Since I moved to the lower east Bay Area I haven’t found a pho that’s as good as this one. It’s always challenging finding a good pho place and I am happy to have found this one! The pho is deliciously tasty! Check them out!

Wheres the Meat!?!I frequented this location when I lived in the area and loved their pho, bun, bahn mi, spring rolls etc. The other day I was in the area and excited to return for lunch. To my surprise, it wasnt hearty but the cost sure was. $9.33 for a sandwich. My bahn mi was on stale daysss... old bread, hard, dry and the worst was Wheres the pork So DISAPPOINTED!!See for yourself...

It was the first time I ate at a restaurant since I ate delivery during the pandemic, but it was so disappointing. The pho noodles were the worst puffy pho Ive ever eaten. We couldnt eat any more, and the shrimp roll was also very oily, so it was difficult to eat. Im sorry, but I probably wont be visiting this place again.

Ive only ever been here for pho tai, maybe a spring roll on an odd dayGenerally speaking, pretty decent for a pho spot. Good aroma, subtle depth, and always a plus that the beef slices will come out with a bit of pink (if youre into the bite)Shop is clean and service is a out as youd expect from a pho spot, good enough. Just come in, sit at an empty table, and youre good to goSmall thing to note, the menu does not seem to have updated its prices. Large pho tai seems to show its $13 but the actual price is $14

My favorite phö place. It doesnt look like much on the inside, but dont be put off. Wide array of options on the menu. They even have calamari. Which I usually order. Also vietnamese sandwiches. Bbq plates. Good options. Try it.

I ate here a few times awhile ago. I come back to have the same pho today and I have to admit the quality is still the same. Its really hit the spot. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely come here to eat again if Im close by the area. BTW, Im from San jose.

My usual pho restaurant was closed so I had to find a backup. Searched for pho restaurants near me and found this place that I havent tried before. The pho broth was very tasty and not too salty. We thought the broth and brisket meat was tender and portion very good. We were a bit mixed on the rice noodles. The noodles for 2 of the orders were too soft and broke apart. The noodles lacked some elasticity for those that like their noodles chewy. Price was good for the portion we received. I placed my order online for pickup and received order acceptance confirmation. 10 minutes later I received notice that my order was ready for pickup. Excellent first experience and we will add this place on our list.

For $11 you get 2 large bowls of beef broth and 1 big beef sandwich 😋 it was enough for 2 girls. The best broth ever 😍 perfect place for students 😉🤓

Disappointing, flavorless, insubstantial grilled pork banh mi. Thinly sliced, gristly pork (only a single layer thick throughout the sandwich!), watery mayonnaise, and no peppers or pate (which was not specified on the pick-up menu but might be obvious on the dine-in menu). The banh mi baguette itself didnt seem freshly baked. It was too large but also too airy and insubstantial; kind of like a bad grocery store hoagie.If youre going here for bún or pho, its pretty good (thats why Im leaving 3 stars instead of 1). If youd like a traditional, substantial, or flavorful banh mi, youd be much better off at Rice and Spoon down the street.

The first time I came here with my wife was by mistake, we were looking for ihop but they had a huge line so we ended up here and I am so glad that we did . This place is amazing and the people who run it are great . Good fresh food, we love their Banh mi sandwich and chicken broth . Their Dalgona coffee is to die for . This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant . The folks who run it are happy to see you and they serve with love .

It was pretty good however, my noodles were still in the brick form so it took a while for it to get soft, of course I dont return food so I waited as it cooled down. But other than that food was good and taste of soup was good. Not much space for wheel chair, decor is nice, and decent prices

This is a review based on their BBH only.Ive been fiending for Bun Bo Hue. So much so that my cousin, whom I wanted to lunch with since he just spent a half day helping me learn how to bleed the brake fluid for my car, takes me to this place which he believes is a decent Pho restaurant and I, having never been here, decide to go for BBH before I even try the Pho. Thats... wrong. Sort of. House special should go first, but you gotta feed that craving!This will be a quick one.I ordered the BBH and my cousin did the same. Before the waitress walked away, I asked her to make it spicy. When the bowls were delivered, along with the standard condiments we dug in. It was too hot for my cousin who does not have the heat tolerance I had and he powers through, sweating it out like the trooper he is and I realize, the waitress may have spiced up both our bowls. For me, I could taste the heat but it was mild and had little effect on me outwardly.Now the soup. For BBH, it was on the weak side of flavor and character. Maybe a 2 or 3 out of 10 by my taste buds. In some ways, this may not be fair so I caution you about taking this as a complete blast to this place. I grew up on moms, like most of us do, and use that as a measuring stick. This one just didnt measure up. I even advised my cousin to add all the shrimp paste they provide on the side if he wants more kick, but that made little difference.It was not bad, but it was less than notable. I may have to come back and try the Pho some time as I understand it is supposed to be decent. The 2 star is just for the BBH, The rest of the menu could be better but I will revise as needed if I come back and try other things. Dont discount this place just because my rating is not better.And... I guess the review was not as fast as I thought it would be.

Pretty decent Vietnamese food in the area. The noodle and rice dishes are good and they portions are on the larger side not leaving you hungry. The pho soup taste good. Not too fatty and not too water down. The star anise doesnt take over the flavor some some restaurants. Overall a good place to eat. Only complaint is that it can be on the pricey side.

The taste of msg is very evident, big serving which is just right because of the price. Service is fast but not so friendly lady server. The smell of the table is foul smelling, and the utensils needs deeper cleaning. The lady from kitchen is nicer. The food is average.

The Pho taste good. But you should also try the Diced Beef with either rice or Garlic Noodle. Its one of my favorite. Plenty of parking, the restaurant is small. Staffs are friendly.

Never judge Asian food by the decor. The pho is hearty and delicious. Their Bhan Mi is balanced, light and flavorful - while being a belly full. And the broth is so good that I look forward to burps just so I can taste it again.

Came here for the 1st time about 3 weeks ago and have been coming back regularly ever since. Great pho from what my boys tell me and they are picky when it comes to pho. I usually get some protien over rice, and I must, it was very authentic Vietnamese. The grilled chicken I got was a bit oily, but the broken jasmine rice was great. Definitely making it one of our favorite spots.Pros: Free parking, clean and bright restaurant, consistent on flavor and taste, friendly servers - seems like all family, quick and attentive, and you can use your credit cardsCons: Coffee is pre-made but still very good, (Im old school and love the fresh drip) It would be nice if they put a bit of lemon in the water they serve, when you first get seated, it could be improved.Overall, a great little gem, and see you soon.

Our favorite place to go to. We drive from Palo Alto at least twice a month to get this. Broth is savory, hints of star anise and all spice, with a nice sweet richness. Best spot north of South San Jose.

For some reason every time I come to this place(at this point it will be by force through friends) I ask for a soup with no cilantro. For some reason the cooking staff think that a little cilantro is the same as no cilantro and every time I am left with a literal bad taste in my mouth . And it tastes like Dawn dish detergent. A single leaf of cilantro we can taste . Can you please not lie about the no cilantro option ?

Awesome customer service, friendly store manager. This is rare among Asian restaurants.I come here for the Vietnamese udon noodle, with pig feet. It’s a delicacy.
