We ordered dinner tonight and the food was excellent. They were very busy due to a large group, however, they was filling orders left and right. We will definitely order from them again. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!!!

Really good food and the prices are decent. Took them way too long to bring the food over but that were really busy. Limited parking and safe neighborhood.

I orderd for for a family dinner. One item we ordered was shrimp crispy noodles & I specifically said I wanted all shrimp and sauce to be in a separate container. My order was confirmed with my request. When the food came the crispy shrimp & sauce was in a to go box all together and there was no hint of any crispy noodles only sloppy soggy noodles and over sauced shrimp! This restaurant is very pricey and I’m out $ close to $20 bucks for this meal we couldn’t eat! Boo on them! We will not order here again!! Back to China Village in San Marin!

Went here for lunch, ordered the special. Photos of special and what I got were different. Instead of egg roll, they gave me two fried chips. 😵‍💫The chow mein had no veggies in it like in photo.Portion of main was generous. 😁Food was ok/goodService was challenging in that the servers barely spoke English. I had to find someone who was able to answer any questions so I could order.Nice, clean dining space.No plans to return

Worst service ever. We order our food right after we got seated and 40 minutes later we were told that the kitchen was very busy and that they missed our order. And can you believe that the waitress asked us what food we wanted to order again?After wasting our 40 min there., we decided not to order since we were already running out of our lunch work time. The waitress shamelessly charged us for a coke that they gave us while waiting for our food.Won’t ever be back to this restaurant again!!!😤

This place has the best potstickers I have had in a long time and the rest of the food was awsome too. The severice was vary good, never had an emty cup of watter and the food came very fast. Will definitely go back.

Ordered bean curd and veggies.. usually bean curd is amazing flavorful and some even reminds of of beef. Not this one. It was just tofu. Told waitress Im vegan, so for lunch you get soup.. which has eggs in them, so of course couldnt eat that. The wonton tasted like they used really old frying oil. I asked her when she walked by about bean curd, but she looked at me and just continued walking and didnt come back. Not a good experience, not good food

Good Chinese take out. Wish they give me more than one hot sauce when I asked for it considering I ordered two plates. Probably will be back if Im in town for an extended time again.The menu prices has gone up more than a dollar each. If prices are a concern, be sure to ask before ordering.

First time eating here after receiving a recommendation from a friend that the food was tasty. We were headed to the Chinese restaurant on Grant Avenue, so we changed our plans to try it out. Were very pleased with the quality of the food, HOWEVER, I am rating it a 2 because the service was the worst restaurant service ever!!!! They seated us with no menus, water, or tea (never offered tea at all, but gave to other guests) for 15 minutes. We asked 2 times, and then finally we were dropped menus on the table, and the server left. Did not say welcome to China Palace or anything. It took another 15 minutes before the server came back to take our order. The man was not friendly at all. Once the food arrived, we had to ask 2 times for the chow mein because it never came, and then finally, it showed up toward the end of our meal. My elderly mother asked for water 3 separate times from 3 different servers because they would not refill her or our water glasses from the first fill. It was apparently more important to set a table across the way than to give water to the guests who were thirsty from the food. My son also asked for water 2 times and then began to drink mine since they ignored him as well. Its too bad the service royally sucked because the food was super tasty. Its obvious they dont care about customer service or a wonderful dining experience, which will cost them customers returning to their establishment.If you want great customer service go to the Chinese restaurant on Grant Avenue where the food is still tasty and the servers are friendly and attentive to make sure your experience is wonderful so that you WILL come back. Its too bad this place was not like that because I and my extended family members would have put this as our top choice for Chinese food. We all agreed it was the worst service ever received. Also, I never even got the chance to ask if they use MSG in their food because the man seemed annoyed if you asked questions. It almost tasted like so, though. I should be granting them 1 star, but I gave 2 because I like the food a lot. Just cant bring myself back to be starved of water and kindness from the employees that work there. So my suggestion to all if you want a wonderful experience is to go eat somewhere else where you are appreciated as a customer.And oh yes, we had to flag someone down to let us leave because they knew we were done and finally took our plates, yet refused to bring the check for us to pay, as we waited patiently. My elderly step-dad made the comment,I bet we could get up and leave, and they STILL would not notice that we were gone since they hardly acknowledged our presence since we got here. That was rich coming from him because he would never ever evade a bill, and he was very upset with the way we were treated as customers.

Been to get takeout from here a few times over the last fewonths and the food is good, however, theres been a couple of issues.One time it was sitting waiting when I went to pick up and I was 5 mins early - it was cold when I got home.Tonight, I ordered pork chow mein but received pork fried rice which was tasty but very oily and just not what I ordered!

Not to go over the story how this all began...ended with bad disappointment. My order .sweet sour pork vegetable fried rice and appetizer mixOne large shrimp in the appetizer was horrible it smelled so fishy. It tasted awful, one of the pop sticks taste like it was touch with perfume, sweet-and-sour, pork with pineapple, tasted bland, not sweet sour. I have had other Chinese food from various of restaurant....this one failed, Over priced and no flavor to the foods. However...... BBQ pork that was with appetizer passed for the flavor and tenderness and vegetable fried rice was okay.

Ordered from uber, the flavor was great on everything but only issue was I ordered your Peking pork chop, maybe you should change the name to pork scraps. It was cut up in small pieces like sweet and sour pork, except every single piece had a big chunk of bone in it like you cooked the scraps left over from all the pork meals and decided to profit from what you should e thrown out. I wont be ordering again.

Very nice dining room with a Christmas tree all lit up. Food was very flavorful with generous servings. Their Wor Wonton soup is the best in town! We have enough for a second dinner for two.

Some how we ordered online, wanted to adjust the order they knew nothing of the order so reordered paid only to find out that the one in San Francisco charged use ( if you Google it there isnt one in San Francisco) also when I went online it said China Palace Novato so how did my order end up in the City. Still out Over $120. If I get my money back I will amend this

Came through and grabbed, vegetable fried rice, general chicken, and shrimp chow main everything tasted so fresh, super HUGE portions to share with a whole family, or gang coming through ! Amazing vibes in the inside, and dope customer service

Yes the food is AMAZING, But the customer service is TRASH!!! Went there today with a co worker to pick up THREE plates. Three plates where given, ok cool. We had ask the man in the front working if we can have THREE Sauces because we purchased THREE plates. The man gave us TWO and stated we had to play 1$ For another hot sauce. after reminding the man that we purchased THREE Plates, he ignored us completely and walked to the back of the restaurant. How rude and disrespectful of an employee to treat BUYING CUSTOMERS In that matter!!!!! Respect is way more important then the quality of the food, never giving my hard earned money to this place .

I normally like this place, yes they mess up the order now and again but that was ok. Tonight I took my soup and poured it into a bowl when I got home and theyre was a huge fly floating in the top, looked like it had been cooked in the broth. Nasty! Unfortunately this will be the last time we order from them.
