I visit many Chinese restaurants since I spend a lot of time in the field. This one was great. Lunch special was 13.06 out the doors for a Mongolian chicken which was very tasty. Came with sweet and sour soup, white rice and crab rangoon. Food was excellent for the price. I only one plate so far so other plates could prove me wrong on the food but I doubt it.

This was my go to for take-out for years or should I say was my go to.I decided to bring my family China star to sit down inside restaurant. Because of the bad hospitality of the angry, rude middle added man, we walked out after being ignored for over 7 mins. There was ONLY 1 table with 3 customers. We got up from our table and walked out. The man said nothing to us, just watched us walk out. Hopefully this rude man at China Star will get some hospitality training & manors.Great part of the day was I found May Garden on Fulton Rd. It was like walking into my grandmas home♥️ great lunch specials come with soup. See pics from China Star🌟 food was amazing!!

Do not go here. I received fried prawns that were still gray on the inside and what appears to be a caterpillar in my chowmein. They definitely need to get their stuff together in regards to what goes on in their kitchen if they are going to be serving food to anybody. Even then, I cannot confidently order food from here and I feel that I have to warn anybody from going here. Your stomach and your health will thank you.

I love this place. The fried batter on their chicken dishes is near perfect consistency on each piece, and there is always a good portion of meat in their noodles. Plus, youre not forced to take rice with your entrees. They also tend to overestimate their delivery times, so you may get your order 10 or 15 minutes earlier than you expect.

First time ordering here. Ordered online, food was prepared for pickup quickly. Tried the sesame chicken, fried rice, and the rice noodles with chicken. All was tasty and well prepared. Fried rice was prepared with less soy sauce than my kids are used to, which wasnt a bad thing... just different. China Star has a dining room for those who want to dine in.

China Star is Amazing!!! The service for take out is Great, and they prepare my food without the Gluten!!! They use corn starch instead of flour so that l can enjoy Chinese food with my family. They even include gluten free soy sauce for me. I would Love to give them 10 🌟s!!! . I am Very Gluten-intolerant, and l have Never had a lroblem eating here. Thank you to the Amazing Owners!!!

Amazing staff and food! While I waited for my takeout order I was given a crab rangoon a side of sauce and a cup of water. I did not expect such exceptional service! The food was very tasty and we will definitely be going back again

Been coming here for a number of years, and they never cease to please!Brought my younger son this time, and he even commented on the great service.The food is always consistent, and the service is a delight!Great service is how you hold on to your clientele, and really God food is why they keep coming back.

This place is nasty AF I asked for some fresh chow mein and they gave me some chow mein that been sitting there for several hours, worst chow mein I’ve ever tried there just as bad as China chef in Cotati only difference is there restaurant more cleaner . I highly recommend to not come here at all there are way better Chinese food places out here then this place . Food dose not have good flavoring eathier. And to top it off they barley give enough food . I will never come here again !!!!!!!

5 for delivery speed and driver friendliness, 2 for food. The hot and sour soup was good - lots of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was mushy and bland, while the combo fried rice also had little flavor - I had to add soy sauce to it just to make it edible. Disappointing.

Wow, after seeing the good reviews I was excited, but I gotta say. Worst chinese food ive ever had. Bland. Almost had a rotten taste to it. The Mongolian beef was a tub full of onion with literally 4 little slices of beef mixed in. Plus it tasted horrible. Hot and sour soup also garbage. Will never be back.

The staff is always wonderful. Very efficient and always willing to accomodate. I come for take out and they always have a little appitizer for while you are waiting.I have always liked the food. Small portions can get me through a couple of meals. Really love coming here.The down side is the parking. The lot is a little ackward to get into and during peak hours, parking can be a bear.

We were regular customers for 15 years. We were out of the neighborhood for a while while our house was being rebuilt. We’ve gone back several times since we’ve been back and the food just hasn’t been as good. Service is still there. Found out tonight new owners took over.

My boyfriend and I picked up some China Star last night. The meal was sooooo delicious. We just moved to SR so we were looking for our go to places. This is definitely going to be it. Plus they are open during the quarantine! We got the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, and chicken chow mein. The sesame chicken was my absolute favorite I’ve ever had. We will Deff be back!!!

Ive been to restaurants called China Star before and usually its a bad sign, this restaurant is not part of that franchise. Place was nice and clean. Hostess was very nice and busy. Atmosphere was good. Food was good.

Ordered delivery. The food came in an ok time window but the wontons were burnt, the orange chicken was dry and hard, and the chow mein had absolutely no flavor at all. Will not be ordering from here again and wouldnt recommend.

Ordered dinner at 5:40 was told it would be delivered as soon as possible. At 7:40 I called and was told the driver was on their way. Food Never arived. Me and my wife got in a fight because we were starving. We had to go to bed without dinner. Will Never come here again.

Food was expensive and atrocious. Basically, both dinners were a mush just like the other reviewer wrote. Possibly the food is better in the restaurant, but as with their other bad review, the delivered food was inedible.
