Love the place. Always say Im going to try something different but always get the s and s pork or chicken. Love the chunks of pineapple and piece of carrots and celery in it. Great won ton soup. Started at the location in Auburn.

Chang Bros in Rocklin has amazing Chinese food! I visited with my Brother in law who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese having many authentic dishes, and he approves this as a great option. I enjoy sit down dinners, as well as their combination platter to go more often as I should as I crave it often! Highly recommend Chang Bros

The service was awesome!! We were in a rush, and I had hoped for something that I could eat while driving, to go... of course that isnt possible with Chinese food... So caring for my safety, they got the food ready for us REALLY fast, and it was delicious!!! Now, Im sure they couldnt do this all the time, as we got there just as they opened... But still, I am deeply grateful for their kindness and empathy.

Arrived with my guest promptly for my 5pm reservation. There were only two other guests dining when we arrived. The waitress brought our drinks. Shortly after, another couple arrived for dinner. The waitress seemed to know them. They were obviously repeat customers. The waitress spent a lot of time talking to them. Brought them their drinks. Then took their dinner order.All the while ignoring us. Essentially she took their dinner order first even though we arrived about 15 minutes before the party.I discussed our experience with the waitress. Promptly paid for my beverage and left. I refuse to pay good money and be treated as a second class citizen. Not sure if what we experienced was racism. At best, it was terrible service.

I ordered take out from here on Sunday evening and was really disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews but the food was horrible. We ordered several dishes. The fried rice, chow mein were good. The general chicken was dry and chewy. The portion for walnut prawns was very small and the batter wasnt very crispy. The wonton soup broth had very little flavor but the wonton themselves were really good.We ordered several other dishes and they were ok but not super impressive. I feel like the chicken was old. I am an avid cook and love food. I havent been this disappointed in a restaurant in a long time. We spent over $100.00 and ended up throwing most of it out because if it was bad fresh, eating as leftovers would never work.

Came to CA and visited our cousin Pam who eats here often. I think each time weve been back weve eaten here. We like to mix half and half hour and sour with egg drop. I love the sesame chicken. Last time we came we had joked with the waitress about how sad we are when our cookie has no fortune. Ironically mine came with none. So she brought 2 out and had me choose. Fortunately if had one. Cant believe I didnt take pictures. We were hungry and hadnt eaten all day.

We ate the beef chow foon, chicken with vegetables, and spring rolls. Everything was great from the meat to the broccoli, nothing under or overcooked. The food was also packaged very neatly; they use good plastic containers and put cardboard in between each box, and it was all inside a stapled paper bag in the plastic bag, so it stayed warm too. Were not chinese but this tasted like real chinese food with real ingredients. The woman who took our order was really nice and seemed like she enjoyed being there. Overall great service, great food, great price. Nothing to complain about with our experience here and we will be coming back to try more the next time we want chinese food :)

Used to love the food here. The food isn’t as high quality anymore, and the service is terrible. I asked her 3 times for tea and she never brought it over to me. The won ton soup has for sure downgraded. The honey walnut shrimp sauce was too heavy and you don’t get many shrimps for what you are paying for. The chicken is also very dry. I don’t know what happened to this place, as it used to be much better. I don’t recommend eating here unless you want to waste your money.

This place is barely serviceable, 1970s style, white person style Chinese Americanized asian food is not necessarily a bad thing and can be tasty in its own way, but this was not good food either. Wor Wonton Soup was thin without much content (or pork) so do not believe the hype. Staff was nice but food was only edible without being offensive.

Good food for a reasonable price. Staff is always friendly, food is made fresh and fast.Ive taken both my elderly parents there on multiple occasions. My dad is a picky eater and my mother can only eat a few thing due to digestion issues. Both easily found something good to eat each time.Lunch menu is a good deal to.

This was the worst chinese take out We have ever had . We come from the bay area where we which has really good Chinese restaurants .We are 78 years old and are experienced Chinese food eaters . Never have we ever been so dissatisfied with Chinese food. We ordered sweet-and-sour shrimp and what we got is a bowl of what was supposed to be sweet and sour sauce which was Runny and clear and the shrimp (which I don’t have a photo of, which I regret )because we threw it away was breaded with this huge fluffy amount of breading withA tiny rubbery tough piece of shrimp inside. We ordered Kung pow chicken and broccoli beef which both were so so the beef almost tasted like it was soy instead of beef it had no texture it was soft and kind of slimy I’m not sure if it was beef my husband actually like the beef you said it was tender. I didn’t think it even tasted like beef. This restaurant has some decent ratings but I would never go back. The staff was polite and they had a difficult time understanding what I wanted over the phone. They did get the order right. They were very polite.

Have gone twice for lunch. The first time I had something deep fried so hard that the (General) chicken was dried out. A bright super sweet red sauce was added. Next time I wanted a lightly sauced chicken with veggies. It came with the he same gross red sauce.Staff was nice enough but food needs improving.

Good food at a low price with generous portions. Their lunch specials are large enough for a dinner and are very economical. The chicken wasnt grainy as it is at other Chinese restaurants in the area. I will definitely go back again.

Great neighborhood Chinese spot! Ive tried many of the Chinese restaurants around town and this is my go-to place. The servers are really nice and the food always delivers. For Covid they are all really good about having their masks completely on. As a healthcare worker I feel totally safe eating here.

I moved up from the bay area over four years ago and have been looking for a good Chinese food for a while now. It’s been almost 5 years since I’ve had such good Chinese food. This place is amazing. Love this place! Been coming here for 5 years, since I moved into the area and was looking for some good local Chinese. This is definitely not the typical cheap Chinese take-out you can get at other restaurants. The pepper salt wings are a favorite among my family.

First off, Ive eaten here on many occasions but must say it gas gotten progressively worse over the past few years . I ordered for take out walnut shrimp, general chicken and chicken fried rice. When my fiance brought it home and we made our own plates, we first tried the walnut shrimp. Ive got to say, if you like eating a spoonful of mayonnaise youll enjoy the shrimp. Then went to the general chicken. The chicken itself tasted like it was foul and had been sitting out for at least two days and they reheated it up. The chicken fried rice was the worst thing I have ever tasted, there was no flavor and had a horrible undecribable after taste. It was even worse than cooking microwave rice in a bag. As I called in the early afternoon to complain about my food after we decided that nothing could be consumed, nobody wanted to help me because they had closed at 2:30pm for their dinner rush. The woman on the phone tells me to call back after 4 p.m. when their manager comes in. So an hour and a half goes by and I decided just to drive over there. At 4:02 p.m., the manager finally opens up the door and walks in. I proceeded right after him with bag in hand to return my food for a full refund. The woman who I had spoken to on the phone was quite polite but the gentleman whom I did not know was the manager, asked me what happened. I explained politely how horrible his food tasted to the exact detail I explained on here and he got really upset and started to check everything in the bag ( as if I ate all the food and filled it up with something other than his own product) then tells me that I ate most of the shrimp. I said I had one piece and my fiance had three and if youd like, you may charge me a few dollars for that. The man proceeded to take my food away and start yelling at his staff in their native tongue. As he storms off to the back of the store she turns around and looks confused. Then she sits there and looks at the receipt and tells me I refund you minus $3. I said whatever, I just want my money and I will never come back to this establishment ever again. I have never tasted food so terrible in my life. When you pay almost $40 for your family to eat and the food is not even tolerable enough to consume, they should not be in business.

The main entrée was fine but the lack of taste from the sides did not make this a good meal. The rice had no real taste and the chow mien (plus chicken and vegetables) turned out to be just lo mein (just the noodles). I would not recommend this place if your going there for a combination plate. We had to stop eating it toss it out and get a pizza.

Happy family was bomb. Scallops were tender, water chestnuts were not soggy. Ordered delivery they were fast and even threw in a side of white rice no charge. Crab cheese wontons actually have crab unlike some other places.

Last time thete will be the last time food soggy like microwaved and not hot not even warm all the way through. Each time we went there the cooks were arguing and fighting over something. We could not understand them but it made the dining experience uncomfortable.
