This is the best chicken ever. If you are looking for great protein, this is where to find it. The service is excellent. The restaurant is clean. I mean spotless. The staff are friendly, prompt and attentive. There are plenty of Gluten Free options.

We came for the first time to find quick lunch before my daughters class started. And I cant believe the price!. And when we ordered the portion is unbelievable!. You cant beat price with that big portion!. I read 2 people complained here about the taste and price. What did you expect dude?!. Go find junk food restaurant with the price you wanted!. You guys were being disgraceful!. I know exactly the prices and the portion any other restaurants these days. We didnt go to the restaurant like this for a very long time!. This kind of food serve for VA hospital usually and considered well seasoned, simple and healthy!. And for the owner of this restaurant, Id say thank you so much for amazing meal! We would come every week! You guys doing great!

This is the sweetest loveliest little place. I only recently started eating chicken after abt 5 years of being pescatarian. figuring out how to do it and what exactly to eat so I dont get totally freaked out has not been without struggle. the owner at Chicks Natural was nothing short of an angel, letting me try things, giving me a portion that would last me for days, and just being patient and open hearted. the food was honestly... like way too good for someone who has always had a hard time with eating animals. AND it was all super nutritious and not at all heavy or guilt inspiring. sweet humans, good eats... go here. go now. xoL

The owners are really sweet! There are many healthy options to choose from, including brown rice, steamed sweet potatoes, and steamed broccoli. They have a great sesame ginger dipping sauce as well as an award winning BBQ sauce. The portions are huge, but if you want something smaller, they offer a great lunch special as well. Vegan options are available.

I’m done! This place used to be good, it was bought by new owners, and all they’ve done is have three price increases in six months. The food portions are substantially smaller, and the taste is nowhere near what it used to be. The wife of the owner that bought this place is very rude and she treats the employees poorly. I won’t go to a business that is like that…

Been a patron here since I was a child. The food is amazing there isnt anything in town that compares to this comfort food spot. Tonight they helped nurse our sick daughter back to health again with there famous soup. The portions are huge and the staff is so friendly they really make you feel like family. well be back

Their seasoning is unbelievable! Their healthy rotisserie chicken is as flavorful and moist as a fried chicken. And their vegetable sides are so well prepared. You can literally have chicken, broccoli, and carrots, and feel like you cheated.

I have been going to both locations for 20 years. Sadly they closed Mira Mesa, but thankfully this location is still open. The rotary chickens give any dish delicious flavors. My daughters love the chicken Cesar salad. Each dish has been two meals for each of us. I recently started eating the 1/2 chicken meal with vegetables and the skin on the chicken is out of this world!I appreciate this restaurant and will continue to patronize it! 💗

It is the best rotisserie chicken that I have ever had. The side dishes are excellent too. This is homestyle cooking at great prices. You can pay more and the food might come on a fancy plate, but the quality and taste of the food wont be better than Chicks Natural. This place is fantastic!

Always delicious food and friendly service. Best healthy chicken in San Diego. Competitors chicken is often much larger which seems unnatural and is likely due to chemicals. The whole sweet potatoes are my favorite. BBQ chicken sandwiches and burritos are excellent as well. Check Chicks out! You wont be disappointed!

Superior tasty heathy natural food that is hard to match either at home or at nearby restaurants. The roasted chicken is second to none. The cost is unbelievably reasonable and the service crisp and responsive. If you are a vegetarian, which I am not, I will challenge you to find a better vegan menu. My wife and I visit at least once a week and ask ourselves why not twice. We sometimes cheat and eat at Chicks Natural twice a week. Why not!

No frill, delicious chicken place. My go-to for a good chicken sandwich at a price that is unbelievable in Encinitas. The chicken is fresh and well-seasoned and the sides are all great. If you are someone who enjoys a good deal and tasty chicken this is for you. However if youre looking for avocado toast and kombucha...stay away, that frill wont be found here.

My family and I have been customers of Chicks since 1987. The current owner, Eli and his family are very friendly and always deliver excellent customer service every time I come in. Their $6.99 lunch special (before tax) is the best deal in all of San Diego. Their chicken is delicious and they have a lot of sides to choose from. I also love their corn bread, which I always double order. Definitely a go to lunch or dinner spot for anybody living in Encinitas or in the North County surrounding area.
