Came here for dinner and ordered: Kai sao, chicken friend rice, and pad thai. Everything was delicious that I can’t choose a favorite. Oh yeah, ordered a large Thai tea…and it’s LARGE, definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so big 😂Will definitely be coming back to try different entrees.

I tried food at this place for the second time. I was very impressed with the thai boat noodle menu. It tasted really good. Its a traditional Thai taste. I really like it. The desserts are also very delicious. I will often patronize this Thai restaurant.

First time at this Thai restaurant and I’m glad me and my friend ate here, friendly service, good atmosphere, LGBTQ+ friendly and the food was delicious. The chicken sate was delicious with a flavorful peanut sauce to go with it and the drunken noodles didn’t disappoint. Will be back in the future.

Last night, we got egg rolls, pad see ew, spicy eggplant with zero spicy (you can choose from 0 to 10 of spiciness). It was almost closing time, but the server was super nice to take orders for togo. All for veggie options; we chose all tofu. I love fried tofu, and I had the most perfect tofu ever. Crispy outside and tender inside. I highly recommend trying to have veggie options for your meals. It took over 30 mins to get home and eat, but the food was still hot enough. And I was pretty sure that everything was cooked freshly. I couldn’t stop saying “It’s so good!”I wish this restaurant would be located close to where I live.

Fantastic locally owned spot with delicious food and great service! we ordered the veggie egg rolls, Thai iced tea, beef pad see ew, cashew shrimp and honey chicken. everything was amazing, affordable pricing and large portionscant wait to go back soon, this is definitely one of my favorite spots in long beach :)

Ridiculous service tonight. Waited over hours to eat. Even though seated, we still waited over an hour to get served. I felt it was catered more to togo orders than guests. Eventually we sat up and left after asking guests who we saw waiting for their food when we signed up for a table and still didnt get their food when we sat and ordered. Most guests kept looking at the servers for their food.

A staple for Broadway in the neighborhood. The portions have become a lot smaller but if you want to grab a quick bite I recommend the soups or curry. As they are surrounded by bars and apartments the business does do well but it’s definitely the last pick. Teriyaki chicken is a platter of half chicken half lettuce served with rice. The broccoli and shrimp was very disappointing, about 5 pieces of shrimp surrounded by barely steamed broccoli smothered in bland sauce ($16!?) . Honestly the meals reminded me of airline food or microwave dinner, passable if starving but depressing. The flavors were dull and as if cut with water or vinegar (?)I’ve come here before for the fried tofu and loved the dipping sauce with peanut but last night the sauce had an much more sour flavor and unfortunately I found/bit into a staple that was on the tofu! Very disappointed, wanted to treat myself and friends to dinner after moving, $60 bucks later we were still hungry, next time I’ll stick to the AMAZING Chinese food spot on 7th and Long Beach, huge portions, great price and never a disappointment…If you want to try a really good Thia restaurant look up Naree on Ocean BLVD not only is it fresh, tastes yummy and the best service they have a wonderful lunch menu, no more than $16 for an entree with an appetizer and drink (entree is bigger than what they serve here and tastes way better no sour or rancid taste) don’t waste your time or money here unless you just finished bar hopping

We have been coming to Thai Silk for years and love the orange chicken, wonton soup, egg rolls, teriyaki salmon, papaya salad, and many of the other dishes! It is a family owned and operated restaurant and the server (Ivy) is so friendly and wonderful. We have always had great experiences here. FIVE STARS across the board!

This was some of the best Tom Kha I’ve ever had outside of Thailand. Generous with the veggies and herbs. I was staying around the corner for a week and got this soup two nights in a row. Friendly staff and cute little restaurant. Highly recommend.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in long beach! i *rarely* go back to the same restaurant twice, but ive eaten here multiple times and am thinking ordering some now lol. best yellow curry and thai tea EVER! portion sizes are very generous. and almost everything can be made vegan – its not common to see that on a menu! plus, the woman who owns it is an absolute sweetheart. im sure her husband is too but ive never met him haha

First time eating here. Im a vegetarian and am pleased they can make many of their entrees vegan. And they know when you ask for vegan, that also means no fish or oyster sauce.The drunken noodles come with medium spice which is great for me, but it may be a touch too spicy for those that cant handle that? It had crispy tofu and a variety of veggies. I also had the yellow curry and veggies egg rolls. Standard good food. Will be back.

Your basic Thai food. I usually order from here when my favorite Thai place right next door to them (Spicy Sugar) is closed on Mondays. Watch out if you ask for spicy.. Our pad Thai was so ridiculously spicy that it was almost inedible. And I like a lot spice. Skip the almost chickenless wontons, theres more chicken on a Dorito.

The food had fresh herbs and was freshly made.I called to get assistance with navigating the menu as Im gluten free (not by choice). Their accommodations were phenomenal. Ive tried several noodle dishes here and curries, I already love this place. I prefer spicy food typically but I wanted Pad Thai for the first time in a while and decided to get the combo meats and shrimp, its HEAVEN! I love their tofu and chicken here but these shrimp are huge and so good! And the skirt steak pieces are delicious and savory. Just how you want steak to be in a stir fry in my opinion. Ive never had such fresh and all over flavorful Pad Thai! I pulled one shrimp out just for the picture but theyre all buried under the noodles for warmth :)

I came across this restaurant via TA. We ordered the chicken Panang Curry, spicy chicken eggplant and shrimp Pad Thai. All were absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend you come here to eat. The best yellow curry and pad see ew I’ve ever tried. My husband loves Thai silks yellow curry he’s come 2-3x a week sometimes when he is on a curry crave. By far Thai silk gives amazing generous portions, delicious tasty food for a great price. I can’t complain. Thai silk is by far serves the best Thai food. I recently met the owner Apple she is so humble and sweet was open to assist me. I have to say a successful business always starts with understanding management. I can walk to this place, so convenient. We start off with the vegetable egg rolls, crispy, packed with veggies, great sweet sauce for dipping. No. 90, Seafood Platter is terrific, the red curry sauce is delicious with just the right amount of spiciness. I want to lick the plate. Finished with coconut ice cream topped with savory nuts. Pat, our server told us about Thailand complete with photos on her phone. Great meal, great service, clean and homey. 😁

I ordered for the first time from Thai Silk and am always a bit nervous but the yellow curry made spicy with chicken was so delicious and fresh! The chicken wasn’t in cubes and gross. It was sliced chicken breast. I also very much enjoyed the miso soup. It took less than 30 mins to arrive. Highly recommend!

The curry is pretty good, but pretty much everything else there falls far below my standard of good Thai food. Service is not all that great, and the overall vibe in there is pretty negative. I wouldnt recommend it. The Thai restaurant 3 doors on down Broadway is much better, and the staff is much friendlier.

Very bland pad thai. Didnt seem like they used authentic sauce. The concoction on mine seemed more like watered down ketchup. The chicken satay skewers I ordered were soggy on the outside, very tough and dry on the inside, and almost completely flavorless. Will never eat here again.

I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years. I love it and order delivery a lot. I just found out they were shut down do to a cockroach infestation. How can you assure loyal customers like me that the food is safe? Idk if I’ll be able to eat here again. The description showed cockroaches in mutiple places all over the restaurant. How as the owner did you allow that to happen? Please respond. I hope one day I can comeback knowing my food will be safe and prepared as it should be.

Its very tiny for a cost of 10 dollars.This company responded to my review and theyre response is a complete lie. I did not ask for more or bigger shrimp. I walk past this establishment every time I walk to work and ever since Ive had it, I want to stop every time. We ordered some kind of fried wontons and they were amazing! I crave it often. Cant wait to try more on the menu. My only complaint was that we were the only ones there and our order took a long while to receive. But the food was worth the wait. This place is a great spot. Thai Silk has great food specials and deals for lunch while also providing a quiet and well lit space to enjoy your meal in. Parking like most of LB is hard to find, however, if within walking distance or bike riding distance you should spend some time here and look at their decent sized menu.

My husband and I ordered from them, and one of the dishes we ordered was wrong. It was a coconut chicken soup, not the kung pao chicken. We called back to correct the mistake, and I was told theyd have to speak to the driver, who then called me back 30 minutes later, yelled at me, and hung up on me.Now, obviously there was a communication barrier. He must not have understood me when I ordered. (I was looking at the online menu, which doesnt have numbers listed, so we had rely on, you know, English.) But regardless, this is terrible customer service. I called right away to tell them of their mistake, was very reasonable about it, and did not deserve to be treated that way. I never did get any dinner that night.

I got take out of the garlic beef and chow mein dinner combination.First I received the tiniest portion of beef. Its a child size side serving. And the beef was over cooked and chewy.The chow mein was bland. So I had to drench it in chili and soy sauce.Im shocked that this place is still around or that its received as many stars as it has.Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or the cook was having an off night?Not sure Ill even give this place a second chance with so many other similar options in the area.

The most awesome food ever !! but you must do something about the evening cashier that holds people hostage with her cell phone photos of candles... its ridiculous to get your food and not be able to leave because she is forcing you to look at her phone and literally following you out the door and half way down the side walk. So many in the neighborhood choosing other after work quick eats because no matter how many times you tell her no thanks or I gotta go this lady is pretty agressive at trying to force you to stay and look ar her photos or follow you out the door. Ask your patrons!! We just want it to stop.

The man that was taking phone orders actually hung up on me when I was placing an order. Another time, I ordered for delivery and I didnt receive the food until 5 hours later. I just went there been seeing it for years so decided to try and I ordered pasit EU ( I might be spelling it wrong) it was disgusting 13,25 it was small like 5 tiny shrimp and about 6 little broccoli bites and greasy as hell my first and last Im so mad I should have just went about 4 more blks down to Chins instead they dont Rob you and the portions are huge (enough for 2 or 3 people) and theyre very affordable and great service I wont go back to silk actually I went because construction going on Broadway wasnt any parking by Chins lesson learned
