Ordered orange chicken with chow mein upgrade. It was totally tasteless. Chicken lettuce wraps were good however. 2 star review because 2 of the 3 dishes were tasteless. Will not come back

My daughter who is super picky called the food “The best food she’s ever tasted”My wife and I who have been around the block with Chinese food, were astonished at the portions, the absolute IMMACULATE interior and the FANTASTIC service.I will be coming back here whenever in Carlsbad next.The food is not only tasty, but they are generous with portions. And again, worth emphasizing the staff were SO KIND and helpful.Great place if you’re a T Rex (meat eater) or a Brontosaurus (Vegetarian)

I usually order take out from here because they are quick, polite, and the food is consistently amazing. Theyre usually busy but the line also goes really fast. Recently ordered two egg drop soups for dinner and it was filling and great, would definitely recommend

Convenient, dependable, and hits the spot! Our go to Chinese resto in the area. The order taker is very efficient, polite and friendly. He went above and beyond and placed a free meal for us even though I ordered through door dash. Note: call in orders/order directly through their website to avail their monthly coupons.

This restaurant is very clean. The staff is really friendly and the food is fantastic. We got so much food and we’re surprised at how little we paid for it. The chow Mein, broccoli beef, and orange chicken were amazing. Will definitely be back!

Order taker was awesome, decor is friendly, I ordered Kung Pao chicken and there were little bits of chicken an a whole lot of vegetables, complete and utter rip off. The other fish dish we ordered was good. I have frequented Chinese restaurants all over the world and country and Kung Pao is my favourite so this is not cool.

The Singapore Noodles and egg rolls are bomb here. Just dont recommend the broccoli beef. Overcooked, slimy and not too tasty. The service is great and the prices are cheaper than most!

Food here is always excellent. They offer great lunchtime specials. For lunch the price is less and they give you large portions and soup. I come here for dinner and lunch all the time. great service and food

This is a little gem tucked away in the corner of the shopping square. The food is hot and fresh, although the quality and flavor can differ depending on who is at the wok that day. Lunch menu pricing is great. They automatically bring you with egg drop soup when you arrive, which is a great touch, but the broth is a bit bland. Very pleasant experience every time.

I really like this place for Chinese food. The cream cheese wontons and honey walnut shrimp were very tasty! Service was speedy for dine-in. They were eager to serve and to please. I appreciate the cleanliness and brightness of the restaurant as well. Reasonable prices. Great experience and I will eat here again!

Very attentive service, but the food was unremarkable. Beware of the Kung Pao Chicken. It was so spicy I only had a few bites and couldn’t even come close to finishing it. On the other hand, if your sinuses are congested, problem solved!

Pork egg foo young had no pork, just egg and onions. Rice was bland and overcooked. Eggs rolls were small. What a rip off for the prices. Chinatown in Leucadia is a much better option.Wheres the pork?? Will never return.

Nailed it! Spot on with everything. Fantastic customer service, I’ve had door dash and dine in and both times food was beautiful - hit the spot, portion sizes enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day, and the atmosphere was lovely and fresh. And…. The price was amazing. My only regret is that I did not come sooner. It’s deceiving that google says $$$ for the price because I would have been turned off. I did truly enjoy my meal and the service, very nice place to land for fun or after a long day. :) Thank You!

They are always so nice! I call in my orders and pick up within ten minutes. The food is consistently delicious. We get the seafood delight with large shrimp, crab, etc. Generous. Good brown rice too 😋

We ordered the Family Meal and it was very generously portioned and the food was delicious. We also had a coupon for free pot stickers, which I forgot to add to the online order, so I called and they were very nice about adding it. Ordering online was easy and delivery was faster than expected (they do their own delivery within 5 miles). The driver was wearing a mask when he dropped off the food, and the whole process was contactless and felt very safe during this pandemic. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered some orange chicken and it was the sorriest orange chicken ever. My fork would not go through the chicken, that’s how hard it was. The rice had no flavor, and it was stuck in huge chunks. For how nice the place is, the chicken must’ve have been sitting there for a while. Usually don’t write reviews but this one was pretty bad.

First time visitors. Good sized portions... But not that good. orange chicken is sloppy and tasted just like the sweet and sour. Plus they messed up our order for our pork fried rice and Beef chow mein... They gave us (and charged us) for the house version which includes 3 types of meat—including shrimp to which Im allergic.Check your receipts and make sure they give you the right food is all Ill say.

I have ordered takeout from here many times. Delivery is fast, and the food is great. Normally chinese food bothers my stomach, but it doesnt here. The fried wontons are addictive - SO good. Teriyaki chicken is also really good. The shrimp sizes and portions are also great. Many places use tiny shrimp with no flavor, not here. Also the food is not greasy. I am so glad I found this place by mistake. TIP: the kids size portions are still a great size if you want to save a few bucks 😉

Food is good, but the service is seriously out of touch. We ate inside and they had the side door open with someone smoking outside so it reeked of cigarettes while we were eating. The girl working was on her phone behind the counter for the majority of the time we were there and they had a lot of staff on cleaning the kitchen, including the person serving our food and I never saw him wash his hands. I did however see him lower his mask twice to rub his nose and mouth and then still not wash his hands. It was a really bizarre environment. I suggest just getting takeout so you dont have to think about whats going on inside.

One of the few places you can get vegan Chinese food a la carte, locally around here at a reasonable price. I like that they have so many options in terms of what you want to add as a side for your dish. The options they have as sides are chow mein, brown rice, and white rice. Surprisingly they have plenty of vegan options. Its convenient because you can order online to pick up or deliver. I highly recommend this place if youre in the market for vegan Chinese takeout.

Went to China fusion for the second time this evening. I enjoyed the food the first time, but was frustrated with the 30 minutes extra that I waited beyond the eta given online (albeit they were extremely busy). My gf and I gave it another try and Im really happy we did. I was greeted kindly and given my order immediately. Im extremely impressed with the portions, as well as flavor of all the dishes we have tried. Im so glad we finally have a quality Chinese takeout in the encinitas/carlsbad area!

Discovered this place by accident during COVID19. The take out was fast and the food was great! I have been back a few times since and still great food.
