Choeng Wun BBQ Buffet Restaurant in Los Angeles

All you can eat meat, banchans, cold noodles. Better service than any other AYCE k bbq places. I can’t believe I forgot about this place. Came today after funeral for lunch and we were so touched by the extra fast and caring services.We especially loved the pork jowl, marinated short ribs (galbi) and beef tongue. We were surprised how fresh the meat selections were. I don’t know why I stopped coming to this place for this long. Last time I visited was probably 12 years ago.We liked finishing our meal with Nengmyeon and red bean porridge. Such an awesome place with excellent service-which is hard to come by these days. They marinaded the thinly sliced green onion and put special sauce and cilantro on the raw onion to go with our meat.I also asked for coffee on my way out and he poured me some from the carafe but it was actually quite good! Will be back next month with out of town guests!

My boyfriend’s family and I went on a Tuesday night. It was not super busy and we were seated right away. The staff was attentive and kind. They showed us the traditional Korean ways to grill and eat. Highly recommend this place, I will be coming back with more friends and family!

Been coming to this place for over 15 years. The meats are prime and the service is amazing. Dont be shy if you dont know how to prepare items, the owners are more than willing to help. They will give you all the help you need. The good is well worth the price. As someone who always gets their moneys worth, do not fill up on fried food or rice, wait for the meat. Theres no time limit so take your time, enjoy the experience cooking, talking, and eating. Nothing better than that. When you come down take a look at the price breakdown and choose what you want. They also have imported beer. Enjoy!!!

I came and i ate and i really loved it. All products are good and tasty.

This place is a hidden gem. The meats are delicious. They even showed us how to eat their wraps and they cut are meats for us. Very nice service. We drove 1hr 40mins just eat here. It was worth it. We all enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

This is a serve yourself Korean BBQ buffet. They have a large variety of meat to choose from and a cold salad area. They have several soups available and rice. Owner was very attentive and even showed us Korean traditional ways of how to eat some of the items. Conveniently located in downtown LA.

The worst experience ever!!! The owner tried to force me to leave the tip amount that he wanted. We didn’t feel great about the service so we left a $5 tip. The owner harassed me and my husband for not leaving the 12% tip that he said was required. Tips are according the service that you get. Since we arrived we where treated differently Don’t go there if you are not Asian.
