Food was not very fresh and made me ill. My friend did not get ill from the food which leads me to believe that something was full of sulfates as a preservative unfortunately. (Im allegergic). I feel bad leaving a poor review but I really did not enjoy my meal at all. I hope they can improve the issue and make customers happier in the future.
The food is cooked by a eoman eho knows her food. The crab pot appetizer is the best. I love their won ton soup. The inside of the place is very old. It is not pretty, it is not trendy, it is somewhat dark, and a little dingy. But the food is good and the people who run it are good people. And you get a fortune cookie. What could you not like? Oh, the vegetarian and vegan options look good, if you are into that kind of self torture.
Decent place and decent service but hands down best chinese food! Other places could never compare to how amazing their food is, hands down. Best flavors, best seasonings. I will never go anywhere else
Best Generals Chicken EVER! When my daughter comes to town she never leaves without picking some up for the drive home. Staff is friendly. No MSG. More meat than veggies in meat dishes. My favorite chinese around. Walnut shrimp is yummy too. Its always fresh & delicious.

Great food and good service. The guy who takes the orders can be a little hard to understand sometimes but he does an awesome job and has never gotten my order wrong. We usually order from them at least twice a month and now with covid trying to order more to support them.
I like this place. The food has always been good for me. Today was a soup day for me . I love their hot and sour soup. Lots of flavor! With a side of edamame, and an ice tea.
Chopsticks is AMAZING! They have amazing food, and whenever my dad comes to visit, we always stop by! There is one thing I must warn you about, though: Once you try the Wonton soup, you wont be able to stop! 😜😂

Please ignore the one negative review, that has hateful rhetoric, towards mentally challenged people. Whoever wrote that review is completely void of empathy. They didnt even try the food, which is AMAZING! Sucks for them, they missed out! 5 stars!
Its okay. There are two other Chinese food places just down the street, so youd think theyd at least try to compete with each other. (none of them are very good) I had the lunch special, which is about the same price as other places, but didnt come with soup like most do. Food was alright, but nothing special.
Great food! Ordered generals chicken extra spicy and it was fantastic. Definitely cooked to order. Wouldnt bother going anywhere else for Chinese takeout in Lakeport.

Try the won ton soup. A must when you may have had one too many glasses of wine the night before. The inside needs an update, but that certainly doesnt affect the tastiness of the food.

Everything made FRESH to order. Ive been to 2 others here in lake county, if you are in Lake Port GO HERE, if you are in clear lake oaks go to Happy Garden!

Their egg rolls are fantastic. My friends husband got the Mongolian beef and he said it was great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Chinese food.

2020-09-03 05:26:34Of all the chinese restaurants in Lakeport, this is my favorite. Every single time I try their food, Im delighted and totally satisfied. The rice or noodles is perfectly cooked, the spices combination is perfect, nothing overpowering, the spiciness level is excellent, and right from the smell, you know good food awaits to explode in your palate.

2019-07-03 21:32:57I placed a large order because of the reviews on here. After picking up my food I realized that two items were missing. I found the food to be the most bland and tasteless I have ever had. I didnt say anything but one of my friends mentioned that his food tasted off. At that point the others pointed out issues that I had tasted too. I wont be going there again. Ill drive farther and have much, much better food.

2017-09-10 20:18:07Fresh ingredients, good service! Plenty of seating. Each dish made to order. Never had an off dish, and Ive tried many. Egg Foo Young even passed muster with my asian friend. I dont eat at the other Chinese restaurants in town anymore.

2019-12-09 20:11:28Old place..needs remodeling..but tasty food..alittle too much on the onions on my Mongolian Beef..would have liked green onions to make the dish more Eye Appealing..but the taste was Spot on! The serving dishes are from the 70s or 80s! An Update would make this place a great family or office meal time Favorite!!

2021-05-15 16:18:12The food was average. The inside of the restaurant was filthy (thank goodness it was take out only) and the female owner was very rude. She acted like we were a nuisance for coming in. I would recommend going to one of the other chinese restaurants in town.
