth it once in awhile. We mostly ordered briskets and the quality of the meat is good.The service was excellent. We had a main server who was nice and attentive but we even had other servers check on our table asking if we needed anything else.The soup each person that gets to order can take a long time if restaurant is busy but not a huge problem because you are eating as soon as the meat comes out. So, you can start eating within 5 to 10 minutes from the moment you get seated.They have a good variety of side dishes and all taste pretty good.One minor issue I have is the scoop your own ice cream. It can get messy if people arent careful. Hands can end up sticky.Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

All you can eat Korean BBQ with Ice Cream for dessert. Ive never had a bad experience with Cham Soot Gol of all the years Ive been here. The staff is great, friendly and quick to bringing you your orders. I highly recommend it over other Kbbq places. Cant wait to come back!
I wish I could give a better rating than 2 stars. The meat was good but the assortments of banchan were limited. The restaurant needs a good clean up from the smokes and greases accumulated. A lot of dust collected along with the grease is very unpleasant to see and to eat.
This place is awesome. The bulgogi is delicious, the brisket is awesome, the staff was on point with refills and grill changes and it was great value as well. If you dont mind cooking your own food and want a different kind of experience, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Food was only so-so. We ordered 2 sets of beef tongue...first was really good but the second set was extremely chewy. It even looked different. Consistency was lacking. There are other Korean AYCE places that are much better in the Garden Grove area. A bit over priced for the quality of food.
I was my first time there and its amazing! To me the spicy pork belly is the best. Not a very large selection but what they do have is real good
Hands down amazing!!. Best Spicy Pork 😋. I always like to go as soon as they open on a Sunday, as it is easy to walk in and be seated. At other times the wait can be long. Ive waited up to a couple hours before and it sucks as their is not much around but I promise you the wait is worth it. Great price and selection. Fast and friendly service.

Overall good variety of food. Customer service was a 4 star because they would forget we had placed an order and had us waiting. Also they would hardly come to our table we would literally have to stop someone passing by to ask for what we needed whether it was more meat, drinks, or sides.
This place was pretty cool. I have never been to a Korean BBQ restaurant before and I was pleasantly surprised. I like that we cook the meat ourselves! It also came with all you can eat sides, including kimchee. It was all authentic and delicious. I will warn you, you will leave smelling like the food.
I came here on a recommendation of a friend and it was DELICIOUS. Pretty good price for that much food too! They have a bunch of yummy meats, plus side dishes included (and the soup is good). The ice cream bar at the end was not very clean... but it was yummy ;)Tip: If your grill gets too sticky with charred sauce, you can request they change it out.
Editing: Restaurant was overwhelmed which is understandable but after being asked to wait 30 minutes it ended up being an hour wait to be seated. We initially got our food but then after we asked for drinks and more meat we waited 30 minutes and the waiter never returned. We pressed the service button and still no response. We ended up leaving, we let the host know why we were paying at the front instead of waiting for our check as we had already waited 30+ minutes and he had nothing to say. Changing from 5 stars to 1.
Great KBBQ Place, but some things to note -AYCE ice cream from tubs, if you go too late might be out of ice cream.(Relatively) Small menu, missing a few things but generally will have it all. (I missed spicy brisket, and the types of belly cuts were only unseasoned rather than marinated).Standard sides, good service - parties of 6 (may) be at a slightly smaller table, but you can fit easily
Our group of guys has been eating here pretty steadily for the last couple of years, and the quality of our visits has always been consistently good. Cham Sut Gol brings plenty of sides, generous portions, and an ever present staff keeping the food going.On the down side, the wait time back ups like clockwork, and it can get a bit breezy in the restaurant. Neither of these do much to dent how consistently good the food is. Show up with plenty of time, and youll leave happy.
Prices has gone up for sure but the food was so good, I believe we got at least 5 orders of meats and that fill us up good for the two of us. Social distance is followed. Overall great experience, great atmosphere will come back for sure.
Food here was great. It wasnt as crowded as Star BBQ nearby which has a 1.5 hour wait compared to 20 min. Im not mad at the $23 price since it included beef tongue, steak and octopus (a new one for me). Im kinda sad they only allow you to get one serving of the tofu soup or egg bowl, but its not a big deal when you can eat all the meats you want. I love that the sides are all you can eat as well. The ice cream was so so, but at least there are several flavors to choose from compared to 2.
Service was outstanding for an AYCE where youre usually trying to tackle someone for attention. They were constantly checking in on us and bringing more items that we requested. The price point at $18.50 was perfect for the variety and selection. We will definitely be coming back when were in the area. My wife is usually not one to go for the pork belly but here the thinly sliced pork belly was a huge hit with everyone at our table, including my wife who asked for a second plate.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. I came here with my service dog and they were extremely kind. Made sure I had space for her and checked up on us frequently.KBBQ is hard to ruin, so of course the food was great. They have plenty of options to choose from and the price is pretty normal for what youre getting.They have plenty of parking spots and followed all the Covid safety protocols.Just make sure you remember youre going to smell like meat when you leave.
There is a reason why this place is always packed. The meat. There are two menus of meat from which to choose from and both offer yummy options. The meat is pretty decent quality for the amount (20 -30) aperson for the price you pay.Two negatives. Because the place is packed you do have to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Which is difficult to do due to the smells of grilled meats wafting from the restaurant. And secondly the service can tend to be slow. Which can be frustrating because their potato salad is so damn good.All in all, for the price you pay you are getting a stand up deal. I would come here again and enjoy the smorgasbord of meat and toppings.

This was my first time having Korean bbq. We were being treated by a work friend so we had the whole back patio area to ourselves. This is not a huge restaurant so if youre going with a large group, just know that the seating can be a bit awkward and tight. The food however was very good! Everything was fresh and the side dishes were all yummy. The staff here are quite friendly and accommodating, I have to hand it to them cause it must not have been easy serving such a large party, but they did an awesome job!The only thing that was off putting was when I asked for a to-go box, the woman serving us basically just laughed in my face and walked away, I was low key offended. It was later explained to me that youre not supposed to take food with you after Korean bbq, which is surprising because it seems A LOT of food just ends up being wasted. Luckily I spotted a roll of tin foil and managed to wrap up the leftover meat we had cooked. But I would have appreciated a simple explanation opposed being laughed at.
For what is charged for the AYCE option, the choices do not match up to other AYCE Korean BBQ that Ive had. It was kinda ok, but the pork jowl saved the meal from being truly mediocre

They give you a mountain of brisket/beef belly/beef tongue so if youre ordering those order half portion or something. Plus they are frozen. The quality of the meat overall is meh and the meat selection is meh for $28 all you can eat
A little bit better than Gen BBQ. However, the restroom was too dirty. I wish they cleaned the floor so I did not trip. All the staffs were really nice and helpful, and I love the quality of the meat even though it was marinated a little bit too sweet. Definitely I will come back to this restaurant. 🤓🤓🤓
Brisket, brisket, brisket! I came here with my friends to eat some Korean BBQ. Its all you can eat and we ordered from combo A which is $19.99. It includes a few meats, soup, and ice cream. The restaurant is located within a shopping center and it has their own parking lot. The servers we had were attentive and kept checking in on us if we wanted more meats or side dishes. We ordered brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi. I ordered the tofu soup which wasnt too spicy and it was hot, so it was good. You have to cook the meats and the grill can be changed if you ask the servers to get you a clean grill. Overall, the service was nice and the food was delicious.
Food is always great. The wait for a table is hit or miss. There will either be no line (rarely) or you can wait upto an hour and a half to get seated. The last few times Ive been here, the place could use some serious cleaning. The floors are extremely greasy, as in you dont even have to pick up your feet and you can literally slide all the way to your table. The service though is usually excellent just like their food.

Really nice service that checks up on you often enough, but when things get busy they have a nice button on every table that calls a server to you just in case. The meats selection have a good variation. Drinks are also pretty fair, but there are only free refills on water. Their side plate selection if also good in variety from garlic cloves in a oil bath to the fish cake it’s all nice.This is definitely worth a try for family, friends, or a date. Once you go you’ll know what’s to like about ya. Also they have ice cream you can self serve Dyer you finished or before.
First of all lets just talk about how un sanitary the station they put us in an old greasy, roo. After serving a family in the front of their serving area. They instead put us in the back where it smelt heavily of fish and let me not mention the brown spots on the wall. Hopefully they will sit you inside their dining area and youll have a nice view.
We decided to veer off the well traversed path, and chose Korean food for a change of pace. So we Yelped for the highest rated establishments for this type of food, and of course it had to be Garden Grove, for it is a well known fact that there are plenty of Korean places in Korean Town. Initially we chose another place, but lo and behold, they were close on Mondays (which clearly proved to me that paying closer attention to details as such is important). With no plan B, we settled for the closest BBQ Korean to the empty parking lot we found ourselves in, and that also had a 4 Star as a minimum, and that became this place.Time was around 6PM and we were seated promptly. This place was All You Can Eat, but they bring your choices to the table, at a rate of $18.99 per person. We chose Beef, Pork and Chicken for the first round, plus they had already set up small sides typical for Korean BBQ. 4 of us also got soup, 3 to choose from, and sodas we asked for were $1 a can, which we all agreed was a great little deal.Meats all tasted the same to us, not the leanest cuts, and a fair share of unwanted, or better still, un chewable parts. Sides were a discovery of sorts, in the variety presented, many on the sweet side, including their own version of a potato salad. Yes, you can eat till you burst, if so desired, but overall quality of meats, and taste left a little to be desired. Service not too far away, with the male staff appearing to be a little nicer than the female staff?Ice Cream, indeed, very refreshing and quite the addition for how satisfying it was, green tea worth several trips if so desired. Easy to digest, average meats, unkempt restrooms, it had its moments, but probably will not be returning any time soon for more. Final bill with gratuity a little over $100 for our party of four. 3 Stars.

This is our OG kbbq spot! Weve been going here since we were younger. Never fails. Staff is really nice and food is never disappointing! We went out to 4 different kbbq places with 1.5 hour wait close to closing time and our last place is to go here cause its a bit of a drive from home. Got here with only 15 minute wait to get our table... also, they have the eggpot! Some places dont have it. This is just the place to be.
Love this place. It is always consistent with food and service. Self serve ice cream is a really nice touch. The staff and food is great. Not the top of the line cuts and specialties but very solid and very dependable.

Best Korean BBQ I have ever been to. All you can eat of the fresh meats of your choice. The sides are tasty. Lots of asian beers and drinks to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff. You cant go wrong here.

The food was very good and waiters were general quite attentive. Only down side was either because of multipul waiters or something in back of house, several of our order requests were lost/forgotten. We ended up sitting for a while waiting on our second portion of meat having told 2 of the 3 waiters we and just put the order of meat in so we wouldnt accidently get 2 huge orders coming out to us. On the 4th com back we finally ordered and were told this was out last call (it was around 9:15) so we ended up having to double up anyway
I used to come here all the time and it was great, but after a few visits to a different kbbq places, I realized just how small the menu is when I came back. Me and my friends also learned that they moved our favorite dish to a higher priced menu. The all you can eat ice cream is nice, though the flavors are not the typical ones. I didnt count it against them as some people like that kind of thing. If I come back again itll only be for that kalbi, which I believe is worth the higher price.
Very nice Korean BBQ, havent had this nice food for more than 8 months after left my place. Cuz one of our friends is Muslim and she is also love the beef so much. And the ice cream is great too

Food is excellent... service was oddly slow given that we were a party of about 16, coming at a time when we were pretty much the only non-employees in the place. Id still come back - the food was awesome, and the price looked totally reasonable - but I might be hesitant to stay if it looked super busy...edit: having now been to Gen Korean BBQ, Im downgrading this to a 4, on account of Gen was better in every way (except that this place had good ice cream and Gen didnt. But you dont come to a bbq place for ice cream.)
Honestly, it was ok. With limited options for dining on site now a days it was not bad. Service was good. Food was ok. Atmosphere was ok. Had a good old time since we havent been out for a while. At 24.95 a person i would have liked a bigger option for AYCE menu but it least they have Thrifty ice cream AYCE too. 😉

They run a lunch special if you come early on Friday! So you get an even greater deal on the already great price! Menu is still the same as well. So no exclusion. They immediately bring out an assortment of banchan which is all really good I could fill up on that alone. The brisket and the spicy pork are my top favorite but the other meat choices are good too. And to finish it all off you can serve yourself some ice cream. Perfect way to end your meaty meal.
Wasnt sure what to expect, as a friend suggested it.I was specifically looking for a Korean restaurant that served Kim Chee ... it doesnt show on their menu, but theyll bring it out as a side dish for the All-You-Can-Eat meal. BUT you have to ask for it as a side dish ... otherwise you might be told they dont have Kim Chee - like they did us.For the most part, the service was great. And the cleanliness of the restaurant was very clean. Seems to be a lot of locals and regulars.We both ordered the All-You-Can-Eat meal, which seemed to be the best selection. Overall, the meat was great - some of the beef was super fatty, like other reviews said. It was super tasty, lots of different: meats, sauces, sides and not to mention they have ice-cream as part of All-You-Can-Eat!The best time to go - as we noticed - is before 5pm. It starts to get crowded any later than that.IF YOU HAVENT BEEN HERE BEFORE, TELL THE SERVER AND ASK HIM/HER TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING! (i.e. we didnt realize there was a button you needed to push if we needed anything)

Fun grilling a variety of meats and seafood at the table with center grill. Ask for grill change, if you cook a lot of meats You get a choice of $19 or $26, all-you-can eat. Definitely enjoyed the short ribs and thrifty ice cream, four selections. The shrimp comes whole. I wish they supplied better cutlery versus scissors and tongs.
Kbbq in socal is so much cheaper than in the Bay Area!! Dinner was $20 for all you can eat!!! And yes! I was stuffed!!! And more!! The meat is delicious! Being from Iowa this was my first experience with Korean barbeque. It was so good. I would go again. It is all you can eat and my party took that too heart. Tried to have some of everything. It was all good.
My all time favorite place to go for KBBQ. Service is always really nice and quick too. Theyre always on top of things when it comes to meat, water, rice paper, sides, etc. The grill cooks quickly too so theres more food to enjoy and not much time waiting around. For the times of waiting though theres free ice cream! Had a great time there the other day when my friends and I decided last minute to eat KBBQ! Would always recommend!
The food was good, the service was terrible (not a deal breaker), no AC (also not a deal breaker), but the whole experience was ruined when a large cockroach crawled up my friend’s leg as we sat at our table. He shook it off, lost track of it, and it later found its way across his wife’s foot. He was finally able to kill it and we flagged down an employee who quickly cleaned it up with a napkin and never mentioned it again. The ice cream is a bunch of open containers with a scooper sitting in cloudy water that’s been handed by probably hundreds of people so I doubt it’s very clean. I’m sorry to say that we won’t be back due to the unsanitary conditions.

The only thing that saved from a 3-star was that the waitress was on point and the food was good. They didnt even charge for the leftover. Portions are large when you order, not like other places.The bathroom was nasty! They had newspaper down to clean a flood. The AYCE ice cream can be a little more sanitary. Bowls of ice water used to clean scoopers and anyone can touch the cones. Probably wont go back too much just because sanitary reasons. Looked into the kitchen and the floor was all wet in there too! YUCK!
Friendly staff, with good selection of meats, and quality. The included ice cream for dessert or whenever is a welcome sweet reprieve to the savory bbq. Excellent side dishes as well!
Its okay, typical Korean BBQ kind of on the pricy side. They had all the sides of most k BBQ places but the meat selection was limited they obviously had the most popular meats.
Wife had a craving for KBBQ at noon on a Sunday, but our usual place (STAR BBQ) doesnt open until 4pm. So we gave this place a chance due to the review. Immediately we regreted it.(1) Food: limited on selections. Thought the higher price B would give more of the soup but it only give 1 per person. Why is this when so many do unlimited all you can eat for same price? The ice cream situation is simply disgusting and unhealthy. 4 buckets of frozen tough ice cream, 2 scooper, and a rinse bowl. Saw peoples knuckles digging in since it is tough. Then the mixing in the rinse bowl. One of the ice cream has nuts, so now they all do.(2) Service: rules, attitude, and delay. Two family on 2 separate table on 2 separate checks, but why do we have to order the same menu? Thats ridiculous? Even an AYCE sushi place will let you mix entry with AYCE at the same table. Service is slow. When they do stop by, they dont care to listen, then forget to bring things.(3) Environment: Dirty. Aside from the disgusting ice cream mentioned above and the slow service, the table we sat had water/grease dripping from underneath? Pool of this soaks our sandles. Dirtiest restroom ever: both the mens toilet seat broken and siding. Door wont close. Faucet lifts up from table whenever you turn it on. Graffiti everywhere.Why is this place so bad? Wont be back until they fix all these.
Poor service. very smokey. my eyes hurt after. they have free ice cream that is just in tubs in a freezer that everyone sticks their hands into. so gross. 30 bucks after everything is totally ridiculous for the quality of food and service you get. save your money save your time and eat at a proper restaurant.
The newly renovated restaurant looks great and the vibe is very relaxed and modern. Definitely a great improvement.
What is there more to know then AYCE (All You Can Eat) Korean BBQ for $16.99?! Unlike Buena Park, this location doesnt offer the $19.99 version, but its all good!Cham Sut Gol is spacious (less smoky, less smelly) where you can seat large parties. Unfortunately, they absolutely dont take reservation even if you have a party of 20. Luckily, we made it work by getting there by 5:30pm. It can get quite busy!!! I would recommend requesting the back room where theres an extra open door, which equals more ventilation! Plus, theres plenty of tables where you can sit close enough and chit chat for a large party.All you can eat gets you:Sliced Pork BellyThin Sliced Beef BrisketMarinated Spicy PorkBulgogiMarinated ChickenPork ChopW/ Egg Pot or Bean Paste Soup or Tofu SoupTheres also plenty of ice cream you can scoop out at the end of the meal! Youll be full and satisfied with this place, plus its pretty clean here!The reason for my 5-star is for their excellent service!!! My grill was changed probably 5x without even one request and the staff continuously came back to check on our meats, side dishes, and drinks during my meal! My glass was never empty. Great food! Theyve been here forever and will be here for another forever. My local go to Korean bbq spot. Always friendly staff, the meats keep coming and they got the drinky drinkies too. Either come way early or come after the rush as the peak dinning hours can make the lines pretty long
My son has disabilities, we had to ask the host 3 times to give us table that has no other people seated next to us on the same table. The setting doesnt meet the ADA( I dont think they even know or care what ADA stands for). Tables are too closely situated. And Is Korean BBQ, you tried one you tried all, nothing special! Not very kind servers!!
My husband and I like to come when we can. Great service, great food. Always friendly staff. Slow at times but expected considering the amount of people. Totally worth it and our money.

Cham Sut Gol is most likely in my top Korean Barbeque places. Perfect meat selection as I like to eat the basic proteins (beef brisket, beef bulgolgi, beef belly, and beef tongue) - which are all on the cheaper menu. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. They have good customer service and on top of that..all you can eat ice cream (:
They since really updated their staff and customer service is exceptional now. Really friendly and accommodating, with great meat and attentive refills and grill replacements. The best bang for your buck and even better with the improved staff now.

My favorite all you can eat Korean B.B.Q restaurant. I like going with my friends and family. We always have a good time.Pros: All you can eat meat, free ice cream, delicious rice, hot soups, delicious salad, waiters and waitresses are friendly(if I see that they’ve had a long stressful day I try not to call them as much)Cons: LONG line if you go at the wrong time, pay per can of soda(no fountain drink dispenser), some parts of the restaurant have slippery floors and I feel like I’m going to slip and fall
One of the more quality style places you can visit in Buena Park that serves better meats in my opinion. Everytime I visit I am rarely disappointed and if I am, its mostly due to service being slow or table reservation issues because this place does get packed in the weekends. Whats cool about this place is they have unlimited ice cream!
If you live in garden grove and you dont want to drive far to eat good Korean BBQ, this is a great place to go. ALSO that free ice cream at the end its a great PLUS
Delicious!! Seated fast even at 7pm on a Friday. Yummy food; bulgogi was my favorite. Make sure to ask for daikon as one of the little sides.
All you can eat but the meat was Okay nothing to rave about. Service was standard and we had to keep asking for more water and side dishes. Average Korean BBQ but on the cheaper side...

I personally do not go to AYCE KBBQ for service. You go to get a FULL STOMACH with meat! So, I ignore one star ratings whining about service. This is a great, clean, cheap place. You are so cheap you would rather go to a $9.95 place? Truly laughable bizarre comment.
Compared to the Cham Sut Gol in rowland heights this one is abit lacking in meat choices and seafoods. even though it is all you can eat. Its great for those in the area that want korean bbq but if you want more choices of meats and drinks and seafood the drive to one in rowland heights is a better choice. waiting time is long and parking is hard. The grills are hard to adjust the fire, the one we had the knob kept falling off and the other grills didnt have a proper oil/fat catch pan so if the fire isnt well attended too the oil/fat will catch fire. The table next to you had a small oil fire and the waiter had to splash water on it which made alot of smoke. But for the price and what you are getting its good but there is better choices if you are willing to drive obviously.

Come here about once a year with friends. Typical KBBQ AYCE, except that it serves ICE CREAM! Theres a ice chest of serve-yourself ice cream. Not sure if flavors rotate, but Ive always had the green tea ice cream which is pretty good.Food is mediocre, sides are decent. I just wish they would give you bigger portions of the sides when youve already asked to refill 5 times already.

Place is a wreck, used outdoor space heaters. Wallpaper peeling from the wall, product stacked on the ground. Surprised did not get food poisoning . Will not be going back. Clean up your act.

Free ice-cream. The meat here is very well flavored but the wait can be excruciating. One time I arrived there and the wait time was apparently 1 hour... we waited 2 hours and 20 minutes.
All u can eat various beef and pork with unlimited side dishes as many as u can eat. Also comes with one choice of soup and rice and rice roll (flat rice noodle). Dessert is four different flavors of ice cream you can choose from

My family and I love Cham soot gol its the best Korean BBQ spot that we know of the price is great the options are good and who doesnt love ice cream at the end of your bill my son loves it I love it my wife loves that our friends live it been going here for years I definitely recommend this place but be warned sometimes its so good there is a wait .
The restaurant states that it closes at 11. We got there at 10 but it was already not accepting customers cause it was too close to closing. If it doesnt want to take customers after 10 it should change its closing hours instead of wasting its customers time.
Reason as to 3 stars is because of the service. Sometimes it takes awhile for them to bring you the meats or check up on your table. The hours during the week is in my opinion horrible because they close at 10.
We got charged for not finishing all the food. It was a lot, but it was combing of all of us. We shouldnt have group it together which made it look a lot. A sign needs to be placed for that
Meat and soju! Unlimited ayce ice cream after. A good place to go and close to shik do rak. Both are good. Cham Sut Gol tends to have a shorter line to get in on busy nights like Friday or Saturday
Post pandemic, this place is a good place to eat with friends. The staff was friendly and they were quick to help us out. We were there for a couple of hours and we had to leave since they were closing down for the day.

The quality of the KRN BBQ meat here is delicious. You almost do not have to chew it because the meat is so tender. Kind of $$$, but it is all you can eat + sweet icecream.

It simply reads Korean BBQ restaurant out in the front.Its a rather large and fairly clean restaurant with many tables where meat is being cooked on the table. Its a good setting for groups. Most people here get the all-you-can-eat special for $17 or so. With that special, youll get unlimited meat, salad and also a variety of Kim Chi. Its really worth the price and the food is great. I had to refrain myself from eating more meat at the end of the evening to at least pretend to be healthy. Youll conclude the dinner with free (and unlimited) self-serve ice cream (with flavors such as chocolate and green tea).We have found the service to be excellent: the waiters were really attentive and kept on coming to our table to provide more meat, water, cut and grill the meat for us, and even replace out the grill plate multiple times during our single evening.This is a great place and this explains why it is so popular.

Place looks dirty the floor were sticky and nasty. The food was over price and bad, and to top it all there was a HUGE COCKROACH under the table. They killed it as if it was nothing.

2023-11-17 22:12:33All around great experience. Traveling from out of state on business first experience eating Korean BBQ. Staff explained what to order and how to cook. I was amazed at the customer service something that seems to be lacking in most restaurants now a days. We had interactions with several workers all very helpful. The way the crew worked together helping one another checking on tables, adjusting the grill flame, changing the grill grates, constantly checking if we need more meat. It was truly a great dining experience and the management should be proud of their team.

The personnel is nice and the waiters are friendly and attentive. Not the most extensive menu, but the meats are of good quality.

The service is where it really made a difference here. Servers/ restos experience really shows here. They know when to ask to serve more food or replace the grill top. Will definitely come back here. 2022-01-17 02:00:03We ordered brisket, beef bulgogi and thin sliced pork belly. The portions were huge for 2 ppl! I’d recommend ordering a half size. The sides were delicious and they have radish paper as an option besides rice and rice paper! The food was good, I only wish the thin sliced pork belly had more flavor to it, it was very plain. Other than that, our server was very nice and accommodating! :) they also AYCE ice cream towards the back of the restaurant!

(To bad they took the ice cream cones out)

Prices went up a little since covid and theyve streamlined their menu, but its still all you can eat and includes sides, soup, and ice cream. The tofu soup is amazing, but vegetarians should be warned there is meat in it. We love the potato salad and glass noodles sides. The bulgogi is really good here. They allow you to scoop your own ice cream again, but in cups only, no cones. Still delicious and well worth the money if youre a carnivore.

If you are meat lovers, this restaurant suits you.Just disappointed on side dishes, steamed egg and soup. Table is oily without wiping properly and was served in takeaway chopsticks.

Loved it!! The food was great, but if I have to choose, I gotta say the brisket and the spicy pork were my favorite. Kids love the rice paper 😊🤷♀️ We will definitely be back soon. 😋
