Not very flavorful, def not the best tacos I’ve had in LA.The corn tortilla is too tough, the proteins aren’t well seasoned, and generally it’s boring to eat. They need some spicy salsas or creamy sauces. Something to make it more interesting.Also, I can’t prove it, but I had a total stomachache after eating the fish tacos.

The only thing to get here is the fish taco. They have other items but some are bad some are bland but the fish taco is awesome. We got the shrimp, chicken, steak taco and fish tacos. Again get the fish taco and dont waste your time with anything else.

Nestled inside All Season Brewing, Chicas Tacos are right where you need them. With a la carte ordering, you can try as many kinds as you want. They have multiple ways to order, including QR codes on the tables, walk up self order via tablet, or in person. The food was tasty and served quickly. I got a text message when it was ready.

Quick and easy counter service spot located inside the All Seasons Brewing Co. there’s a self service kiosk where you can place your order and then the pick up window is on the right hand side. My two taco combo cost $10 and came with a small side of chips and salsa. I opted for the fish taco and the asada tacos. They have nonalcoholic drinks available for purchase as well. My food came out in less than 10 minutes at 8pm on a Saturday evening and there’s plenty of seating within the brewery. Credit cards accepted.

Nice small and friendly place. There are Mexican type soft drinks and a cool selection of tacos, with vegetarian options. I dont think there was any beer on the menu but I didnt mind. After ordering, your name gets called out to collect the order. After a short wait, the tacos were full of flavour and quite nice. It was a nice change from the other restaurants in LA.

OMG ! this food is awesome! the quesadilla is large and serves two people, the tacos are wonderful and well prepared! Chips and guacamole are also very good, I do not like jalapeno and the guaca comes with it, but this is very personal, I will be back for sure !

My friend and I came here and got two tacos each and the chips and guac to share. She got the mushroom and cauliflower and the grilled shrimp and preferred the shrimp of the two.I got the two plant-based taco options:The Crispy Taco: 5/5 - Really liked the fried shell on this one. Used PB beef and daiya cheese. Delicious and reminded me of the Taco Time tacos of my youth hahaJackfruit: 5/5 - This was my favorite one. Super flavorful and loved the salsa verde.Docking one star because charging $1 each for sauces is a travesty imo.

I am torn between giving three or four stars. Ultimately I weight everything with price vs quantity. While quality is just as or even more important, this is where I stand.My initial search was for fish tacos. I have been to Señor Fish and Guisados, but I wanted to see what this location offered. I ordered combo #1, which was two tacos (any protein), nachos and salsa, and a drink (any drink, plastic or glass bottle, or agua fresca).I asked for a fish taco, meat, and the cucumber, lime, mint agua fresca. The order was ready, no longer then five minutes. When I took my order to the table I observed that the tacos dont have the traditional two tortillas. The chips were much larger portion then a taco itself.They do provide three different salsas made by Chicas. Chicas taco sauce was good. Chicas hot sauce was better (thus my favorite). Chicas habanero, not much taste (if anything, it should have been spicier).Taste. The meat taco was delicious. The meat was tender. The cheese, cilantro, and radishes complimented the taco. The fish taco was delicious. The portion reminded me of Guisados. The sauce (morita) a beautiful addition to the taco, delicious taste, I absolutely wanted more!The chips were good and simple. The salsa accompanying the chips tasted mostly of tomatoes.The cucumber lime mint drink was in a container that keeps the juice flowing in order for the drink not to sit. It did taste good but it was a bit difficult to narrow down the lime and cucumber taste. The mint was a bit distinguishable.All in all I enjoyed the small location. They do have an outside area to stand and eat and they also have a seating area.Price can be steep, but this is Downtown Los Angeles. Pictures attached are of my lunch, drink, and sauces.Thank you.

Clean and simple place, not a dive or taco truck, very NEW. Nice that they have Mexican horchata and Coke etc. but no burritos at all. I love hard shell tacos, these are not street tacos! But flavor and quality - not bad not great. For the rather high downtown prices, I hoped for more. They do have Impossible vegetarian and jackfruit tacos for those that dont eat meat.

Best burrito in LA if you love crunchy rice. I ordered steak but did not find it anywhere in my burrito. They had cilantro though, so don’t get it if you think cilantro tastes like soap. Honestly if you’re hungry just get dark beer.

Uhh... Well if people speaking Spanish at a taco truck scares you you could literally spend 3 1/2 times the cost of real street taco with no toppings and a single tortilla that falls apart in your hand. (Real street tacos always come with 2 tortillas.) I asked the sweet white girl who took my order if the pork tacos were like Al Pastor and she had no flipping idea what I was talking about. But they play Aerosmith and the chairs are mint green. Gringo cute ramped up to 11. The taco had good flavor, but I wanted to scream. The tacos are served in a hot-dog holder and a small pink donut box.

We got a lot of food and it was good according the party but they served me a fish taco that was fried until it was black and had almost no fish in it. They covered it up in a bunch of toppings. I felt this was deceptive and that’s why I felt the need to write this bad review. I hope they can learn not to serve food like that and especially not try to cover it up and then serve it. No matter the circumstances.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is very good but the prices are obscene. One taco is almost $5! And they are tiny! And they are minimally filled. I love a good street taco and these fit the bill... sorta. but 3 small tacos for $15 with zero sides, is just plain wrong. A taco plate at a very good high-end downtown Mexican restaurant, which i will leave unnamed, is $16 ...with amazing rice and salad with fabulous chips and salsa. The downtown locale is very cute and the staff is very nice, can’t go back though... it hurts to spend that kind of money on so little food

Hands down the best tacos Ive ever had! Loved the staff and loved the atmosphere! I went on a week day and it wasnt too crowded, so I dont know what the weekend scene is like, but I imagine its a really busy place based on how many people recommended it! The restaurant has an inside, but its largely set up for people to just take it to the cleverly designed patio, complete with Airstream RV. Over all, a really fun experience and Id totally do it again!

This is a small home style kitchen (nice). When I was told to try the pork or the fish but they did not have either so I took my own choice and tried to stake. The amount of flavors they use to make the tacos very nice and delicate. I would like to have tried the other dishes if they were available but from what I had it was good the only downside to eating at this place was the small portion sizes... considering being in La thats normal anywhere else I would consider it a kids meal.

Went back for my 2nd time and I absolutely loved everything I tried, my friends were also pleasantly surprised with each dish they ordered! Its great spot to meet up with a group of friends driving from all over L.A. Couple of my friends were Vegan, and they LOVED the nachos! The owner and cashier were super friendly and attentive, even though it wasnt sit-down service....we still received royal treatment!😊 I will definitely be back, my friends and I all enjoyed our night out, and the price was on POINT for the amount AND quality of food you are being served! I love this place! Theyve put a new spin on an old favorite! The staff is super friendly and the location is pretty cool, the trailer out in the seating area is a nice touch. And the tacos are absolutely delicious. We tried every taco they have and they were all very good. Although, my favorite was probably the chicken followed by the beef. The guacamole was creamy and tasty and they have this green drink of cucumber, lime and mint that was surprisingly refreshing and delicious. If youre in downtown LA Id definitely recommend to stop by.

I work at a farm to fork restaurant in West Hollywood, in a much more positive environment and their prices are much better and as a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine I was not wholly impressed, especially since I didnt see a bathroom. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU! USE SEASONING and FLAVOR. I mean for the prices you charge and say that you’re not a street vendor. This place has some of the tastiest tacos I have ever eaten. In addition the actually make horchata the right way. (NOT from a syrup, and they also got the dispenser that keeps it mixed) This place is very small, but the staff is amazingly friendly. I have a disability, and there is handicap parking but for 7 to 10.00 dollars... the parking lot attendant has a very NASTY disposition. Last time I had to walk about a block and half. Youd think charging $4+ for a single taco would afford these folks a pinch of seasoning and maybe fresh ingredients, but serving blanched tortillas full of eraser shavings in lieu of anything remotely edible is truly a shame. If you want to try before you buy, pop a rubber band in your mouth, and itll be an indistinguishable experience of eating at Chicas Tacos.

I have walked by numerous times and today I took the plunge. I had the Jackfruit taco and it was good. The side of corn was ok although I probably wouldnt get it again. Not worth the money or the time if you stand in line.The steak tacos had no flavor, the potatoes inside were not seasoned.The fish taco was also flavorless.The guacamole was just mashed avocados.The only thing worth ordering was the churros...even thou they had too much sugar the were hot and served with haagen dazs ice cream and caramel on the side.If I go back it will only be for dessert and a cool vibe.Thank you for your response, Leo’s Tacos has 5 star carne asada tacos and burritos. We had the chicken, pork, fish and veggie tacos. Im not a taco snob or anything, however all but the fish were dissatisfying. We really enjoyed our visit to Chicas Tacos. It’s a cool little spot in downtown L.A. I had the carne asada taco, fish taco, and the pork taco. We also shared a street corn which was fantastic. I enjoyed all three and thought they tasted great. The price is on the higher side, but it wasn’t terrible. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Also, they forgot to add chicken and when I returned to let them know, rather than make a fresh batch [as any other place would], they just dumped chicken in loading it with more sauce. My dog, bred to hunt, was going crazy for all the rats they had behind the restaurant - it’s Downtown but c’mon. You can do better.Finally, pricey as it was for basic food, POS prompts for tip. I thought, “someone’s gotta run it out”, and tipped. No. No one ran it out. They shouted my name over a loud speaker. So many other places Downtown...will not be returning.

Nice little spot with a chill vibe! As for the tacos, I had the fish and pork. The pork taco was pretty tasty I must say.... but the fish taco was pretty bland, the cesar salad topping doesnt do it for me! The other issue was the price, I cant see myself spending 5 dollars for one taco, and if you get suckered into buying their EASY meal which consist of 2 tacos, chips & guac and an agua fresca, you end up wracking up a $20 bill. First and last, I rather go down to Alameda and 3rd for some tasty and authentic street tacos!!! Just keeping it real, Cheers!

More at (insta/ceilingkatz): My bff and I decided to try a random taqueria (@chicastacos) next to tall skyscraper in downtown. It reminded me a lot of the movie Up where the old man’s house was squeezed by two giant commercial buildings. The shop might be small but they were bold in their flavors. From the first bite, it was obvious that they spend a lot of quality time to marinate and slow cook their meat. We got beef, pork, fish tacos, enchiladas and nachos. I like the fresh take of using romaine lettuce and cheese on their fish taco, almost like a fish caesar salad. The topping with red radish on their taco was something I’ve never seen before and it gave a nice spicy contrast to the bbq flavor. I wish they pickle some of the radish though, the additional acid could really complete the dish. Overall a great place for lunch while strolling around downtown LA #yummy 😋

Located adjacent to a pay parking lot Chicas tacos is easy to locate because of their amazing neon lit sign and airstream themed outdoor seating. The tacos offer something for everyone from the vegetarian to the carnivorous. Standouts from our trip were the Greek inspired chicken tacos and the house made salsas. Chicas is worth a stop of you find yourself in DTLA and craving tacos that are a step up from the trucks.
