I grew up here, Every Thursday night in the 90s-00s we would come here, Id grab my usual (which to this day when Im back in town I grab) Double Chow mei, Orange Chicken and teryaki chicken no Sauce with a Fruit punch Snapple. Anita watched us grow up and to this day Id thank her for turning the TV to Kcal 9 so I Could watch my Lakers or Angels play. She would even put wrestling for me on UPN. Thank you for the memories. 20 + years

Great place to grab a delicious and cheap meal!! Service was friendly and prompt. Food is not as overly greasy like some other Chinese fast food places. Location is right off the freeway and easy to get to. Also, their thai tea is really good! Will definitely be coming back here.

Was in the mood for Chinese food china cook came to mind and went there place was very busy, and had to wait in line. It moved pretty quick so didnt mind the wait, food was prepared fast it was delicious I will be going back soon.
Long wait and the food was not really good too slow waiting for about 40 min to get our food and we thought it was going to be really good due to the line but no the line is due to slow service not good food
China cook is one of the best fast food Chinese in the city if Fontana. Their orange chicken is always fresh not over fired and lots of white meat. All there food is fresh and the people are super nice 🙂
I absolutely loved this place and would always get Chinese food from here. I went two days ago and I noticed that they are starting to weigh their food to make sure they do not give you a lot. I only received two pieces of chicken for a combo plate and four pieces of brocolli. One of the staff members weighed my plate three times, kept scribbling all over the container and ignored my questions. You also need a minimum of $10 to be able to pay with a debit/credit card which is annoying at times.

So I ordered 2 trays and was so upset to have gotten bad spoiled chicken it was slimy and new right away it was bad. I took it back and the lady said she was not able to give me a refund because we had eaten 10% of it. It was not about the $15.94 it was about letting them know they were serving bad chicken and not even apologize about it. They really don’t care about health this can cause someone to get very sick. I only gave them a star because that’s the only way to put a review but it should be a no star. 😡😡😡
Used to be one of my favorite places.. Hot and sour soup is still one of my favs here but the quality of their meat and chicken have gone down somewhat.. Their sesame chicken is still what I come here for, that flavor is something I cant find in other places.. Service is fast and better now that they accept card for payment.
Our Favorite!Weve been coming here thanks to my dad since weve moved into Fontana back in 03 and this has seriously been our favorite Chinese food spot.The food is delicious!The employees are greatAnd the service was great then and improved big time. The ladies there are super nice and friendly. They remember us and my dad which is awesome. And even right now with the whole COVID. They are super safe. Im really thankful they are still open and doing the best they can at this time. Thank you guys!

I dont like one of the women working there because she is very antisocial and looks at you with disdain!Everytime I visit this place, they have raised the prices of the items.But, they have a letter A from the Health Department and that its important to me!
I love going here, food is not to pricy for the quantity and they always have boba drinks and smoothies. Staff are friendly and try their hardest to work quick, as this spot is mostly pack due to the great tasting food. Its always clean inside and I see a variety of people/nationalities dining there....which makes me feel good.
If i could give it a 0 ratings, I would. Im very lenient and easy going with people who work in the food industry because I have worked there myself, but the lady working here was beyond rude. Not only did she yell at my mom, but also refused to serve steam rice and fried rice together. While ringing us up she started talking to her co-worker making dirty face at us. At last our total was $6.45. I gave her 21.50. She refused my 50 cents and gave me nothing but coins back. Seriously what was her problem? We will NEVER return here none the less recommend this place to anyone. Wed hate for anyone to be treated as poorly as we were.
I have been coming here for some time but I definitely wont return. The food isnt the best but its not so bad. But the service these ladies give is something else, they are so rude and have no respect or value towards their customers. I purchased a side of kung pao chicken so I requested peanuts. The lady said she didnt have any, at the moment I asked her to ask the cooks she mumbled something to him and repeated to me she had none. Instantly when the man turned into the kitchen and returned with the peanuts she gave him a look like he was really in trouble. So I simply asked her if I could have a few for my order she didnt want to. She wanted to charge me 50 cents because she was going to hand them to me in a separate container. The 2 oriental ladies and 1 Spanish speaking lady were very rude and just started yelling at me. I most definitely will never return to a place where people do not know how to treat others properly

Would have 4.75 stared if I could. Been going here for years to the point the ladies know me and my friends orders. Great food, large portions. Would have 5 stared but they end up with a bum sitting outside every once in a great while. Its best to just takeout and eat in the comfort of your home. Also its cash only, but they have an atm there if you forget.
Cockroach!!!!!!!! Roach!!!!!! My mother loves this place so she convinces me to try it come to find a giant roach in her steamed rice. Not only that one lady very kind asked if we wanted a replacement or a refund. While we barely had started to eat I could not for the life of me continue to eat anything else so I said full refund except the soda. The coworker raised her voice” if you didn’t want it why did you order it” and I told her I’m not going to eat somewhere with cockroaches! Said it sound enough for two people in line to walk out. I am never rude usually mannered but how could I try and let this woman try and bully me into not getting my money back.

I ordered a chicken bowl with white rice for my 8 year old and they refused to simply put the chicken in a separate container for her. They said if I wanted it separate I would have to order a side of chicken. I wont be going here again. Cashier wasnt pleasant either.
I usually get a 2-item plate whenever I get Chinese, but everything looked so good and fresh that I actually got a 3-item: BBQ pork, sesame chicken, and shrimp stir fry. 😋 Sooooo good! Im definitely coming back.
Love this place, food is always fresh, I buy shrimp fried rice and wontons, i’m not one to have leftover Chinese food for the next day. The food is great the second day and I’m very picky, this is why I like going to buy my food there for the freshness that it is. Customer service is great and it’s also clean.
Egg soup was a little sour and the egg a little dark for my pleasure, noodles were okay little watery . rice was good. Chicken bbq a little burnt but okay as well. Cream chese won tons are big but flavorless .

Im not sure how the food tastes yet but they require a $10 minimum to use your card and it was way too complicated trying to get my meal to get above the threshold, I had to add two water bottles just to be able to use my card. I like things simple and convienent the opposite of my experience here

I’ve been going to China Cook since I was a small child. There aren’t many Chinese food places that actually taste good but this one is by far one of the best I ever had .Update: not sure what’s going on but the taste of the food changed. Very upsetting because I don’t eat Chinese food and this was my go to.

Horrible customer service. They sell barbecue chicken that is really terriyaki chicken. Thank God no one is allergic to terriyaki because the neglient label fails to address the actual ingredients in the sauce. I called torl resolve the issue and the ladies said that territaki chicken and barbecue chicken are the same thing which they are clearly not. They were also ride to another customer in store qho brought up the same point. The customer is always right in customer service and even when the customer was actually right they still couldnt apologize fix their mistake and move on. WONT BE COMING BACK ANYTIME SOON

China Cook is 1 of the best fast food on earth. They serve delicious meals taste, two steps ahead compare to others.

I have been going there for a long time and today was one of the worst experience she started yelling giving me attitude because she didnt understand what I wanted and she did not fully listen in the first place she just walked off and assumed and to top it off and this is why Im writing this review the rice tasted like they make it in dirty water and the orange chicken was soggy i had told them about that a long time ago.
Again my main thing is customer service. The ladies who own or just work there are so freaking rude !!! Cmon people learn how to treat your paying customers.

The ladies are quick quick quick to serve dont even listen sometimes, just smile and be nice... Food is always good always packed there because everyone goes its about two and a half miles from my house there are closer places but we prefer this one... The one off of mango and foothill by the Walmart its better to you skip that one.. the taste of it that is lousy.. this place is packed for a reason I recently try there for Wong tong soup which is very delicious! ENJOY

2023-03-13 16:54:03Ordered some trays for my coworkers and it was the bomb!!! Great value, great flavors! Full trays of teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and beef broccoli!!! With half a tray of chow mein 😋 & a half tray of fried rice!!! Yummy 😋!!! Plenty of food for a 10 man crew!!!
