2023-06-19 05:31:46Food A+, service A++. This was our second time here. Great experience both times. The food was super delicious, and the service was amazingly friendly. Lydia was so friendly, she listens to you, understands and help you to have the best experience. Some dishes are really spicy, let them know if you do not like too spicy. My dishes were perfectly well balanced. I highly recommend this family friendly restaurant. We will definitely going there again.

2023-08-13 20:30:28I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was charming, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the impeccable service. They easily accommodated my dietary restrictions, ensuring I enjoyed a memorable meal. The quality of ingredients used is remarkable, and the menu offers a variety that caters to different tastes. Every dish was a burst of flavor, beautifully presented and made with fresh ingredients. I cant wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!

2023-10-20 17:15:16I came here under the recommendation of my favourite podcast (shoutout to Melody from Asian Boss Girl) and it was worth the hype! The Chongqing style noodles were nutty, flavourful and chewy and had just the right amount of spice. Service was friendly too. I’ll be back to try out more of their noodle and dumpling dishes!

2023-09-26 16:30:39I wandered in around 6 PM on a Sunday, finding ample seating and a calm atmosphere. But dont let the initial quiet fool you; within minutes, the place was packed to the brim. Clearly, I wasnt the only one eager for a quality meal.Streamlined Menu, Big FlavorsThe menu is refreshingly simple, spotlighting a few well-executed dishes. I opted for their most popular items: the Beef Noodle Soup and Spicy Wonton.Wonton: No Hype, Just FlavorThe wonton is an immediate standout. Whatever you do, dont skip the broth. It adds layers of flavor, turning each bite into something special.Beef Noodle Soup: More Than Meets the EyeThe soup doesnt hold back on portion sizes—loads of chewy noodles and tender beef make up each bowl. While the dish brings a bit of heat, its not overwhelmingly spicy. Just enough to get you a little flushed by meals end.Come Hungry or Bring a FriendYou get a lot of food here. Consider splitting dishes if youre not super hungry. But if youre like me, youll already be planning who to bring next time.In short, this place is worth the buzz. Ill be back soon, and Im bringing friends. If you havent tried it yet, youre missing out.

2023-07-25 02:40:49Fantastic foodie spot!! The noodles tastes homemade and had excellent texture and was cooked perfectly. The broth/soup is incredibly flavorful and you can vary the spiciness level!!! Me and my baby mama LOVE the unique slight numbing sensation that you get from the sichuan peppers and the AROMA is amazing!!!! The beef was also super tender and so flavorful that it had my baby mama still thinking about it, hours after we had already left lol.The staff are also really friendly and our food arrived quick, hot, and FRESH. We had a 2 month baby with us and the staff were very kind and understanding. I rarely ever tip 20% but they earned it, IMO.I knew the moment I walked thru the doors and smelled the delicious aroma of the noodle house, that these folks aint playing around about they noodles.10/10. Im coming back asap. This is REAL chinese food. Im STILL thinking about their noodles rn😋

2023-11-04 02:25:56You have to try this place! I overlooked it for months because the outside looked ordinary but the food is 🤤 amazing. I dont have to go to San Leandro for the nearest authentic childhood meal. Its here in Alameda. #5 noodles were perfectly spicy and had full peanut flavor. Noodles had the perfect chewiness. ❤️🥢

2023-07-24 20:02:20Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and sat outside. No wait for the table and service was very quick (the bill wasnt brought out as quickly, but it was easy to get once asked for). I had the #1 (aka Chong Qing Street Noodles) and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly spicy and fresh. A true gem of a restaurant. We ordered take-out about a month later and it wasnt as spectacular, but it was still very good. I will definitely be going back!Notes: this is a delayed review (first visit was on July 22 2022). I ordered vegetarian but the other party I ate with ordered meat and also loved their meal.

2022-09-03 15:40:54Newer restaurant in Alameda, small selection of noodles and sides. If you like tongue numbing dishes. This is the place. Sechuan peppercorns add to the dishes. Will probably come back.

2022-07-21 00:55:00New Restaurant, replaced Sushi Valley but offers INCREDIBLE food. There Signature dish the Chong Qing Street Noodles are great, the noodles were cooked just to Al Dente and most of the dishes they have are spicy but don’t make it too spicy. The balance of flavors and the variety they offer are great, they have something just like Wontons but call them Ravioli in a flavorful and spicy broth with peanuts. Highly Recommend this place to anyone looking for great noodles and a nice calm atmosphere, also offers outdoor dining too
