Was in the neighborhood in Studio City & saw this cafe style Indian cuisine 👍😋 very tasty, seasoned 👌 The young man was really helpful, as I had never eaten here before and patient as I could not make my mind up what to try. I’ll be back to try some other delicious things off the extended menus. Plus when you see other Indian people eating here, tells you that the replace is good.

This is cloud kitchen. Food was good in taste. Prices are reasonable. Ordered dosa and was nice, fresh and crispy. Taking out one star as it doesn’t look clean as normal restaurant. May be because kitchen is open and visible. They need to remove trash cans from the dine area.

Decided to check this place out. It had caught my attention for a while with all the stickers on the glass wall, stating that they serve many different cuisines.The concept was very creative! Customer can order (either dine in or take out) different kind of foods in one stop!Customers enter their order themselves using the tablets provided, pay... then wait for it!I gave spicy fried Chicken 65 a try out of Chennai Tiffins menu. The fried chicken were boneless pieces that were coated with many kinds of herbs.It was delicious!!! Pretty big portion for about $17ish. The herbaceous spicy aroma made me drool all the way driving home! I couldnt wait to take a bite right away after I got home. I love it! It packed a punch with many layers of flavors! Salty & spicy but not too spicy.The chicken was fried well done as I requested & there were crispy edges around them. I had to stop myself before I ate them all in one go! LolPlanning to go back & try their other items.Parking lot is huge & free. Its right by Starbucks & near Chipotle, across from Nordstrom rack.The place looked nice and clean.Recommended for others!

Stopped here for some south Indian cuisine. The food was really good!When you enter you are greeted and you place your order on the counter and do the payment.You can choose to sit inside or outdoor. They wil serve the food once its ready. Very quick service!Within 5-10 mins of ordering our food it was served.We ordered dahi vade which was little frozen but was good taste wise. The idli and vade combo came fresh!We also got the masala dosa, onion rava dosa and mix veg uttapam everything was good and was served on biodegradable plates.We enjoyed our visit here would definitely recommend!

Utterly tasteless and bad food. The chilli panner didnt taste good and panner and sauce never caught up with each other .The dosas had been overcooked and crispy not in good way. The rava masala dosa was soggy and we were unable to even touch it and had to dispose it. The other dosas were okay but the masala was tasteless and the sambar was cold and watery.No idea how they manage to ruin the food.The service even forgot to serve the coffee we ordered and the disposable utensils leaked .Never returning to this so called restaurant.

Technology is taking the fun out of dinning out . Walked in to order, 3 employees standing behind counter, but you must order on a tablet in the corner by the door .Overrated, food is below average, I ordered Dosa was very oily & none of the chutneys tasted like traditional flavors.. Location is the key to success of this business with heavy foot traffic. Never again .

We came here because it is a vegetarian restaurant, and I really do enjoy Indian food. This place was fantastic, and had great customer service. We had the Samosas, Cheese and Veggie Uthapam, Veg Biryani, Avial, and a Rose Milk. The Samosas were very good, and crisp, and came with delicious sauces--one was a creamy dill/mint sauce, and the other was like a sweet chili. The Veg Biryani is a veggie basmati seasoned, rice and was SO good. It came with raw white onion and a yogurt sauce. The Avial is like a curry, with potatoes, carrots, and peas, and comes with white rice, and was delicious. The Veggie Uthapam is a thick crepe with cheese and veggies, kind of like a pizza, and it comes with 3 different delicious sauces, and a little cup of delicious hot soup. The rose milk is worth trying, but Im not a huge fan of it. The food was so good, and so is the customer service. Well be back:)

Writing a review of their catering services specifically. Got in touch with them about their Live Dosa package, which I hired for my 40th birthday celebrations.The entire process was simple and excellent. The options are legit and this isn’t watered down for Western palates. Everything was authentic and fresh and delicious.I cannot recommend them more if you are catering a party!

I ordered dosa today for my kid and after a few bites I felt there was something wrong with the way it looked and then when I tasted, I felt the sourness . It was looking like the batter was there for many days . I went to the counter to say and they understood my concern and gave me a compensation of mango lassi ( it also tastes stale ) . I used to love this place earlier but now I will never go back again !

We attended the Vazhai Ilai Virunthu - the South Indian Banana Leaf fest. Great meal - its always difficult for a restaurant meal to really taste like home-cooked food, but Chennai Tiffins pulls off that difficult feat quite well. This had all the right ingredients - Sambar, Rasam, Morkozhambu, Pachadi and Payasam among others - with everything tasting just right! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

I came with my friends on July 5 I asked them for thalis and they charged me and everything. They came right back and said they dont have thalis. Its ridiculous!!!!!! I specifically asked them in the beginning if they have thalis and they said yes !!!! Instead of apologizing there was this lady she was like we will refund you the money with a huge attitude!!! Delicious Idli sambhar and Dosas. Comes with 3 kinds of dips and lentil soup(sambhar). I have visited here over a dozen times now, food tastes consistent and well cooked, not too spicy or salty, extra chutney with no cost and friendly staff. Dine in area is maintained clean and cozy. Self service kiosk is available for placing orders, chairs available for waiting as well, ample parking spots, and fast service. Certainly recommended for your southern Indian food cravings.

The food at this place has always been amazing. But the guy at counter, Karthik has been a refreshing change. He is courteous, caring, respectful, and hard working.The previous staff were rude and arrogant. I almost dont want to give away my favorite lunch spot! Great fresh and fragrant food at a great price. Fast for lunch. Amazing service with staff that educates you on dishes. I didnt know how to eat the curry and I was nicely taught how too! Placing some rice flattened on plate to let the heat off then putting 3-4 spoonfuls of curry over it. Love this place! Staff now knows my order.

The breakfast we had was awesome . The taste was authentic. I would love to go again and again and recommend you to go there. There was only one flip side that it was crowded on the day we were there because of offer. And due to resource shortage, could not get anything extra though it was unlimited. But in all I would recommend to visit for the real awesome taste.

Food is delicious and very authentic. I’m a North Indian and have travelled to Southern India a lot and tasted the very essence of the authentic food. However be careful with your bills. After charging your card, they add something on the tip and the bill goes up by 5$. 5$ is not a big deal but no one should be overcharged for what they aren’t aware of. I remember my bill was 27 something last night but my card shows the transaction of 32 something. That’s ridiculous! I am not visiting this place no more. Loved it till now for the taste but I hate being cheated.

I have ordered Indian food from here a few times. It seems like they specialize in South Indian food, specifically Dosas, but I can tell you that theyre North Indian food is just as great. On one visit I ordered the butter paneer masala with a garlic naan. The Masala was amazing, and the sauce was prepared with the perfect consistency. For fun I tried the chocolate Dosa once, and it was really cool because it was made with Nutella and came with vanilla ice cream on the side. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and would definitely recommend. Update - the food is still as tasty as ever, even after a remodel of the place!

Wow! The food is so authentic. Quality of food is so good. And serving style is really authentic too. Everyone is helpful. I forgot my wallet home and drove for over an hour to be here so I ordered to get the food online and called them right after if that food could be served to us on table and they were happy to help. 1 star that I took out would only be because they do not accept Google Pay and I would be happier if I didnt have to go through all that if they accepted Google Pay. 😊

The WORST food Ive ever had in all of California. Tried to call to let them know about the situation but no one answers. The lady at the register was not helpful at all, she seemed to be miserable to be there. Weird atmosphere in the restaurant. They sell random pizzas, asian food, bubble tea? Bad sign #1. Their rice is just SAD, poorly reheated and its not even the rice you would use for Biryani or Indian food? It was more like the rice you find in microwavable rice boxes? The vegetable Biryani was SO salty that it was impossible to eat. Had to throw out $40 worth of food. Salty, frozen samosas, (poorly heated microwavable foods). Do not go here or spend any money. Reviews here are clearly old or inaccurate. HORRIBLE.

They serve great south Indian tiffen varieties. Medhu vadas served with variety of chutneys and Sambhar are my favourite. I have almost tried all their tiffen varieties and love them. Meals are available only for dine in and tastes average.. Friendly staffs offering great service. I would say the best South Indian restaurant in wood land Hills..

The service is friendly. The staff is knowledgeable. The food arrived quickly. But the menus were all torn. I got hot tea in a steel glass. The sugar came in a lidless plastic bowl. I wasnt offered any milk for the tea. Overall, mot an unpleasant experience but also not one that I would wish to repeat.

This is real South Indian food. The chef is a genius. I recommend the idly vada combo, the spinach paneer dosa, the Mysore masala dosa, the chili onion uttapam, and the thali. The chutneys are fresh, the folks who work there are lovely, and if you are veg (and gluten free!) you will love it here.

PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES!!! I was very specific about my daughters food allergies today and was assured me there were no nuts and no cross contamination-- against my better judgment, I trusted them. She started to have a mild reaction after just a few bites. I went back in to let them know and again- the server assured me that there was no nuts in her order and no cross contamination. Clearly there must have been. I gave her a Benadryl and headed home. Once we got home, her eyes started to swell, she started sneezing and vomited profusely. We had to EpiPen her and are in the ER. She will be fine. As yummy as the food is- this establishment did not show ANY CONCERN for the well being of their patron.

Good place, the South Indian dishes are quite close to how they should be traditionally.The price of some of the simpler things like 2 idllis and 2 vadas seems to be more than any other restaurant of this cusine.But overall a good place with well cooked, healthy food.The servers were nice and polite.

The dinning area was fairly dirty and only 2 other tables had guests, but at least 5 or 6 other tables were dirty and had dirty dishes from previous guests and the floor was dirty. Awesome South Indian lunch place! Opened up a few months ago, and Ive been coming here ever since.Make sure to try the Spring Dosa or the Spinach Paneer Dosa, both of which are made differently here as compared to other places Ive tried and are really tasty!I personally also love the peanut chutney they have, among others, which goes well with pretty much every dosa you could get.The sambar can be a little hit or miss at times. Last time I went it tasted a little bit like daal instead. It seems their chef keeps changing stuff up. But its still good and I always go back!

Couple of our friends joined us for dinner. We sampled a variety of dishes. Personally preferred the Chole bhatura which was really great, avial was not authentic, masala dosa, idli and bisibele bath were ok. Service was fast but front staff started cleaning the table while we were seated. Worth a visit if you like south indian food.

We had chilli paneer, tomato soup, cheese dosa and ragi dosa. To top it off we had filter coffee and falooda. Amazingly tantalizing food. Absolutely authentic taste. Definitely will be back and wish to try every single food item they have.Second visit. We tried Medu Vada, spring dosa and Schezwan noodles. Amazing. We also gave tip personally to Shakti the chef. Worst experience from the staff . I asked for masaladosa to go and the first thing that the lady in the reception told that “sorry they can’t take the order now”. Very arrogant . Later a guy came and told it will be ready in 30 min. I tried to call them before I am going there, but no one attended . I asked about this in store, they told like customer service in India and they will not take phone in order . What a service .. I will never go there . Good quality also not much great, just promotions and boom ups only .

2 stars: The Gobi Manchurian was spicy, in a good way and the tall man with a white shirt on Christmas day was very kind/professional. The short, scrawny man who was at the front (perhaps a host or front desk cashier) was snarky and rude. We didnt like the tone of his voice when we first entered. One would think, you would emulate the best customer service in this country. Even if he was new to this country, he should realize that the customer comes first and he shall answer all questions so customers feel comfortable. He was very rude and unfriendly. We were gonna leave but the tall man with a white shirt was the reason we had a decent time. The Chole Bhature were ok but thats fine since its a North Indian dish, and I dont expect authenticity in that case. Dosa was basic, not fully stuffed.

First visit had MLA dosa. Totally loved it and even the thali was good. Nice idea of serving in banana leaves really felt that we were eating in india. Second visit we had different dosa even that was tasty. Overall good food. It saves us a trip to Chatsworth for veg food and this is in walking distance for us. Will go more often 😊

Okay we just had lunch here and my rating is for the customer service. We called ahead of time and asked them till when they accept customers. A guy replied 3 so we reach around 2:40ish and place our order.just ahead of us a guy was waiting for his food. He said that he had called ahead and asked for a thali and an idly wada. They said his food was packed and ready. He said he had said over the phone that he would eat in. So they had a discussion and then served him food in a plate.
