There are not many good chinese cuisine in the Oakhurst within 50 miles in this area. This restaurant make delicious family style dishes (may request less salty level food). The floor is clean and table are shinny. The outdoor seating may not be the best choice without heating during cold seaso whereas it is a hidden gem during the summer view. Free parking is available while the limited seats are quickly filled during the lunch time. Price are reasonale.

Very good service. The lady was very caring. The food was nice and the portions were big. We took set menu. Our hot and sour soup was hot but not sour enough. Mongolian beef had more onions than beef but was not bad.

Lots to choose from! My company and I opted for the “set menu” which comes with a soup, appetizer and an entree. Great value for the price and the choices were nice. My favorite was the lemon chicken, which I’ve never had before.

Really delicious food, not oily, tastes clean, fresh & healthy. We had the Beef with Black Bean Sauce and the Mushu (or Moo Shu) Pork (comes with 4 wrappers), rice and hot tea. The owner is beautiful, vibrant and friendly, we adored her!Everything was so delicious including the hot tea, Oakhurst water is so good!We dined here on Monday, wanted to come back on Tuesday but was told theyre closed, no! So well have to make trips into Oakhurst, a beautiful town, to enjoy this food again, thank you!

If you are in the mood for some Chinese food after a long hike in Yosemite, this is the place to go. The location is prime, service is great, and food is solid. And you will not leave hungry! Portions are unbelievably huge.I wouldn’t say this place is authentic. It’s more of your typical take-out, American-style Chinese food. No complaints. Just wouldn’t consider this an absolute go-to restaurant.

Orange chicken was fine so was the fried rice and noodles, it was when the bbq buns came out 25 mins later they were straight out of a frozen box /microwave edition. Then the chicken and sticky rice smelled burnt and the protein inside was not chicken. Please see photos below looked like a sponge with black lining, they could have lied and said it was mushrooms that would have been believable not keep lying saying it was chicken.. Def not coming back. They wouldn’t refund the food we sent back which was a measly $6.50..still tipped but a prorated amount. The server wasn’t making the food. 2 stars ⭐️ is generous to be honest.

Been eating here at least three times a month for the 3 1/2-4 yrs and have never been disappointed.The quality amd quantity of the food is always good and the service is excellent. A lot to choose from on the menu and the prices are reasonable.I would highly recommend giving them a try if you enjoy good Chinese food.

We wanted something different than burger/bistro restaurants. This restaurant offers a nice change, with some tasty Chinese cuisine in the region! Decently priced with a generous portion! Obviously it’s not comparable to big city restaurants, but it’s quite an authentic Chinese restaurant in the Yosemite area! Service was also super quick and friendly! If you suddenly have a craving of Chinese food or want something different than just burger/bistro food, come check this place out!

Im am here to tell you about my new favorite Chinese restaurant! I visited Yosemite National Park last week and on the way in I saw the sign for this restaurant and so immediately made note. On my back home I stopped in about 30mins till closing(they have no problem seating you up until 15mins till closing) Eva greeted me with the best smile and was very welcoming from the beginning. Sat down and looked over the menu and decided on 3 dishes. (all prices are very affordable btw)Kung pao chicken special, eggplant in hot garlic sauce and a vegetable noodle dish. All portions were amazing and the taste was very delicious and authentic! I am very picky with my Chinese food and this place sits high up on my list! Definitely a a gem a must anytime I visit Yosemite now!

I’m really surprised how authentic their food can be. Me and my hubby walked in thinking to get some American Chinese dishes but the hostess handed me a separate menu of authentic dishes. They even have dim sum! If you’re around and want to get some real Chinese food, this is your best bet.

We were 11 people and trying to find good food after a whole day in Yosemite National Park. The restaurant advertised that it would close at 10pm but when we called them at 9:55pm they willingly agreed to serve us which was a savior! The staff was great and accommodating, the food was really good too! The Sweet and Sour and Egg Flower soup was refreshing after a long day and the Kung Pao Chicken, Fried rice and Chowmein were really good too. Would definitely recommend checking this place if you are in the area.

We come to Yosemite every summer (outside of Covid restrictions, this is our 8th time) and usually never stray from Oakhurst; naturally, we have tried many of the local restaurants. We decided to give China Delight a try on a whim this year and....wow. I have to say this is one of the best Ive ever tried here — authentic food, quick service, great dining experience — this restaurant has you covered. We honestly loved it so much that we dined here for all nights of our stay and I couldnt have it any other way. If you happen to be in the area, please give this one a try (I would especially recommend their garlic-oil eggplant, dry stir-fried beans, and twice cooked pork!). Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back next time!

Called in an order to go and got the orange chicken dinner special and it came with both noodles and fried rice, as well as soup and an egg roll. The food was ready in a reasonable time and the price was decent, too. Everything was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend eating here if youre in the area and craving Chinese.

We were heading home in San Jose and spotted this restaurant. I was a little hesitate after reading a bunch of negative reviews but decided to give it ago since we were craving for Asian food. And Im glad we had lunch here. The service was friendly and fast. I really enjoyed all the food our waiter recommended. The steam chicken and the stuffed tofu were superb! Everyone in my group was so happy with the yummy food. Strongly recommend!

Wife had General’s chicken meal for one, I had Mongolian beef meal. Generous portions! Started with hot and sour soup, really tasty and spicy/sour in a rich broth. General’s chicken was crunchy (not soggy), moist chicken, properly spiced sauce. Mongolian beef was rich, tender, and also well seasoned! Served with lo mein noodles and fried rice, neither are anything special but are solid sides. The included egg roll was really tasty also ( I usually have a bite and give the wife the rest - not these, ate it all!). Overall a great meal!

I love their food, and the service is fast and friendly. I recommend the special dinner plates with choice of meat, fried rice, noodles, egg roll, and won-ton with choice of soup (hot sour or egg flower). Make sure to ask for sweet and sour sauce container and soy sauce packet, silverware if you order it to go. If you come in, recommend making reservations just in case. If order take out check your order as they on occasion forget to add the sauces.

There was so much grease in the bottom of my sweet and sour pork that the grease and sauce were fighting on the plate for dominance and it tasted like the grease hadnt been changed since the last time I ate here. The food we had was great. My wife had the Orange Chicken and I had the Spicy Garlic Chicken. Each came with a soup appetizer, fried rice, chow mein and an egg roll. We both enjoyed our meals. The servers were not as attentive as we would have liked. It appeared the only time they came out of the kitchen area was when something needed to be delivered to a table. They were courteous but not as available as we would have liked. That said we would come back for the food.

We got here at 7:30. Our food arrived at 9:13. 4 tables that were sat after us got all their food. The staff doesn’t care. We had to flag down waiters all night. We didn’t get our drinks until 5 minutes before our food arrived. When the food and drinks finally arrived, no one brought utensils so my hungry son was eating with his hands while we tried to flag down another waiter to get eating utensils. Other tables even said they felt bad for us.If this place is even slightly busy, go somewhere else.

We decided to have dinner here since we were spending Christmas in Oakhurst. The food was at best just ok. Service was ok. The drinks were soda cans with a glass of ice so we poured ourselves. The table was too small for 10 people. We were charged 18% mandatory gratuity on a $230 bill. So the tip was $44. For drinks we poured ourselves and having to sit sideways to not bump elbows. There were no signs posted anywhere about mandatory gratuity anywhere. This place is mediocre. Nothing special to charge that amount. Horrible! They deserve 0 stars!

We went to the restaurant at around 8:30pm, but they only serve us a vegetable, which is delivered by mistake.We waited until 9:30pm and asked what was happening. They said they cannot make food.When we were leaving, they were threatening us and said, you have eaten the vegetable and you need to wait for 15mins, or you won’t be able to find any other restaurants.I was so disappointed and mad at the attitude and service!! Super gross. Smells bad as soon as you walk in, that should have been our warning to just walk out… the oil they use must be rancid or something, everything had a weird taste to it. My beef and broccoli was inedible. The broccoli was absolutely covered in canned garlic, the beef was I think freezer burnt. My girlfriends dish was equally nasty. The lo mein was the least bad on the plate. Portions were huge, but I’d rather have half the meal of better food.The woman running the place was very friendly. Unfortunately theres no delight to be found here. I thought I would stop in and try their lunch special (first time customer). I asked first for a to go menu thinking I would just take it home. I was told that prices were 2 dolla mo. She repeated this to me three times. I decided to dine in the restaurant which looks nothing less than a budget cafeteria.. absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. I had hot and sour soup (good), then orange chicken, white rice and an egg roll. I would rate the food overall has mediocre and certainly nothing special. Lastly when I got the bill I was charged $3.24 more for the meal. I told the lady that she told me it was $2 more several times. She apologized and charged me anyway. Based on this lackluster experience, I cant honestly recommend that anyone eat here. :-(

We went there because it was super close to the Tesla charging station and were very pleased!! The staff was *super* nice and attentive, the space was clean and welcoming, and the food was tasty! I traveled for a week I passed by Oakhurst and saw this restaurant, I craved for Chinese food and I just want to have some, I did not have much expectation. But I am pleasantly surprised! The food is very authentic. I am a Chinese and a pretty good cook myself, I couldn’t make the beef stew with tofu this tasteful. I strongly recommend this dish. I also ordered a stir fry Chinese green veg and pepper & salt pork chop (椒盐排骨). Both are excellent. These dishes do not have heavy sauces and No MSG taste. Delight. Delight. Delight

My husband and I live outside of North Fork near Kinsman Flat and I went into Oakhurst today for our monthly shopping and decided to bring home Chinese food which is like a treat for us since we live so far away in the mountains but unfortunately, this was far from a treat! This was actually the worst Chinese food by far that we have ever eaten in our entire lives and we were so disappointed! We took a couple bites of each item and threw it all away so $48 down the drain! The fried prawns were so well done you couldn’t even bite into them, the sweet-and-sour pork meat was so dried out an old and didn’t even taste like pork, the pork fried rice and the chow mein had no flavor and the grease literally was soaked at the bottom of the container! It was so gross and if I lived closer I would’ve took it back immediately so, don’t even bother trying this place! I have no idea how they survive when the tourists leave town because, I know there can’t be many locals that eat there! Oh well, lesson learned!

Usually I love to try new things BUT the rice is so good I just order that & then share other dishes my family that they ordered & try those. This restaurant was pretty good. Well seasoned, well prepared, and super good in general. I definitely recommend their house fried rice and Won Ton soup. It was pretty crowded but they were able to seat us in less than 5 minutes. Staff wasn’t super talkative but they were still perfectly kind. You should definitely eat here.

We stopped at Oakhurst to visit Yosemite for 2 days and went to have dinner here. The food was fine until we asked the waitress for scissors. We have a kid and she has wiggly tooth so she cant chew on the sautee ongchoy.The waitress took the scissors out from a dirty container which they use for dirty dishes. Then she used a super dirty towel ( the towel is used to clean tables with a purple chemical bottle next to it). She thought that we dont see what she did because she has her back turn to us but unfortunately my husband turned around and saw it. I cant believe she had done it.Will never stopped here again.

My family and I were camping in the Upper Pines Campgrounds in the Yosemite National Parks. After a trip to the Sugar Pines Railroad, we had driven down 41 to the village to get lunch and coffee! What a great choice this was! We ordered 4 dishes: Mongolian Beef, Beef with Black Bean Sauce, Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken. A toddler was in the restaurant riding a bike. When she saw us, she went and got her mom. She is so cute! Eva, her mom, was super nice and friendly. Its currently for take out only. So went back to get my kiddos hands sanitized and ready to eat in the car. I went back with some snacks I had to give them to the little girl. That was probably about 5 minutes after ordering. When I went back in, the food was ready! SOOO QUICK! As I walked back to the car, I couldnt believe how heavy these two bags of food were. The portions were so big and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Between the four of us, we could only finish two of them. This is a jewel of the town!

There was one girl managing the front, serving water/tea, and taking orders. We got family dinner A and everything was so fresh and authentically made. Also happy about the prices.Maybe this was just a lucky day but I asked for yu choy (an item not listed on the menu) and they gave the most generous serving of perfectly sautéed garlic yu choy Id ever had. I couldnt help but notice that it was ultra fresh and they didnt remove any of the leaf part (as many restaurants Ive been to do because its not fresh).

I was there on Thanksgiving on the way back from Yosemite. Ordered Orange chicken, fried quid, wonton soup, fried rice and fried chow fun. Our family of eight finished all dishes completely with no leftovers. The food was very good. Fried chow fun was on par with any other good chinese places, I can certainly taste the wok hei the high heat aroma. As locals, this is my familys go-to spot for delicious Chinese takeout. We usually go for the dinner for ones, with my husband and son getting orange chicken and myself ordering Kung Pao chicken. So fresh, flavorful and filling. Seriously, besides being some really good eats, the portions are so generous. Not sure if some reviewers are used to getting something different, but personally this is hands down the best Kung Pao. A light somewhat brothy spiced sauce with zucchini, carrots, bells peppers, peanuts and beautifully tender chicken. Well done China Delight!! We came here after hiking Lewis Creek Trail (since our original Yosemite hike was cancelled due to the Ferguson fire) and playing for a few hours at Bass Lake. We were beat and looking for a seat down dine-in restaurant. We found this place via Yelp. We were greeted and seated promptly for a group of 9.We ordered egg drop soup, kung pao chicken, vegetable delight, string beans, sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, mapo tofu, and broccoli beef. Service was prompt and attentive, that I will give them, but their food was mediocre at best and ranges closer to Cantonese style since everything was on the bland side. Almost all the dishes lacked flavor and cooked much differently than what Im familiar with in the SGV back in LA (where we have a huge Chinese community).* Egg drop soup: Probably the best dish we ordered. Dashes of egg and corn, but it was still very light in flavor though.* Kung pao chicken: The worst dish by far. I took one bite and had to spit it out. It tasted like over boiled chicken making it tough in texture and it was spicy in a very offensive way that made my taste buds cringe (usually supposed to be cooked with chili peppers giving it nice aromatic spiciness).* Vegetable Delight: Hard to mess up this one since most of it was just boiled vegetable in a goopy mess of starch. Decent dish.* String Beans: Very mediocre. Tasted more like it was boiled then sauteed with onions when its supposed to have a nice crisp and cooked with minced meat. It was limp and flavorless.

Came across this Chinese restaurant during a stay at the Yosemite Southgate hotel. It is within walking distance of the hotel so we decided to give it a try, not expecting too much. We were greeted by the hostess right away. We decided to try the beef stew tofu and salty pork. Well, to our surprise, both of those dishes were very good and very authentic.
