One of the more authentic Malaysian restaurants in South Bay so far. Well-furnished and clean interior is an added bonus.Highly recommend the Char Kuay Teow and Scrambled Egg Chow Fun (Wat Tan Hor). It has been difficult to find these dishes up to par in the South Bay, but look no further—“wok hei” is present and taste is legit.Ayam Penyet was also delicious. Penang Achar and the rice could be better, but overall would definitely eat here again!Free self-serve variety of sauces. Free soup as well (it was Chicken Herbal Soup tonight).

Ordered at the counter -they will bring the food to your table.Free self serve fruits-infused water. There is also self serve chicken soup dispenser next to it, if your dish comes with it.Clean and organized space.Ive ordered mild popcorn chicken(appetizer), nasi lemak, ayam bakar, and Hainan chicken.Nasi lemak comes with dried anchovy sambal, chicken rendang(approved the rendang taste, almost like the one I ate in Malaysia!), some dried peanuts, and mixed salad. The ayam bakar was not really ayam bakar I had in my mind, but still good.The dish is served in square plastic tray bento way. If you cant finish your dish, just ask the cashier for the lid, and you carry the leftover home. Easy peasy.

I stumbled upon this restaurant on Google while looking for a place that serves southeast asian cuisine and discovered this hidden gem. While I have been to countless Singaporean/ Malaysian restaurants in the bay area, this one definitely serve the best tasting Singaporean/Malaysian Hainanese chicken rice, Nasi Lemak and Indonesian fried chicken.Customers can help themselves with a total of six different sauces, red ginger chili, scallion/ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and other special house sauces, and chicken broth soup from the counter. And each entree comes with a healthy serving of salad. The chicken is extremely moist, tender and fresh, and is marinated with a special house sauce that tastes exactly like how they do it at the hawker centers in Singapore and Malaysia.I took my family there for cny eve dinner and pre-ordered the ‘yee sang’ and it was definitely one of our favorites that evening.Highly recommended for all the Southeast Asian expatriates who are crazing for a real taste of the food from their home countries.

Our best authentic Malaysian Hainan chicken so far in bay. Fresh chicken straight from ranch, everything made from scratch without msg. It brings me back to South Asia. Their Roti is crispy and come with curry sauce that was super delicious and spicy.*Spicy level is Malaysia hot. Do not underestimate the Sambal Sauce.*Longan winter melon drink come without sugar, best for baby and toddler.

Big fried chicken leg, and delicious sauce with rice is the best one I tried so far. The restaurant is extra clean, from the sits to the table and floor. Family friendly. Few options of the menu to maximum the quality of all dishes. Various sauces are awesome, you can tried the chicken with all kinds of sauces. There is a tank of lemon and cucumber water, you can drink much as you want, and that water is refreshing your meal.

The chicken is really good no kidding, really tender and juicy, def better than the ones at the chain stores. Pretty authentic and I like they have more veges. Next time would try the fried chicken bento :) other than the classic three sauces they also have spicy Thai chili sauce and spicy shrimp paste sauce, both good, but also real Asian spicy!

Delicious foods, great service provided by the family. Portion for bento box is huge, much bigger than a regular dish, we didnt know and ended up over ordering. We had roti canai for appetizer, nasi lemak and ayam bakar and all of them did not disappoint. We also were given traditional Malaysian dessert which we didnt have any more room for, but delicious. Recommended.

Best and most authentic chicken rice! Slightly better than Chicken Meets Rice (which is also really good), better than GAI Chicken Rice, and vastly better than Rooster and Rice.The chicken was poached to a jelly-like perfection and the rice was fragrant and delicious.The nasi lemak was great too! The ikan bilis was so good and the sambal belacan packed a wonderful punch.The unlimited sauce bar was the cherry on top.

Found this Malaysian restaurant by chance. We tried their different chicken dishes and all of them were great, delicious flavors! They opened very recently and we are glad we stumbled upon this restaurant.

I had the Char Kway Teow. The best I had so far in the Bay Area. It’s “char” enough for me. 4 plump shrimps and some Chinese sausages. Being a Malaysian, I requested it spicy, but you can order the level you like. Will order it again after I try their other dishes.

This place should call Healthy Chicklious. Their plate is tend to be healthy balance eating, but not plain at all. Chicken is cooked well, tender, juicy. No sugar or MSG added (personal point of view).Suggestions : a little more rice will be better 😋 😜.***people hate bone like myself, it is place for you***** I did not see one small piece of bone on my togo dinner.

We had Nasi lemak and Hainan Chicken. Both were really good. For the nasi lemak, our only issue was the ikan billis was cold, but they made it for it with the awesome Achar and Pampadam. Coconut rice and chicken rice both great. All the spices and sauce are better than other stores, very authentic Malaysian style, not so much Thai style. The chicken soup was also not too salty, so we really liked it.

I tried the Nasi Lemak and it is authentic, the ikan bilis is done well, so is the chicken rendang and coconut rice. The achar pickle is a Nyonya treat from Malaysia. Remember to add some sambal belacan from the condiment counter!

One of the best Hainan Chicken Ive ever had. The chicken meat is tender and moist. The rice is flavorful. And I love the slightly sweet and spicy side dish. Moreover, the portion is good. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Excellent Hainan Chicken dish . Way beyond my expectation ... so far the best that I ever tasted in south bay. The boneless chicken is so tender, cooked just right with meat favour. I just came back from south Asia trip, basically this place is almost no difference from the Hainan Chicken that I tasted during the trip. Will sure visit again.

This place definitely lives up to its name! Everything was delicious.I got the Nasi Lemak and a side of Hainan Chicken. The coconut rice was perfect with the rendang chicken. Love the anchovies, cucumber and pickled veggies. I literally cannot stop eating. It was sooo much food but I have no regrets getting the additional side of Hainan Chicken. Its perfectly moist and the skin is the right level of bouncy (and still attached, not falling off the meat or missing like other places. Its a good sign of quality.)I was early to pick up and the guy offered me a cup to get some of their herbal chicken soup while I waited. It is so good. I am glad there was another cup in my to go bag. I love that they have a sauce bar and dont charge for extra sauces.I will have to come back to try their Hainan Chicken rice, too. Its a serious contender to be the best Hainan chicken in the bay. Do keep in mind, this is served Malay style with soy and oil sauce.

I love the interior is really bright and clean and spacious. Menu is pretty straight forward and easy to read. As for food, the portion is rather big, and the food presentation is really appetizing. Overall, the food is tasty with no MSG. The appetizer roti has the perfect thickness and fluffiness, and smells good with ghee. What Ive been told, chicken is fresh from farm, never frozen. The complimentary soup is really special, its herbal chicken soup. Theres a sauce bar, I can refill as much as I need to. Chicken rice is steamed to the perfectness, and chicken is tender. I specially love the Indonesian Sambal from #2, very spicy yet satisfying! Last but not least, the coconut pudding is refreshing. Love it!!

Im glad to see a non Viet restaurant in a Vietnamese plaza. This added option to my weekdays lunch repertoire as I live less than 10 minutes away.I liked their sweet & simple menu. I dont have to ponder too long to see what do I pick for the day. Portion is decent for the bentos combos but very generous on the snack fried chicken.On my last visit, they gave me a paper cup for the herbal chicken soup. Nice touch especially for the colder season. Chicken rengdan can be very spicy for someone who do not eat spicy. Personally I love the heat so this is perfect for me. I ordered the bento box so you got an entire drum stick with it. I came here on multiple trips and intended to try most thing on the menu.Their winter melon drink is a nice counter to the spicy food and yet affordable. Hainan chicken will be saved for my next trip to try.I didnt ask but Im not sure if the curry sauce that came with the roti canai is vegetarian. This is a chicken lovers restaurant. I do follow a 2 days a week vegetarian diet for religious reason. I wished they offer vegetarian friendly options but I dont see that on the menu yet. I would loved to see they offer a tofu/satian version of their rengdan entree.Overall a much welcome new, clean restaurant in the neighborhood.

Malaysia is a street-food heaven, many Malaysian-food restaurants abroad has a big menu.This eatery caught my attention with a compact menu, specializing in chicken dishes. Their rendition of chicken rice is as close to Malaysia’s as I could find around here.By the way, their roti canai is handmade. The accompanying curry is good enough for me to plan another visit for the national dish of Nasi Lemak 🇲🇾

It is a disappointment. With chicken in its name, you first have to select the right kind of chicken for your dishes. Hainan chicken using fast growing cheap chicken will not cut it because it will lack flavor. Other dishes have similar issues. It is fast food quality ingredients with higher prices.
