The best rotisserie chicken you can find in Orange County. Chicken Maison is consistently serving their juicy chicken and tasty and ample sides to the OC community. I’ve been eating it for many years and I never get tired of it nor do have I noticed any changes in their quality. The chicken is always juicy and the sauces (garlic lemon or spicy garlic) are always on point and compliment the chicken well.My favorite sides are the brown rice and the spicy hummus - the coleslaw and the potato salad are close seconds. If you eat there, the service is great (hopefully Jose serves you) and much more than you expect from a fast casual place. The prices are very good - a 2 chicken and 4 large side meal is about $50. You can’t beat it. Over order so you have leftovers, trust me!

First time Ive been to this restaurant. I was just in town for business and looking for some good Greek food and found this place on reviews.Im glad I discovered it because I ordered a Greek salad with a side of gyro meat (a bit too expensive for just a side of gyro at $8.50) but I have to say the food was delicious!All the ingredients in the salad or fresh and crunchy and it was a nice mix in the Greek salad. My meal included pita bread & tzatziki sauce.Restaurant seem pretty busy when I was there so Im pretty sure the locals have discovered its a good place to eat. I agree and you will too if you go!

5 stars! I have to say the service was excellent. Especially by the young man Kevin. He was professional and welcoming. The food was great, too. My son and I stopped in by recommendation on Sat 3/18/23 while visiting from Hawaii. This is probably the 2nd reviewsm Ive ever left, but I had to do it for Kevin, who I gladly tipped on our way out the door. I had to tell his Manager thank you as well! If were ever in the area, we will be back!

Was looking for a healthy yet flavorful meal on the way to checking out OCMA with my Man when we came across this establishment. I got the 1/4 lemon basil rotisserie chicken & he got the chicken and kefta kebabs. EVERYTHING was delicious and exceeded our expectations even after reading all the 5 star reviews! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken as it reminded me of the rotisserie chicken I got in Paris: Super juicy & flavorful, & never dry.The gal who rang up our order was very helpful & kept checking on us throughout our meal. She also gave us some pistachio chips to try to make sure we enjoy our first visit - the chips were super addicting!We are both sad that its a bit if a drive for us but will definitely be coming back! 🧡😋😊

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maison Chicken in Santa Ana, and I must say, their falafel is absolutely excellent. On both of my visits, I ordered the falafel plate, and I was blown away by how crispy and tasty it was. The falafel had the perfect texture and was bursting with flavor. The accompanying tahini sauce was also delicious and always fresh.While Maison Chicken is known for their chicken dishes, I am not a chicken person myself and have yet to try them. However, if their falafel is any indication, Im sure their chicken dishes are equally amazing. The restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking, although there is currently construction happening in front of the establishment, which may make the outside look a bit messy. Rest assured, its only temporary.Inside the restaurant, youll find a beautiful ambiance and a clean, quiet atmosphere. The staff members are incredibly nice, helpful, and kind. They truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Maison Chicken is a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without any distractions.I have a personal connection with the owners, as I met them years ago at their previous location, which was almost across the street. If youre going to dine in for the first time, make sure you check out their website for the food description and know what youre going to order. Im the kind of person who likes to see visually (pictures of the food) before I decide what to eat. When I was in the shop, it was very difficult for me to decide what to have and I felt pressure too (asking almost every single menu what are the ingredients and condiments etc) because there are people queuing behind me waiting to order.If you have any sort of dietary requirements, make sure you do check out their website first or you can order it online.

After one visit, I am a fan!In short:- delicious food- friendly and fast service- great valueI was greeted by Alex at the counter last night. He patiently helped me explore their menu options. I ended up ordering a whole chicken marinated in their famous spicy garlic sauce (DELICIOUS), a side of cabbage with the sweet and spicy dressing (good), and the spicy potato salad (really good). The pita dessert was lightly sweet, cruncy, and delicious. I was in and out with phenomenal takeout in under 10 minutes. If you drive there, be patient with the parking flow as it gets really busy due to the Chick-Fil-A across from them. Other than that, my experience was 11/10!

When we found ourselves starving after lots of running around on a warm October afternoon, Mediterranean food was all that we had on our minds! Stumbled onto this place on Yelp with all the good reviews, so didnt have to think much before heading here. Ordered the 1/4 Spicy Garlic Lemon Chicken combo and the Spicy Gyro plate, and these arrived with the sides of spicy hummus, salad and pita bread in tow. The portion sizes are huge, and the food is quite tasty - we enjoyed the Gyros more than the chicken (which was a tad bit greasy) but thats just us. The indoor sitting area is pretty huge (something thats not very evident from the outside when entering the joint) and there are quite a few tables in the outdoor sitting area too. The place is part of a shopping center, so finding a parking spot close by is pretty easy.

The way they cook chicken is very common in the part of the World Im from. Meat must be juicy, flavourful, and soft! Americans are used to fried chicken meat being dry and crispy with the accent on texture. I dont think they serve alcohol.I had a gyro sandwich and my wife had some chicken dish. I didnt find the gyro sandwich that flavorful and the meat was a bit too dry for my taste. That said, it was perfectly acceptable and I didnt dislike it. Its just that there are better places.My wife was also okay with her dish, but had a similar opinion that there was nothing wrong with it, but there are better places.Remember though that we all have different tastes and this was a busy restaurant. Both of the kids at the front counter tonight had zero personality and looked like they don’t want to be there. Just straight up resting b* face syndrome, looking like they’re hating life. Absolutely delicious! Always get delivery and this is probably the best rotisserie chicken I’ve had anywhere in the world. Their sauces are really fantastic, as well as their sides like hummus and tabbouleh. I wish they used better pita bread (it’s the kind you buy in a grocery store - flat and tastes like cardboard), and my bag is always a soaking mess when it gets delivered but the chicken somehow makes it all worth it. Still love this place, and will order again and again but hope the restaurant can offer at least a better paid bread option and pack their food better for delivery.

Im usually not one to mess with bones in my food (whole fishes, ribs, fried chicken, traditional wings, etc.) but Im willing to put up with the bones for the chicken here because its SO GOOD. Not only is the chicken so perfectly cooked that it easily falls off the bone, but their seasoning is amaaaazing.I ordered the 1/2 chicken with spicy lemon garlic with spicy potato salad and brown rice for my two sides, and my boyfriend got the same but with spicy hummus and veggies. We love eating the veggies and FREE PITA BREAD with the hummus, and the chicken with the rice. The spicy potato salad was ok, but nothing special. So much food!! I had to take half of mine to-go. Ah Chicken Maison one of the top rated places in Costa Mesa/Santa Ana. I shared my doubts about the place for having such a high score. Not a lot of restaurants can have so many reviews and maintain their 4-5 star status. Chicken Maison is one of them.Their chicken is so tender and juicy! I love getting their whole chicken with steamed veggies and hummus. So good :D. A whole chicken meal is good for 2-3 people and you can split the cost. I havent tried their kabobs because theyre known for chicken. Maybe some other time Ill try it out. My personal suggestion is to get the 1/4 spicy garlic chicken if youre just getting lunch by yourself. The staff is helpful and always tries to keep the place clean. Warning this place does get packed during lunch and sometimes has a line out the door. Might be best to order ahead and take it to go. Seating arrangements can be difficult.

Ordered the gyro sandwich with a side of stuffed grape leaves. The stuffed grape leaves were soggy, saturated with lemon juice. The flavor wasnt very good. The gyro was pretty solid except the meat was extremely dry. Tasted as if no one else has ordered it all day and spent hours on a spit drying out.Perhaps its my mistake to order the gyro at a place with chicken in the name, but they really shouldnt offer an item if they cant keep it fresh. Judging by the other reviews the chicken is pretty good though. So avoid the gyro and the stuff grape leaves if you do decide to visit!

Did I hear Mediterranean food? Yes please. I stopped here for lunch when I was in Santa Ana doing work. It’s always a good idea to come in a little bit early to beat the lunch rush. It is located on the corner of a large shopping center and the parking lot is small. The place is clean and there’s indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the steak and vegetable kabob platter that comes with 2 sides. There are various sides to choose from, but I got the green salad and hummus. The steak is juicy and perfectly grilled. The salad was nicely dressed with oils and lime. The hummus comes with pita bread and it was flavorful and didn’t taste bland. There are water cups available by the drink fountain so you can always refill. I really enjoyed the food here and if they were closer to home then I would be going every week.

The portions are generous and I usually have left overs for another meal. Im not sure if this is a chain and there are other restaurants in the OC, but this one is located near south coast plaza. I use to LOVE this place. I would eat here weekly and being family and friends throughout the past 7-8 years Ive lived in OC. I believe some changes in ownership has made this place take a turn for the worst. I always order the Chicken Caesar salad with Chicken Kabob. The last two visits Ive gone there has been far less flavor on the salad (they use to have some magical blend of dry seasonings dashed on top that they no longer had at all), the chicken kabob was barely warm and had the faintest flavoring on it, all the lettuce was the white watery part of the romaine (when it use to be the leafy green part), the garlic white sauce was practically bland, and the salad dressing was poured on heavily but it was not the same dressing recipe from before. They use to use shaved parmesan cheese on top of the salad, now it was something more like pre shredded mozzarella. There have been a lot of corners cut with the new staff. Im honestly so sad about these degradements. I have loved this place, and miss what it once was.

I dont know why people rave about this place. It is not that good. Just OK. The rotisserie chicken is overcooked. Anyone who grills, smokes or rotisseries chicken knows that the optimum safe temperature for chicken is 165 F and around that temp the chicken will be safe and juicy. At chicken maison, the chicken has been roasted to well over 200 F easily I bet. It is dry and falls apart. No wonder the chicken is slathered with tons of sauces. Dry, dry, dry meat. The garlic sauce is good, similar to Zankou. Sides are standard. Only go to this place if you live in the area and dont have better options.

I know that doesnt sound like a lot since that phrase came from the 60s when a $2.00 win would cover the 3 piece chicken dinners Vegas was known for, but consider inflation and that was a table phrase so since most Casinos now have a $10 minimum youre looking at a now $10 win which sounds much better. Thats actually about what youll pay here.Great chicken, be it plain or spicy lemon garlic. A la cart is more for kabobs, and they dont have much in the way of appetizers, more or less just extra sides. I highly recommend the spicy hummus. Zesty, creamy and a complex heat Med food isnt particularly known for. Likely made from the spicy olive oil people wouldnt know about unless theyve been there. The good thing about their juicy gyros is that the meat is more chunk cut and not thinly sliced. I myself like a crispy outside slice, but sometimes youll get a 1/2 thick piece and forget all about seemingly fried crunchies you once loved. The tzisiki sauce is quite thick, more along the lines of Greek yogurt versus regular yogurt. If you get the kabobs go well done as unlike a good steak I found the rare to be tough, but flavored well, probably because its not the usual ribeye, NY cuts most are used to.Great lunch specials and an even better late lunch after 2pm. The location is way in the corner or this smallish and somewhat janky food court. Probably due to the hangarounds of the smokeshop. Not in a bad area, I mean your 2 blocks from South Coast, but whats great is another of my favorite places is right near it. Lees Sandwiches. Parking seems spacious and plentiful, but people are horrible around here. I often ride my bike here and despite there not being a bike lane for a few hundred yards I care not the food is worth the adventure. Most of Orange County is not bike friendly.

I love Chicken Maison. All their locations are bomb. I also love that they use real plates and utensils instead of having plastic or styrofoam. Oh the food. Delicious and fresh.

The grape leaves are awesome but a bit expensive for only 6 tiny pieces. 6 isnt enough for one order and ordering 2 sides of this is too expensive for such a small amount. I think they need to put at least 8 grape leaves for the price theyre charging for these.

The food here is really good but here is the problem I have with this place. They didnt have chicken ready when we went one day for lunch…really?? No chicken at a place called chicken mason? They said it would be about 30 minute wait which we didnt have the time for, so we got the lamb. Not as good as the chicken, sorry to say.
