Authentic Mexican food at a low cost. Hole in the wall
Warm and stuffy in the dining room, and it wasn’t cheap for me $24 bucks for two eggs over easy, piece of meat, beans. pico de gallo, grilled jalapeño, and spoonful of guacamole. No drink. They didn’t have papas rancheras actually no papas at all.Got my food it was good 👍

First time eating here. We were made to feel very welcome and actually gave me a sample of the food to taste before ordering because I was undecided on what to order. Very small place but the food was delicious. It tasted like moms food, if mom was a very good cook. People are very friendly and it felt like family. I noticed that a lot of orders were to go, maybe because of the space. I cant wait to back and try the birria. Definitely worth a trip. Yum
Decided to give this spot a shot...you know what they say, hole in the wall places have the best food, but wait!! I couldnt even get to that point, as we were in line to order, I observed how dirty the place was. Its like they havent cleaned anything since opening the doors for business. I turned and ran out of that spot!! My health is worth more than taking a chance getting sick. Sorry Chuy!

Outstanding service with the best Mexican Food anywhere. I was completely amazed at how good everything was out of this small hole in the wall establishment. They should charge more for their food - definitely worth it. Not very big inside so take out is a big part of their business but I enjoyed sitting inside and enjoying our meal. I had the Enchilada and Chile Relleno plate and everything on it was delicious!!! Great rice and beans (these are usually suspect at most places) and they served the meal with something like a salad that included lettuce, avocado, lime juice, carrots and whatever else that made this the perfect little snack with the meal. Yes, I was completely impressed.
I come here a lot, best burritos in town, cant say much about the rest of the food since Ive never had it. Good service, nice people, family ran business, always looking out for you. I love my burritos, Ive tried many other places around here, upland and Ontario and to me these are the best.
Huevos Rancheros order with the Chile relleno sauce is a bomb. Delicious
This place sells some of the best menudo Ive had besides my moms. The tortillas are handmade and the broth is delicious. Try the atole de guayaba here too if you get the chance. Delicious! 🤤😋
Great place!!!! Three thumbs up. Little hole in the wall type of restaurant but the food is great!! I will definitely recommend this place. As well I’m definitely becoming a regular customer. Food is very authentic. Fresh hand made tortilla, great tasting food, fresh made coffee, fresh made tea, and great tasting beverages. Overall great customer service!!!

First time here. The wait was pretty long on Friday evening. Service was a bit distracting in the restaurant alot going on for the cashier on this day. The order was correct. I ordered in the restaurant to go. Had a Torta de Asada to go combo includes a small side of fries and a fountain drink. Torta was alright beans meat tomato lettuce and jalapeno. Had the red salsa very scipcy.
I would say 4 out 5 & the pizole was ok, nothing special about the red enchiladas, & the guacamole was good.
I had the street tacos, just like I get in Mexico. Very friendly. Cant wait to go back and try something different.
This place is a solid 3 almost 4 stars. The asada has a good flavor but I was let down by the al pastor which seemed a little more bland. I got the pastor mulita which comes with chopped up pineapple. The pineapple had the strongest flavor. Overall this place was pretty good and Id give it another chance and try their other items.
I love Chuys if you havent tried there Mexican food your missing out. I love there corn tamales, they also make meat tamales only to order by the dozen. Great little place got to try it!
As recommended by the waiter, I tried the costillitas en chile rojo with beans, rice and fresh handmade tortillas. It was SO GOOD! Very authentic. Just like my tias cook back in Mexico.Everyone was so polite here. Even the customers.
1st time here...I called and ordered ahead. 15 tacos. They have a great taco tuesdau deal! The asada has a great flavor to it! The tacos had alot of meat! I will be coming back here definetly! They were very nice!
I had the birria with handmade tortillas. It was so delicious. Seasoned to perfection. Also their champurrado is really good.Cant wait to go back. They are also very friendly.
First time here..Ordered the chili relleno/enchiladas plate. Food was really good and filling. Chips were salted just right and the salsa not to spicy like I like it. We really have to come back and try the Menudo and Pozole....

This place is good for a small restaurant. It has great food, service, and presentation. The reason that service might be what you call bad is due to COVID-19 cause of that the service may be SLOW. Apart from that this deserves a 5 star rating.
Green enchiladas were ok...
Simple but very very good. I had the flautas platillo (rice & beans), the wife had an al pastor burrito and my son a cheese quesadilla also, the salsas were good too......everything was devoured! I will be returning!

Mom and pop with solid food. Ive tried the corn tamale, Pozole and carne asada burrito. The burrito was one the best I can remember. Everything else was good. There are no menus, only a blackboard. Print some menus please as my mom is disabled and cant stand to read the menu. There is a serve yourself coffee station with only powdered creamer.
Went to this place for the first time and wow its a small intimate type place with great authentic flavor . had chiliquiles amazing with rice n beans and eggs next time ill try the dinner. Very satisfied
I tried the pozole based on the reviews. Regrettably I could only stomach a couple of spoon fulls I Did not complain just simply paid and left . The people were very friendly greeted as soon as we walked in I was hoping to find a new restaurant to add to my favorites unfortunately I will not be back
THE best authentic Mexican food in the area if youre looking for the real deal. Great service, family owned, and so dang tasty. The chile relleno is perfect, handmade corn tortillas are delicious, the salsa is amazing, the guacamole is made fresh, the asada burrito hit the spot. Go there now and tell Chuy that Angel said hello. They are from Michoacan and will make dishes in that style if asked. Grilled enchiladas....YES!
They forget to give your whole order, have to always double check. Waited 15 min for them to give me a consome, which they just have to pour on a cup. Save your time.

This is some really good mexican food. Their tortas are delicious. The bread it is made on is homemade I believe. Great little place to stop by. Will definitely be coming back.
Went to Chuys on friday 2/21/20 with my female bff nd we both had the pozole nd it was delicious the salsa was delicious with the chips nd the pozole was so yummy my bff sheis a foody nd she liked it so did I so we cant wait to go back to try more the service was excellent

2022-07-30 01:46:48Amazing food!!!Chuy’s was a randomized pick for local Mexican food while visiting Pitzer College.The food was perfection.Clearly home made everything mixed with very friendly staff (owner?) and clientele.As we sat and ate multiple families, tradesmen, and locals started piling in. Everyone knew each other and it was an enjoyable people watching moment.Highly-Highly recommended.We started with 3 Chorizo tacos, and a platter of Asada, Pollo and Al Pastor tacos. Then, we were still a little hungry and decided to try Barilla tacos and they were sooo good.They also had Mexican coke and Squirt for wash it all down.I would highly recommend you stop and grab a bite at Chuy’s.

2023-04-23 20:02:48After I read that positive reviews I went there and that was totally opposite I ordered a birria taco plate and they have advertised that in the window taco plate with soda but when I ordered they told me that soda it’s not included so that advertising it’s fake or fraud on top of that I ordered birria tacos and not come with birria juice to dipping it in the taco I asked them for that and they told me that is extra charge so exhausted and the portion of rice and beans are to small food temperature very cold and the taste not flavor so I would never recommend this place to no body all those reviews are fake .

2022-03-06 18:26:38The food is amazing, a small family owned restaurant where you can expect real home taste, good service but expect to wait for your food as it is prepared from scratch, definitely not a fast food place but you wont regret the wait.Do not leave without trying their Champurrado, one of the best I tried.Get there early as the parking lot is small and it gets busy.
