2022-08-31 12:06:08Excellent African store. I found it by mere accident. I was surprised a random internet search took me there. The name sounded similar to another one I used to patronize in San Jose all the way from Hayward. The store is neat and the young lady running the store when I arrived had excellent customer service. Theres a wide variety of African groceries. Despite a lack of parking space, Ill still give this store 5 stars. Ill be shopping here for a long time to come!

2022-10-06 23:30:32Great experience! It was my first time shopping here or any African store in general. Im Southeast Asian but one of my favorite dishes is Egusi Soup and Fufu. I used to get my fixing at a restaurant in Oakland, but recently their quality went downhill so I figured I can try to make it myself. The store is quite large for a mom and pop store and they have been open since 2007. I went in around noon on a weekday, and there was only a few other people in the store shopping and one young woman working at the register. I forgot to grab her name but she was so kind and welcoming! She even recommended me another place nearby called Golden Safari (which I must check out now), and made great conversation. They had a pretty good selection for African food basics, and multiples of each from different brands. For example, they had several brands of Fufu powder, several different brands of Palm Oil, etc. They also had deep freezers full of goat meat, chicken, tripe, other stew meat. They were out of iru when I was there, but the young woman gave me an alternative, ogbiri paste, which is very similar. Even gave me tips on how a little goes a long way.The only thing to complain is perhaps the prices since it was on the higher end, but I completely understand since there is so many import fees and inflation is screwing us all over. From my research, this place is better than Man Can Wak in Oakland. Such a great experience here, that I can oversee that and can definitely see myself back here again.

2020-06-13 06:12:43I was looking for a new store to buy food that I could use to make traditional Nigerian dishes. It was a regular day like just like any other for me, I was driving down international when Ezukas colorful sign caught my eye I quickly spun my car around so I could get a closer look. Could it be the answers to my prayers? Yes, it was upon entering the store I was greeted with a warm friendly smile from a young lady that assisting some customers. To my amazement they still had rice I wish someone could have captured the look on my face. Finally, after more than 15 stores I had been to this place had rice and not just some off-brand they had Royal Basmati Rice!! I quickly picked up a bag, with plantains, tomatoes, onions malt and how could I forget the chin chin I saw perfectly placed by the cash register. They were by far the best chin chin I had tasted since leaving Nigeria. I definitely would recommend you picking up a bag or two trust me you wont regret it. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable especially the young lady Chidinma. She is full of life, always smiling and ready to help you find what you need. She also tells good jokes dont tell her I said so. LoL!! Ezuka is the place for all your African food needs and if your lucky every now and then they have ready to go suya. You heard it here first, this suya is as close as it will get to Suya you can get back home in Nigeria. Comfam!!
