It was okay to be honest, the chicken was fried nicely but there wasn’t really an alluring flavor or juicy meat. The crunch is good, but I guess nothing really exciting. The Texas toast was just kind of a slice of bread. Okay but not spectacular

I tried the Naughty Chick and the Big G. They were both pretty decent the chicken was pretty crispy and juicy. The spiciness of the Naughty chick came mostly from jalapeño so it was really spicy unlike the usual sauce which has a lot of flavor coming from spices. A bit disappointed with the spicy sandwich and the fact that there was no Mac cheese and it was only middle of the day.

Good halal spot to grab a late night meal.We tried the Big G and combo 1 which comes with 2 pieces of chicken and a side. Big G was huge and we enjoyed the leftovers too.Everything was good except for the Mac & cheese, I would rather get the fries.

The absolute best fried chicken sandwich! Crispy outside and tender, juicy inside. This sandwich is huge! But it was so good, I ate the whole thing! Its a bit pricey. Paid about $20.00 for the sandwich, a side, and a drink, plus tip. But, totally worth it!

I got a Naughty Chicken (the spicy sandwich). The chicken meat itself was good. Breading was crisp but fell off really easy. The nice thing is they provide a huge piece of chicken, so I didnt feel like it was overly priced for what I got.Mac n cheese was pretty boring. The bread crumbs on top didnt add anything to it.Also, I was there in the middle of the day when there was almost no business. Just one person had basically picked up their food right before I ordered. But it took 20 minutes for my sandwich and mac to be ready. And the weird thing was a couple guys came in and ordered after Id been waiting 15 minutes already, but got their food within a minute or two of me getting mine. Kind of disappointing but not sure if they fry chicken in batches or what.Id maybe go back but its just decent chicken. Nothing crazy special.

Chicken Gs is a truly delicious chicken sandwich place. The Big G was delicious, with a very large, very juice piece of fried chicken. The fries were seasoned well, although maybe a bit too thick for some. The combo basket was also delicious, although the drumstick was a bit smaller than expected(especially when compared with the other offerings). Unfortunately when I went(5/3/23) the Mac n cheese was not available.Edit: (5/17/23)The Mac n cheese was available and honestly a bit of a disappointment. The mac n cheese was a bit over cooked, but the breadcrumbs were a nice touch. Overall close to a 3.5-4/10. Certainly not worth the $4.

Fresh fried chicken with spices on the inside is savory. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but the skin could have had more spices, but thats okay. The Texas toast and fries were decent. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what its worth. I enjoyed the atmosphere, they have some games available.

Wow. Its a good place if you want to find REAL fried chicken. The fried chicken is sooooooo crunchy outside and juicy inside. The sauce with a little bit of curry taste matches perfectly with the fried chicken.The homemade lemonade is good but they add a full cup of ice cubes so......I would try something else or they have free water.The sandwich is very huge and a little bit spicy. We love this place and will come back often.For the service, well, it would be better if they can be more friendly and explain more of the menu. There are only 3 types of sandwich on their screen. However, if you go to Yelp, you will find more options.

The food is great! Got the Big G sandwich and it was really tasty (note: i asked for extra sauce on the side). Also got fries and a side of mac and cheese, both very good! The place is cute and cozy on the inside, but seats maybe 20-25 max. I definitely recommend this place! Will be coming back a lot iA :)

Holy Moly why did we wait so long to finally try Chicken Gs. The portions are huge at a great price too. The chicken was moist and perfectly crispy. The fillings, slaw, sauce etc paired really well with the sandwich! I was full after eating half but had to keep going bc it was so good! We also ordered some tendersnon the side. They were also really good but we definitely over ordered. They still tasted amazing heated up in the air fryer the next day. Cant wait ro come back for more! This place is definitely my new number one spot for a fried chicken sandwich!

This was a great find! The location is unfortunately far from downtown but parking on El Camino is easy. This is close to the neighborhoods in walking distance for a lot of fortunate people that like fried chicken.I didn’t know this was a soft opening but they have obviously perfected the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken came out super crunchy and moist and tender inside; I found myself eating around the outside just to eat the crust of the chicken.I had the naughty chick sandwich and it was nice and spicy. They added little slices of jalapeños or some kind of pepper on top of the shredded lettuce topped with the fried chicken. It was absolutely delicious.I asked them if they will be bringing out a bucket of chicken similar to KFC and they said that it would come later.I would definitely go back here for the fried chicken sandwich.

The food is amazing and halal! The portions are generous and very reasonably priced. The location is not the best because el Camino is quite busy and they have limited seating and parking. This spot right here became my new local chicken spot. Got some thighs and drumsticks for take out and even after the drive home it was still crunchy and juicy. We got to try the regular and spicy chicken. It was flavorful all the way to the bone. The spicy was a low key spice that tickled your tastebuds at the end (I love it).I usually like to support the local business on principle, but I will support this one because the chicken is great and the people that work there are super friendly.

Terrible quality and service! I placed my order at 11: 56 pm, and waited 40 mins to receive my order to go! Only after I stood up and asked they gave me my order. Unacceptable! Customers that arrived later than me received all of theirs, this is what tempted me to ask. I ASKED FOR A REFUND multiple times and the worker refused!! He seemed confused and uninterested in helping me. After 40 mins of waiting, the sandwich was bland. The fried chicken was cold, it was just sitting there and the fries were also cold. Legit a waste of money. Only writing this because there was no manager I could speak to and the least they can do is hear my complain. Dont get me wrong this place is good! The location in Fremont is great! But this was a bad experience, I still have the cold food I dont want.

This restaurant is currently in the soft opening phase, check them out when they grand open on August 12! I came here hangry after fighting my way through the Mountain View farmers market.I had the naughty chick sandwich. The sandwich was beautifully plated, with all the right fixings of sauce, greens, and serrano peppers. It came with a side of fries that were piping hot!The fry on the chicken was so crispy and enjoyable. The chicken itself was super moist and easy to eat. I love that my sandwich was super fresh, the chicken wasnt soggy at all.I think the sauce had a kick, but I felt like the serrano peppers were kinda meh. They werent mixed into the sauce and just added on with the lettuce.Street parking is available and theres a small lot for parking as well. There are a couple outdoor tables and a good handful of indoor tables.Fantastically made sandwiches with excellent taste. Id recommend any fried chicken fans to check them out. :)

I went prior to grand opening so it took a while to get my food…plus the place was popping with customers on a Friday night, but nobody was complaining! Delicious freshly fried chicken, injected with spices. We got the combo #2 with coleslaw and fries as our sides. The combo also came with two pieces of Texas toast and we thought it was quite a bit of food for the price. The freshly squeezed lemonade was also tasty. The Big G is the best halal chicken sandwich you can insert into your mouth hole when it comes to the entire bay area. HFC got nothing on it. Service is extremely quick when ordering a sandwich and the interior is nice. Staff have made mistakes before but nothing major.

The food is legit. Dont expect any service if you dine in as it is a self-serve restaurant. I do think that they could pay attention to emptying an overflowing trash can and keeping the un-bussed table (I think this may have been a result of an overflowing trash can..) taken care of.. but the staff is friendly if you bring it to their attention. I am definitely coming back here but I will probably just make it to go.

Portions are good. 3 stars on service because its fast food and you are your own service for counter to table, getting utensils and napkins. 3 stars on atmosphere as its just basic tables and chairs...not meant to have atmosphere. In No way...is the 3 stars meant to be bad. It is a little pricey but worth it. Again it is not setup for service and atmosphere so 3 stars means neutral and those ratings dont apply. I dont care for the tip guilt at register for no service. Tipping is for service...not being handed what you paid well for. They get very busy. About half of customers were for to go orders and half to eat there. I do recommend this place 100%. If you brink loud kids..it will be very load and you may chase everyone out due to the hard floors and walls. Will echo and make others not to happy. It is kid friendly though as long as they can sit at an adult table and chairs.

The fries were not extra crispy even though I requested it, but they were seasoned well.I tried the Naughty Chick and its got some decent heat to it, but definitely bearable for spice lovers.I also tried the Big G which was really good. I would like to take this opportunity to express the outstanding experience I had at Chicken Gs. Often times, we settle for chicken sandwiches based off of convenience in purchasing one from a franchise-owned operation. I must say, the chicken sandwich each of us had at lunch today was absolutely delicious. So none of the reviewers mentioned this but even the regular chicken is spicy. Its not real spicy but it is spicy and since I dont eat spicy, it limits how much I can eat. With that caveat, I agree the chicken is very good and the batter is light and crispy. There is nothing special about the Texas toast. With the combo the chicken is resting on the toast so its a bit dry and soggy. I got mac n cheese and its not bad but a bit on the dry side. Ill try their fries and cole slaw next time. They warned me when I placed my order it would be a 15min wait. It didnt take 15min so I was pleasantly surprised. Ill definitely come again but probably with someone who likes spicy chicken.

After 15-20mins to get home, the chicken sandwiches still tasted fantastic! It was so crispy and yet, not too oily. We had the sandwiches for lunch and saved 2 chicken pieces for dinner. I had the chicken g combo with a jarrito, man it was good! The crunch and chicken meat ratio just on point. I substituted the Swiss with pepper jack cheese for preference I like pepper Jack over Swiss. The size is the sandwich was like two in one, they’re not under cutting you here. If youve been looking for good fried chicken on this coast, here it is. We prefer white meat, so we got the tenders, which is not displayed on their menu, so you have to ask for them. I dont understand why this place is not constantly mobbed with people. The fried chicken sandwiches here (my favourite is the Naughty Chick) are hands-down the best Ive ever had, anywhere, except maybe at their sister restaurant, Lados. Massive, well-constructed, and the chicken - I wouldnt have thought it was possible to make chicken that good until Id tried it myself.Everyone should try this place. Vegetarians and people who go to Chick-fil-A or KFC should reconsider their life choices. The sandwich (Big G) was mostly great - big juicy piece of chicken that was perfectly crispy. Onions and sauce were good. But not a fan of the shredded lettuce, and the bun was flat/almost doughy, too sweet, and had no crispiness to it.Seems Im in the minority but I didnt like the fries much, the seasoning tasted mostly like MSG (Im not opposed to a little MSG 😛) and they werent very crispy. Kind of like In n Out friesI didnt even know I was getting fries (only briefly looked at the menu before ordering over the phone), so not taking off any stars for them. To me, the main thing that would need to improve is the bun.

I got the G chicken sandwich and the Naughty chick Its The tastiest, most crispy chicken you will ever have. seasoned to perfection yall it was bomb. The season french fries with the sauce is FIRE!! Great food, fast casual vibe, several fun board games to play. One thing to note is that although the restaurant is open till 1 or 2am, the seating area closes at 11pm. I didn’t see that on any signage, so I was confused when the chairs started getting put up on the tables around us. Overall, great food and I will definitely come back.

It’s HALAL.I ordered the Naughty Chick Burger and the first thing I noticed about it; it’s huge. The sauce in the burger was really good but very cold so it was kind of putting off the flavor from the hot chicken piece. I am giving it 4 stars just because it’s expensive; $15 for a burger. The taste was amazing and as I mentioned, it was a big burger. It also comes with a choice of side.

I ordered from this restaurant twice, each time my friends and I all felt sick after eating their fried chicken sandwich. The symptoms include diarrhea and nausea. One of us had nausea for the next two days. We suspect that the oil used by this restaurant has really bad quality(地溝油). Definitely would not recommend eating here!

I highly recommend checking them out! It was extremely pleasant with nice service and food backed it all up. The chicken (although a little pricy) was absolutely outstanding and didn’t disappoint me whatsoever as I have been waiting to try this place for what feels like forever now. I’ve been waiting to try this place ever since I saw it on el Camino. I’m glad to say it did not disappoint. The location is quaint and comfortable with plenty of indoor seating and a decent amount of available parking. As for the food, it’s some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. I enjoyed how on the naughty chik (spiciest sandwich) they used actual jalapeño pepper instead of just the usual dry cayenne that most places use. This allowed for the chicken to be tender and juicy without the dryness of pepper. Although the total for the meal was $13 (quite expensive for a chicken sandwich), the portion size was massive, with the fried chicken practically leaking out of the buns. Overall, I highly recommend checking this spot out!

I am that annoying no mayo customer, and most sandwich places cant understand that not everyone likes mayonnaise. But I was assured by my friend that their sauce isnt really like mayo and I should just trust the chef and try the sandwich as-is.OMG. Wow.I got the Naughty G, which has a lightly spicy sauce, with thin slices, almost shavings, of fresh serrano hot pepper. So youve got this crispy-battered chicken patty and then the delicate crunch of the thin peppers and the sauce pulls it all together. So good. And the fries were perfect.This sandwich and fries together was a big meal, if I hadnt been so hungry I might have considered sharing. But so good I didnt want to share.

Chicken Gs has a warm place in my heart for a number of reasons.Firstly, the food itself is amazing. The chicken itself is so tender and juicy and I love juicy meat. Add that to the creamy white mayo, it creates a unique combination of flavors that just melt on your tongue. Best of all, they really season their food well; I love the spices they use.Second, they have stuff to keep you occupied while you eat. Their tic tac toe, chess board, and chicken Gs marble maze is sure to stimulate you as you satisfy your gustatory senses through the food.Third, and best of all, is what they name their food. I dont like how Chik Fil A uses names such as spicy chicken sandwhich. Deep down, we are all naughty chicks and want something truly chickalicious. You can find that here at chicken Gs.Fourth, they are open till 1am. This gives you a lot of time to become the Big G you were always meant to be.In conclusion, eat here. Eventually they only need 2 minutes to prepare your order.Don’t think they have a reasonable queuing system.
