Chandni Restaurant in Newark

I recently attended a fundraiser at Chandini restaurants banquet hall. The venue was impressively clean and well-lit, creating a pleasant ambiance. However, I must admit that the food was rather average. It didnt quite live up to the promising atmosphere. The chai was disappointingly weak, resembling more like water. While the setting and service were great, I hope they can elevate the culinary experience.

Chandni Restaurant is an excellent venue for hosting parties, offering abundant parking space conveniently located near Fremont downtown and freeways.The restaurant boasts spacious areas suitable for hosting wedding events, as well as smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, and the food served is nothing short of amazing.Recently, we attended a 2nd birthday party for the child of our dear friends at this restaurant, and it was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone had a great time.I highly recommend Chandni Restaurant as a fantastic choice for hosting parties.

If you’re planning on booking this venue for a private event. I do not recommend it at all as they are thieves. The manager Mohammed will sell you the world and not deliver as he verbally told us that if anything was left behind, they will check the camera footage and return it back to us. This was a lie, our boxes were left behind and Mohammed told me that their video guy will come in and get me the footage and email it to me after reviewing it. They said the video is good for 7 days until it’s starts recording over the video. After reviewing the footage I was informed that the footage was deleted. These were $6,000 worth cash that was left in gifts behind that either the venue or the staff stole it. To top it off, I will be reporting this business to the IRS as you are telling your clients to send you cash to a different persons account that we have track off. Entire experience with this venue has been a nightmare. 100% do not recommend

Attended a Diwali party recently in this place. Easily one of the worst food ever had in Bay Area. Chicken Briyani was very poorly made and cold. Gravy was tasteless. Refill was not made on time. Funny thing was that even their chai tasted like hot water.Hall was big and simple.

The fried puris did not taste good, like they had been fried in old cooking oil. Had a horrible stench. Several of the buffet items were less than warm due to sitting out fir a while. Since the place wasn’t busy they just let them sit instead of replacing with fresh/warm items. Then when they were empty, had to wait a couple of times for them to refill some items. Kheer (rice pudding) was very runny, like soup.Staff is attentive and friendly. Multiple buffet stations have something for everyone, but again may not be fresh/hot depending on when you go.They don’t serve any beef dishes in the buffet nor a la carte.Overall not great quality of food, lack of awareness on when to place food in the buffet dishes, taste was average/ok.

Service was above and beyond! I am blown away by the professionalism and support Muhammad was able to provide for my family as we were planning a party here. We have been going to parties at Chandni for years, but had never organized an event here. Muhammad accommodated all the last minute changes we had as we approached the date as well as patiently answered all our questions. Overall, my family and guests were impressed with the organization, service, and quality of food that was served. Highly recommend!

Been there twice. Variety of curry to try on a budget lunch. Buffets Indian lunch. Curry rice is disappointed. For which alone deserve to deduct one star. Service is good. Clean.

I decorated for an event at their venue, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. The venue was very clean and nice. Would highly recommend booking your next event with them!

Attend a wedding event in the restaurant banquet section. Very nice decor and size of the hall.Food quality was good. Service by staff was overall good too.
