I can only comment on the dim sum. It was phenomenal. The servings were huge, hot, and tasty. We only ordered 4 things, and we couldnt finish the dim sum we ordered.. Take home was the option. The sweetened green tea was light, flavorful, and i couldnt get enough of it. (Free refills) There was a 15-20 minute wait, but it was worth it!!!! try it out!!

ELEGANT. High-end ambiance. Great for business meetings or reunion parties or romantic dinner.We wanted to order ALL, but we settled for our top favorites. It was NOT a disappointment! We cleaned our plates, and because our tummies are already bulging, we decided to doggy-bag the Xiao Long Bao (Dim sum). The desserts are out of this world.Our server is a breath of fresh air. She is energetic, always smiling, always checking on our needs, and she refilled our pot of hot tea without being asked.I am not surprised why theres so many folks waiting in the reception area. We are lucky to have arrived early before rush hour.Recommended Dishes: EVERYTHING (am very familiar with all of its dishes, being Asian).

Good place for authentic Chinese dishes. I had the tempora fried smelt fish, mongilan beef, orange chicken and green beans in garlic sauce. Good portions are served enough for me to take home the leftovers.

Love the quietness and chill vibe at this place. Very different than the usual dim sum place. The service was super and the food is delicious. Best of all it’s only 3 minutes away.

The place is nice and spacious. Food has authentic taste to them. Finally found a go to dim sum place on the east side.The service was fine. Looks like they are under staff.Unfortunately, on a Sunday early afternoon, they ran out off quite a few items.Maybe management can be on top of that.The hostile interaction between management and staff made the dinning experience a bit awkward.😐

We really like this place for high end Chinese food, we feel the quality is there but it has gotten more expensive every visit, we went on a Monday evening and there was hardly anyone there, we got our food pretty quickly, the down side for todays meal was the lo main, it was a bit too bland, we also ordered walnut shrimp and Kun Pao shrimp, they were as expected.I think you could give this restaurant a try, you may really like it.

The food is really good, and very reasonably priced. Weve been coming here since they opened and we love their food. The only complaint I have is every time we come they never have the HK-style crab anymore!!!!!!! Please bring it back it was our favorite!

Very good restaurant, very good executed dishes, special dishes! Friendly staff and the prices are good for the amount of food served. Hands down one of favorite restaurant these days. The food is outstanding. So many great things to choose from. Peking duck with bun and lobster are always a must.

China Republic is a dim sum and Chinese food restaurant a little bit off the highway, but totally worth the drive. They have an extremely large menu, the pricing is good, the portions are pretty big and the flavors are fantastic. Half a duck at $27 youd think would be bad duck, but it was super juicy with crispy skin. Cream cheese wonton, garlic green beans, cucumber salad, dumplings and hum bao were all really good. Id say the only disappointment was the chow fun noodles which we wouldnt get again, but definitely Italy would come here again in the future.

Craving good Chinese food in the IE, but didnt want to drive out to Rowland Heights. This place hits the spot for selection, quality and taste.Dim sum came out fresh-delicious!The pork chops are a bit boney, but still excellent, tender and tasty!I had to take off a star for the sticky table, dirty seat and floor area where we sat and the difficulty in getting a servers attention. Everyone was super nice, just they were also not really attentive. Then again there was a super loud, large and fun party in the large dining room towards the back of the restaurant that probably had most of the staff occupied.Happily looking forward to our next visit.
