Decent size, tasted great, fast and friendly service!
After ordering four, the waiter still missed one.Asking how long to wait, no one answered.I finally canceled, and I wont come again. The service is not good.Is the service attitude so poor because most of them are tourists?
We got all szechuan dishes. Awesome flavor and spice. Service was quick. Will have to come here again to try more dishes
The service is good, and their food has a good presentation. I wouldn’t say it’s very authentic though because the taste is very light and not spicy enough to be called real Szechuan food. Every dish tastes ok but not exceptional and won’t leave a strong positive impression that would make you feel like going there again.
Id say the experience was a bit of a 3.8 or so but what can you expect on New Years Eve. Spotty service but otherwise decent food made for an alright experience. Food can be rather pricy but the atmosphere is nice. Mongolian beef texture is *very* nice but the lack of vegetables (i.e. bell peppers and onions) left a little to be desired.
Every review about the wait staff being rude is VERY TRUE, the waitress who was not attentive at all took it upon herself to add a $7.00 tip on my copy to sign when she brought me the check (no posting of gratuity being added or mandatory anywhere or even in the menu). I mean I have never seen a wait staff do that before in my life! Also the food was edible but not the best or even close and to me is over priced, the plates were dirty and she served us water with stuff floating around in it, YUCK! I wouldnt eat here again even if the food was free! Wish I could give zero stars. ZERO!
Super authentic! My favorite place in the Bay Area for the dry fried string beans. Love going here every time I head to the outlets. Also served us when it was very late, 15 minutes before closing.
The restaurant is beyond my expectations!!! Really authentic food with reasonable prices! Highly recommend Mao Tsai pot and mouth-watering chicken (for people who love spicy food). Definitely will go there again!

Great tasting spicy Chinese food. Try the couples delight and Don Don noodles. Sweet and sour chicken was good too. Very clean and modern restaurant. Great service. Plenty of free parking.

First time there last night. OMG, it was so delicious. I had chow mein and spicy chicken wing. It was so tasty. The wings were crunchy and the amount of heat was perfect. I will be driving myself there again soon.
The Mongolian Beef is the best I EVER had in my life!!!! And the beef in the fried rice is perfectly cooked! Not chewy likenmost other restaurants. Highly recommended!!!

Tasty Szechuan cuisine. Fast and friendly service. My husband and I ordered three dishes, and you can taste different flavors. Not like some Szechuan restaurant, all you can taste is spicy. Highly recommend. Only thing is if the service could be more attentive it would be great.

The food is decent, do items have authentic flavor and the rest are Fusion type. But their behavior and attitude is very bad. First receive your call and tell you wait, and never respond after that. Then even after ordering 40 minutes before arriving they dont start preparing and you have to wait half an hour more to get your food. This used to be good couple years before but now I will give my money some better place for better food and hospitality. I will never come back to this restaurant again

Expensive and long wait, 3 dishes $63 for an hour. We were the first customers to make the to go order at 5pm. We found they treat dine-in customers priority after we waited for half hour, dine-in customers who arrived after us are finishing their meals. Waiter tell us to keep waiting. We got our to go order around 6pm. It’s not the right business practice to treat customers with to-go orders differently.
Our friends who are originally from China took us here and told us the foods pretty authentic. Its great! Love the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place and the ambiance is nice too. The boiling oil fish specialty dish is delicious (and numbing spicy)! Overall, the service is good. There was this one lady server who was extremely rude to us. I think she overheard me say how rude she was, and soon after, she kept coming over to make sure our table was taken care of. There are Americanized dishes that are good as well. Great place.
Great food, mediocre service. I ordered via their website for takeout and was told my order would be ready in 25 minutes. When I showed up, I waited about 10 minutes in line, because there were a few people waiting ahead of me. When I got to the front, they couldnt find my order. It turns out that they hadnt been checking the online orders. The hostess at the front apologized and said that it would be another 30 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour and a half for my food. A little frustrating.The food is, however, good enough where I would still go back. If ordering take-out, I would recommend calling to order. (If you order online, call them to make sure they got your order.) I will mention that they seemed understaffed that day. There was one hostess who was busy taking/distributing take-out orders, answering phone calls, and helping to pack take out orders. She seemed a little flustered and curt with the customers, though she was working hard. I think if they had more people working, the service could be as good as the food.
The Twice Cooked Pork is absolutely delicious here, the best weve had. The rest of the dishes were very good too but were as expected to taste. The house fried rice was the only dish we didnt love, it was very bland and greasy so we wont reorder that again. The wait staff is busy and sometimes forgetful, but are very nice, polite, and accommodating. We will revisit when we can to try the other extensive menu selections on offer at this restaurant. We love good Chinese food and while we dont eat Chinese food often, when we have to dine out it is one of our two main cuisines we seek to enjoy.
Wow... where do I begin...Well they made us wait for a while before they sat us even though theyre was nobody there, and she first asked if we were ready to order...almost like she didnt want us to dine in...we should have taken the hint. We sat down and she asked if we wanted something to drink? I said water, my husband said sprite...I got a warm glass of water and so did he... no sprite. Then when she came to take our order my husband had a question about one of the dishes...she said, So you need more time, and walked away. She came back later and took our order, my husband ordered the Mongolian beef and orange chicken and asked for the sprite again and I ordered the green pepper chicken. My husbands food was not so bad...mine was horrible... not green pepper chicken it was 100 different chilis chicken...tasted like you lit a match in your mouth. She eventually brought his drink... in a TO GO CUP! My husband asked for the check and she pretty much threw it on our table. I tried telling her that I was unsatisfied with my meal but she walked away...We paid and left and yes we still left a tip. Im sure they will lose no sleep over our unsatisfactory experience. Apparently we are not the kind of people they enjoy serving... you see even other customers walked in they had hot tea taken to them and water with ice b.ut we were not, Their cup of tea, it was just very apparent that my husband and I were the only couple of a different race there. So if you want to experience racism in 2022...just visit the China Lounge... youll get a great taste for it. Sincerely yours, Officer....
Foods taste ok but the service is horrible! To be honest, the dishes are pretty spicy even in bay area. We spent almost $100 on our lunch but the stuff there were acting like we own them $1000000! No body checked if we were doing ok, no one would reply if you say thanks to them…we don’t know what were going with them. And we still need to pay the tips at the end for the “cold service”. I used to like this place a lot, but after this time, emm bye bye!

Terrible attitude from one of the waitress. She said we were only allowed to order once since they were too busy. At the end We realized we ordered too many dishes but the waitress said what we ordered wasnt enough at first. The worst part was they didnt serve us one of the dish but they claimed they did. The owner did offer us redo that dish instead of returning the money, but we didnt want to wait for it.The food is delicious though. We all enjoyed it.
To start, it was very cold and uncomfortable. When its 50 degrees outside and the place has the air conditioner on, always baffles me. I asked your waiter if they could do something about it and of coarse he did nothing. The service was good. We couldnt order the lunch menu because of Chinese New Year week. The hot and sour soup was good. The combination fried rice was not. Dont order it. The worst Ive ever had, no flavor, it just looked like white rice with a few frozen peas and carrots thrown in, and a few pieces of meat. We wont go back.
Recommended by a friend and it was a great dining experience. Nice seating, good atmosphere and the restaurant was very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a great selection of authentic chinese dishes, this is the place. China Lounge has been added to my top 5 list of places to eat.
Best Mongolian beef ever! Huge portion of the boiling fish (for reference, Im 6ft, 230lbs and I eat at least 5lbs of food at buffets). Lamb stir fry was delicious. Chow mein mix was good. I never had plum tea but it was ok. Service was great!
I have been to this place about 7 times and have a family gathering!The food was all satisfactory and the clean atmosphere was good!But every time we go, the old women server! that make our family feel uncomfortable say that their wives do not want to go back here anymore! I thought my family had such an experience, but other friends families say they do not go there anymore because of the same experience!If the owner or supervisor sees the eagle, he should quickly fix the problem for the woman and I think the store will no longer have problems!
One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the entire Bay Area for really spicy food. Very nice upscale atmosphere. Perfect Christmas eve dinner with friends who appreciated spicy food. The service for the non spicy food we needed for the kids were very slow and they were starving, so try to ask for those early.

One star for the rude waiter at this restaurant when we were dining inside. There is one male waiter always talking super loud with sometimes dirty words (not to us but like talking to himself super loud) when we were dining inside last week, and also the week before. My husband was very angry and he refuses to go dining in this restaurant anymore. It’s very unfortunate as we actually like the food. Hope they can take actions to ensure a pleasant dining environment for customers.
They had great customer service! Food was delicious but some dishes, such as their cabbage, was just ridiculously too too salty! They gave us a new plate after notifying them but still too salty. Overall it wasnt bad.

Good food but they have a huge prejudice against you if you are not of the same race. Im being completely honest here. Even the people who are consumers are rude.When I got in I had to wait a good 10 minutes until I was noticed. They were seating everyone else but ignored me. I decided to stare at them since my voice wasnt loud enough. Once I finally told them I was picking up my order they got it and it didnt take long. I was being polite, but in their case I was being very polite. To no surprise I was still treated rudely.Love the food, hate the service. People are just filled with so much hate.
First time here. The service was terrible!! The waiter sat us down and forgot about us. We had to flag him down just to order our drinks. He then left and did not come back to take our order. The place was not even busy. The food was a little above average but too oily and too much ginger! Overall the experiment was terrible. I would not go here if you want good service and good food. We ordered 3 dishes to go weekday from its website chinaloungetogo.com, didn’t realize it comes with rice, turns out that rice is much bigger portion and dish is a small portion. As far as taste, 2 of 3 are pretty good, one of them is a little too salty and not feel authentic.
Delicious spicy Chinese food. We had the 5 spices chicken, mixed vegetables, spicy wonton and cold noodles. The server tried to stir us away from trying the chicken, “only Chinese people eat that” she said because it has bones. We felt adventurous so we went for it and it was really tasty but we had to be careful because of the many small bones.

Iam posting because of the terrible attitude of the waiters. We order items for togo and i went after 1.5 hrs though i was given 1 hr to prepare the order. When i asked about my order they are behaving very rudely. I was just asking for how long does it take more to prepare the order after waiting for 10 min at the store. I can understand you guys might be busy but the least i was expecting is nice way of telling. Really rude these guys.
Food was really good, but a little spicier than other Chengdu restaurants. Skip the rabbit. The other dishes were great though. Really liked the stir fried lotus root.
Arrived at restuarant at 11am today, right when they opened. No customers on site and seem to be the first to enter. Opened the menu and placed a to go lunch order for Mongolian beef, menu mentioned soup of the day and chose of brown or white rice, gave her my credit card and was charged $14.69, signed and had to wait another 30 minutes to get my food. When I asked where is my soup the lady named Lulu said, no soup, only dine in, of course there is no mention of it on the menu. The serving was so small and tasted very, very oily and did not have the clispiness that I had tasted before, intact it was so bad that I had to throw it away.In conclusion, rude people, expensive, and food quality awful. Never going again!
The lunch bentos are great and really tasty. Highly recommend their spicy beef jerky and you will regret if you dont try it.If you have Wechat installed, you can also order via their Wechat group and pay through Venmo. 100% no contact services to avoid any potential exposure to coronavirus. I like this restaurant, its very delicious, which make me feel I am in China. I like the dessert, glutinous rice cake with brown sugar. But they dont provide noodle soup or rice cake soup. Now its very hot in summer, I like soup.
-5, This was the worst Chinese Food I have ever had. The service was awful, the food was horrendous. I got the distinct impression that they would prefer that white people did not come in....no problem....once was enough. The egg rolls tasted like the were stuffed with mush and the wrappers were thick and yuk. The pot stickers tasted the same as the ones you buy in the grocery store and cook at home, which are ok but the sauce tasted like that sweet little package you get with Pandas to go pot stickers. No condiments to mix your own (rice vinegar, chili sauce, etc.,) I asked for some mustard to hopefully be able to eat the egg rolls and I was brought yellow mustard? Not that the Chinese Mustard would have helped them. At this point we decided we were not going to order an entrée and were going to call it quits after the soup.The soup came and it looked so hopeful but there was no sour to it at all. I asked for some vinegar which is a very important ingredient to Hot & Sour soup and was brought Red Rice Vinegar. Totally different flavor but helped a little. I figured I could bring the rest home and doctor it up for my husband but the guy who packed my soup threw most of it away. Ticked me off because it was expensive.Why anyone would eat here a second time is beyond me. A couple of miles down the road is Andy & Yus which I would give a 4.7 out of 5.
Really great restraunt with a delicious selection of foods. They were open late on Thanksgiving so they were lifesavers for our family and were definitely coming back. I would recommend the potstickers and the Kung Pao chicken. 😊
Been to this restaurant four or five times and I love the food and service. The boiling fish pot and spicy lamb are really good and so is the pepper beef.
Very rude waiters there.Arrived at 2 pm at national day and it is half empty. The lady at front asked us to wait. In the same time the owner asked us to follow the lady. So we followed her. She noticed and yelled to us to wait then assigned a very inconvenient table to us. We asked if we can just sit another table nearby. She replied with a temper that you can go out and wait if you dont like it.Our waiter is another surprise there. In 2 mins he asked 3 times if we are ready to order something. My father want to order a beer but he dont speak english so he point it on the menu. The waiter said he dont want to read it and we need to speak it to him. Besides, he drop everything loudly on our table and other tables he serving.The business owner probably try to run a DMV here instead of a restaurant. Or he doesn’t pay the salary wage to those poor guys.

The food was amazing but the service was horrible. Asked for water, 15 minutes later I get a brief eye contact, than she took some glasses of water on a tray and just handed them out to other tables even though they asked later. So I went up to the bar guy to ask for some water, he didnt make any eye contact with me looking at the glass, the floor, the walls, the ceiling, idk why he was so scared of me or if he just lacked self discipline and confidence. He pointed at the waitress, and I replied with I asked like 15 minutes ago. He then, not saying anything, went up to the front and got me some water, still no eye contact. I bet if I was Chinese I wouldve recieved better service.
We ordered food at 5:07. Was told it would be ready within 20 minutes. Arrived at restaurant at 5:20 and was told it would be another 25 minutes. At 6:10, food still wasnt ready. You cant have customers standing outside waiting for an hour.
The food was good, but they made it painfully obvious that if your not from the same continent youre not as welcome. We were barely served and ignored from the time we sat down. I placed or drink order twice and we never received our drinks until after our food came. Then we had to ask the next person that walked by for our check. We had lots of leftovers and had to ask for boxes after our Bill was finally brought. Needless to say that directly affected the tip. They actually ran out after us telling us that we didnt leave her enough money. We left exactly what was fair, almost nothing.
A Chinese friend told me this is the best Szechuan restaurant in the bay area. They were not lying. This place is amazing. Ive been here almost every month for the past year.If you want an amazing meal, you cant go wrong with the following dishes:- Kung Pao chicken- Boiled beef (spicy)- Eggplant with ground pork
Most of the dishes are authentic especially沸騰魚，口水雞。 兔丁(rabbit) is not a good dish and its very disappointing. The newly added avocado dish and spicy pigfeet are all great appetizers to start things off for a dinner.

One of the most authentic Sichuan (四川) restaurants in the Bay Area. The quality of the food is almost on par with 滋味成都，which is only available in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The one draw back is that this place does not serve live fish, but its spicy boiling fish (麻辣沸腾鱼) is still delicious.
Love eating here. We usually get mapo tofu, spicy crispy fish, and select a third dish based on visit to visit basis. So far they havnt dissapointed.
Good food. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the Dublin/Pleasanton area - of course, I’m not including any American Chinese restaurants in the competition. They specialize in Sichuan food which is famous for being spicy and flavorful.

Generally, this is a good chinese food restraurant. But definitly not a good Sichuan cuisine. They use chicken wings to make the spicy chicken. It was the first time I had chicken wings for spicy chicken. So unauthentic.

Hard to even focus on quality of food with such mediocre service. Expect long waits and a struggle to gain attention. Im familiar with the technique of waving down staff; here, you need to stand by the kiosk and catch them as theyre entering other peoples orders.
This place isnt real chinese it wants to be it desperately does but the taste is so westernized and over salted that it shames me that I even bothered to come. Food is subpar,service is slow and portions are meh on the smaller side for the price. Would not recommend this place. I make better chinese in my own kitchen at home. The only reason it got more than 1 star is because of the more modern and clean ambiance.

All of their food has MSG and oily. If you are health conscious, you would not want to go there. Service is only ok. Many servers cant speak English well.

Their szechuan dishes are a perfect level of spicy and numbing while allowing you to still taste the flavors!Food: Fuqifepian was very flavorful and came out very quick. The spicy boiling fish was the best I’ve had in the US (make sure to pick off the peppercorns and peppers when you eat the fish and noodles); it’s a perfect level of spice and flavor. Loved the eggplant with garlic sauce and the doumiao! Highly recommend these dishes.Service: very efficient. We had a dedicated server who was very on top of it and made sure we consistently had what we needed.Atmosphere: Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s nicely decorated on the inside and is very open.

2019-07-16 06:45:37We found this restaurant from its advertisement placed at the Livermore Outlet. We honestly didnt expect much from it, but the experience turned out to be very good. They do rush you a bit to order when you first sit down. We sat down for only 5 minutes before they can twice to check to see if we are ready to order. The food is great! I loved the two pepper stir fried aorta; their signature dish is the boiling fish. However, they used frozen fish fillet instead of fresh fish. We also ordered a pickled vegetables fish that came with fresh cat fish. The fresh fish tastes much better, if course. Remember to order their dessert jello. It can alleviate some of the spicy kick from the food.

2023-08-02 19:39:41If you are looking for an authentic Sichuan food experience in the Bay Area, this is the place to go. The service is great and the food is spicy and flavorful. However, please be warned, the food is pretty spicy and you can get diarrhea easily if you can’t handle the spice.

2023-10-06 02:00:52Its pretty run of the mill Chinese food. Ive had a few of their lunch specials like the Mongolian beef and beef/broccoli. It comes out super hot and freshly made, but the meat is very soft and spongy, like cheap Chinese fast foods that use a lot of tenderizer.

2021-07-27 19:11:015 stars for the delicious food. The Kung-Pao chicken is one of the best dishes in my bay area Kung-Pao chicken top list. My kids like Kung-Pao, so we tried it everywhere in the bay. I also recommend boiling fish. Dan-dan noodle is so-so, not recommend it.3 stars for the service. There is a young boy who should not be using loud voice to complain his boss or manager.
