2024-03-09 20:04:07One of the best noodle spots in the east bay. Friendly and fast service and willing to accommodate preferences even of its not on the menu. Noodles are fresh and delicious and they offer varying levels of spice. Will definitely be back to try more dishes!

2024-03-14 02:02:47It tastes average. Please do not order extra spicy. (大辣) Not only is it spicier than you can imagine, its just spicy flavor, there is no savory. But 碗杂面 is good, better than 重庆小面。

2023-08-21 15:45:04The service was friendly and fast. They could accomodate non spicy option for my kid. These noodles are more like dry noodle (only has small soup at the bottom). They were authentic Chongqing dry noodle with its signature spicy soup. The portion was generous.- A1 Chongqing noodle pea ground pork noodles (non spicy): the thin noodle was cooked perfectly (still a bit firm & had chew). The ground pork was very flavorful & tasted like authentic Chongqing flavor (had lot of earthy spices). When I mixed the pea with the noodle, it gave creamy texture to the whole dish. If I ate this for myself, I would ordered the spicy version but my kid loved the non spicy one.- A6 Chongqing dry noodle with ground pork: simple and delicious authentic spicy dry noodle. The noodle was firm yet chewy. The spicy sauce had good spiciness (didn’t me sweat but my tongue definitely tasted the burn). The ground pork was flavorful and they gave generous portion of it.

2023-11-06 02:54:08Noodles are cooked well and have a nice chew. The beef was also tender and each piece had a good mixture of tendon and meat. The medium spice was fairly spicy to me. Portion was pretty large too. Very good overall.

2023-10-15 20:19:53Family run Chongqing noodle shop and BOY IS IT LEGIT. This family actually used to run Julie’s noodles just across the freeway but now are at this shop so all you OG’s know where to go now. Don’t let the stellar service fool you, this place has flavors that will ratatouille you back to that noodle shop with the plastic stools under your grandparents place. I had the chongqing chickpea noodle while my partner had the pork intestine noodle. Both were great though I enjoyed his intestine noodle broth a little too much. The staff even gave a small 冰粉 (ice jelly) as a side for us to have and cool our palettes. 10/10 I’m going back there now as I’m typing this.
