Cozy spot that surprised me when I stopped by the UPS store next door. I had no idea they were there, so I ordered a ghost roll and gyoza to go to take back to the office for a late lunch. Everyone was inviting and friendly, their service quick and perfect, and when I had the pleasure of sitting down to eat, I was more than thrilled. The gyoza were perfectly prepared, had great flavor and exquisite crunch to the edges. The ghost roll is a treasure I didn’t know was missing from my life. Well balanced with a respectable level of heat, and is amazing with or without the sauce that was included. Thank you to everyone there, you made my evening much brighter. I will be back.

Ive never had sushi so mouthwatering delicious as here. The paradise roll is unique and taste just incredible. Ive never had sushi taste this delicious. Ii had the scorpion roll(spicy). The fried calamari was great. And the saki was good. I highly recommend the PARADISE ROLL. IT IS INCREDIBLE.And they play cool reggae music at just the right volume.

One of those places that you find by accident that blows you away.. but youre almost afraid to tell anybody because youre worried itll get too busy and ruin it. Hands down, one of the best sushi finds! Found It stopping to charge at the Tesla supercharging. Super fresh sushi! Great helpful staff. Ive been back at least six times and have never been disappointed!I would give it six stars if it were possible😊

Very helpful service. Friendly atmosphere. The food is fresh. Delicious. It is small inside but you will be taken care of really well as a customer. They make sure the food tastes fresh. I really appreciated the attention I received as my water glass was never empty. There are maybe about 6 small tables inside so make sure you come early to get a seat.

We love this sushi restaurant! Our family has diverse tastes and the menu here is able to cater to all of us. The staff is personable and knowledgeable about the menu and everything is always fresh, fresh, fresh!

Great, unique sushi. The Ghost roll is one of my favorites with a little spice and smokiness that I didnt think would go with sushi. Also a fan of the Fantasy Roll and Chidori Roll.

This is a small, hole in the wall sushi place. You wouldnt expect to find some of the better sushi youll ever have here, but it is fantastic. The prices are absolutely reasonable as well, if not outright cheap for freshly prepared sushi of this quality.I ordered Chirashi. Miso soup was served first. The soup was excellent. Far above most miso you get with sushi, clearly not an afterthought here. The Chirashi was served in a bowl, as is standard, with 12 (IIRC) pieces. I could wax poetic about the quality of it, but suffice to say it was EXCELLENT. The rice bed was your standard vinegar rice.Service was polite, fast and professional.This is definitely my new go-to sushi place in the area. Cant wait to go back!

I have absolutely no complaints about this place; everything about it is extremely average though. Tried 4 different rolls, all of them were pretty good but nothing expectational. The hot sake was warm, not piping hot. The service was a bit on a slow side despite being the only customer in the store. The server also wasnt rude, but not friendly.So while this isnt a bad place, there are so many local sushi places around that are even better.

Weve been going here for about 4 years and its one of my favorite sushi restaurants in OC. I recommend trying the cidori roll, ghost roll, cilantro roll, and ask for a special roll.

I have been coming here since it opened. This is one of the best kept secrets around. Tony is a very unique talent in his mastery of working with sushi. It is rare to find a talent like this outside of Japan with a unique blending of traditional and culinary fusion. He will hit you with every aspect of the flavor wheel if you let him prepare omakase for you. I have only had one place that could top it but it is hard to get in to Morimotos.

Prices are very reasonable. Although the rations are very small. But my real deal breaker is the rice. I think it is so easy to make a good Japanese rice for sushi but this one is dry, and tasteless. Rice makes such a difference in sushi quality. I would invest some time testing different ways and recipes to get the perfect rice.

Probably as good as any sushi I have had in the US. Honestly didn’t expect much when we first walked in, it’s kind of a small space and initially didn’t seem like anything special, but every roll we had was great, especially the Chidori, Ghost, and Spicy Albacore rolls. Very reasonable prices, we ordered 5 rolls, 2 appetizers, a large saki, and 2 large beers and our bill was just over $100 before tip. Thoroughly impressed and will absolutely plan on coming back next time I am in town.

Front and back of house severely understaffed. Chef works very hard and interacts well with guest. Prices are very reasonable too. However it took a very long while to receive order and bill. (This was on a Friday night)This place is very casual and no frills. Because of the short staffing, plates arent presented well and the fish isnt as precisely cut as other restaurants. Dont expect anything beautiful. However, the rolls do taste good only due to them being absolutely drowned in sauce.Im not sure what the 5 star reviews are thinking. This is far from a 5 star experience. But if you are looking for a casual and lively experience with a lot of time to kill, this is the place for you.

Super fresh fish, Tony is clearly very skilled and knowledgeable, has a fun fusion flair with some of the sauces and it was very refreshing. Plenty of parking as its in the same plaza by Costco, and very friendly treat you like family service. Will definitely be coming back!

Went for a takeout on a Friday evening and found that the dine-in wait was +60 mins! This place is busy which also provides context to the ratings! Even so, the staff is very patient w orders and communicates wait time really well. Ordered a spicy tuna and spicy crab roll. I hadnt had sushi proper in years, so wasnt sure what to expect. While Ive discovered Im not a tuna sushi person (and this isnt a reflection of the place), the crab roll was delicious. Served w soy, wasabi and ginger. I believe it has easy access and theres abundant parking outside.

Delicious! We had the eel and avo roll, spicy tuna roll, paradise roll, and mixed sashimi plate. All were very flavorful and fresh. To top it off the chef and staff are so friendly… I can’t say enough good things. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wife an I have been there once and loved it. Great rolls at a fair price. Small place and gets crowded if you dont get there early. We are heading over again with our son today so we can order a wider variety of rolls and other dishes.

Tony and team are the absolute best! This is the only sushi place my family and I go to and for good reason. They have the kindest service and the best sushi around, of course. Some of the best rolls are off menu so be sure to ask Tony to whip you up something special!

My family comes here at least once a week! My dad and step-mom followed Tony over from his old place of work because we love him and his family and his staff and most importantly the FOOD. He makes special rolls for us and we love them all. Such a talented sushi chef.

Very very rich! It is a small and quiet place, it doesnt have many tables, but it is very cozy. Something I really liked about the place is the hours, it was open when many other sushi places were not. Very friendly staff. They have a variety of raw and cooked dishes! Everything I tried was delicious, my husband really liked the fancy tuna, crab and shrimp roll and the red crab hand roll. I will definitely come back when I can eat raw fish. highly recommended! Quite affordable prices.
