I had the Orange Chicken lunch special with chicken fried rice and a sprite. The service was amazing. The employees were nice and respectful. They refilled my drink as often as needed. Food was great, and ready quickly. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Definitely a good place to take a small group of friends

Great service! Great food from the soup to the food. Kind servers and the booths are very comfortable- good lighting and great music in the background. The cheese wonton was delicious and the food is not overly seasoned! Chow mein is now in my top ones! We will definitely come back to this place and said who knew this hidden gem was here!

Finding good Chinese food in this area was surprisingly hard. Ended up with a lot of bland yet salty food. Chef Bo comes in way above that, love the food always packaged with care for Togo orders. Will definitely be the go to from now on.

We enjoyed a very nice meal. Beef chow mein, chicken with black bean sauce (my favorite), and shredded pork with hot garlic sauce. All the dishes were wonderful! Well definitely go again!

Horrible experience. Paid $14.95 for appetizers and they were dry and tasteless. Ordered bbq pork chow fun and received a plate of greasy noodles with beef. The worst…won’t be going back or recommending. As a restaurant they should be ashamed.

I have recommended Chef Bo to a lot of people as the food is delicious, but this location was not the same as the Elk Grove location. The Elk Grove location has a better atmosphere. This location needs to deep clean the bathroom and the area next to the restroom/ kitchen. The dining area was clean. The staff was friendly and the food arrived hot and fast.

The chicken bao buns werent prepared properly. My roommate & I both got a terrible case of food poisoning. I STRONGLY advise against going here. If you must, dont get the chicken bao buns or just try to avoid chicken completely. Trust me, you DO. NOT. want to feel as sick as I felt.

Inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Have had the dinner special a few times, its cheap and comes with hot and sour soup and egg roll. (More like a spring roll) have tried the mongolian beef, Kung po, sesame chicken and general tsao chicken. Fried rice is hit or miss. Sometimes its just flavorless, sometimes its awesome. Same with the chicken dishes, sometimes its more chewy breading than anything. Its cheap and fast though and still better than panda express, which I know isnt saying much. They mongolian beef and chow mein are the most consistent, so I can definitely recommend those.

This is the best Chinese restaurant that Ive ever been to in Sacramento. The food is fresh prepared to order order and so delicious. The staff is friendly and they speak English. Great for take out! I ordered the sizzling rice soup. I appreciated how they kept the rice seperate.The beef chow fun was good; but, I would definitely order the house or combo next time.I ordered via telephone. The various app prices and fees vary. I will be ordering here again next week via phone. My order was ready in 10 minutes. Online it said 35 to 50 mins it I would.of selected delivery. Pick up was quick and easy!

Had lunch here for a family gathering. Friendly staff, helped me choose the General Tao Chicken, which was delicious as the chicken was crispy but not overcooked. Excellent sauce with a bit of spice too. I had the Chow mein that was great as well. My wife had lemon chicken that was served as a couple of nice tender chicken cutlets and the sauce on the side to add! Nice touch, that kept it from being soggy. We all enjoyed the meal, and stay for a nice visit and were not rushed! We will be returning!

Food is always fast and hot, I never have to wait for a table no matter what time. The flavors of the cuisine here are usually outstanding like Mandarin. I just wish they offered a kids menu with smaller portions at a reduced price because my daughter loves the place but can never eat a lot of the food and we ultimately waste it. The hot and sour soup is inconsistent and I sometimes have to add my own vinegar and black pepper to season it properly. Id rate 5 stars if they could make that soup more consistent. I still love the place.

I used to cook for a living so I can tell you they get it right, for us, every time. The vegetables are cooked al-dente. Broccoli and other such veggies will continue to cook after you remove them from the heat, so once I take a bite, I know if its undercooked or overcooked and soggy, but its perfect every time. The flavors are excellent. Helen is a very nice and efficient server and is always pleasant. Prices are competitive and fair. Highly recommend!😀

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I simply dont understand how they have been staying in business. Must be the customers who come back for the appetizers that are thrown in the fryer. Tried their Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Only two shrimps in a DEEP FRIED, unedible, tough, and spongy web of eggs. I took two bites and threw it away. Before that, I tried their Chicken Chow Fun. Completely flavorless. Unseasoned. Ten tiny pieces of chicken that I could tell was once frozen. If you decide to order from this place, stick with the appetizers that any Chinese restaurant should be able to manage. Avoid everything else.

I have received excellent service every time I have ordered delivery from this restaurant, which is a lot. The vegetables are crisp and not wilted like you will find at some restaurants that overcook them. I have had a couple of solo lunch plates here, within the last 6 months. Not really special, but standard & consistent Chinese food. However, recently I fed my crew of 6 workers one Saturday when we were on a particularly tough project. We ordered from Chef Bo based on a take out menu I had. My crew was very hungry and on a time deadline, so they ate, in spite of the poor quality of the food & the preparation. My order also was dreadful. But for my training I would not have finished. Even the Hot & Sour soup was watery and unpleasant. When I have time I will stop in and try to share this experience. I wont be eating there for the foreseeable future.
