This is wonderful sushi shop that is owner operated. Great quality with new sushi combinations! Ordered the Yellow tail with spice tuna roll. Just amazing! Happy to recommend to others!

When we walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. They had a menu bigger than I anticipated and it had a nice variety too. We ordered a samurai roll (deep fried) and and chicken udon to go. Our food stayed nice and hot for the ride home and the sushi roll was still crispy!Very tasty, Id be happy to order from them again!

We absolutely love this place, our favorite sushi place. Even after moving to Ontario we still stop by this place when we are in town. The server is always friendly and the food is ready fast. We love the edamame and all the rolls.

I give a one star because it was over priced. Had 2 rolls, 3 12oz beers and a large hot saki. It cost me $80 bucks. I usually go to darumaya in Beaumont. Great sushi. Get 2 rolls, 2 small hot sakis and 2 22oz beers and for only $40 bucks!! Honestly this place didnt even ask what size I wanted the saki or the beer. Just served it. The sushi was ok but Darumaya was better. I like to try sushi places and compare but never again will I come here. Sushi for one shouldnt be $80 dollars. I truly think she up the prices on me. Sad cause thats not how you keep customers. I dont see many negative reviews thats why Im very surprised on my experience. Oh well hope you have a better experience. Eat here at your own risk. *Photo is receipt of Darumaya. Sake is 3 bucks for a small, large may be 6 so my 80 dollar bill here doesnt add up. Plus had more beer at Darumaya then here ...idk just doesnt add up

The worst place for noodle and ramen. For ramen, its just instant noodles with nothing added to it. For udon, its just off the shelf udon pack soaked in salty pasty miso with very little add on. This restaurant has no interest in sustainable business, only looking for making one time money. I have no idea how this place received this many positive review from the REAL experience I had.

I was there for the korean food. The broth was good, but the ingredients were a little lacking. Otherwise, it is the best Korean food within a 15 miles radius. Definitely worth a try.

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but I’m sorry this place was disgusting! The miso soup was awful no Tofu and it had an odd smell and taste to it. Then we got the calamari like a total of 5 pieces and they had absolutely no flavor! Then the sushi well my son said the salmon was like they injected water into it, super watery everything was just gross! I ordered a soda the nice woman filled it 3/4 full and never gave me a refill my son asked for a refill she literally filled his empty cup half full! Then to top it all off it was ridiculously expensive we paid $60 for 2 rolls and 2 soups and calamari I really wish I took a picture of the calamari what a joke! And the grand finale was she actually chargerd me $14.99 for a roll that was supposed to be $12.99 I even checked the website after to confirm that I was over charged! Long story long absolute worst everything and I left still hungry because I couldn’t eat the food. Yuck!🤮🤮🤮

The food is very good. What is not good is that the woman who waited on us (we think she is the owner) told us that the prices on the menus were not right! When I asked her what the price was for the sushi/sashimi combination was she said she would have to check and let me know! The price on the menu was $19.95 and when she came back she said it was $24.95-a 25% increase! My husband wanted to order the Dragon Roll which was $12.95 on the menu and she said that it was now $14.95. We were hungry and remembered that the food was good so we both ordered and also a glass of wine each. No price on the menu for the wine but it was Tuesday night and beverages are 1/2 price on Tuesdays. It was surely box wine and the regular price is $9.95 a glass which is really crazy!!! No wonder we were the only customers there!! Sorry, but we wont plan to go back.

I never leave reviews but I had to after my experience here. Our order was messed up 3 times. The cooks kept adding things inside the rolls that weren’t supposed to be in them. They added avocado to my sister’s roll twice, and she is VERY allergic to avocado. When we notified the staff, the owner insisted that the roll did include avocado and she didn’t believe us until she finally checked the menu, (at HER own restaurant.) They also added crab to my mom’s roll when it didn’t include crab. To top it all off, the prices on the menu are NOT the prices they will charge you. We got charged $3+ more for everything we ordered and were told the menus hadn’t been updated. They blamed everything on our poor waitress Kylie who was amazing and did a great job. Kylie also told us that the owner keeps all of their tips. Never going back here.

Prices were too high and portion sizes were very small. I spent almost $300 taking my family out for dinner. We didn’t get much food for the amount I spent. The food lacks flavor. Service was very slow. The food used to be good years ago, but don’t know what happened. Ordered my 3 year old son noodles with veggies and he finished his whole entire plate without even sharing. After finishing his plate, he wanted more. All the dishes we ordered were not even enough to share, so everyone pretty much ate only what they ordered. Not sure what happened, maybe new owner or new management?

I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh flavors. There are some very unique fried and baked Maki that I didnt try but seemed like they might be good. The service was decent, as were the prices. This isnt a top-notch sushi restaurant, but it isnt trying to be one either. I think a 4 ⭐ rating is fair. I wish I had taken pictures. Sorry🤷🏾‍♂️

The sushi was just okay but what was most frustrating was that the cook couldnt get our order correct. Sushi roll had to be sent back twice due to being prepared incorrectly. Also menu items and pricing were not consistent. The waitress was nice and professional.

This place is great, good size portions, flavorful, fairly priced, and best of all close to home so no need to worry about traffic. I always get rare steak pho, the broth is my personal favorite out of other places within driving distance - clean and clear as well as the meat. The staff has always been kind and attentive checking into see if youre enjoying your meal. Grade A customer service if you ask me. If youre passing by, be sure to stop in for a bite.

My husband took me out for a sushi birthday dinner. The service was friendly and fast. The quality of food was good. They offer select rolls for $7.00 on Mondays and they even had my plum wine. We will return to eat here soon.

OMG! The Baked Lobster roll is to die for! Delicious! Loaded with lots of Lobster on top of the rolls; some places are stingy with their lobster, but not City Sushi & grill! My kiddos and I love this place! Staff is very friendly! Great customer service! My family and I will definitely be returning customers!

Wasn’t very happy that they didn’t have chicken fried rice & my friends plates were plastic and the worker told us she had to charge us a dollar for them. My lemonade came to 5.45 and i think that’s an absurd amount for lemonade that came in a plastic cup, also was out and was very uncomfortable to sit in. i’m very disappointed. do better CITY SUSHI !!!

The food here was pretty good.The good: The greens were fresh, the vegetables were good and the tofu I got was well marinated (Yum). The portion in the bowl I got was decent.The not so good: There was no soda fountain; which is ok... Except that the tea was really bad. It reminded me of burnt gas station tea (I tried all the flavors to find one that was ok, and gave up in favor of water.)tThe price was what you might expect of a trendy restaurant.
