Chens was recommended by a patient. Tried it that night with my niece and we were not disappointed. The service was great, the owners took care of us and were very friendly. The food was fantastic and had enough for a couple meals of leftovers!! Already made reservations for X-Mas dinner for the family here!! Looking forward to it! This is a small, quaint little place!!

The restaurant is small, but cozy. Mom and pop type of atmosphere. Sat myself, but it was busy since it was their lunch rush and they only had two workers. I tried the basil eggplant lunch special it came with soup, salad, rice, and an egg roll. Good deals and fast service.

I cant believe this was our first time here living in Orange. Food and service was excellent! Good was cooked fresh and full of flavor. The waiter was funny and very attentive to us.Definitely be back soon!

Weve eaten carryout from Chens Panda a number of time over the years. Last night we ordered 6 dishes from Chens and the food for the most part was flavorless. Mongolian beef, HS fried rice, and mu shu pork tollerable. Hot and sour soup had no flavor to it - it was neither hot or sour. Mo Go Giapan pan absolutely no flavor to it. Cashew chicken - contained no cashews (it was chicken and water chestnuts). Ususally I buy enough to have leftovers in the morning - in this case a lot of the food went directly into the garbage. The quality of food has really declined in the past couple of years (not sure if they changed cooks/are under new ownership). Very disappointing meal from Chens, bad enough that we will no longer eat there again. Before placing this order, we remembered how bad the food was in our previous order there, and decided to give them another chance - which turned out to be a mistake.

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants weve tried in Anaheim Hills/North Tustin area. Friendly service with tasty dishes. Ordered Hot & Sour soup, Pan-fried Dumplings, King Pao San Yan (3 kinds of meat: beef, chicken & shrimp), House Special Pan-fried Seafood Noodles and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Everything was tasty. Brought our dad here for an early Fathers Day lunch. Dad was sad when his go to Chinese restaurant in Anaheim Hills closed down several years. He was really happy when I found this restaurant only 5 mi from his home.

Fantastic service! Very hospitable. The chicken was undercooked and got me and my friend terribly sick. I dont think I would come back based off this first experience. If I did, I would stick to veggies and soup.

The people at the restaurant were nice and polite. The food was below average. I had curry chicken and my guest had orange chicken and I seriously have done much better at home. Im not a chef and neither is their cook. Moreover the price was high. Go there if you want average food at a high price. Otherwise you dont like good Chinese food and you have money to burn.

Wife and I have been going here for 10 years at a rate of about 20 visits a year, so we are giving feedback after 200 or so visits. Overall the service is good, the food is good, and the prices are good for what you get. The atmosphere is simple and decor is plane. Its a whole-in-the-wall, mom and pop kind of place. Its not fancy at all. Sometimes it gets crowded and its not very big as its in a strip center. Its also our #1 go to for chinese food. My mom visits a few times a year and always want to eat here. I rarely give out 5 stars but really Id give it a 4.5 if I could.

We have been doing take out for years from Chens. It is our favorite. The food is consistently delicious, well flavored, perfectly sauced and delightful. We have never been disappointed. With Covid, wait times for pick up are getting a little longer but not crazy. Easy in and out, friendly staff, excellent prices for quantity and quality. Wor Won Ton is perfect for comfort with a cold or just anytime. So happy it is close by.

Friends of ours go here at least once a month and they decided to take me there for my birthday. What a great birthday gift. This is no run of the mill Chinese restaurant. This is gourmet Chinese dining at affordable prices. We had their basil infused chicken which is to die for as well as the best won ton soup that Ive found since my favorite little Chinese hangout disappeared. The service was attentive and friendly. Were definitely going back, maybe more than once a month!

Small secluded Chinese Restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, due to current Covid-19 situation, take out only.We have only taken out dinners 5 times and not disappointed once. Almost every dish can be custom order if allergies are an issue. While waiting for your fresh food to be made, there is a major grocery store next doorIf you want to get wine, flowers and dessert for a perfect romantic night?But hands down, our favorite Chinese Restaurant and worth driving 15 miles one way,

The food is delicious, but its better to get take-out than to eat in the restaurant. The service is really bad. We asked our waiter three or four times, in English and in Putonghua, to bring proper eating utensils. He never did. We finally asked a different waiter, who promptly brought us the chopsticks. We asked several times for tea, which never came. He served one of the dishes before the soup, then the other dish ten minutes later. We cancelled the soup. He brought the dumplings but not the sauce. We had to ask twice for the sauce, which finally came seven minutes later. We had leftovers of one of our dishes, and asked for a box to take it home, and also for the bill. The waiter took tge dish away. After ten minutes, I went up to the counter to ask for the bill, and for the leftovers. The dish was still sitting on the lower counter, where our waiter had left it and walked away ten minutes earlier. The chopsticks waiter, not our waiter, put the food into a box for me.We will still spend money here, bur only for take-out. The food really is very good.

Food wasnt good, they really should use better quality chicken. My order was incorrect & you could taste the MSG. Very pricey for what you get. The appetizer platter looked like it was sitting for a couple days; or scraped off someone elses plate. Never would recommend.

Only food item that I have tried is the wonton soup. Its filled with wontons, shrimps and vegetables in a flavored broth with the right amount of salt. I havent tried any other dishes cause I just love their wonton soup. If their soup is this good, chances are their other dishes are just as good. Give them a try and youll appreciate their friendly service.

Wanting to experience chens for quite some time now finally came. i got their orange glazed chicken. immediately its 3 stars to me for the abundant chicken ratio to rice right off the bat. however the chicken was not fresh. the orange glaze was great although not spicy as i was expecting. i loved that it was speckled with chopped green onions and red peppers but over proved to be a mild overall. the dish did had some body to which i liked. it just the ongoing fact that the chicken was not fresh that was messing my first time experience. also i was not offered chili sauce at all nor was it placed on the table as an option.i just wished my experience was fresh, spicier, and did not give out free cookies with nitrates or aluminum written in the transparent wrapper a big dealbreaker. i couldnt enjoy the free cookies 🤦🏻‍♂️

Best MuShu in town!! Tangerine Beef is the BOMB..portions are huge. Well worth the $..that isnt that high (some reviews mention higher than average cost)..this is not fast food Chinese! Fresh ingredients and served from pan to plate. Not under a heat lamp in an aluminum tray!

Two stars for the food, lo Mein and pot stickers are good....Asian lady at the front desk (I ordered to go) was rude almost to the point that it made me never want to return!She has light brown hair and a bad attitude, I had already ordered and had my toddler with me. I asked for a cup of water to go and I would pay if needed. She was pretty nasty about it first completely ignoring my request then said ok and looked for a cup(without much effort) and then said she only had water to give her in a glass cup, ok? No to go cups I guess? Just an all around nasty attitude here! No wonder the place was empty....I dont think Ill be back here.

My entire family has been eating Chens Panda for 18 years! (That more people then i can count)I was ten years old when I first had the Mushu Pork. (NO LIE) It was my instant favorite. And is still my favorite to this day!Dont listen to that other guy saying he got food poisond. Ive never been. And theyve been a once or twice a month meal since I was 10.Order takeout. Its ready in 15 mins.Family ownd. The son Danial is exceptional. My guess he knows the entire cities residents by name. (or all that eat the food)GO TO CHENS GET THE MUSHU PORK!
