Excellent cafe in the Torrey Pines Science Park.Food is cooked fresh to order, except for the daily Hot Entree Specials.f youre coming here during your lunch, dont forget to text your order ahead of time, as It can take a bit for the order to be made because its fresh!The daily specials are ready by 11:00 am, and are always great! They arent cooked to order, though.Id recommend the breakfast croissant with tomato and mustard, an excellent combination that gets your day started right!The flatbread pizzas are great as well! The pizza dough is stretched and baked when you order it, so expect to wait 20 minutes for the pizza. Definitely worth it!

I work in the building, so I come here quite often and never get tired of their food. Chef Felix, Mama, the whole family and everyone working here are always super friendly. The food is really tasty and affordable, especially the chipotle chicken ciabatta sandwich and their flatbreads. I always get a side of their homemade chipotle salsa too. In fact, anything with chicken is excellent here since Chef grills it fresh every morning. Would definitely recommend!

Wow! So glad I found this gem! Our breakfast burrito and sandwich were made from scratch and were so delicious. Staff was extremely welcoming. Very short walk from the Hilton at Torrey Pines. Like the other reviews mention, it is in building #5. Highly recommend! We will be back when we are in the area again.

I really wanted to like this place, the staff was very nice, the place was very clean. The food was disgusting.We ordered some french toast and chilaquiles. The french toast looked good, but the entire center of it was soaked with the egg wash. Both orders of french toast just mush.The chilaquiles tasted good, especially with the added cilantro and crumbly Mexican cheese, but it was drowning in salsa verde. This made the tortillas super soft and mushy. The salsa was way too overpowering especially with how limey it was.Needless to say $40 worth of food straight to the trash. I do not recommend this place.

Food was very good and the staffs were so friendly. Didnt know its the cafe in the hospital and was skeptical when we got there, but ended up with a good meal.

We were visiting Torrey Pines and looking for a place to eat lunch. Found Chefs Cafe online and it seemed to have good reviews. We decided to check it out. Had a hard time finding it since it is actually in some kind of medical facility. So thats a little weird but the food was fantastic and the service was second to none. Felix made us feel like we were guests in his home. And after you get used to being in a medical facility, you realize that it is actually very quiet with lots of good seating.

I highly recommend this place . I got breakfast sandwich its very delicious and cheaper . I know its hard to find the place but people around the building are very nice to help you. I got helped from Mike. Im very thankful. Also, this place is kind of a hidden 💎 gem.

My favorite lunch place in the Torrey Pines Science Park. The quality of the food is great and the menu is very diverse so even if you eat there every day it doesnt become repetitive. Definitely check out their street tacos every second Friday. Most of all, proprietors Felix and Erica are super friendly, know all their regular customers by name and always make you feel welcome.

I had a chicken Caesar rap & was very good 👍🏼 Staff was friendly prices were good and the portion was big. Will be back again when I work in this part of town
