It was a quiet Thursday night for dine in, but lots of take out orders, giving us a good feeling about the quality of the food and we were not disappointed. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff, food was fast and delicious.

I love this place!! The service is always the best! The food is always excellent. Today I had Kung pao chicken. The vegetables were fresh and the dish had the perfect amount of heat. I will be coming back soon!

Great food and super friendly service. We came in near closing time and werent sure theyd serve us. Other places in the area like Wonderful close 1 or more hours before the time listed on the website and wont even take orders 30 mins before closing. We will definitely be back for more great food. We ordered dinner C for 2 and they let us substitute with no charge

I was looking for a new Chinese restaurant to go. I read the reviews and decided to try it. I was very happy and the food was excellent. The chicken chow mein is the best that I ever had. I will go back but there closed on Mondays.🙁

Theyre now doing dine-in and now have a new appetizer, Deep Fried Potstickers. Theyre basically potstickers that were deep fried and not pan-fried. Really yummy 😋 (six pieces per order, $9.99)

Weve been to this spot twice and although the portions are spectacular, the taste / seasoning is not. The flavor is lacking, youd get more flavor out of a store bought sauce packet of broccoli beef, and prices are VERY over priced for what you get. Imagine spending $16.00 for a handful of wings? ( 6 wings ) Dude was nice at the counter though. Still no indoor dining. Heres updated prices.

Ordered general chicken combo dinner and pot stickers for takeout tonight. Said it would be ready in 10 minutes, got there in 9. Place was empty at 8 on a Saturday night. Quite strange. Food was ready, very hot, plentiful, and damn good. I will be back.

Very friendly, clean, awesome food.I had the lunch meal with generals chicken. It came with Soo much food. None of us were able to finish our plates.Very reasonable and our waiter had us laughing.Will definitely be coming back soon.

We were a party of 4. This was my first time eating at this establishment, and it was wonderful! We were greeted and seated, drinks came first and quickly! Food was all amazing and the portions are VERY generous! They were kind to us and very attentive without being rude or intrusive, which I appreciate. They even pack our boxes to go for us! I love this place for the quality of food! We have an EXTREMELY picky eater who also stated he wouldnt mind coming back to eat here again. Mind you, he only at at 1 Chinese food restaurant for the past 15 years and because of COVID they closed. I believe we have found our new favorite place! Thank you for the wonderful service and food!

A friend invited me here for lunch. I have not had authentic Chinese food in years! The food was outstanding! Served piping hot. Quaint location in a strip mall. Six different lunch entrees, all under $12. If you are a light eater, there is plenty of left overs for dinner or a lunch the next day. Fresh vegetables are used. Fabulous! Definitely will return again.

Classic American Chinese options with toned down spice and flavor. Weve liked everything weve tried besides the Mongolian Beef but flavor could be turned up a bit. I also wish the orange chicken was crispy like on our original visit. We do repeat here though. Solid eats for a fair price at a local spot.

We wanted Chinese food and we were not near our usual place. We Googled this place and went in for an early supper. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. We were greeted warmly. The menu had a nice big selection. My wife had Wor Won Ton Soup and I had Vegetable Deluxe. The service was quick and the food was outstanding. We have eaten in many places in the country and in Europe, so we know what we like. The food here was FANTASTIC. The last thing I said to our waiter as we left was we will be back again. ........and we will. Highly recommended

Food was very good. We kept it simple with sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice. Both were excellent and served piping hot and fast. We also got the crab wontons and fried prawns which were also superb. We will definitely be back, as the atmosphere and service were fantastic and we live very close. Great find!

Easily the best Chinese food in Citrus Heights. The prices are very reasonable, and every entree I have had there surprised me with how good it was. The owner and his family are usually there, and he will even come over for a chat sometimes.I recommend the generals chicken, any of the fried rice (has a nice smoky flavor!), and the Wor wonton soup. You will not be disappointed!

Been eating here for decades. Even after they sold to another family, the menu and food quality remained phenomenal. Hands down, best Chinese in the area outside of old Folsom. Regularly have the salt and pepper squid (so bomb), pork chow fun and chicken fried rice. Have not found a menu item that isnt delicious. Also, try the war wonton soup! And they deliver! A+++ food. A+++ service.

Great food, great fired rice and there kung pow is on point. Squid is super tender, not rubbery at all. Polite and friendly waiters and fine atmosphere. GREAT PRICES (under $30 for 3 people). Take out is quick too (15-20 minutes on average). Over all great place to get asian dishes.

Hi,HAPPY NEW YEAR!I bought the moo shu pork, vegetable fried rice and hot and sour soup.If you like to mix things up add the rice to the soup and your favorite condiments to these dishes. Comes out more flavorful.This place is fine.I only gave it 4 stars because the food is not fantastic BUT it is good. Also its tasty and fresh enough to really enjoy. Portions are mostly big.I definitely will be back to try more dishes.BON APPETIT!!!

We moved to the area from San Francisco and finding a good Chinese restaurant has not been easy. However, what I love about China House is that everything is fresh, the food is excellent, and they will make anything I ask for. Lemon Tofu - on the menu because I kept asking for it. Same with a lot of the other vegan/vegetarian dishes. If they have the ingredients, they will make anything you ask for. Wait staff is helpful, place is clean...we eat there 3-4 times per month. Now - does anyone know a really good place for dim sum?

Ive eaten here a couple of times its usually not too bad. They have decent rice and noodles. But today i ordered some food and as i was chewing i chewed on something very hard so i pulled it out and it was a small rock or stone of some sort. Im totally freaked out about it and disgusted. How does a rock get into my food at a resteraunt. I cannot ever eat here again because of that and i wish i could get my money back.

In a word HORRIBLE. It was over 3 years ago that i stopped eating at this place after today 7/2/2014 I will never go back. I hope they get out of the restaurant business as what they serve and the filth and dirt in this place makes me want to gag.I order lemon grass chicken from the to go menu. Nothing shows it was a spicy dish and usually that would not matter to me. I like spicy food, but this stuff was so hot that nobody could eat it and the chow mein was brown and tasted burnt.I have eaten better food at the grocery store deli chinese food counters and paid much less too. I took my to go order home before checking the order. It is so true the screw you at the drive through.I cant understand the reviews that say it is good. I can only guess those people have no relevant experience to tell good from bad.

China House is ridiculous! I love this place. I am someone with strict eating guidelines and this place makes whatever I ask for! I asked for rice noodles with veggies and a spicy sauce - AMAZING. My cousins order the lunch special (super affordable) which is a huge serving of meat of choice, fried rice, chow mein, and an egg roll. If it comes with a certain type of meat, just ask for a substitution and they will charge you a small fee. TOTALLY WORTH IT! They are closed on Mondays, but deliver Tue - Sun, so that makes up for it! Try this place, you will thank me later!
