Absolutely amazing food! Some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the honey & sesame chicken, beef moo shu, bok choy and mushrooms and the egg rolls. Every single dish was delicious and wonderfully prepared.The restaurant itself is beautiful and clean and the service! John Smith aka Mr.Chang gave us outstanding service, so friendly and kind. Wish I lived here we would come here all the time!

We were so excited to find Tammy was our waitress! We lived her and her family from the previous restaurant! The food was fabulous and of course the service was on par! We are definitely going back soon! It was a very special time celebrating my birthday 🎂

The Kung Pao Chicken is very ordinary family food, nothing special. It should be made with diced chicken, diced cucumber, instead of sliced chicken, sliced zucchini, and too much salt. It shows that the chefs knife skill was terrible and he was lazy, this dish was really not worth $20. Also their bowls and plates were not very clean and the rims of the glass cups have damages.

Fantastic food and service. The shrimp and chicken sweet and sour dishes were amazing. The fresh pineapple and steamed peppers were a nice add. The egg rolls were nicely done. Great service. Can’t wait to go back.

I met a friend for lunch here for the first time today and had excellent service. The waitress was so kind and attentive. The food came out hot and delicious. The photo shows a lunch special which includes everything you see on the plate plus a cup of egg drop soup. I really enjoyed this meal and will definitely be back again.

This restaurant has delicious food. The potstickers were our favorite. We also had the best server ever. He was so polite and helpful. Our food was brought out quickly and in order from soup, appetizers to meal. Our experience here was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

If youre looking for the best Chinese food in California, look no further than this franchise. Having lived up and down Californias Bay Area, Central Valley, and now Southern California, I can say with confidence that this is the best Chinese food Ive had. Though it may be a bit pricey, the food is worth every penny. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the staff are always friendly. What sets this location apart from the others is the exceptional service from our waitress, Peggy(she only work weekends) . She went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, and I cant speak highly enough of her. I highly recommend giving this location a try. Dont hesitate, just go - you wont be disappointed.

This place has a mellow atmosphere low lighting with piano music playing on speakers to me is relaxing. Wait staff are professional and very helpful. The food is very good. I got the spicy orange chicken and fried rice. My dad got szesuan garlic chicken. All the food tasted great. I will be coming back to eat here next time im on vacation in Cali. Highly recommend checking this place out.

What a great discovery. I asked my phone for Asian food and Chin’s popped up. I had the mapo tofu. This is one of my all time favorites and this place did it justice. The wait staff was so friendly and kinda jokey. I can’t recommend Chin’s enough.

Visiting from out of state and all we can wonder is why Chinese food in AZ isn’t this good?! We had had the Szechwan garlic (beef) spice level 4 and spicy honey & sesame (orange) chicken spice level 2. Both very, very good. We did wish it came with more white rice given it was 2 entrees (although shared with a young child also).

Ordered delivery from here earlier this week and although the order arrived quickly, it came too quickly. The total time from online ordering to doordash picking up and delivering it was 20 minutes tops. I dont believe our food was cooked to order. The food was ice cold and stale. I would not order from here again.

Not just the run of the mill Chinese restaurant. First off, the service is impeccable. You’re greeted within seconds of entering the threshold. The food was similar to what you’d expect and then some new winners. The pau hu was outstanding. . Mongolian beef changed my life. Everything cooked to order and all my modifications and requests were met. This place is a must if you feel like yummy, higher end Chinese food.

Havent been here in years as I live out of town now. Theyve moved around a bit but its the same old restaurant. I was a little worried when we walked in and there wasnt anyone inside but the food was fantastic. We had the hot and sour soup. Had lots of tofu in it but the flavor was excellent. Ordered teriyaki chicken skewers for appetizer and they were just fried chicken but still okay. Sizzling beef and scallops, honey walnut shrimp, and shrimp lol mein. Everything was really yummy.

Stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant the other night while driving home. The waitress working was so kind and maintained great customer service while juggling bunch of phone and delivery orders.Black Pepper steak - 10/10Honey walnut shrimp - this isnt something I usually prefer at a Chinese restaurant but the waitress recommended it since its the most popular 10/10Ma La Three Flavor - had shrimp, chicken, & beef. I love the numbing spice and got a 5 out of 5 spicy. Dont be hesitant to order 5. I would say its a pretty normal spice and Im not one to eat too spicy. 10/10Chow Mein - the noodles are fried and it comes with the sauce that you pour on top. I didnt expect the whole thing to be fried and its usually not for me. Overall still great flavor just wouldnt order again. 8/10Salt & pepper wings - amazing! Must get this when you come 10/10

Theyre back in the Village! Gorgeous decor and food is always on point! Recommend the Hot and Sour Soup during the winter. We also had the Szechwan Pork and Ma La Spicy Chicken. But weve eaten at the other locations and so much legit items on the menu.

Prompt take-out service, but I was expecting the food to be a lot better than it was. Spring rolls were partly mushy. Butterfly shrimp was over-fried & flavorless. Egg foo yung patty was doughy & they forgot to include the rice. For their prices, I was pretty disappointed & doubt I will go again.

So Happy we found Chins! This is an amazing AUTHENTIC Chinese gem. The restaurant boasts an amazing varied(Veggie and Meat options) menu, amazing specials, and super delicious food. Dinner portions are huge! You can also request dinner portions at lunch time for an extra cost. Well worth it.

My friends told me about this restaurant recently. We love asian food. Chins does not disappoint. The Pao Hu (braised pork) was out of this world amazing. I have never seen this at an asian restaurant before. It is a hidden gem on the menu. Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend the Pao Hu.

We always have loved the Encinitas Chins and were stoked to try out the new one in Carlsbad.We called ahead our order and picked up in 20 mins! The food was delicious and exactly hit the spot. Im a huge fan of their da ru noodle soup (perfect for this cold weather!), sesame chicken, and fried rice. The food and sauces were all well-balanced + super fresh.Cant wait to come back for dine-in because the decor is beautiful. I loved how modern everything looked with nostalgic touches to their other locations. You could tell a lot of love + heart went into everything here, from the food, service to decor.

We ordered take out from this location and had a little bit of an issue with an employee. We voiced the issue, and the owner called us immediately trying to mend and fix our complaints. Ordered online for two hour pickup. Received message that order was ready. When arrived order was not even put in yet along with what looked like dozens of other orders. They were completely unapologetic and just said it wasn’t their fault and it would be at least another hour. That left our family stranded on Christmas Eve. Shame on them.

For sure one of the best Chinese restaurants in San Diego, with delicious and flavorful dishes, classy and newly designed interior decor, and highly attentive staff delivering top notch customer service! I have gone to the other chins in the past and they were great! With Covid going on, it’s hard to find good Chinese food in San Diego county. This one has exceeded expectations. I got pao hu pork and potstickers. It was amazing and really satisfying. The red chili oil sauce they have is a MUST! I will be returning. CHINS IS BACK IN CARLSBAD

Kung pao chicken and garlic chicken looked exactly alike. Why? There were a couple different vegetables but taste was the same, with kung pao alittle hotter. Both dishes in dark brown sauce.Garlic chicken normally not dark brown.
