Chinese Gourmet Express in Northridge

I stopped by Chinese Gourmet Express because I wanted a quick snack while waiting for my wife to get off work to have dinner. I was looking for something cheap but also good that was inside the mall. I walked pass this place and saw that they have egg rolls. The price was decent for 2 so I went and got that. The prices here for a dish is pretty reasonable but Im not sure about the quality of the food. I thought my egg rolls were okay and I thought the sweet & sour sauce would help it out but it did not. I saw a sign when I was paying that you do not get free refills here on your drink so thats disappointing. This isnt an amusement park but a food place in the mall food court.

Eaten here twice so far, good both times. Don’t order the spicy beef, wasn’t spicy at all. All they did was add bell peppers. Also Do not get the vegetable roll as an entree, all you get is one measly roll and it will be soggy sitting in the to go pack. Wish they served sweet and sour chicken. I always order chow mein and orange chicken. It’s decent food that hits the spot.

Typical Chinese fast food, no free refills on soda, service was fast and friendly.

Food was good after a couple of visits from work at Curacao at the mall. After, it gives you stomach aches most of the time. Orange chicken is good but it’s too chewy and way to sweet. It’s also very expensive. Worker discount isn’t that much.

Delicious gourmet food, great food, great location. I like their vinegar spice sauce on the beef broccoli, the noodles look perfectly cooked. The Orange chicken I want more, the taste is gourmet Chinese food, thank you. WMS#26.

Their orange chicken is crispier and tastier than pandas, my wife and I agree and share a 3 item. Always good!

Food here gave my family and I food poisoning. Do not recommend

I used to eat here a lot when i was a teenager (about 10 years ago) and i liked this place especially their chow mein. First time eating here again after 3 years and they still have the same taste. Id still recommend 👌

Food was disgusting, what’s important their policy forbids to try (understandable why) and return if you don’t like it!! Horrible service as well!
