First time with family for take out. We had the orange chicken and kung po chicken lunch special. Pretty good value with fried won tons and soup. My son really liked the orange chicken l. I thought my kung po was ok. Great service. Would try again with other dishes.

We come here really often, and as always, the staff, waitresses, and waiters are always friendly, and provide a great service! They are kid-friendly and do a great job at accommodating for those with dietary restrictions without complaining - low sodium in our case. The food, like the restaurant itself, is extremely good (reccomended items below) - the best in the area! For the price at which the menu items are placed at, they offer really big and balanced portions (as youd want and expect a restaurant to) compared to those of other competitors!Truly 100% reccomended!!!

Chow Mein too salty. A different time basil chicken was too salty. Server Andy is a Jerk. He will never wait on us again. He reached over us to grab our money and we werent ready to pay. He was pushy and Rude! The food has gone downhill also.

Really good American egg fu young! Service was fast and very pleasant! Hot tea and 2nd pot promptly without asking. Attentive without hovering. Special treats for the kids.Nice place to bring the family.

So glad I decided to stop here for lunch. Even the to go order came with the soup and even a fried wanton. Everything was awesome and they were all very friendly. 5 stars all the way around. Only wish I lived closer so I could go back more often.

Our favorite place for take out. When we feel too tired from a long day or too busy to cook we go to China Paradise. They have our names listed by phone so they know what we like and more importantly they know our allergies. Fast delivery. We eat 2-3 times a month. Sizzling rice or egg drop soup are the best. Along with all rice dishes sweet and sour and our favorite lemon chicken.

Food is tasty 😋 & complimentary to the great chef, nice hospitality & respectful front staff BUT the carpet condition is filthy all around the restaurant particularly behind the counter. I have not dined in except have had many to go orders. Today was my last patronage at this restaurant until the owner get this restaurant under renovation.

We usually eat Chinese food in Oakland Chinatown. If we dont want to drive far, we eat at China Paradise. Its one of the 2 best Chinese restaurants in our neighborhood. Last night did not disappoint. The calamari was crispy and flavorful. The beef was tender and well seasoned. The portions were large. My son noted that one dish was twice the size we get at other restaurants. Delicious and filling!

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The chicken tasted as if it had been boiling in a pot on low for three years. The only flavor came from the curry sauce.

We went there reading reviews here and were pleasantly surprised that the food is good. Ordered steamed veggie potstickers. Good stuffing inside but cover was too thick. Ordered Sizzling prawns platter in black pepper sauce. Prawns were small to mid size just like we like, very fresh with no fishy smell and not rubbery. Very good. Ordered Singapore rice noodles. Very close to the real deal in Singapore. The background taste of the typical curry powder was a delight. Delicious.Even the wine serving was quite generous.Will go again. Food has a clean finish and no unwanted smells or after taste. Good value for the money they charge.

The Deluxe Mixed Vegetables with Prawns, Curry with Chicken, and Mongolian Beef all taste great and are very reasonable priced as lunch specials, given the large portion sizes and the soup of the day included (even with carry-out orders). My only minor complaint is that the free fried rice, in the lunch specials, is pretty boring.

Finally, my search for a good local Chinese restaurant is over.I find myself struggling with American Chinese food (I am from London). Typically the deep fried dishes have way too much puffy batter, and the meat to batter ratio is not way too low. Too often I find dishes too heavy, soggy and oily and leave me with a sick feeling after.China Paradise is not like this. They have nailed it. Really fresh food and they will cook it to your preference, low oil/sodium. Their deep fried dishes are actually crispy, and not too heavy with batter and have a good amount of meat. Dishes are always flavourful, always have lots of protein together with crispy veg but not oily.I’ve eaten take out from here four times in the last month and every time I’m impressed.Great job China Paradise.

Very good food here. Have eaten here a few times and the food is always good, consistent, and fresh. Service is also attentive and friendly. Price is a little high for lunch but understandable for the area. Favorite dish is the walnut shrimp as i cannot find it at most chinese restaurants. They do a good one here.

My family has been dining at China Paradise for well over 15 years. Love their takeout but I absolutely adore their lunch specials. For $9.95 a plate you get what would be a full dinner a side soup and some fried wontons. If you have the opportunity and can go to lunch during the weekday I highly recommend it.

Great food and SUPER friendly staff. Kid friendly too. They staff go goo goo when you have your little ones with them. The steamed fish with garlic and onions is excellent! If you have kids, theyll fix them up special chop sticks. And for desert they give them Fruit Rolls! Nice touch!

I ordered chicken salad. The chicken is fried and hot but it is tossed in the lettuce. Upon receiving it the lettuce is wilted and soggy. I only eat the chicken from it. I usually like my lettuce at least a little crisp. I was not happy with this style of chicken salad. My son ordered Orange chicken and it had a great orange taste tho. To each their own, right!

Our family has been coming here since the 90s when they first opened. They always deliver incredible food and service. Every time I visit Danville from Monterey now, I try and stop by and enjoy dinner with mom and to bring some soup home and enjoy later. Love this place. ❤️

Have been quite regular at this place, but today it was very pathetic racist behavior.We reached at 8:15pm. Were told that only to-go was possible as they had to close for maintenance early tonight. Fine.Just as we were stepping out they let a white couple who walked in after us, sit down for dinner. How racist and partial is this behavior!!Never going here again. Never.

That was awful. I ate here for lunch the other day after not having been around for a few years. I always remembered enjoying this place, but for whatever reason the food was terrible this time around. Went with my friend and he agreed. I got the Kung Pao chicken and it was not spicy at all, horrible flavor and textures. I wont be going back.

Their open hours say that they will close at 2:30pm, but they denied us service at 2:10pm because the kitchen closes at 2:15pm. So, if you want to be treated that bad, consider going to China Paradise.
