Tasty Vegan spot serving up tacos, burritos, and fusion dishes. Every item we ordered had good flavor and texture. You dont have to be a vegan to enjoy this spot. They also offer desserts. We tried the pumpkin muffin with a cream cheese frosting. Delish!

I ate here with some friends and the food was SOOOO good! Its a bit difficult to sit together inside when theres more than 3 people, but I cant hold that against this place. The vibe and decor in there is fun. I got a mexgogi burrito with their spiciest sauce, and I think it was the best burrito Ive ever had. I will be back!

I love the concept of the restaurant - it being vegan for the animals. However i ordered tacos and would’ve preferred for the tortilla to be bigger. Protein portions were great but the tortilla was too small to hold. Either way i had a pleasant experience.

I was coming off day 3 of WonderCon. We were exhausted & hungry. I picked up some snacks from a local vegan vendor after the con. I asked her for food recommendation. She said Chicana Vegana was her favorite local place. It looked so good & we were starving at this point. Parking was full, but not horrible for Sunday evening. The locale was small with small tables, so not good for groups. Apart from that, the vibes were cute & good. Cashier was nice with a great smile. The restroom was clean. Food was ready fairly quick. All the food was good. Nothing outstanding; still delicious. The vegan Al Pastor was one of the better ones Ive had. My friend who is not vegan was happy with his tacos. We will definitely be coming back if we ever find ourselves in Anaheim again (yes, yes we will).

Delicious food and wonderful service. A must visit for any vegan/vegetarian. They were accommodating and clear on what did/didn’t have nuts in it since I’m allergic.I’m going to be thinking about the animal-less fries for a very long time.Can’t wait for a chance to go back!

We decided to try this place out instead of going to the Vegan fair. Im sure glad we did. We ordered a couple Asada tacos, and two burritos. These burritos are huge. They remind me of Cali Tacos. You could easily give these to a non Vegan and they wouldnt know the difference. We both loved the tacos too. Our tummies were happy when we left. Everything on the menu looked so good, we cant wait to come back. I noticed they have a loyalty program so well sign up for that next time

This place is great! Always consistent with the good food. One of my favorites is the Philly melt with all its flavors of everything in it always fresh. If they have 3 leches out I always get one those are some of the best Ive ever had! The other day they had some cupcakes and those were bangin also! Staff is always nice and helpful.

Best nachos I’ve ever had. The cashew cheese and cashew sour cream taste amazing, they are not too nutty or chalky. They are smooth and flavorful. I wish that they had more locations closer to LA and Hollywood. So worth the drive. The only downside is the amount of single use plastic and other materials that aren’t easily recycled or composted.

All the food was delicious as you can see the photos below I mean absolutely delicious. I wish I can give this place a six star instead of a five star. This is a very upbeat hip restaurant the staff were very friendly so many smiles and genuine connection. The french fries oh my God where I dont know where they got those french fries from maybe from heaven. The chili cheese fries were great too could have eased up on the sodium a little bit but I guess thats just a personal choice. The vegan burgers oh my God they put veggie grill to shame. The nachos were amazing oh my God they were out of this world. Everyone needs to go check out this restaurant it should be in Hollywood somewhere and if it was it would be the top vegetarian restaurant. If these restaurants could get a #Michelinstar this restaurant most definitely would for my personal opinion.

Obligatory — I’m not vegan! However, one of my sisters is, another is vegetarian, and many of my other family members have been vegetarian at one point or another in their life (including me). That being said — I know good food!This is 100% the best vegan Mexican food you will ever try. I say this as a Chicana who grew up in San Diego. This food will make you not even miss a California burrito because theirs is THAT good. Their spicy salsa is actually spicy too! I’ve also had their carne asada fries and they’re soooo good.My biggest gripe is the price, honestly. It’s ~$17 to get half of what you get at a traditional taco shop. It is vegan, though, so I kiiiiinnnddddd of understand. I’m sure making vegan dairy products is expensive, considering it’s from cashews 😅I haven’t tried their burgers yet but I’m willing to bet they’re phenomenal, too. For sure check this place out if you’re vegan or maybe just want to be a little more ethical in your meal choice. It will hands down be the best Mexican vegan food you’ve ever had and you won’t be missing the meat!

We always make it a point to come to Chicana when we’re in Orange County or going to LA. Always 5 stars, their Cashiers are always super friendly and their food always top notch. Try the Carne Asada Fries with the Animal Fries sauce and you’re in heaven. Please bring back the Shrimp tacos 🤤

Lovely mural inside! There are plenty of seats inside and they are working on their backyard patio seating, they also have a table and chairs out front too.My server was so kind, loved her energy, was so welcoming and helped me out with my order with every step. I wouldnt mind coming back just to receive this amount of great service again!If you are hungry, vegan, or in the area, I highly recommend you stop by!Note for business though, it would be amazing if you could extend your hours, closing at 8pm this close to downtown doesnt mix well. There are so many times I am in the area craving food from here but I check and see that it is already 8pm and I am left disappointed. Hence why I have only been here 2 times despite being in the area almost weekly. Your sign is bright pink and can definitely attract many people! This vegan place in Fullerton is the bomb diggety 🤧their pumpkin spice horchata REALLY hit the spot, and I like that they have desserts from other fellow Latinx owned bakeries. Their mexgogi tacos were delicious, it reminded me of when I used to go to KBBQ 🥹Definitely check it out!! (But those with nut allergies watch out for the cashew cheese 👀)

AMAZING TACOS. Im so happy I found this place. My dad and I dont eat meat but we used to love tacos. I came in with him and he was very hesitant but it was SO GOOD. It was our first time and we realized once home, they gave us an extra taco. Im not sure if it was a mistake or they were being nice (I mentioned it was our first time and I was so excited) but either way it was much appreciated.Super delicious, this spot is going to be a regular for us.

It was 2 of us in our party and after seeing the menu online we were still clueless on what to get. The cashier Matthew was a breath of fresh air and knowledgeable regarding the menu and he was very funny!!( like Ive known him for years). I decided upon the Dreamin Burger with fries and it was freakin AMAZING!! THEE BEST VEGAN BURGER Ive had in a very very long time. The bacon on it was caramelized with a hint of maple, it came with guac,thousand island, caramelized onions, tomatoes and lettuce.The birthday girl got the mexigogi street tacos and she said, she was beyond impressed and was blown away that they were vegan and flavorful. If youre ever in Fullerton, you must swing by and check them out. They are also a women owned Latin X restaurant.. Shout out to all the women making it happen!!! I will definitely be back and I will not mind driving all the way back to Fullerton for my taste buds to be blown away a 2nd time

I was a bit skeptical at first but it quickly becoming my favorite go to place for vegetarian food. It’s a rather unique experience and taste with a cuisine that ripped with meat. Hope there’s more of a place like this, being a healthy alternative for your usual Mexican restaurant. Their plant based Asada burrito is decent but their tacos are the highlight. This place is bomb. I had the asada, al pastor, and carnitas tacos and I prefer the carnitas and asada over the al pastor. For the sake of taste but they were still good and flavorful.The Nachos were good but they will get soggy (obviously) if you don’t eat them quick. I would get the carne asada fries next time for sure.The burger is awesome. You choose either the impossible or beyond burger. Beyond was great, and the fries were awesome. I need to try their animaless fries because I’m sure they’d be amazing too.The sauces were good and perfect amount of spicy! I haven’t tried the salsa roja tho. The verde is my go to.Only thing that would make it better would be some thinner tortillas because they use one thick one but it’s not enough to kill the food and my thoughts on how good the food is.The tres leches cake... try it and witness greatness.Update: still bomb. 1st time visiting & eating here. I ordered a mushroom steak burger & Mexgogi taco & I was NOT disappointed! The burger is a bit messy but I enjoyed every bite! The tortilla of the taco was super fluffy & the bulgogi meat was very tasty. I shouldve got the hot salsa, only because I wouldve loved the extra spice but the green, mild salsa was good! When in Fullerton, or Orange County, or SoCal in general I always make sure to stop by here. No one does vegan tacos like them and the tortillas are so good. I love the burgers, the fries, the tres leches cake, and everything in between. Not to mention the amazing staff who are always kind and welcoming. The service is quick and the place has some cool art. I cannot say enough good things about this place. And even better is that its affordable which is often not the case for vegan places.I love this spot and I find myself holding back on going every day because its just that good! Even my boyfriend who is a big meat eater loves this place so dont be shy to bring your non-vegan friends here!

On our first visit the cashier was so helpful! She answered all my questions about the menu and made recommendations of her favorites as well. We got and tried a little of everything, except for the conchas because they were out. The Mexigolgi fries, Philly melt, and chilaquiles burrito were my favorites. Best fries ever. This was the best vegan burger we have ever had it was delicious you cant even tell it is vegan! I recommend this place to everyone it is a small place with 3 or 4 tables but it is worth it to order to go if you cant find a table. The tres leches cake is also very good.

Best burger I’ve eaten since I’ve became vegan, that was almost 2 years ago. I got the one with jalapeños and grilled onions. Tres leches cake was so so so delicious. I wish I lived next to this place. Also would like to add the guy at the register had really friendly customer service!

Im not Vegan & am an avid meat eater but my friend is Vegan so to compromise we chose to try this new spot & it did not disappoint. I have tried other vegan dishes before & this by far didnt taste any different than a regular meat dish. If anything it was BETTER! My daughter is vegan and visiting from Australia. We took her to Chicana Vegan by recommendation from my cousin. It was so delicious that you could not tell there was no meat inside! I ordered the sopes de pastor y carne asada. I was so hungry and it was so good that I forgot to take a picture! I live in Simi Valley, I wish they had a restaurant closer! Next time I am in town, I will definitely eat here again! Can not recommend it enough!

Lexi provided great customer service! She was friendly, helped me understand the menu, and even unsold me on an extra taco. You can tell that this business is run by competent management. Support small businesses in Fullerton like this one. They need us in order to survive. Plenty of street parking out front most of the time.

They understand the subtle nuances required to season and flavor their foods, and they have a wide variety of flavors available. Also good lord, the tres leches cake.Dont go there thinking youre going to get health food, go there for a little indulgence.

Hands down the food was🔥🔥🔥. Stopped here on my way back to Phoenix. Now as far as pricing I feel they should add some sides even if it was sample sides. Spent $50 on 2 burritos a sandwich and fries. Small shop, but dont let that fool you. Their food speaks volumes!!! We tried their asada burrito, asada fries, tres leches cake, and horchata. By far its the best vegan fast food Ive ever had. At first I was so excited to try this place .. I waited for them to open . After I placed my order I was standing on the side waiting for my order this woman handing out the food order asked if I was waiting on my food ; with no doubt I said yes . After receiving my food i noticed in my bag there was only 1 hot sauce and so I asked if I could have another one the lady rudely asked we only give one away but I’ll give you another one . She didn’t even consider it was my first time . The I also asked for utensils and she said we already put them there in a rude voice and when I got home o noticed if I hadn’t asked for my utensil and fo be specific she only gave me one fork . I would have not had a utensil as she claimed . It’s clear to realize I had a first worst time experience and when I called to submit my claims professionally on the phone they didn’t answer I called 5x.
