Very filipino, friendly and attentive staff. Majority of the Food is like what is back in the Philippines. Though some of those in the menu is different. Parking was also plenty and disabled parking is available nesr the door

My wife is Filipina and loves this place. She gets the round thingamajigs with meat in the middle. Thats about all I know but the wife likes to stop by when we go to the Filipino market right next door.

Whenever I visit this place, it always reminds me why I dont come here frequently. Theres consistently some sort of problem. During my last visit, the employees prioritized serving my food last, even behind customers who arrived after me. It seemed like they were giving preference to others who ordered the same items, without considering who placed their orders first.Despite being a big fan of their siopao and taho, the frustration and irritation I experience here make it not worth the hassle.

Food was great until we found this strand of hair stuck in the chicken that we ordered. Chef’s menu lmao, need more inspection and employees need to be replaced not gonna lie. This one employee is being called by a customer but ignores, he was also cleaning while people are eating, like come on mga pinoy tayo alam natin yan. Hay nako di na kami babalik, we are not going back.

We ordered Halo Halo… there is nothing to Halo but ice cream, ice and milk. There is very little ingredients in it. Will not recommend this to others. Terrible

I ordered the ChickenBowl & very little portions of the chicken, with a lot more rice. I shouldve went to Yoshinoya, same price but better portions. Very disappointed not coming back here.

I bought a Lauriat combo here and whole waiting, I watched the employees preparing food for the customer. One of the employee, shocked me because she touched my fried chicken with her bare head, no gloves. I asked if that was mine and it was my food shes giving. I was shocked and told her to change d it because I saw her touched my fried chicken. I cant believe she do that and hopefully I am not the only one. I give them 1 star.😡

This place reminds me of my relatives in the Philippines. It was them that introduced me to Chow King many years ago on my trip to the Philippines. The food is average, nothing memorable. The service here is also below average.

Delicious food. Always good experience. The asado siopao is delicious.Only problem Ive had is that the beef noodles were very overcooked, I couldnt eat them. Calamansi tea is a little tart at rhe end but its soooo good. Other than that, I always enjoy eating here.

I bought a dozen siopao. I was so excited to share these to my friends here in the East Coast but sadly they only gave me 11 pieces. I was very trusting. I thought their crew are efficient and reliable, hindi pala. 😞

Their Restroom according to their Manager has been saying that the toilet is clogged, a restaurant without letting customers use their toilet is absurd. This has been more than a Month ago. It is ridiculous to tell a customer to go to another business to use the toilet. I am a regular customer but because of this? I stopped doing business with Chowking of Carson, CA.

This is a fusion of Philippines/Chinese style food. Its fairly descent and reasonably priced for its items.I almost always go for the Beef noodles & Won Ton combo that comes with Siu Mai.They also have fried chicken and Siaopao as well. The newest addition is their beef (or chicken) with mushroom rice bowl, which is pretty good.I encourage you to check it out yourself.

The halo-halo should have a transparent container so customers can view the amount of ingredients as opposed to the ice content.There was not enough ingredients. Pls do not be stingy. Ingredients in the halo halo are cheap.

Been coming to this place since they opened. Loved their menu and food. Up until they closed the place for a week last year to do some renovating, the menu changed, the food definitely got so bland that its not worth my $.I had the combo wonton noodle soup and siopao. The ingredients were all there. Except the flavor was missing!! Please bring back the FLAVOR and the fried rice breakfast menu, then Ill consider coming back.

Their chicken are bad. Very greasy and way crunchy.And one time i got their garlic chicken, and when i got it, it was black.their rice savers has way too much rice and only little meat.the only thing i like here are the thai tea.

We ordered siopao bola-bola in Carson, CA and when we came home in San Diego, we found out the lady (no upper teeth) put one asado siopao. Why she did that? She did not even tell us that she put one asado. She should tell us if they run out.

They dont have whats on the online menu. I ended up ordering Crunchy chicken Lauriat which cost like $6.49 + tax. I was going to order the Lauriat #6 for 8 people but was told that what you see on the menu here is what they have. Ordered 4 crunchy chicken Lauriat instead. Waited for 30 minutes instead of the 15 minutes I was told.Chicken were not crunchy, very ordinary tasting. Pancit canton was not even better than any Ive tasted. Price is a little high for what you get. This will be my first and last. Very disappointed.

The cashier are not even familiar with their advertising posters on the wall. i saw a delicious soup dish that was on the wall and i was pointing at it, and she was like, im not sure what youre looking at but i recommend this... no i dont want your recommendation, i asked what that dish on the wall and i wanna order that! and here im thinking like, why dont u bend over and look at it? then, i ordered 1 siopao and it took forever to get to me. im not ordering here again, but mom insisted bec. she likes their soup bowls. ill just go back to jollibee.

We love to eat here especially the tapa or longonisa fried rice, any time they offer it, One last thing I left my iphone 6s in the bathroom, an elderly brought it back to the front cashier, luckily after 5 minutes before I left I was able to retrieve it, now I have to thank the honest staff and the elderly

How many times have I bought siomai the frozen 20 pcs. When it came home, was there no chili paste?Yesterday, June 01, 2021, I ordered an order of 4 pcs of cooked siomai and an order of 20 pcs of frozen. When I got home, I only put 1 chili paste.I didnt complain because I thought the cashier might give it to me. In the same case, nothing was given. I dont want to go back just for the chili paste. I just hope its complete when its served.I love chowking. But anyway, I hope its a complete serving for the name of our job. It would be better if there were no negative comments.24 pcs of siomai, thats all the chili paste.
