We purchased tickets online. When we arrived we purchased $40 in snacks headed to the theatre. Then someone was in our seats. We calmly found new ones when someine asked for the seats we were sitting in we got up. I went directly to the hall for an attendants help. Finally I found one she was rude and sent me to customer service. after waiting a while a young girl came over asked my husband and I to take 2 seats far apart from each other because they had resold one of our original seats. I declined the offer asked for refund. My requset was accepted but I did not have anywhere to enjoy my snacks and beer. Very disappointing. ☹️
Best day to go for a movie here is Tuesday. Tuesday the discounts on tickets are amazing! Must try! D Box is the best experience for a movie but always super busy. A regular theater is good as well because they all have luxury recliners. They sell Wine by small bottles or glass depends on preference they have about 6 types of beer as well as all the other snacks which are overpriced as all the movie theaters lol! Enjoy your visit 🙌🏻
Havent been here since before the pandemic. These lounge chairs are great! Nice seats but dont really have a place to put food. No tables here but there is a cup holder.
I love the cleanliness of the theater and great screen size and luxury chairs. We came here to watch The Flash in DBox. We paid extra for the moving seats. They lost 2 stars because one of the dbox chairs didnt work. I felt bad the whole time that my friends chair wasnt moving at all. They did give us a pass for 1 free ticket in the future. We will come back again
Oppenheimer IMAX 70mm version tickets for I purchased was huge disappointment, played here in 2.2 : 1 aspect ratio in panoramic theater instead of 4:3 on square IMAX screen as Nolan intended. Picture quality was terrible but they dont know any better. The dont even seem to recognize Standard vs. IMAX vs 70mm mocking people who care. Go elsewhere.
Very good theater and there a parking structure next door that has room and its free. Makes everything easy and make life simple. The only thing that was off was many century movies offer free refill after buying a big bucket of popcorn. This time they said they discontinued it. When others have it. Weird and no answer was giving. Overall good place.
As a theater, many screens. Could use a little spruce up, more genuine food selections for the price. The free parking nearby makes it worth the trip.
The seats in the IMAX theater look brand new. The best screen angle for me was at row F. Centerline is approximately seat 12. Both the sound and the screen were clear. The seats dont recline, but the backs do move back a few degrees. The armrests are wide, have cup holders and can be lifted out of the way.
I love the free covered parking garage. The air hockey table in the arcade room does not work properly, please get that fixed.
I didnt take pictures. But we went and saw Guardians last Friday night. The theater was clean. And the snacks are always good. Not far from the Daly City BART station. We took Uber tho.
Very good experience, and my daughter, and granddaughters really enjoyed the show and the snack area $$, but worth the price of admission. Will be back again. Check it out.

Parking in the public lot is convenient and free. The luxury lounge recliners are comfortable. Enjoy going there for the movies! The club benefits are good and worth the membership. Clean the restrooms more often and then they could earn 5 stars.
Popcorn is way to salty, my mums tongue was burnt because of two peices of pocorn, one of the cashiers gave us the dirty eye.
They have reclining seats. Handicap seating too. The place is huge. Escalators and elevators for the multiple floors. Be prepared for 20-25 minutes of ads before the movie actually begins though. Good sound systems
Wonderful experience watching Across The Spider-Verse. Sound was crisp and clear. Picture was vibrant and beautiful. Food is overpriced. Eat before going.
Watching a movie is supposed to be relaxing the most stressed you can get out of a movie is if its too crowded or the parking sucks, not here.Bart is just 10 minutes walk away and if youre driving they have a parking lot that is about four floors up and best of all, FREE !!!!!!These days you can buy your tickets at Costco and go anytime day or night for a $ame price using Costco tickets.Most of the ticket booth windows are open to help you get in and watch the movie luv it.
Convenient and easy parking with some dining choices nearby.They have all the options like 3d and shaking seats.
Great food, nice recliners seat and IMAX has more sound of surround sound effects for sound freedom.
Went for a movie, the sound quality is great but it was too loud for me. Next time, I will carry some earplugs. Overall it was a good experience.
Came here to see the most recent Ant man and Wasp in the Imax theater and the theater wasnt thoroughly clean... There was popcorn wedged in between the seats and some of the seats were sunken in and the the 3D glasses were recycled and were badly cleaned had to go exchange for a another pair.
The staff behind the counter were professional, spoke evenly to each customer and their training reminded me of In-N-Out, a business with a similar quality training method.Hence it was a good standard American film experience just like the latter is a good standard burger spot.Technology is in balance or it is not a business that needs automation when the people are fair to the actual population
There is no bike parking for those who are ebike/bike commuters nor do they allow bikes indoors when I have asked. They have a huge amount of space to put at least a few bike racks. Daly City is improving their road safety by prioritizing bicycles and pedestrians, and this theater should accommodate this change!
The seats were the most comfortable recliners I have ever sat it!Its a shame that the concession stand on the top level is non-functional. Makes me wonder if they will convert it into more usable space?
Surprisingly, this theater exceeded expectations. Relatively easy walk from the BART station. Closed captioning equipment worked perfectly. They use the type of CC equipment where you even get to preserve your cup holder. The staff I interacted with seemed friendly and competent.

Nice seats. I came here on a week day during the day. It was nice and empty. They have an ok selection of food. The seats are very comfortable and the parking garage is free.
Looks like they just got new recliners. I dont love how the headrest forced my head forward, that sucked, but there was a nice, deep recline and the footrest came up higher than the ones at the San Mateo theatre.I appreciate that this place has its own garage, parking is super easy.

Putting the movie aside, the whole experience of the place was bad.Its seems that they dont have any cleaning crew over there because every spot was dirty. From the entrance with paper tickets and popcorn spreded all around to the 2nd and 3rd floor which was sticky from drinks and food. The line for popcorn (and tickets) was endless and clearly they were under staffed.Two escalators didnt work and and the stairs are a bit narrow (to the point my father in law almost fell down).

Chill atmosphere, not as crowded as any theater in San Francisco and the lates cost about as much as a SF average anyhow. Good ticket prices, not a lot to do around the area though, but definitely a good place for late night movie shows.
This theatre has a massive screen and the seats recline as well, Its comfy and Youre able to adjust them to how you like them. I really love this theatre because the food is very good and the hot dogs are always fresh. I reccomend coming here
Always loved this place. It was very clean and the atmosphere was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. I even like that you can prepay your snacks on Cinemark and theyll have it ready in a big bag to grab and go. My hubby prefers to order onsite because he wants to make sure he gets a lot of layered butter on his popcorn 🍿 lol
TLDR: 5 stars for loungers in regular theaters. 3 stars for the cramped leg space for IMAX 3D theatersFree Parking Garage nearby. Lounger chairs for standard movies and I highly recommend them. Lots of leg space however, IMAX 3D theater 10 chairs are okay. They recline maybe a few inches but that’s it. The leg spacing is more like economy airplane without the leg space in front of you. Don’t recommend this IMAX seating for anyone taller than 5’7” as it will be cramped. I was shifting my leggings and trying to stretch them during Avatar 2

Went late Thursday right after work. The movie we wanted to see was only playing here and at the Metreon. We should have gone to the Metreon.There is a new policy and its a bag policy. And apparently states that any bag bigger than a mini backpack or a clutch isnt allowed.As i said, we came from work. Got off around 8, grabbed something to eat and hopped on bart from the financial district to Daly City Bart where we parked our car. We decided to see IP Man 4 to conclude our impromptu date night as it isnt the kind of movie we can see with the kids. They didnt let us in. We bought tickets in advance and they didnt let us in. And we had our laptops! I even asked what we were supposed to do with our computers and they said to carry the laptops in our arms, but leave the bags in the car. Then i asked if they would reimburse us for having a broken window and the other contents of our bags and the bags themselves if the car was broken into, (There isnt any security in the lot, we have an SUV, so no trunk that people cant see into. His bag is a Timbuk2 backpack and mine is a Michael Kors bag. The car would have gotten broken into.) And the person at the door said no!I bought the tickets on fandango, which doesnt have Cinemarks policy listed. I was told the policy is on the Cinemark website. I checked and under the information and policies, two are shown: costume and refund. There is no separate bag policy (see screen shot for reference). I did find mention (1 sentence) of it buried in the costume policy. Please tell me, who reads movie theater policies? Especially, who reads one about costumes to see if there is a bag restriction.The movies are not a game, concert, etc. Or a venue that i expect to have my bag size checked. I dont know if they are worried about people recording or what (which you could with a laptop, duh). The courteous thing would have been to let us through and tell us about next time. Not turn us away, especially when i said we just got off of work. And asked what to do with our laptops. If theyre concerned about recording, then they shouldnt want the laptops. It wouldnt be unheard of to offer a place to check the bag either.Needless to say, we wont be going back to the Daly City theater and Im done with Cinemark too.

There short staffed here . I got a pizza popcorn water and a strawberry daiquiri. I pizza was under cooked my popcorn was burnt and the but the daiquiri was good . The place is clean the seats are so comfy there was not a lot of ppl there when I went to see nope but I would recommend if you live in there area to eat before you go or wait after there is a lot of food places near by

Good location with lots of parking. We used this location for my daughters birthday and the auditorium was a perfect size to enjoy a private screening.

This used to be a very average movie theater but it has greatly improved after re-opening in 2021. They upgraded all their seats to recliners (except IMAX) and it feels cleaner than before. I love that they sell Starbucks inside.
This theater is huge. I enjoy coming to this theater because there is plenty of parking in two parking garages that are free. I was able to purchase tickets online which also made things easy for checking in. I just scanned my barcode and no tickets needed to be printed which is great for the environment. The line for the snack bar can be a little chaotic, but it is what it is. I was a little disappointed to hear that there are no more refills available for the large popcorn. I went to watch a film at their IMAX screen which was great. The theater was clean, but they also offered wipes at the entrance of the theater if you wanted to do an extra wipe of your seat. The bathroom in the facility was also well maintained. I was very happy with my experience here. Its also surrounded by other eateries that you can enjoy before or after a movie.

They let my partner and I in with several bags of luggage so we could watch a movie while we waited for our transportation to arrive. We really appreciated them allowing us to do that. The theater was clean, and the seats are SO comfortable. Ive never been in seats that reclined back that far. This is a great theater!

I go to this theater a lot and it’s always pretty clean and nice. The staff is nice as well. They revamped the seating and moviegoer experience with IMAX and reclining and interactive (D-BOX) seating.Although recently there’s been limited choices in concession items. No nachos and you have to order things like pizza and chicken tenders. Only hotdogs are free to grab from the heated lamp area.I understand the scaling back of certain items due to COVID but I can’t understand why they got rid of the prepacked nachos. They’re sealed in a bag and the cheese is in a sealed container! I don’t get it. Also, they seemed to have changed the butter they use on the popcorn. It doesn’t taste the same. That’s my only issue with this Century Theatre. Everything else is fine.

Comfortable upgraded luxury seats. D-Box was a nice upgrade the service was horrible and made the experience one that I would not want to repeat because of it. From the rudeness of the concession staff member when I asked where do I place my order, to the delivery of my order the experience was horrible. With all the options of theaters in the Bay Area I would suggest you choose a different theater. I know I will be.
The movie theater was very clean, as well as the restrooms, and they had a good selection of the more popular movies. The seating was comfortable and seating to acvomodate the disabled. My only challenge was that the parking garage as so far away from the theater and my Sister is heavy-set and handicapped walking with a rollator. I ended up having to drop her off, by the theater, then go back down the block to the parking garage and walk back. It would of been a disaster had it been raining.

I have been coming to this theater since it opened. On previous visits it has been a little unkept. This time it was pretty empty with only about 8 people in the theatre. It was cleaner than it has been in the past. I would think its due to the COVID scare.I only got popcorn and it was good. Concession stands were open but appeared to have limited items.If you go to this location now you can expect to find relatively close parking. No lines and bored employees.

Typically I love this theater, however today at 1 PM I was in the theater in the middle of our current COVID surge and could not find one hand sanitizer past the front door that had anything in it!!! I spoke with the clean up staff and they had quite a time coming up with anything other than finally washing my hands in the bathroom. Touch railings, touch your seat and you have recontaminated your hands before you take a bite of popcorn. Guess you have to bring your own sanitizer to this theater!!!

I really like this theater - its always pretty clean, theyve got decent food options, and all the theaters Ive been in have very comfortable seats. Staff is also friendly and the atmosphere of the entire movie theater is chill.
Trying to exchange tickets for my 93 year old mom so she doesn’t have to sit in second row. Being that close means having to look up which means hours of neck pain afterwards. Been here 30 minutes and I’m still waiting for manager to exchange tickets while my 93 year old mom is waiting.Never experienced this type of customer service. And the girl at ticket counter told him my mom is 93 years old. Inconsiderate

The theater was very comfortable, and clean. But the bathrooms, yuck. No matter what time of day I see a movie here, the bathrooms are gross. On this particular day, they looked like they hadnt been cleaned from the night before.
We wanted to watch the show in 20 minutes but it was in hours later. We could change to Super Mario.

Parking is easy since structure is right next to building. Ordered tickets online for Free Guy. Theaters are mostly empty. Buttered popcorn was bland. Left most of it behind. Temperature in theater is cool, can bring a light jacket. Once you take the escalators up the first time, there is a place to buy snacks.
The atmosphere at this place is starting to degrade - it looks increasingly dirty when we come. They seem to be doing their best to keep up with it, so it isn’t in disrepair... but for example, I can’t remember the last time all the escalators worked.As far as actually watching a movie - it’s good. They have all the good ones and the screens/sound are nice. They upgraded the seats a few years ago and they are comfy (though they get very warm).Overall a good - not great - movie theater
Me and my family came here after they upgraded everything and reopened. We use to always go down the San Francisco location just because we loved the reclining chair but now this location has it for all movies not just the XD like before this will be our new favorite movie theater. A big plus you dont have to pay for parking
This is the most marvelous theater they have redone the whole movie theater is extremely clean and pleasant the staff is wonderful they have recliner chairs in the movie theater. If you want to go and see a movie I recommend 100% a million percent go to this movie theater. I might add I went to go watch sing too with my grandkids I havent been to a movie theater in years and if this is the case I go there just to relax thats how pleasant it was it was clean everybody wore their mask was considerate of everybody it was wonderful
Do not go here if you have a bag over 12x12x6 inches. They strictly enforce a backpack policy and will turn you away.
Saw Dune in IMAX a few days ago. Parking was easy via the multi level garage, and its a short walk from there to the theater. Seats are comfy, and the theater looked pretty clean in general. Only thing to complain about was they forgot to turn off the house lights until 5 minutes into the movie. When they finally did, everyone clapped loudly, which was hilarious.
Reclining, cushioned seats that you reserve when you buy your tickets. Full, loud, ground shaking surround sound. Broken up escalator and flakey elevator, and no clear signs for getting around.
Parking lot here is a nightmare but overall a nice big theater. Still has traditional basic theater seating. Not those fancy laid back ones and you cannot reserve them. I like this place cause it has 2 arcades one upstairs and downstairs. If there is a long line to get snacks downstairs...a good tip is to go upstairs where it might be less busy.
Pretty decent movie theater and decent snacks and we love the Dr Acton on the seats. So fun.
Everything was good, but they need to have better air-conditioners where they make food. The frying smell was too much and irritating actually.
Went to see Wakanda Forever. My only dislike was that the rows were well lighted and labeled but it was difficult to discern what the seat number was. That was frustrating.

Plenty of free parking spaces in adjacent covered building with paid admission.
On a Sunday morning, the theater was really clean; the popcorn is good and you could get a lot of butter on it. The seats are quite nice in this theater, with 20 screens, and the XD is highly enjoyable with awesome seats as well. A decently updated, yet slightly modest arcade area, especially on the lower theater floor, adds a nice touch and some extra kudos.
Large theater with free parking garage. You must be able to climb stairs. When we were there the up escalator was broken and we had to climb 57 stairs to get to our movie. Seats are comfortable and high enough you dont have to worry if someone tall sits in front of you. Good theater overall with friendly staff.
Easier to get good seats here than anywhere else in the Bay Area. Free Parking next door.

This theater isnt half bad. Just not amazing either. This theater houses up-to-date films and is great for SAG members since we get in free with guests. Id recommend a week day since this place gets packed fast!Beware of bringing in outside food, because they will bust you and make you eat outside, even though there are no postings anywhere about that sort of stuff.

I really like this place. Audiences tend to be good-natured and modestly participatory (occasional random funny comments shouted out, that sort of thing) but never disruptive, and they really only add to the experience. Theaters have stadium seating that is comfortable and clean. Lots of screens and plenty of options for times & films. All the usual movie theater snacks you would expect with popcorn that comes in tubs and not pathetic little trays like some places. And FREE parking right near by!
$9.50 for a matinee!!! There was an older gentleman with white hair working on the third floor. He was cursing so badly at another employee. I felt concerned and stayed on high alert. He scared a few of us. We were a party of 8 women. He really needs some training about appropriate behavior while customers are near. January 17, Friday 2020
So the chairs got a remodel and my boyfriend and I loved how they incline!!! Popcorn was fresh we enjoyed the theater very much!! We even took pics in the photo booth, which was a bit pricey but its was fun!!!
Its a great movie theater. Its a pretty movie theater with many movie options and many auditoriums inside. They have an IMAX and XD theater here also.
Love the new theater upgrades and always a fun day with my son at our local theater.
Comfortable seating with no ones head in your way. Garage parking, pretty efficient for being so large. But all escalators often not working (quite a drag this summer when I had a sprained ankle). Thirty minutes of previews this last visit, which is too long. The kids were totally restless and annoyed by the time the movie started. Me, too!

XD is awesome and they upgraded recently to assigned recliner seating. Plus, theres plenty of free parking, no validation necessary. And the popcorn is always fresh. Other theaters may have more character, but if you just want to be taken care of and watch a movie, its tough to beat this multiplex
The bathroom was gnarly...looked like blood on the urinal. The seats were old and chewed up. The upside is a good self serve snack bar that has booze available if youre into that. Im more of a coke slushi kinda guy. This theatre mostly sucks but remains serviceable due to location.
I love this place!!! Cool surroundings and friendly staff. Concessions are really high I bring my own food with me. Its also free parking at the garage next door. Food places on the way to the theater. Its a cool spot to go out the way. Its also a matinee before 6pm. Awesome!!! Its easy to get to by Bart or bus.

After years of having not been to movie theaters, the place has upgraded quite a bit. We have reclining comfy chairs. There is also reservations too. Not alot of people there. Very clean.
This theater has not been updated yet like the other theaters, the seats will not recline. You can reserve seats online or at the ticket office. The good things about this location is: free parking, not crowded. We came to the opening nights a few times for the blockbuster movies, we are always able to get the showings that we intended to watch. Going to the theater is super easy too, only a short drive on 280.

Cool place but this place could use more chairs. We let our kids watch movies and try to sit in the lobby area to wait for them but there was only a handful of chairs.The concession stands is pretty nice. Unlike other places, their large popcorn free refill is a large popcorn size; others free refill is a small bag. Theres only a $0.60 difference between a medium and large Slurpee so go for the bigger one. If youre not hungry skip the hot dog.

One of the only theaters in the area with comfortable seats. They offer a Luxury Lounger option for popular movies and are generally well staffed. The only issue Ive had here is cleanliness in the concession area. It can be quite messy depending on the time of day
Never had a bad experience. Its not luxury by any means of atmosphere or service, but its not too small or missing anything a basic movie theater needs. Its roomy, it has essentially all the movies available people want to see, and it has your typical movie snacks. Just a good place to go for your average movie night out

Overall OK theater with good sound and seats. The place is small and doesnt have a great selection of food options. In each of the two floors where the screens are there is only one food concession location to serve about 10 screens (there is one mobile location that never seems to be open). Parking is great a there are two nearby parking lots. If you are looking to simply check out a quick movie and are not looking for much other than popcorn and a drink, this theater would be for you. If you are looking for a better food and overall ambiance then I would recommend the Tanforan Century Theaters. Enjoy your movie!!

Location is easy to get to with free parking. They have a mix of theaters with assigned, recliner seats, and the traditional first come first seated. The snack bar had the usual stuff with the kettle popcorn being the newest addition.
I hadnt been to the movies in years, until a few months ago when I started taking my 6 year old grandson on the weekends. This theater is conveniently located near Daly City BART. Its rarely crowded at the times we go, usually on Saturdays between 2 and 5. Its clean and they have a good variety of concessions.
Easy to reach this multiplex just off of Highway 280. There is a free parking structure north of the theater. The seats are cushy and comfortable, but dont recline (at least in the theater I visited). Seats arent assigned, which is a downside for me. This theater screens popular movies and has a couple of eating places adjacent to it, which is nice.
Seat selection is not there, but lot of screens. Comfortable seats, but no luxury loungers...Theres a large parking structure also close by, so thats convenient.One issue is that the ticketing is outside & it gets very windy & cold there...
The theater was practically empty. The popcorn was good. They have a senior discount. Park is free at the garage a couple of doors down.
This place is a family favorite. It has the things you expect from a theater. Since the pandemic, it has been less crowded. You can view many movies practically alone. The prices have risen though.
This is an older theater, so the seats arent as nice as some of the new theaters out there. But it has multiple floors and two different snack stands that ensure that youre never waiting in line while the previews are playing. It also has a free parking garage, which is almost unheard of this close to the city. I would recommend a visit to this theater!
Wont watch another movie without luxury loungers. The best part about this theatre is the ample free parking though. I always come here and the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is that they dont serve kettle corn like their other theatre in northgate. Otherwise not much to complain about.

Caught a matinee, prices were very reasonable. Obviously concessions are ridiculously priced, but so is every movie theater. Screen was huge and quality was great. Saw Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grindelwald. The place is enormous but friendly staff to help you find your way. Will definitely go back!
Seats recline and are comfy, however Im short and my feet cant touch the floor. They sell beer and wine now.
As far as movie theaters in/around the city go, this place is just...eh. Its fine, its clean, staff is nice, they have a good selection of showings, its easy to get to from Bart and parking in the structure is free. But there arent many food options nearby and architecturally the whole place feels like an afterthought crammed into a lot next to a freeway onramp which continues to weird me out even after years of coming here.
It was good to go back to the movies. Century theatre Daly City looks awesome, leather reclining seates, popcorn and drinks just as I remember. BUT!!!! The only thing is, while watching the movie it was FREEZING!!!! So if they are not going to cut the heat on, bring a blanket!!!!!!
Its a very nice and relaxing place to go see your favorite movies. They even have Starbucks coffee and milkshakes there... Cookies too! Great popcorn, delicious hot dogs and other warm snacks. They have plenty of candy to pick from. Plenty of drinks too. They even have ice cream!!! Free parking on both sides of the building. Two whole floors of movie theaters. Its pretty clean too. They even have a fun photo booth. Our family loves going there. Its a great place to meet your friends for an afternoon movie and terrific for date night. Its fantastic for all the kid friendly movies for families.... Great place...... great location... its within walking distance to Bart, and right off of the 280 exit in Daly City by the Westlake District. Enjoy!!!
3D and a lounge chair was a wonderful way to watch Avatar the Way of Water. The theater was clean and smelled of popcorn 🍿
The theatre is like any other. Seats arent that great, you can reserve them now which is cool. That wasnt an option a couple years ago....Although it has its flaws, Ive been coming here all my life, and I dont plan on stopping anytime soon. Also free parking so really 4 1/2 stars. Not 5 cuz the chair are pretty bad.
Pretty cool theater, the lobby and entrance makes in seem small but there are actually a bunch of theaters inside. They have this cool free refill with a Large popcorn so I definitley recommend getting that deal when with friends. Seating is comfortable and cool. Im still lw new to bay area prices and have only started going to movie theaters frequently since September, but tickets do seem kinda pricey.
Enjoyed the show and the theater but man was the lobbies dirty. Secondly every time I go to this theater the escalators are always broken. They also had a huge group 20+ kids running a muck around the place. They finally had the police kick them out but once outside they continued to make a scene and cut everyone in line to scream at the cashiers for a refund. Overall an interesting experience, you cant judge them for the unexpected group of kids but I will rate them for the dirty lobbies and constant equipment issues.
Nice theater in the SF area, particularly if you are looking to drive to it. There is free parking and 2 large parking lots to get there. The restaurants and shops nearby are somewhat lacking, but decent enough to cover hungry movie goers pre/post viewing. The seats are comfortable, and the pricing is normal for a theater.
Could be cleaner but we go here because it is close by. Parking can be tough so go a little early. Get the popcorn refill deal as you can have cheap eats for the year for cheaper refills. I use movie pass frequently here because its close by but there are better theaters out there. Seats need updating
Havent been here in ages and now I know why. Overall condition is subpar, really giving you the feeling of a sketchy establishment from a sketchy neighbourhood.2nd floor access was all in construction... no concessions stand up there... just not a good vibe overall.The auditorium was quite dirty... lots of food on the floor, not sure how well they clean after each show.Definitely..a no go unless you gotta go see a movie or die.Ohh... the positive is nearby parking. Still complementary!
They just instituted a no-bag policy, which they dont inform you of ahead of time. But they dont have a place to check your backpack either (just put it in your car???). We had to get our tickets refunded because not even handbags are allowed. Thanks for penalizing those of us who take public transport, I guess.Make sure you dont let them scan your ticket! Otherwise you cant get a refund. Hard pass on century theaters.

This has been a staple location for movies within Daly City, and has been a location I have gone to for over the past 15+ years.This venue is a 3 story venue with consession areas on both theater floors, which is clearly labeled as open for the 3rd floor as it is only used during peek hours. There is a small arcade as well which has a lot of the staples one would expect. The staff is always super nice and polite as well, and they are promptly in full throttle after the credits to clean up the showing rooms before the next one.While there is only currently 1 XD showing room, they still have a lot to offer in terms of showing space and times. With the staple of having chosen seats for all showings, it makes going to the movies a more streamline experience.I would also recommend this particular theater for a great date night theater as there are resturants lining the bottom outside area of the theater plus free parking on both parking structures.
Dont bother. Bag policy prohibits anyone from getting into the theater within an hour, even on a Thursday night, even if you dont have a bag. They just lost a regular, long time customer. Going to a movie should not be this inconvenient. I doubt theyll stay in business when no one can get in to see a movie. Sure there is free parking, but security line is worse than the airport.
I will never go to this theatre again. I went to watch Hotel Mumbai with my cousin, and a Couple heard my cousin speaking Arabic to me and got up and left. A few minutes later there was a cop in the theatre “standing by.”There was also only 8 people in the theatre and everyone was obviously spread out.I caught him peeking over the ledge right at my cousin when I came back from the bathroom, and he seemed startled when he noticed me observing what he was doing.Also, the chairs are advertised as recliners but didn’t recline one bit. They were also made of very thin cushions that felt cheap and uncomfortable. The speakers in theatre one are super old and sound blown out. No where near as clear and crisp as any other movie theatre. and not to mention the movies aspect ratio wasn’t calibrated correctly😭I felt completely scammed. This theatre is old physically and mentally.If you’re Arabic speaker or someone of Middle Eastern decent and are thinking about going to this theatre, don’t. It’s obvious they don’t welcome us here.
Good theater, nice seats. All but one escalator was broken, and the stairs and carpets in common area were filthy with popcorn and various other trash, but I saw my movie and spent time on that instead of the less-than-stellar condition of the premises. Plus: free parking!
Free parking a must for me. Also some restaurants close by. Anyway theater is clean. Nice people. Only gripe so many stairs/ escalators. Good thing in is if you park next to the garage you can bypass the front and enter g as rage parking lot through theater.

The coolest thing about this theater is the free parking. The concession stand was a MESS! Sticky floor, dirty wadded up napkins and straw wrappers everywhere and expensive! Its also under construction so I hope things will improve.
Comfortable chairs, kind and helpful staff...and free parking. Not sure if always free parking but was while we were there for early Saturday morning...also clean bathroom! Didnt have popcorn so cant rate the food...but good latte...so no 5th star.

Thank you COVID for making it easier to go to the movie, and to get concessions. I used the Cinemark app to buy my tickets, and preorder my popcorn and drinks. So happy to be able to show my QR code on the app for the tickets, and to be able to grab and go with our snacks. No waiting in line, no fumbling for payment.
This places escalators are always broken down whick makes getting up to the theaters a pain. The seats are not as comfortable as the ones at City Center and the screens always have that one spot that is brighter than the rest. Can be pretty distracting. But I always go here simply for the convenience.
One great thing about this movie theatre is that they offer free parking next door, and its multi-level so the chances of finding a parking spot is higher than the other theatres.My experience here was average. There was no line when I went here to watch Zootopia because we watched the 10:35 pm showing.I actually lost my parking ticket but thank goodness they have extra ones near the exit.
Place is decent. Environment is good but sometimes is kinda dirty. Restrooms are well stock and the snack bar is pretty good. One extra star for the free parking structures.
This theater is very large. They keep it clean. Just wish the prices were not so expensive, as it is hard for a Big 👪 family to pay the cost to get in, plus the cost for the food - no wonder people always try to sneak things in and I dont blame them. They have free parking.

The movie was great but the theater room was hooribly uncomfortably freezing like why would you do that when people come in for something nice and for warmth and shelter sadly daly city weather was warmer then there theater rooms. What really sucks is that even for kid movies there theater rooms are freezing to where i see my own breath cold. They definitely need to fix their heaters or turn of the ac they have on full blast. Do not go without a winter coat snow suit or thick warm blanket youll freeze to death.
Im surprised that theyre using regular household toilet (the one with a tank behind the bowl) instead of a tankless pressure flush commercial type. The one in the all gender room was overflowing. Aside from that, staffs and seats are fine and pretty comfy.
As movie multiplexes go, it was OK. The staff was courteous, efficient, and friendly. The place was clean, but they had a wet tile floor in the concessions area (as a result of a water leak, maybe?) that, in my opinion, wasnt being immediately dried up and posed a fall hazard.
Movie was good. My gripe here was they turned off the down escalator forcing all of us attempting to leave to go down the steep stairs which at the bottom were a bunch of young women just sitting there blocking us patrons from leaving. When asked if they could please move there was lots of huffing and dirty looks from them. To top it off they were workers and their friends. So unprofessional.
ALERT: No bags over a certain size allowed. Denied entry.I bought my tickets online from the movie club and there was no notification so when I arrive with my friends and we were denied entery because one of our bags, though mostly empty, was larger than their policy allowed we were very upset. They did refund me but it spoiled our plans.I appreciate policies for safety but this one really just seems like corporate trying to cover their a$$.If youre going to have a policy different from other locations please use technology to have the websites/apps alert of this policy before purchase.Youd be doing a lot for customer satisfaction and retention.
Beware of the backpack ban. The staff almost took joy in denying us entry because we had come straight from work and had small backpacks. Cinemark would rather ban any sort of bag rather than take the time to search.Don’t let them ruin your evening, avoid all Century theaters until they get sensible about bags.
Its hard to fault this Century 20 in Daly City. Theres a free parking garage, food options, and even a Bart station all within walking distance. The theater itself has the premium theater seats with the recliners and well as a bunch of classic style auditoriums. Food and drink is the same as any other theater, expect to be gouged. Service is friendly and professional at least, theyll wait until the the second ending credits roll in your favorite Marvel movie.
Its getting a little old and run down. I dont know if it needs a good cleaning or because I always go to the last showing, but the theaters are a lot of times dirty. Seats are greasy and popcorns in between the seats. The XD lounge chairs are a newer feature that brings me back.
Seats arent the most comfortable, but definitely a good place to go and watch movies at a pretty reasonable rate. They dont do student discount unfortunately!! Staff are friendly and helpful and cinema times are all outside so you can decide easily when you get there.
A wonderful & entertaining place for families, especially when its cold (or smoky) outside. Snacks available, fun video parlor, etc. Safe, good lighting, free parking nearby, close to Cold Stone Creamery & other family friendly restaurants /hang outs.
Decent cinema theater if you live in the Daly City area. Ticket rates are reasonable and the ambience is just okay. Nothing too fancy. I think they redid some of the upholstery, so the seats appear to be new.
We saw a movie here and it was great. We bought our tickets online and got great seating. Very convenient & parking was easy too. Overall it was a really good experience and we will return.
One of the largest theaters in the area. They host late night opening nights for all the big blockbuster movies. There are also a plethora of food options nearby to try out while waiting for your movie. The parking garage is large and expansive and best of all - free! If you dont want to drive, the BART station is super close and an easy commute in from the city.
The concession stand employees were rude. They really need to improve there customer service skills. Next time I will probably go to the century at Tanforan San Bruno instead of this one.
I was arrived at that movie theater right before the movie time, the worker scanned my online purchased ticket and dont allowed me to get in because I carried a backpack. Question, why I gifted my money to Fandango and that theater? Guys, hopefully you can maintain better customer service.. otherwise, people quit to go watch movies outside. Bad experience ever.
I like this location better than Tanforan sometimes. No assigned seating can be either a curse or blessing. The seats here are more comfy and higher quality. A bunch more movie times since there are more theatres available.Shameless moviepass plug here. $10 bucks a month is worth it when 1 movie ticket is $12+.

This decades old movie theater is showing signs of its age (the stair portion of one of the escalators was literally stacked up for repairs) and the smaller theaters lack the plush stadium seating that is popular.That said, it has a good variety and plenty of showings that most SF movie theaters lack.Non early bird prices are quite high, but thats par for the course for the area.If you want the boutique experience, this isnt for you. If you want a relatively affordable place to check the latest movies (especially if you have movie pass) this is definitely good enough
It does what it needs to do. Play a movie and have snacks. The upper snack bar is still closed for years. You can only get your food on the second floor. The floors are all sticky where there is no carpet.Good prices and flexible movie times.
The IMAX house is very good
The luxury D-BOX lounge seats are very comfy and can recline back. Makes watching movies great, especially with the added rumble effects.
My wife and I will no longer patronize this theater. The management is doing a horrible job of maintaining it. The escalators are always broken down and there is only one slow elevator for those with mobility issues. The mens restrooms have broken urinals on both floors and leaky plumbing making for unsafe footing. This has been going on for some time now.
This is my local theater - Ive seen dozens of movies here. The location is busy and shows it. The escalator is often out of order, the floors sticky, and some of the theater seats are stained. The XD cinema has decent sound, but many of the smaller theaters are only ok.
Place was clean and seats are very comfortable and in general is a good place to watch movies

Also, even though this theater offered upgraded seating, the rows are very narrow, not allowing enough space for people to cross through to their seats.Some folks even jumped over the seats to access an empty row for easy passage.

It’s a great location easy to get in and out if you don’t live in Daly City the 280 freeway is next to it and 19th Ave is also there. I recently went to the movies and found out that some of the seats in the theater have been upgraded they are fully reclinable and super comfortable. As always they have fresh popcorn at all times and the place is super clean.

Actually everyone of the staff we came in contact with was friendly and polite.The theater was spotlessly clean. The chairs were the most comfortable of any movie theater Ive been in. The bathroom was spotlessly clean too. Good experience. I highly recommend.Btw, the movie was great. Please go see it.
