They keep the place clean. Laundry room is pretty nice. Womens showers could use a face-lift. And no buffer wall to freeway noise has been put up. Fifteen years ago, they told us they were in the process of building one. Its really noisy at night. Most personal are exceptional.
Stayed awhile back and my fiance and I still laugh and make jokes about how or presentation rep told us if we wanted to sign up we would need to do it right then and there and that we would be black listed and would NEVER be able to join if we leave the meeting. Everyone was polite but Im not making g a 15k decision in 1 hour so we Obviously passed. Were full timers and this membership was 1000% not worth it. Met a lady at the laundry room that told me she was staying in one of their cabins and signed up for the membership. She told me she didnt even have a RV or a way to tow one. Yikes.
One of our least favorite stays and parks yet and we got the 5 day free promotional but they tell you when you sign up that if you attend the meeting that you get a bunch of incentives but incentives you attend they tell you after that you have to buy to get them and the offer to buy in is outrageousThe park was very badly set up also right on the highway instead of having the storage there and the park just off the highway so it was annoyingly loud the entire time and the spaces are ridiculously close together and double parked and there is no privacy at all and they end up cleaning all the facilities at the main time when people want to use them and it throws everyones day offWe couldnt wait for the promotional to be over and get back to peaceful rving
We spent four nights there in our camper with the incentive of staying for free if listening to a 60 minute sales presentation. We were not given a choice of appointments. The swimming pool was ICE COLD even though they said it is heated in the winter. The spa has not worked for many months. One employed worker said it was because of a missing part that was on back order. Such garbage. The highway noise is terrible! Why havent they constructed a wall to muffle the sound? The electric hookups are very poorly maintained. The staff was very stuffy, not wanting to communicate. Management asked the guests to water any grassy areas near their assigned spot and the noise of new campers arriving after dark was very disruptive. The showers, bathrooms and laundry are spotless. There was a huge ICE machine that charged $6 for a two pound bag of ice, but no one available to unlock the ice machine! My favorite part was the ducks. They are unafraid and walk around and swim in the two ponds. That wouldve been amazing except for the very noisy freeway just a chain link fence away. IT NEEDS A WALL. The fact that it was free was cool. By the way, the so-called membership started at $7,000 with very paired down amenities. The full package for other campgrounds was a cool $15k.
Ruben and Tamara are unprepared managers who dont value customers. Not only are they unprofessional but Tamara made me feel uncomfortable from her advances towards me. Her husband, Ruben, was very disrespectful to my wife and attempted to violate her space. Im seeking legal action! Do not come here while theyre in charge!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Loud noise by the freeway goes all night the pool is super small and needs to be resurface you will cut your feet in some areas. The pond is about one foot deep and very small it is not a lake fishing would be a waist of time. The park had a power outage from early morning until the afternoon it was incredibly hot and I live in palm springs about the same temp but more humid. The ones was incredibly mean as we asked how much a lats checkout would be she replied you can stay 2 extra hours for 50dollars there is more but I will leave it at that
Great place for the family. Place does require a membership. If you want to sit through the presentation of what the place offers, you can. I recommend you guys coming here if you want a great place to stay with the family with full RV hookups, a pool, laundry facilities. When you have a membership, you can visit other parks
For the membership price.....they really need to do some better upkeep on their property. Lime deposits everywhere in the shower stalls, roads filled with debris, campsite light posts not working, unlevel pads and dirt all in the bottom of the pool. Other then that....I HAD A GREAT TIME!
The clubhouse and laundry room look like they have had a recent makeover. Really nice billiard tables and kitchenette in the clubhouse. The pool and spa are very well maintained. The only downside to this park is the noise from the freeway. Plus, no direct offramp from the freeway to the campground can make getting there a little tricky. Otherwise, a nice rv campground.
The staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the sales team. We were able to book a cabin the same day we signed up! The sales team was genuinely helpful and went above and beyond to work with us on our unique situation so we could swing the membership. Were happy campers for sure! The park was small but we enjoyed the facilities and there were activities geared towards everyone in the family, even our furry little guy!!
Camp sites are right on top of each other ponds where nice ground where clean along with clean showers and bathrooms night security is a mess
Decent rv park. Doesn’t look like luxury but they have nice amenities. Stayed for 7 days. Staff was very nice. We had no issues besides water being cut off a couple of times but for no more then an hour. Definitely will be back! They also have a SUPER nice youth center for the kiddos.
The sign on the highway, after a long day driving, looked attractive. After turning, driving back down the highway, following Google to the park, we were told you must schedule a time for a presentation. Nowhere did the roadside advertising suggest this is a Private, Members Only RV Park. After telling the manager that failing to mention this on either of their signs was deceptive, she responded that it was my problem. I resent being lured off the highway to find the advertising left out a very important bit of information and I had wasted time I needed to find a place to spend the night. Isnt that called Bait and Switch?
Ive been here many times before and have had a great experience! A Man driving in a kart passed by saw me struggling trying to fire up the grill, went filled up our Propane tank to the Grill that was included in our stay and was so helpful and nice! Great prices on meals, make your own ice cream day add toppings... Activities are fun! Very sweet and friendly at the youth center, I do understand some things are taking a while to repair due to COVID-19! I do wish staff can limit the amount of time people reserve tables by the pool or atleast tell them if they are going to be gone for a while to please be considerate!
Tamara the manager here is great she went out of her way to help me they have full hookups a laundry room and shower theres a clubhouse and a cute little pond that has ducks in it... They are pet friendly 😀🦴🐾.
The sites are a little tight but they are level and paved. The staff is very helpful in setting up. It is close to the interstate, but the noise is not too bad. We would come here again. We came here using RPI.
Although this park is clean and the price is amazing, know that the photos are very outdated. It does not look this nice. They do keep it clean. Due to COVID-19 all the recreation area (pool and jacuzzi) were closed still. Theres nothing close by that you could walk to. This park leans up against the 10 fwy so youll always hear the noise and smell the car exhaust (they say you get used to it.) Its not a bad place for the price. If the exhaust smell didnt bother me, I would want to stay there.
Their proximity to the interstate, makes it noisy 24/7. Could use some repairs; picnic tables, power connection stands (those hit by vehicle). Their male restroom could use a good cleaning. I happen to go in after it was cleaned and saw feeces splattered on the wall behind the commode. Nice pond that could use a bit more TLC. Witnessed a tenant drive up to the pond area, carried his small dog to do its business and failed to scoop the poop. The spa is not enclosed contrary to brochure. The dog walk area is just a fenced up patch of dirt. Fruit trees were awesome and allowed to pick fruits. Its almost funny how they use this park to entice RVers to join the Colorado River Adventure Club, not with that park in those conditions. They can keep their club and $500 annual maintenance fee (what maintenance?).
Really enjoyed our M-F stay here. Nice quite place. Got to know a very nice neighbor Donna. Now I have a new friend. ☺ The grounds are well kept. Has two ponds with catch/ release fishing. Kids playground and youth center. Clubhouse and kitchen on weekends. Drawback is its a membership only. 😕 Just can swing that at the moment. 😢 A big Thank You to Stephanie @ check-in for explaining the program and being so understanding.
Wanted some where close to get away with the family. The website made this place look absolutely amazing! We came in on a Friday evening around 7:00 pm. We learned quickly that there is zero communication between upper management and the people who actually work here. We reserved a spot big enough for our 38 5th wheel and when we got to the camp ground, the employees there had no idea something that big was coming in. When we finally got into our tiny camp site (very close to neighbors, was only able to put our slides out 3/4 of the way) the kids played on the tether ball court and we walked the dogs around. The staff was helpful and even provided cones to surround our 5th wheel hitch. Saturday morning we had our interview/meeting to join their membership. We politely declined and was given some goodies even though we declined the membership. They did not make us feel guilty for saying no, but they made it clear we can NEVER stay at any of their camp grounds again. We spent the rest of the day trying to fish in their teeny tiny ponds. The ponds are a joke and the cute little wood bridge you walk across to get from the pool to the campers is not very safe. Lots of wiggly boards and a few broken pieces in the bridge (not safe for kids, elderly or dogs). We did enjoy the pool, which seemed to be a free-for-all. Lots of people drinking and having a blast at the pool. We did however notice lots of the plastic chairs were broken and there was broken chair pieces all over the ground in the pool area. My husband did kill a black widow near the entrance gate to the pool. The noise of the traffic is the worst thing about this place! You cant hear anything going on around you. Its absolutely horrible!!! Its very hard to even carry a conversation with anyone near you because of the loud freeway noise. The only saving grace of this place was the Youth center. Bob and Debbie (I hope I got their names right) are amazing! The Youth Center is amazing! I enjoyed it almost as much as my kids did! This campground is clean for the most part. It does photograph quite nicely. It is a small camp ground which can be nice for some. If they got rid of the freeway noise and spruced up the fishing ponds a bit we probably would have joined their wack-a-doo membership. It has lots of potential and could be something absolutely wonderful but until then I will take my trailer else where (obviously because I declined their membership offer). I probably wont recommend this place to anyone. If it was the nightly rate for anyone (not just members) like it advertises on the side of the freeway that would be a different story.
Nice private resort in Cherry Valley near Yucaipa and Beaumont. Wonderful facilities with laundry, pool, Jacuzzi, barbecues, 2 Fishing lakes, park like setting, plenty of trees, nice views of the sunsets, well kept, clean, friendly staff, easy pull-through sites and more!Must be a member to stay. Once in a lifetime free camping if you take a tour. But if you don’t sign up, you’ll never be allowed to stay there again. The tour is about a hour and the packages start at about $10K and up! They have many other resorts to stay once you sign up.It is along the I-10 interstate so the traffic noise is up there! But not to bad really. I’ve enjoyed my stays there.
Drove through and inspected park. Poorly maintained. Most RV sites are short and skinny.
We stayed in Trailer #81. It is a travel trailer with a queen bed and bunk beds. The trailer itself was ok size. I stayed with my husband and 4 kids. We were able to sleep comfortably. The only complaint was the tiny tiny bathroom. There was barely any room for me to fit in there. Then we had ants in the closet, but they gave us ant spray to fix that problem.I love that the property has tether ball, volleyball, playground, pool, and clubhouse for the kids to be entertained. Its a small RV park but they have lots of sites and even cabins you can stay in. Very beautiful pond and grassy area. The freeway is right next to the RV Park so those closest to the freeway can hear the cars. Overall, decent place to stay.There is a grocery store, starbucks, and some fast food restaurants about 7 min away.
The people here were very nice and the park was decent. However the bathroom in our cabin rental had so much mold growing in it that my husband was having a hard time breathing. Also there was a dirty diaper under the sink, a used razor in the shower, and other various trash. The sliding door also didnt lock.
Not happy. After making reservations to stay here a week previous, we arrive to find out there was no space for us. We are both Coast to Coast and RPI members, however, we were told that we would have to sit through a sales pitch about their program before we could stay. Although we thought it very bizarre we agreed to this. I when we arrived for the sales pitch, they told us we could not have the tour because we are Canadians. They put us in a 30 amp site although we need a 50 amp for our 40 foot rig. We were told we could move to a better site the following day, which didn’t happen as for “members “we’re ahead of us.” When we lowered our jacks they sunk into the ground, the sites are very unevenI do not normally write reviews however I thought this should be noted by management. We will certainly never grace the doors of this place again.Elaine Swinton

This place lies on its road sign saying to come in $10 for the night full hook ups. They do this just to lure you off the highway then they want you to have a reservation and be a member of a club I never heard of. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place at all costs.
Plenty of others have accurately described the problems here. Staff were friendly and facilities were clean, but nothing can make up for the sales department. Being right up against the freeway doesnt help either. Also, the meat served at dinner seemed off to me. Couldnt have been too bad as I didnt get violently ill, but my digestive system was a little askew the next day.
Folks are nice and courteous.The ground and facility are kept cleaned. All water fountains and pond are working. Due to precautions of CoVid, pool and jacuzzi closed, same as indoor common eating area. Miss those yummy breakfasts. There are Flos Country Kitchen, Bakers down the road. Up the hill, 15 minutes is Oak Glen and one can spend a day up there. Outlets and casino 30 minutes east

Wanted to check out the membership & what they offered. Yes we had to listen to a 90 min. Meet & greet but it was very casual & NO PRESSURE! WE STAYED 3 NIGHTS GOT A $200. GAS VOUCHER & opportunity to stay at there resorts for a year with a HUGE discount. Highly recommend visiting!..oh yeah also received a tablet just for visiting!
This is our home away from home. We have created so many memories with our children. I really love the free firewood and amazing low cost breakfast. All the resorts are beautiful. So glad I am a member. I feel so welcomed everytime my family stays here
Made appointment for stay. Confirmed 3 times. I told them that we had a graduation on Friday, but could do the tour Thursday Saturday or Sunday. We go to check in and they told me either we attend tour on Friday or we cant stay. Left us high and dry trying to find another place. Very rude. Will not schedule again.

Very disappointing that there was no disclosure that the park was so close to the freeway. The noise was terrible. Again disappointing not to have a fire. Most of the facilities was run down in major need of a remodel. (We only stayed one night).
SCAM, AVOID THIS DUMP!!! Communication with “corporate” and “staff” is absolutely awful, none of the multiple phone numbers listed allow you to reach a live person, and only go to voice mail.Waited over an hour and a half to check in once I arrived because I couldn’t reach anyone, because the only way to contact staff was through 1-800 numbers, and a walki-talkie mounted to the wall. 🙄There are also tons of dilapidated and rundown RV’s in the park.The managers are alcoholic clowns that live in the park for free, and are awful at doing their simple jobs. There is a reason why they offer 7 free nights, that’s the only way they can get people to this park in the first place....
We are displaced from the ElDorado Fire, so called to make reservations here. We were told we would need to attend a brief meeting on Wednesday when we made the reservation. Upon arrival, we were only given one available time 10:30 am. I am a teacher and cannot just stop class to attend a meeting. They will not allow my husband to attend alone. We offered 11:30 or after 3:30, but the only time they are available is 10:30 am. We could not even pay to stay. I cannot believe you are leaving a disabled US Veteran/firefighter and a teacher who are already displaced by a fire with nowhere to go in their RV. Completely unprofessional.
Looks better online.I sat through the 2 ish hours of sales, took the tour, was promised $100 in gas card and a few other things and left with non of it. They say you can stay for free at any of their many locations but they really only had 5 locations. Oh and their stay at any of our sister locations for no more than $10/night is totally not true.Keep shopping peeps.
Probably the worst RV park around. Employees were rude and the place is run down. Bathrooms and showers are not well kept. We were scheduled to be there a few days but left due to how we were treated and the overall atmosphere of this RV park. Very hard to sleep as it is extremely close to the freeway. Make sure you have stabilizers on because the wind is rough year round.
Nice smaller campground! We love spending time here, location is great right off the 10. They have the best coffee and provide fresh water and ice. The pool area is great and the hot tub very relaxing. All the amenities are great, laundry room with lots of washers and dryers, showers, playground, small catch and release ponds, kids club (thurs-sun) with great staff. Sites are all pull through and the ones closest to the storage area are larger. We don’t mind the freeway noise it doesn’t bother us at all and cell service is great! They have a multipurpose room with kitchen that sometimes sales food. Pool table, horseshoes, tetherball, other activities. Staff is great and they keep the property very clean.

Hot water was not available so showers were closed! There’s a pool and hot tub but not a lot to do!No store, no bar, parks it’s right by Highway time gets a little noisy. They cram so many people in here that you can literally open your slide and it will be very close person slide next to you in the next campsite. Place is cute but it could be a little bit more efficient
1/2/2021 = 3 star = We Bought a new RV Trailer and We get Free to book on some of RV Sites . This is our 2nd Campsite that we booked . Me and my wife attend the required Membership Presentation, they never force us to buy the membership but if you did not get it same day, you will not eligible to get the membership anymore even you change your mind after a week or a month . My purpose to try all several property and pick the best deal . They give us 7in tablet and $200 mail rebate gift card . But need to register and process will take upto 6 to 8 months to get the rebate, when we try the tablet it didnt work we try to wait until battery is full charge and still didnt work, when we connect charger we can see indicator if already full, but still wont turn on . We call Security to ask what to do, Stephanie Called Sales Manager Donna and Donna bring us replacement, we try to wait again to a full charge before power it on, 2nd Tablet replacement still didnt work, I just laughed and said forget it. I still give more star because of Stephanie and Donna help us for replacement. Maybe we just have no luck on it . LOL ...... Thanks again for a free stay .

Good place to camp, close to local businesses. Its right next to the I-10 so you hear traffic all the time, but it just sounds like running water or wind. I have no problem sleeping at night. Showers and facilities are clean. I will definitely come back often.
Was given a complimentary weekend to check the place out great. After a whole day of driving we finally arrived at the park in the pitch black a bit after 7. Had an employee show us to our spot and left, didnt check to make sure we were in the right spot and all good, turns out the spot he assigned us to didnt have the right amperage we needed to hookup to. The picnic table on our site had 4 bags of dog poop sitting on it bc someone was too lazy to throw them away and left them where people are supposed to eat... so GROSS AND LAZY!! there was dog poop all over our site which both my husband and I stepped in... after all the frustration we left and made the hour drive home...Tried to call and make another reservation after all the trouble and they say no bc they said that we stayed for free and skipped out on their sales presentation.... we didnt stay and I explained the situation and was basically called a liar...I feel so incredibly disrespected and wont ever stay at another one of Colorado River Adventures properties.They just lost potential long time customers and any recommendations I would have given. Im flat out saying stay away!! Rude, rude and more disrespectful. Take your $ and time elswhere...
My mother has been staying at this park off and on for years and hates it. She only stays here due to the lack of other options in the Beaumont area and dreads having to return every time. For the the last two days the water has been off, no showers, no laundry facility, and it takes 30 min to fill a bucket to flush the toilet due to lack of water pressure. Management is awful to be nice. Lori has treated my mother very poorly and is always discourteous to my mother whenever she has to speak to management. Spaces are small and my mother has been hit by other campers over 10 times in the last year.
Our RV dealership gave us a trial membership to Colorado River Adventures. When you choose the resort you want to go to during your 4 day free stay you have to listen to their 1 1/2 presentation. Yes, you guessed it. A timeshare for RVs. They were so nice to us before the presentation. You have to give a yes or no answer right on the spot. There cheapest buy in was 10,000.00 and a $500.00 yearly fee. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize this is a horrible investment. When we told the sales manager we could not make a decision on a 10,000.00 investment right on the spot that didnt go over very big at all. From that point on we were treated rudely.The resort isnt that great and it backs up right against interstate 10. You hear the freeway all night long no matter where you are in the park.HORRIBLE experience for my husband and I.
Management does not support Sales staff, blaming Corporate. They in fact directly opposed what their salesman had told us to do, and the salesman bowed out, nor even backing himself! To add insult to injury, they reported to Corporate that we were not welcome there, after that conflict, as if we had been the cause! Highly unprofessional and inconsistent. I firmly believe this attitude toward us was due, at least in part, to the fact we purchased an RPI membership through another park. We did so because management staff at Cherry Valley Lakes was so rude.Additionally, we had been promised many incentives, gifts just for attending and going through the tour... one of which was a 20-day stay at the park, for free. During the initial call, with the appointment setter, from promotions, we were promised an electronic tablet, a prepaid gas card with $300 pre loaded on it, and the 20 day stay voucher, redeemable whenever. At the actual park, we were told the 20 day stay was actually only issued as a parting gift, in the event that we should decide not to purchase the membership, which we would have, had they not been so elusive about the pricing, as well as shady, and downright dishonest, overall, and grossly unprofessional, not to mention outright rude!
Unfortunately we are not going to return. Very much misrepresented in video of campground. Small spaces with no privacy. Stocked fishing ponds are no bigger than a shallow swimming pool wiith no fish. Members we spoke with were mislead by sales and expressed being lied to about membership details.
This CRA membership campground is on the small side, and right next to the I10, although the freeway noise doesnt bother us in our 5th wheel. It has a small but nice pool and spa, and a clubhouse with inexpensive meals on weekends. The steak dinner on Saturday nights is a real bargain! It also has a clean laundromat and showers. The campground workers are friendly and nice. We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it, especially around holidays when they have planned activities.
Since it is so close to the 10 frwy, it is noisy here all night long. Light sleepers beware. Its a small park and many of the sites are very close together. The sights closest to to the frwy and more noisy. The fishing pond.is catch and release only. But the park is clean and well maintained. The pool is heated all year and there is a hot tub.
This place has a lot of potential !! but the (management sucks) the blonde manager lady is a witch and is running this place to the ground!! if they got rid of the #witch & keep up with the maintenance it would be a easy 5 stars its a shame such a nice place is going to hell.
Very clean and quiet. Very friendly people helpful as well. Fishing not to good. Great for a weekend getaway. Will go back.
Small and quaint resort. Its very nice and friendly people. Definitely not for families with kids. When we went our daughter was the only child in the whole resort. I think this is more for older members.
Nice place to camp with friends. Kids space and hall could be kept up better for the price they charge for membership....but over all its nice
Full hook ups are great as was the hot tub and very nice pool. Road noise was a concern at first then just forgot about it and was not a big deal but worth noting. Will we stay there again, YES.

Resort? really? We were guests, but won’t be coming back unless we absolutely have no other options. This was probably a nice place 20 years ago but it’s obvious that they have not continued with any investments. Everything just appears to be worn out. Way too many permanent residents for my taste. How Coast to Coast can even think of this as “Deluxe” is beyond me. Oh yes you get the pleasure of listening to the 10 Freeway all day and night as a bonus.
Big disappointment. I had to give it one star wouldnt let me do no stars.Took the tour and went through the hour sales pitch for this Colorado River Adventures Resort. Swimming pool, kid size pond for fishing tennis court and club house. Thats about it. Went with a promised $200 in gas card and a tablet. Tablet is several year old model running real old version of Androud, not upgradeble. Most new apps wont run. The gas card was a joke. You have to gather 4 Shell gas receipts at least 60 days apart and mail them in. A six month process at the least. They say you can stay for free at any of their many locations with a free year trail, (they had 6 locations) BUT YOU CAN ONLY USE IT AT THIS LOCATION!.Dont waste your time.Keep shopping peeps.
I loved it here, and stayed around the month of July. There is a kids craft center which is so cute, inside they sell ice cream when its hot. There is also a cafeteria to buy food normally they make something different every day. Under the kids craft center are a bunch of kittens I caught a few cats and they are so cute although they do have a lot of fleas so watch out for that, they are wild cats so there isnt an owner. The lady in the craft center always encourages someone to take a kitten home which is very sweet. There is a pool area to swim and a jacuzzi. There is also a visitors parking lot if you want people over. The neighbors at the RV park are a little close so normally if you had an extra car you would need to park it either in the visitor section or in front of your trailer. There is also a place to BBQ, they have the little grills set up by the lake which is nice and you could have a little bon fire to roast marshmallows. There is also a laundry mat to wash your clothes I dont remember how much it costs but I remember it wasnt much just make sure you have lots of quarters.
Great place, employees are the best!!! Lov fishing the ponds for the catfish that lov to fight. It actually was on the bottom of my list until I met a few employees and stayed a couple times I have changed completely. Will always be going here when we can, great central location, so much to do. The MGR there works so hard, she is the one that makes that place go go go....
Remember your traditional camping grounds? This hidden gem still around near the freeway in Cherry Valley. If just a weekend getaway or a week or longer. The view is spectacular.
Easy to find. Easy pull in parking. Every site has a picnic table. The tables need attention. They are old wobbly and have paint chipping and opportunity for splinters. Definitely needs to be covered before use.
Well, I have mixed feelings about this park. It is convenient and I love the fact they have food here...and Taco Tuesdays rock, but the park itself is in need of repair and maintenance. The CRA parks all need TLC in a major way. Not sure what is going on with this property management but they need to get the lots leveled, add more gravel, fix potholes, and take better care of what they call lawn. The folks that work here, however, are top-notch. Now, my real beef is the size of the RV spots. You basically share a space and barely have room for slide-outs. For the price it is okay. Just okay.
Nice place, sites are small for Rv slideout, same places dont have tables, they getting to many new members now when you call for reservations is sold out,Campground needs a few changes. I see some peoples live there when they only supposed to be there 14 day.....Anyone can get in . Theres no check point. Just drive true the park enjoy the pool and live.... I see people doing it .
Not bad. Clean and friendly people. The pool is a bit small but the kids enjoyed it. The two ponds were cool to fish in.
This place is cool, friendly staff also helpful. FREE Wifi which is great, I homeschool so having access to wifi is important. The food is also good, reasonable prices too. Will be going back. They had a bounce house with a waterslide for Labor Day weekend.
All of the hook-ups are maybe 4 or 5 feet from the edge of the roadway. So if your sewer connection is in the middle of your rig, you wont be able to hook up, unless you have an extra long sewer hose. Most of the sites are pull through, paved and fairly level. The showers and restrooms are ok. Better than some, not as good as others. Theres one TV in the clubhouse with dish Network service. So no spectrum sports net (ie: no Lakers). The kitchen is closed so no food is ever served. The playground would be ok for someone maybe 7 years old and younger. The campsite is adjacent to the 10 freeway, so the traffic noise is pretty much constant. To be perfectly honest, we will not be coming back here again, even though this is the closest Colorado River Adventures campsite to our home. I hope this review helps others in picking a site.
I was invited by a sales rep to go for free but i had to go to a marketing sales pitch for 2 hrs. Well I arrived and I was told that my 1985 RV was to old and didnt meet their specifications. What they are turning down potential money for the organization but I wasnt going to let that happen so I requested a manager so I can be let onto the premises.Wow...This place is very small and close to the freeway so its very loud ALL the time. The volunteers there are rude and snobby. Also today 4/9 two weeks after I stayed i receive a call from a telemarketer 8:30 pm. Really people your place is lousy I wont recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Great place to get away and relax. Not much to do but go to the pool and walk around the ponds. But great atmosphere and great people.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!Arrived for our free weekend and they set a time for the tour when my wife was working and would not change the time. Charged me $200 as a deposit to show up for the tour. When i arrived to do the tour they said dont bother since my wife was at work and kicked me out. Had to call police for meth heads trashing the place and they didnt even kick them out. I am a nurse on call at the hospital and they didnt care that I could not leave I had to stay close to the hopsital. People were doing drugs everywhere in plain sight. The spaces are tiny and I couldnt even dump my tanks because of the layout. Manager was AWFUL. Corporate would not answer my phone calls or emails. Felt like I was living under a bridge the freeway was so loud. The pond is actually a puddle. This is a very bad company do not go to any Colorado River Adventures facilities. They even warned us at the dealership. DONT GO HERE!!
Not a fan. Wifi only in club house and that didnt even work,no store, no fire pits, Kids playground is the dirtiest and messiest! No views from any spot. The only thing that saved the trip was a happy family, stuff in town and awesome ppl next to us. (Janine and Rose, Thank you) . Cherry valley is very nice and has a few things the family can do, but the cherry valley rv resort...no thank you. Sorry.
We were promised 5 days stay for attending a sales meeting for Colorado River.... we attended and decline to purchase. We were told we had to leave the next morning before 11. There were other prizes we were promised, we will not even mention those.(I- pad, gas card.....)
This place is a big scam... They use high pressure sales tactics... They lured me into signing a contract with them on the premise of having year-round camping options because Im a full-time camper... After I made a deposit they canceled my contract because they said they do not want homeless people living at their park. All of their parts are 2 weeks at a time... I dont like that they discriminated against me... I highly discourage from doing business with this company, they may offer you a free place to stay for the night but they are going to try to force you into signing a contract take advantage of the freebie and dont sign anything thats my advice, its hard to say no but imperative
19 trailerNoisy, noisy, noisy. People wash their RVs in narrow spots getting anything you have outdoors wet and ruined, and splash water in open windows. The staff is unfriendly. The security doesnt make you feel secure and are rude. I truly hope I do not have to stay here again.
Great people but the RV spaces are way too close and uneven... and you may or may not be able to use your slides. Its very close to the highway so dont expect sounds of nature . Park is clean and kept neat.
The park turns off the water on sunday didnt tell the members it is now Tuesday and we have on water still . talk to manger told me water be on two hour on sunday.so beware if you come here .last time had no hot water for the park shower took about three week to fix . we used to like coming here but not for the pass year .something needs to done .alot of wild cats that the park feeds but not pick up so you have to watch your step when you get out of your R V
Park is clean but they told me on the phone it was a 5 star campground its like a 3 thay. PromiseMe a $200 gas card a tablet then when i got here they told me its just a joke we dont give gas cards lol i didnt think that was funny i did get 3 nights free but i didnt get the stuff the guy said i had to be 25 to get them but then thay told me i was because i didnt have a husband idk
So far we stayed there a few days we plan on staying there a few more days. So far we have had a great time. It feels very safe there everyone is friendly including the staff.
Cherry Valley Lakes is one of the best little Resorts around its quiet its safe they you keep it nice and clean and beautiful they have some big fish in the ponds even though its catch-and-release still fun and the weather is usually great all in the swimming pool and the spa always clean and heated Id recommend the place to anybody coming into the state or even locals Im going back before Christmas I just got back right now see you there
Tight spaces at Cherry Valley. We are 15 year members and have seen a lot. Current local office workers are rude and storage area is horrible. Security trailer should be placed next to gate and not on north end to prevent thefts. For $60 a month it should have keypad entry and someone at storage gate to prevent thefts. At present you have to stop at the office, leave your membership card and drivers licence in order to get a key to storage. Then, stop again at the gate and open the large/heavy gate, drive your vehicle thru and get back out and close and lock the gate again. Same routine leaving. Rocks on ground are not helpful. OR you can call someone and wait for them to show up. Not user friendly! Older RVers have an even harder time and god forbid you are in a hurry or its raining.The entire place needs a good overhaul and updating!
CV Lakes RV Park is MEMBERSHIP ONLY! Unfortunately CV lakes park is not open to the public. Sorry you have to schedule a tour in order to come into the park, and gain details, NO WALK-INS! Some people are unaware of this when first visiting.The park itself is peaceful, clean, well upkept, and more stocked then most locations. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Membership includes multiple locations, but may not be for everyone. If you travel a lot schedule a tour and take a look.
This place is clean, beautiful, conveniently located. The staff are exceptional. It would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the traffic noise from the freeway. We will be back!

Friendly atmosphere and staff, very family oriented, grounds are kept nice and clean, only real down side is the campsites are a little tight and you get the noise of the freeway. We Love coming here
My family spent the day their at the RV PARK. It was located right off the I 10 freeway. If you have a motorhome or a trailer. And need a place to stay for the night. You are about 75 miles East of Los ANGELES CALIFORNIA.
Nice, quiet place to stay.. except when they say wifi that means you have to get it only in the rec room .. but nice people stay.. definately pet friendly ..
I have stayed here a few different times with the free days that I have gained through their tour in 4 hours sit down spiel which by the way is totally not worth it but I figured Id eat up the 20 free days of camping they gave me I am a full-time RVer and I was using this park on occasion to get me by for my 10 days out of my home park with my RPI membership turns out they didnt want to accept it from me lady was very rude when I asked her why and she says that they cant do it for a year I tried to ask her the reasoning and she just hung up on me very rude I wont be visiting again

No integrity - sold me a membership then totally ch as need the deal. Place is next to the freeway with no walls for blocking the sound.Lousy place to vacation. Much better to try fishermans retreat or oak glen retreat.

Made a reservation. Asked that the presentation be for Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving waa told it was Sat could not make it on Sar Morn.was kicked out.
I was called repeatedly from colorado river resorts telling me when i purchased my rv a resort package was purchased by the rv dealership for me to use......so finally after months of putting it off what seemed like a gift package from the dealership which was to include free nights camping....an i pad and upgraded gift package.....i get to the beaumont ca location and am told by the rude older bleach blonde lady as she snickered and shook her head no not here......no package no gifts......no free camping......California river resorts and cherry valley lakes dont buy into it. oh p.s if i sat thru the 90 minute shpeal(which on the phone i was told it was just to explain my gift package) and i didnt buy i wasnt allowed to use thier parks or any affiliated parks for 2 years....what a sham.....and the office personnel was just rude.
We were very disappointed in this resort. Sites could not accommodate our rig and trailer. 50amp service is only available on a few sites....if its working! Campsites were small and not appealing. Lots of freeway noise. We ending up driving away and not staying.
Lady working there does not have any any idea how to do her job. Also they over book so when you get there you have no where to go. They also do not take coast to coast I wo uld not recommend to go there.
My family and I stayed here for a few weeks during the summer, we really enjoyed our stay really nice place.Well maintained, and the staff are really great and will help you out with anything you need.
Nice place cool folks, if you like ants invading your RV, flys at your outdoor table this is the place for you, if you like the gardener blowing dust and dirt through your camp site while sitting at your outdoor table with your windows and door open this place is for you, they need a store a snack bar and a place for adults to hang out, other than that not a bad place, enjoy your stay

No wi-fi, no cable, the play ground was filthy and limited space the only nice area there is the ponds where you fish.
This was a better experience than wed had before. Did have a snotty experience with checkin on the Sunday we arrived there. Other than that all the other personnel were very accommodating.
Very friendly staff decent amount of amenities & not far from some good food / shopping places!
Went for there time share presentation and only show us a cabin and not around the property and we didnt get our camping package look ok from what we could see but was way to many people in the pool for covid is rising right now and to expensive for the RV membership
I absolutely love staying at cherry valley lakes - close to the city located just in the foothills of cherry valley it’s a peaceful get away with lots of fun for all ages - and the fishing is amazing here- rennet catch and release only.
This is a membership RV/camping park. It is clear that many of the posts are not aware of that. They are open to allow non-members to stay if you are considering a membership. The membership includes many parks in CA, AZ and Baja. I like this park because it is not too far away from home, staff and members are very friendly and it has everything you need for camping and RVing. Even meals at the club house!
Awesome place to bring your family. They got an activity room and catch release, free fishing. Always very clean pool and facilities.

This place took one look at us and hauled ass the other way stating that they are not an over night camp site, that they are NOT a RV park and no they are NOT 10 dollars a night. So the signs that you read and what you see on the website are false advertisement. Bait and Switch. What a waste of time. Might as well a Walmart parking lot
No TV, very noisy, small spaces. Couldnt open all our slides, 30 amp. Dont recomnend.

4 of 8 dryers have been down for over 2 months. Jacuzzi was cold for 2 days and office was closed a lot.
We were there for over a week and most of the staff were nice but the front gate office ladys daughter has got to be the rudest most unfriendly little girl I have ever seen and she doesnt even pick up her dogs poo .
Decent place to stay on the edge of L.A. The pet friendly cabins are a lifesaver for our large family and pets. Looking forward to our next stay.

This rv park is private but it is run down there is a lot of run down rv there is a lot of full time people I am a member and I dont use this park anymore because of the way it looks it use to be very nice not now.

Kareoke night was a Blast, The couple who manage this place do a wonderful job! They treat you like your part of their family. Great Food too! Rosa & Cesar in the kitchen make the best food! Highly recommended!!!

2023-09-04 02:36:37My husband and I went out two weeks ago and got our trip cut short because of Hurricane Hillary coming in. During our short visit the staff was all amazing. The bathrooms were clean and we signed up for the membership to take advantage of the new adventures ahead with our new camper. We visited again this weekend and had a spot by the lake. Even though we were right by the bridge and walkway it was a very peaceful spot. The cookout was great Saturday night and then there was live music. Looking forward to visiting again plus the other campgrounds in the group. The freeway is a little much at times but really the only complaint I would say we have.

2023-09-28 05:49:26Its night and day since new managers. Tara and her husband ruben have done a great job with cleaning the place up. It feels like a family environment now as before it seemed like people up to no good staying there permanently. Place is cleaner. This place would be more awesome if they installed a sound wall at freeway fence line. Thats my only thing especially if you camp in the 70s spots. But it wont stop us from coming. We love this place.

The offer is you pay $12K upfront and then $500 annually just to qualify to pay $69 per night for a stay in this next to freeway noisy place. The tablet is a 7-year-old no brand Chinese tablet that you cant run anything on it. The $200 gas redemption is a false promise. Long story short: dont waste your time and gas and car mileage driving there listening to some nonsense.

The other guest are also just like what it used to be years ago. Everyone says hello and talk to each other with genuine heart felt community. We can’t blame the whole park for 2 bad apples.

2023-11-15 11:19:50It all starts out to be good when they solicit you by phone with a 4 day 3 night stay for free. The very first day you get set up the maintenance man has nothing better to do than watch you setting up with his binoculars and then he rolls up to make sure your hose isnt leaking from their rotted out hose bib that is rusted and Corroded. And the electrical pedestal is falling out of the ground. Beware not to get electrocuted when you plug in!!!! The laundry room will gladly take your 20 dollars quickly because you have to purchase a laundry room credit card 💳 for 10 dollars and then add money to it so your first load of laundry will set you back 20 bucks minimum At $20 a load youre better off to send it out to have it dry cleaned. In my bookThis park is way too overstaffed too many people rolling around in golf carts doing nothing. The tour hosts will be banging on your door just after the maintenance man finishes bitching you out for the water leak. The reason he uses that excuse is they run on well water. The real reason is this place is older than Freemont Street in Las Vegas and their pump is 50 years old and cannot handle the full time Tennants that are employed by this adventure that live in the park along with the full time 95 year old club that have a 500.000.00 dollar motorhome with landscaping and live on the outside row and dont get out of bed until noon. Dont dare disturb them or you will be asked to leave. This place is a SCAM bottom line. Its all about the Benjamin Franklin thing 🙌. Im a California and Arizona firefighter 🚒 and not one bit of respect from anyone from the Colorado River Adventures people trying to sell you a membership that EXCLUDES SINGLE PEOPLE. 2023-04-30 21:52:50The clubhouse and pool area are nice but small. The rv sites are pretty nice. There are shade trees. The park is right next to the highway and its very noisy! The meals they serve from the clubhouse kitchen are good! They even hosted a car show on the premises, which was cool!
