A tiny cart on the corner of 2 major streets, they not only sell shave ice, they sell yummy food too! Make sure to check their instagram every day for their daily special. Lynn and her dad run this little cart and are so great to talk to. Customer service is 10 stars! Food is delicious and super reasonable.

This place has the best food and shaved ice with the nicest owners. If youre in town, this is a must stop. We had the chicken satay with beef padang, noodles, and rice with soy sauce. Absolutely delicious! Of course we had to grab 2 shaved ices (chilly bears) which was a great sweet treat.

Really nice people and great shaved ice! Will have to try the food next. They were so sweet and gave our dog a bowl of shaved ice with some whipped cream. She loved it! We will definitely be back. Worth the stop if you need to cool down after a day at the beach. Tons of flavors to choose from, and super easy access to get back on the road if you dont live in town.

Chilly Bears is the best! They serve shaved ice, homemade Indonesian and Okinawan food. It’s honestly delicious. Sometimes they have special treats (today was bear shaped butter mochi cakes). Highly recommend!

Chilly Bears is an awesome small business that offers a unique set up, good food, great customer service, hospitality & camaraderie. I appreciate that food is prepared fresh upon ordering. The daily menu offers a different dish daily that is scrumptious cuisine pleasant to the pallet. Now, Chilly Bears has extended their menu to include Mexican street Tacos aka TJ Tacos theyre being offered & prepared by José & sold on exclusive days, such as Taco Tuesdays, being one of them. The famous Chilly Bears shaved ice is a must have, its offered In a variety of flavors & also prepared upon ordering. It is refreshing & readily available to all who are overheated or just want to enjoy a delicious treat. In a short time Chilly Bears has become a staple in the Oceanside Community because of its excellence & welcoming reputation.
