Chama Nativa Brazilian Steakhouse in Gilroy

This place is the ultimate Brazilian steakhouse experience. I recently found out about Chama Nativa through a neighbor who had visited just a few HOURS prior. I needed a quality spot to take my mom-in-law for her birthday. WOW! Am I glad my neighbor shared this place with me! The service is beyond compare. Jose was gracious enough to place a last minute reservation for my family (we were 7 total that evening). The variety of meats are cooked to perfection. If you don’t eat meat, the salad bar is phenomenal. Not your average salad bar for sure. Enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner date or simply come to enjoy fine dining at more than reasonable prices. Children are welcomed here (they have discounted menus for the kiddos). Mine are 9 and 13 years old and they utterly enjoyed themselves. They even managed to order key lime pie and our birthday flan — both were absolutely delicious!! 😋 Hats off to the chef! 🙌🏼✨

We were very excited to go here and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, they seated us right away for our 630 reservation even though our whole party wasnt there yet. The salad bar was pristine and the curious veggies, cheeses and soups were presented beautifully. It wasnt just pretty, basically everything was delicious. The only salad bar complaint was that the brie was stiffer than I would have liked.The meat! You cant talk about a place like this without thing about the meat! We got to try all 17 choices, my favorite being rhe parmeson pork and the Ribeye. Everything was beautifully cooked and the folks handing out the meat had such great attitudes. Even roasted cheese with honey.Finally dessert, tres leches cake, Creme Brule, Flan, it was all delicious.Cant wait to go back.

We organized a surprise birthday dinner for my friend and it was great . The managers Sait and Jose were very accommodating and the staff very polite and helpful.We used the big room and had it decorated to our taste. Love every bit of the experience.Only thing I would recommend is that they work on their e-pay, tap or QR code for payment that’s convenient 😉For some reason there was no grilled pineapple on that day, that I realized loved !Thanks

I have been to Brazilian Steakhouses all over the US(10+ unique locations) and am both a fan and frequent visitor.Chama Nativa ranks in the top 2 no doubt.Besides the meats the pineapple and grilled cheese are great, and a must try.Salad bar has a great assortment including a parmigiana wheel.The place is exceptionally clean!Have been here twice and highly recommend to lovers or newcomers alike.For anyone in the South Bay this is worth a trip, prefer this place over Fogo (SJ) any day.

First time visiting. We have never tried Brazilian food ! Having a buffet for the sides was good because it gives u opportunity to pick your faves. I liked the mango/pico de gallo, rice and beans. Everyone was very attentive and on it, I appreciate all the great service!

The servers roam around with a variety of perfectly cooked meats. Slice you off a piece at your request. The salad bar has a wide variety of choices including cheeses, seafood and vegetables. For additional price they have an excellent dessert.

Great experience for my sons 13th birthday! He loved it. Thankful to the staff for such a great time.

Excellent food, and even better service from all staff. Very friendly and festive and a great place to go dressed up for two experience a great meal. Come hungry! You will not be disappointed with the hot and tasting beef and pork selections. Next time Ill have to try the fried pineapple, but I was saving room for my favorite pork dishes.Great job and kudos to the entire staff at both sides of the house.

Last minute birthday dinner did not disappoint. Wonderful service and food, will go back another time.

Went to this place today November 18 at 8:00 pm and I am so disappointed in the service. Me and my brother sat down and we flipped our card to green and for the whole hour we where there, they brought us the same 2 meats, just spicy steak and garlic steak, no other choices of steaks, just those to options. We would ask for different options in medium rare and they would do the opposite. They would bring me well done even when i didn’t ask them to and repeatedly told them medium rare. So disappointed as my first time going there and disappointed that my $158 for the dinner wasn’t worth it.
