Yum!!! The Deep fried Pot Stickers were crunchy and tasty. Choice of the Vinegar sauce or Sweet and Sour sauce. Hot and Sour soup with Pork was too Spicy for my wife but perfect for me. You can always ask for mild spicy. Salt and Pepper Fish was wonderful. The House Chow Mein Hong Kong Style with the crunchy noodles and gravy was delicious. Can’t wait to try the other items in their menu. Service was excellent by Jenny.

Had their moo goo gai pan, absolutely fantastic. Fresh vegetables, chicken cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and they got my order through the kitchen in a decent amount of time for how amazingly busy they were on a Thursday night. I have had their Wor Wonton Soup in the past, absolutely killer. Filling and full of flavor. If you want Chinese done right in Visalia, just go here.

Was an amazing experience ! They were extremely friendly and hospitable staff. You can recognize the history that this restaurant has with the customers and the boss and servers. Everyone gets along and everything is so peaceful and Chillax when you come here I feel like everything is good except for the salsa dip with the potstickers besides that everything I ate for my orange chicken, chow mein, hot and sour soup was all good

When my husband first pulled up to this place, I was kind of worried. It didnt look all that great. However, when we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. It wasnt fancy or updated at all, but it was clean and bright. The service was great. The server was very friendly and kept us refilled in our drinks. We got our food family style, nd it was more than enough food. I also ordered the Hot and Sour soup because it was my favorite. It was nice and spicy (I also added some Sweet and Sour sauce to it!). Overall, it was a great family place, and we will be back!

I have been coming here for years and was sad to hear that the restaurant was being sold to another family. Of course I had to come in and give it a try and compare the original Chinese Kitchen to the new Chinese Kitchen. Let me just say that the food was excellent. I ordered chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken and even got to try some of the salt and pepper fish. I did not regret ordering it. The food was fresh, had a lot of flavor, was very reasonable in pricing and was authentic. Best of all is that they give you good sized portions. Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The new owners Kit and Kan were super friendly and very hospitable. Also their staff is great. I got to meet Jeni one of the waitresses there, and she is super friendly and very attentive. I will definitely miss the old Chinese Kitchen, but the new Chinese Kitchen is definitely something unforgettable and I will surely return. I definitely recommend anybody and everybody to give it a try!

Wonderful food and wonderful people! My family and I have been regulars for about three years now. Definitely the best chow mein I have ever had - so much so that I cannot eat it anywhere else! The owners wife is so kind and sweet! Hands down the best Chinese food in Visalia!

I very much enjoyed dining here when Jim and Main owed it, and their pot stickers will forever be in my dreams. credit is due here as well for the new owners. great food, love all of the new improvements to the dining area and entrance. if u loved eating here before and are hesitant to come back, please do come check it out! its worth it

I have been hearing great things about this place for a while now, and today was my first time going in and actually having lunch here. So I asked for the orange chicken and take note that Im very picky with the way they make orange chicken. With that being said, this orange chicken blew me away it is absolutely delicious. If you havent been here you need to come and try this place youll love it. May I also add that they are very friendly and great customer service, Im definitely coming back soon and telling people about this place.

I miss the old place but this one is just as good. The staff is super friendly. The food is good. Just one thing though, I like the old walnut honey shrimp better. They used to drench it in that delicious sauce, which although was probably extremely unhealthy and overpowered the shrimp taste a little bit, it was just soooo delicious. Maybe next time I will just ask if I can get extra sauce on the shrimp. Still a very good place! Good job guys keep up the good work!

I never write reviews but I my husband and I have had our first date here 8 years ago and became regulars every two weeks the original owners saw all 3 of our children grow up over the years and it was something sepcial. We moved and didnt get to eat here for three months so when we made it back to find out that the restaurant sold we were a little skeptical but we decided to try it anyway. We always ordered the same thing for the last 8 years and surprise surprise the whole menu changed tripling in price as well! The food was awful and I was so sad that we will never eat here again.

If you want consistency as for your service & good food, Chinese Kitchen is definitely one to be on your list. they may not be the best tasting Chinese food in all offered dishes but they are high on the list. they have good prices for combo meals & individual plates & are excellent & fast serving. One thing they do have that is best in all of Visalia is their asparagus with shrimp & black bean sauce & their house chowmein. I love it when the owners mingle with the customers as they do here. Also of great importance to me is they at request will make your dishes with NO MSG which is so awesome. they are also very reasonably priced. If you have a large party in tow & want a good chinese restaurant to go to this is the place.

The husband and wife team makes sure their restaurant is a place you want to keep coming back to. The wife takes care of the restaurant seating area and taking customers order. The husband is in charge of the kitchen doing the main cooking and overseeing his helpers in their prep work.The service is always friendly and you are served with a smile. You get seated quickly and your food comes out fresh and hot.The food is made when you order it and the owner cook has passion for his cooking. He takes pride in making sure his food comes out fresh and tasty.A great place to have a meal.

Chinese Family restaurant offers the neighborhood tasty dishes. Reasonable prices, comfortable and clean. Its our favorite place to bring family and friends for good food. Customer service is very good. Provides Take out service. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm. Closed on Monday. Enjoy!

This was for several years the best Chinese food in town for many years, sadly the original owners sold 2 months ago and the food is not the same. it is now arguably the worst Chinese food in town. it has no flavor to it, unless you consider freezer burn a flavor.

There shanghai chow mein and honey walnut chicken is the best. Potstickers are delicious, cook perfectly everytime juicy and full of flavor. Everything is reasonably priced and the plates are full plate not small amounts in the center. Fresh vegetables and perfectly complimented with the sauces. I suggest this resturant to anyone that wants an amazing meal.
